Day was awoken gently by falling off her bed with a yelp. She untangled herself from her mess of blankets on the floor with an over-exaggerated gasp. After sitting there for a few moments she scrambled up and out of her room getting herself some food and got dressed in her usual green and blue long sleeved off the shoulder shirt. It was way too big though so it acted as a dress. She (somehow) brushed and untangled her hair and grabbed her backpack rushing out the door to get to school. After putting her backpack into her locker, looking for a seat to take. She noticed a kid wearing black and gray with small horns protruding from his head (At least she thought they were a he) and so she went over and sat beside him. She looked over at him, he had shoulder-length, black, unbrushed hair (Or just messy. She couldn't quite tell). He wore a dark grey turtleneck sweater and black jeans. He had a pitch black demon tail and small pitch black horns protruding from his hair.

"Hello! I'm Day! What's your name?" She asked him cheerfully, and he looked over at her quickly hiding a paper he was drawing something on just staring, blinking at her for a moment before replying quietly ".. I'm Night." "Nice to meet you Night!" She seemed happy her ears twitching on her head from the shuffle of students entering the classroom and sitting by their friends from last year quickly starting or joining a conversation. The kid, Night, watched them all warily before going back to studying Day. She had golden-yellow hair, ears, and tail, her ears and tail having more of a brownish tint to them. She wore a clearly way too big off the shoulder green and blue striped shirt and had no shoes on. Her hair reached about her mid back and covered her eyes, blocking any sign of then other than thing red streams going down her face and red stains around the area, the red liquid dripping onto the floor. Her ears faced him and she tilted her head. He blinked before looking away from her and at a clock "Its almost time for class to start." She looked at the clock " huh. So it is." She looked at him "Talk to you after school?" "Uh.... S-sure.." She giggles "See you later then!" Day turns to the board as the teacher enter and Night nods, smiling slightly for once. He was happy, and he wanted to stay that way....
