Vik's PoV
It was once again free time at the afternoons, since we both had solo training yesterday, so today we're free for this period of time. Lachlan was chatting about something that's related to our hybrid form and stuff, and let's just say I wasn't in the mood to be curious about what he was talking, so I nodded every once in a while, to tell him that he was still listening.
I continued walking as I stretched my wings a bit, then noticed one thing... The red lights are flashing again. And I sure do know what that means... I'm going to be in savage mode now. I've heard from the boys that you don't get to control what you do after you had your first ever savage mode, and I'll faint before I knew what was going on.
"Lachlan-" I quickly said before I felt weak, and fell onto the ground with a quiet thump.

Lachlan's PoV
I was talking to Vik about which elemental hybrids are the strongest, and what species of hybrid is the best, until I heard him weakly call my name.
I immediately spun around, to see him laying there on the ground, how has he suddenly fainted?
I walked over and gently poked him, he still seemed lifeless, just laying there. I looked around for help, but only saw a part of the crowd running away.
A growl brought my attention back to him, as he was now slowly standing back up. I was about to bombard him with questions, before I saw one thing... His eyes are crimson red.
I flew up to watch at a distance away, since I wouldn't like to be killed by my best friend nowadays, especially when we're in a prison. He started snarling at the crowd, which was half the size of the one just now, since most of them ran to save themselves I guess.

Third person PoV
The crowd was soon gone, as there is now only a few groups of hybrids here to watch. The dragon growled at the bystanders, in a way of warning them that he's gonna attack soon.
The hawk flew down from the celling and glided right in front of him, as a distraction from his aggression to the groups.
It immediately got the attention from the snarling dragon, who is now trying to use psychic to grab him. He succeeded to do so very quickly, so now the hawk is pinned against the closest wall in this room.

At the other corner of this room, other things were happening. The shadow hybrids are being cornered by two artificial looking guards, which had their tasers out, ready to shock them whenever they wanted.
The hawk who just escaped from the dragon's psychic grip seemed to notice this, but didn't do anything about it since he was way too busy on the mission, which was to try to stop his friend from attacking people, and get out of savage mode as quickly as possible.
(A/N: Just saying it now, Lachlan made a horrible decision on not saving them- Wait... I should probably shut up before I spoil anymore information)
The hawk continued flying around the dragon, and almost got bit on the tail, but he was still fine for now. He was obviously getting more tired by the second...

Lachlan's PoV
Vik was way too close to biting me now, and I know I probably can't survive a chomp from him. I took a deep breath before flying up high, since I really don't want to get injured today.
He snarled at me before staying quiet, and in that split second, his right eye turned golden... Wait...
I heard a long hiss before the dragon flew over immediately, and tackled one of the guards to the ground, while using his tail to smack the other. Snack was bark-hissing this whole time, maybe he was giving commands to him?
The guards fainted almost immediately, so I walked over since I wanted to investigate what happened, and to my surprise, the dragon sat still and looked at me with one crimson red eye and one golden eye.
A few seconds later, Vik fainted and fell onto the floor, I hope he has ended his savage mode? He stood up shakily afterwards, his eyes now one golden and one chocolate brown, and gave me a small smile.
"Did I kill anyone- Oh god Snack did you tell me to attack two guards?!" Vik said surprised, as he replied with a hiss.
"Wait- Those were hunters?" Vik asked after a few hisses were heard, and looked at the currently unconscious bodies next to him.
"Thanks for that Vik... You too Snack" Simon said with a grin as he petted his pet snake.
"Yeah... We probably would've died" Josh replied with a relaxed smile.
"You've got a lot of explanation to do..." I whispered to Vik as we left the pair alone, giving them private time.
