Part 17~ The mysterious hybrids
Lachlan's PoV
We met up with the boys at breakfast- Well not all of them, as Simon and Josh weren't here. I looked around curious as to where they can be, and to my expectations, they weren't in this dining place at all.
"Umm... Boys? Where are Simon and Josh at? I can't seem them..." I asked to everyone in the little group we're in, and half of them shook their head, and all stayed silent except one voice.
"I was the first one up, and saw Josh teleported inside of Ethan and mine's cell saying that both of them won't be out of their cell for the morning because of personal reasons." Tobi explained, as some of them murmured in acknowledgment, and Ethan nodded in confirmation.
"I was actually up before you Tobs. I was just too lazy to get up, but I still heard what you both said." Ethan said, chuckling a bit.
"I'm gonna go check on them. Which cell are they in?" Vik asked after staying silent for a while, question directing to The Sidemen.
"The one that's second closest to the left wall in the corridor." Harry replied, looking at the corridor of cells where most hybrids were in.
Walking down to the end of the corridor which I don't want to write details about~
We kept walking down the corridor that had all the cell doors opened, and we stopped till the end was a few steps in front of us. I looked to my left, seeing all the cell doors opened... except one. And of course it was the second closest to the wall.
I walked over carefully, looking at the door that was barely open, as if someone forced it to close. There were claw marks near the front door with a little note next to it, laying on the floor. I didn't bother to check it, so I looked at the direction of the bed on the right, to see something weird- Shadows that were not reflected from any objects.
I signalled Vik to walk over, and he did so quietly. I pointed at the shadows that were moving a tiny bit, "Why are those shadows there?" He whispered curiously.
"How am I supposed to know?" I asked back, now quietly sneaking over to the shadows.
As I squatted down on a spot fairly far enough, I could somehow see different shades of grey and black for details, as I let out a small gasp.
The details shown clearly who they were- Well Josh and Simon of course, but they both were sitting down, Simon was sobbing, curled up into a ball on Josh's lap and Josh was trying to comfort him by patting his back. In this distance, faint sounds of whimpering were barely audible, along with some words that were blurred by a bit.
I heard the sound of a snap and looked back, and saw Vik accidentally stepped on a twig or something like that. The two in the shadows immediately tensed up, who now are nervously whispering to each other.
Simon's PoV
Well shit... I hope it's not the ones that I think are coming...
"J-Josh please check their a-auras to make s-sure..." I manage to whisper between sobs, and he pulled me closer to his chest protectively with one arm, rubbing my back slowly with a rhythm. His panicked breathing slow down as he opened his palm in a peaceful way, and luckily he said something with made me feel a lot safer.
"It's not the hunters... They never had light or dark auras right?" He asked with caution, so I just shakily nodded.
(A/N I know this is very confusing right now but I'll explain at the end of this chapter)
"Not that I've heard of... How many are there?" I asked back, as he stayed quiet again, probably checking their auras. My emotions are now a lot more stable than just now.
"Two... A royal and a legendary. One... A fairly non-evil aura. But how?" He replied back with curiosity, looking at me straight in the eyes as he tilted my head up.
"We need to surrender nonetheless... Just do it." I said honestly, and he took a deep breath and nodded.
We slowly stood up from the shadows nervous looks, and I opened my eyes to see the Vikklan pair here.
Vik's PoV
Minizerk stood up from the shadows, but in this form they had horns like mines, but they looked like smoke with a midnight black colour for it. They also had devil tails that had the same colour and effects as their horns.
"Simon? Josh? Why didn't you tell me about this hybrid form of yours?" I asked with curiosity, pointing with my talon at their horns.
"Wait... When were you two light hybrids? And who's the dark here?" Josh all of a sudden asked a few questions, making me shrug in response.
"I am one dark hybrid, shadows..." Flame hissed appearing out of nowhere, with a rather threatening look.
"You all need explanation. Now." Lachlan commanded, using his wind powers to round us all up together.
"Look... I'm sorry that we haven't tell you this sooner. I'll be honest, the rest of the Sidemen also didn't know about this. But to simply explain this, we both are pure shadow hybrids..." Simon quickly explained, but then broke down in tears again. Josh pulled him closer to himself with a hug, and the whimpering sound from Simon were muffled, as he now wipe his tears on Josh's shirt.
"More detailed explanation please?" Lachlan asked, not impressed with his answer.
"I'll explain that your majesty, but at midnight after lights off." Flame finished, flying off in a snap later.
... I have a bad feeling about the connection of different elements of hybrids, I don't know why but it feels like there's something bad... I just hope it goes better than I think.

Hey there, Flame here and I'm sorry that this chapter was rushed, but keep in mind that the history explanation will now be a day earlier than the lunch talk, so the next chapter is history! But anyways till then, fire on!
