" Kalos Military?" Ash and Lara said in unison.

" Yes. I want both of you to join Kalos Military" Delia said.

" But why?" Ash asked.

" Your father was also in Kalos Military. He was considered one of the strongest soldier ever. So I want you both to follow his footsteps" Delia said to them.

" But as far as I know, girls are not allowed to join Military" Lara said to her mother.

Delia took the pamphlet and showed the end portion of it which said " Prince of Kalos and the only one who got the title ' One Man Army', Namit Yvonne has said that girls can also join Army".

" Prince has said!?" Lara asked in disbelief.

" Yes, are you both joining or not?" Delia asked her children.

Ash and Lara looked at each other and then looked at Gary who gave them 'I-don't-know' look.

" I guess I will join" Lara said.

" Me too" Ash said.

" Great! The first day will be tomorrow. You both get all the rest today" Delia said excitedly.

Ash took the pamphlet and turned it over and saw something about his business. On the other side of the pamphlet, a notice was given that an Important ruby of 90 carat is in the showcase of Kalos. People can go and see the ruby.

" Mom, I am going out. I will come back by night" Ash said as he got up.

" Ok but be safe" Delia said to him.

" I will" Ash said as he left the house.

He went towards the palace and saw many guards guarding the palace. He looked for some open area and saw the other side of the palace was not guarded.

Meanwhile inside the palace............

Serena and Dawn were playing with their Pokemon, Fennekin and Piplup. Serena was in deep thought which Dawn noticed.

" What happened Serena?" Dawn asked.

" I am thinking about how to stop the black thief" Serena said as she stroked Fennekin's head.

Dawn thought for a moment and suddenly, an idea came in her mind.

" I have an Idea Serena. This will surely help to capture Black thief" Dawn said as she explained Serena the plan.

" Great Idea Dawn! Just make sure not to tell Namit, he will not allow me to go" Serena said to Dawn.

" You don't worry about it. I will not tell him" Dawn said to Serena.

Serena then got up and went towards her room to get ready for the plan.

At night –

It was night time in Kalos. Every guard guarding the royal palace properly. Suddenly, a black figure appeared in front of the guards.

" Who are you?" One guard asked as he positioned his arrow.

The black figure did an aerial Cartwheel and hitted the arrow with his legs and destroying it in the process. He then formed a punch and charged it towards the guard. He hitted the guard so hard that he went flying towards the wall behind him and fainting in the process.

" This is what happens when you stop Black thief a.k.a Ash Ketchum" said the black figure.

He then went inside the palace. He attacked all the guards who came in his way to the showcase room. He opened the window and saw the shining ruby beneath him. He took out a rope from his bag and tied it on the top and then descended slowly on the ground from the top. When he reached their, he landed on the ground. He then grabbed the ruby with his hands and was about to withdraw it when suddenly, another hand grabbed his hands. He looked up and saw another black figure. But no ordinary figure, the figure was having short honey blonde hairs and has a black cloth tied on her face. Only the her Cerulean eyes were visible.

" What a girl is doing here?" Ash thought in his mind.

" I finally got you Black thief" Serena said in her mind.

Ash tried to withdraw his hands but the girl pulled the ruby towards her and began running away from Ash. Ash ran towards her. He jumped on a box and did an aerial Cartwheel just above the girl and snatched the ruby from her. He then ran towards the exit but the girl ran faster than him and hitted his hand which was containing the ruby and the ruby flew above in the sky and landed on the first floor. The girl ran towards the staircase while Ash grabbed the rod on the wall and began climbing it. Both of them reached on the first floor but the girl took the ruby earlier than Ash. Ash pinned the girl on the wall with the ruby on her hand.

" Who are you?" Ash said as he moved his hands to her mask and slowly pulled it down.

He pulled the cloth down and saw the most beautiful face ever.
