Sakata sat up in his bed, his bedhead a mess, as he yawned. He looked out the window, even though it was the beginning of June, the sky was covered in a layer of dark grey. The redhead felt lightheaded as he held his head in his hand. My head hurts.

He knew that the raven-haired would tell him to stay home if he didn't feel well, but he reasoned with himself that it was just a small headache that'll go away. He got up to get ready for school, hoping that it would take his mind off of everything that was stressing him out.

As the three walked to school, Sakata would occasionally shake his head whenever a headache came through.

"You sure you're okay?" Senra asked the redhead, who nodded his head.

"I'm fine~"

The other two just looked at each other before sighing. The redhead could be stubborn whenever he wanted to be.

"Just promise me that you'll go home if you don't feel well." Soraru said as the redhead smiled.

"I will, I will. You don't have to worry about me."

They arrived at the school gates, Sakata glanced at the short brunette for a split second before going to talk to the albino. Urata pretended that he didn't notice the redhead and chatted with Kashitaro.

"You can cut the tension with a knife."

Soraru turned to look at the teal-haired that had muttered.

"Heyo Soraru~" Yuuto greeted the male, who gave him a blank look.

"Aw, no hello back? How mean~"

"Don't you have other people you should be annoying?" Soraru asked as the teal-haired giggled.

"Yep, but you guys are my favorite people to annoy~"

"So is Sakata okay?" Yuuto asked as he looked at the redhead, "his face seems even more red than usual."

"Eh?" The blonde and raven-haired both let out as they looked at the redhead.

Sure enough, his cheeks were redder than before. Yuuto walked up to the redhead and pinched his cheeks, earning a complain from the male.

"Sakata~ you're making your brothers worried~"

Yuuto then removed his hand from the redhead's cheek and shook it a bit to ease the small pain. Just touching his cheeks is enough to slightly burn my fingers. The teal-haired frowned a bit before glancing at the short brunette. You two are such a pain.

"Hey Urata, Sakata," Yuuto called out as he looked at the two.

"Eh?"
"What?"

They met the male's eyes, the same glow-like effect appeared in his green eye. That should help. The teal-haired smiled, "never mind I forgot what I was going to say. Well see ya guys~"

Now hopefully it'll come back at the right time. Yuuto 'bumped' into the redhead as he was walking away. Sakata stumbled and fell right into the short brunette's arm. The teal-haired made a side glance as he looked at them. Guess it doesn't affect him. Makes sense. He grinned to himself as he walked into the school.

"E-Eh?!?" Sakata's face heated up, only this time it was because of the blush.

Urata helped the redhead up and then quickly stopped holding him, moving away a bit. Sakata was calming down his embarrassed face.

"Www Sakata's blushing a lot~" Amatsuki teased as he poked the redhead's cheek, before feeling a slight burn.

"Ow." The red eyed brunette retracted his hand in confusion.

This isn't good. Soraru and Nqrse thought as they saw the interaction.

"Sakata, you're really burning up." Amatsuki stated as the redhead titled his head.

"Eh? I am?"

"You don't feel it?"

The redhead simply shook his head no. Amatsuki was even more confused now.

"How?"

"We'll be late if we don't go to class now," Soraru interrupted as he grabbed the albino's hand, "let's go."

"Oh you're right, see ya guys." Mafu said as he walked with the raven-haired.

Soraru glanced back and gave the pink haired male a knowing look. Nqrse understood what he meant and nodded his head.

"Guess we should get going." Shima said as he made his way to their classroom.

"Yeah," Urata then glanced at the redhead before looking at his own hand. I touched him yet I didn't get burned. With that thought on his mind, the short brunette left the area with the purple-haired.

"Hey Sakata, I brought a cookie for a snack but I don't want it anymore." Nqrse said as the redhead lit up.

"I can have it?"

Nqrse just nodded his head, in a quick second the cookie was gone from his hand and already in the redhead's mouth. The pink haired male found it a bit funny and let out a small chuckle.

"Well see ya later guys." Nqrse said as he left with the light haired male.

"You were pretty eager to eat that cookie." Kashitaro said in amusement as the redhead beamed.

"It taste good~"

Th brunette rolled his eyes at the male's childish behavior before walking with Amatsuki. The only two left were Sakata and Senra.

"I know we've asked you many times before, but are you sure you're going to be okay?" Senra asked as the redhead rolled his eyes.

"I'll be fine~ and I told niichan that if I feel worse then I'll go home."

The blonde just nodded his head, still concerned about the redhead. He still isn't trying to fix their broken past. But I can't really force Urata to forgive him if he doesn't. Senra sighed as he walked with the redhead to class. I wonder if Urata even forgives him.

*******

It had been just a few hours since school began and Sakata felt his face burning up to the point that he thought that he was sweating. The headache wasn't helping at all, he couldn't focus in class even if he tried. I-I think I need some air. Sakata raised his hand to ask the teacher if he could go to the nurse to rest a little. Senra was going to go with him but the redhead said that he would be fine after a small nap.

Sakata got up and left the class, every step forward made him wobble a bit. He almost tripped while walking on the stairs. I-I really should've listened to them in the first place. The redhead found it unusual for him to act like this, he couldn't tell if it was because of the fever or his complicated feelings.

Oh right, he remembered what the raven-haired told him. I need to do something about it before things get out of hand. The redhead tried to walk to the nurse's office, keyword tried. He felt his vision begin to blur, he looked down at his hand before realizing that a small flame was starting to form. He widened his eyes and quickly clasped his hands together to stop the fire. T-This is bad.

He looked behind him to see that a small, weak trail of fire was formed. He snapped his fingers to make them disappear, he took a few deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself down. I should probably go home— Sakata felt his head throb in pain as a big headache shot through. T-This hurts so much.

He could barely find the strength the stand, his body leaned forward as he began to fall. As if luck was by his side, he felt himself land in someone's arms. The redhead could barely see through his blurry vision.

"O-Oi!" Urata exclaimed as he held the redhead.

The short brunette then noticed that the redhead looked worse than usual. He saw the redness of the younger male's face almost begin to rival his hair. He's really burning up. Urata looked around the halls, there wasn't anyone nearby and he couldn't just leave the redhead alone in the state he was in.

Urata sighed as he shifted his body so that he could support the redhead.

"Oi, can you hear me?" Urata asked, he received a weak nod from the barely conscious redhead.

At least he's still somewhat awake. Urata then tried his best to take the redhead to the nurse's office. It took a while, with the fact that the green eyed brunette was shorter than the male, but he managed to make it.

"Oh, what's wrong?" The nurse asked as the short brunette rested the redhead on the bed.

"He's burning up because of a fever." Urata said as the nurse went to check the redhead.

The short brunette just awkwardly stood there, not sure if he should go back to class and let the redhead rest here alone or stay here with him. The nurse seemed to panic after checking the male.

"This is bad," she muttered, "I need to tell Genta."

The nurse then glanced at the short brunette. She was unsure about what to say to him.

"I know he can use fire magic." Urata said, he figured that the nurse was hesitant to tell him anything about the redhead in fear of exposing his secret.

"So you're a friend of his?"

"Yeah..."

"Uh," the nurse wasn't sure whether to leave the short brunette alone with the redhead. Sakata's powers are unstable and it could burst at any moment, "are Soraru and Senra available?"

Urata took out his phone to text the two males. But it looked like it didn't work in the end. Why is it that they just happen to be busy when I need their help? Urata groaned in frustration, they know more about this than I do.

"They're busy," Urata said as the nurse informed Genta about what is happening.

"He needs to rest, but I don't think the school is the best place." The nurse stated as she gave the redhead, who was turning back and forth, a worried look. She then looked at the short brunette, "can you take him back to his house? I'll make it an excused absence for you."

"Eh?"

Urata wasn't sure, I'm going to be alone with a ticking time bomb. He didn't like the idea of being alone with the redhead, who could burst because of his fever.

"Genta will take him, but someone needs to watch over him."

"Why not Soraru or Senra?" Urata asked as the nurse rose her eyebrow.

"But didn't you say they were busy."

"I'm sure they'll drop whatever they're doing in a heartbeat to help him." Urata stated as the nurse thought about it.

"Then I'll call them over, at least stay with him for now." The nurse walked away to call the blonde and raven-haired over.

Urata just glanced at the redhead, his face was getting redder and redder with each passing second. The short brunette was confused at why he didn't want to help the redhead. Goddammit Urata, he's practically almost dying and you're being stubborn.

He touched the redhead's forehead, he felt something cool pass through his hand but saw that there was nothing. Expecting the younger male's forehead to be burning hot, the short brunette was surprised at how nothing happened to him. Urata then saw that the redhead's face had cooled down for a bit.

"Ah, you guys came." The nurse said as she saw the raven-haired and blonde arrive.

"Sakata!"

Both of them rushed to the redhead's side as Urata moved out of the way. The short brunette decided to leave but was stopped by the raven-haired's voice.

"Urata, can you watch over him at our house?"

"Eh?" The green eyed brunette gave him a dumbfounded look.

"Wait, why are you—" Senra was cut off as the raven-haired whispered to him.

"Look I want to take care of Sakata myself, but this can help the two of them," Soraru reasoned, "I'm getting sick and tired of their constant ignoring each other bullshit."

Senra just nodded his head, not wanting to argue with a slightly irritated raven-haired. He looked at the short brunette.

"We can't leave class, but Shima said that you guys have a sub and aren't doing anything."

"W-Well, yeah, but—"

"Are you seriously going to keep avoiding him, in case you haven't realized, that's the reason we're in this situation." Soraru bluntly said as the green eyed brunette gave him an annoyed expression. Who knew Soraru would try to guilt trip me into helping. Urata thought as he sighed.

"Fine, I'll watch over him."

"Thanks Urata." Senra said as he smiled at the male.

"You can use Sakata's key to enter the house." Soraru said as the short brunette nodded his head

The nurse quickly called the principal over while Senra handed Urata the redhead's bag.

"Just so you know, I don't think Sakata was responsible for that day. Something else must've happened." Soraru said as the short brunette stayed silent.

"Why am I being treated like I was in the wrong." Urata remarked as the raven-haired rolled his eyes.

"Both of you were. You for leaving him behind back then, and Sakata for being an idiot and keeping things bottled up despite knowing that it would just hurt him. And for killing your parents, but only if it was actually him."

The short brunette just looked away as he glared at the floor. Honestly, Urata hated himself for what happened, he couldn't believe that he left someone alone, during a fire no less. Senra gave him a pitied smile.

"Things can be easily misunderstood in the eyes of a child."

"Maybe you should use that quote for yourself." Soraru muttered as the blonde glared at him.

"So exactly what am I going to do with him?" Urata asked as he gestured to the redhead.

"Just make sure he's not burning up. You can put a wet cloth over his forehead." Senra said, causing the short brunette to raise his eyebrow.

"But his power is related to fire, won't water hurt him?"

"So you found out about our powers...." Senra said as the raven-haired answered the short brunette's question.

"He adapted to water at a young age thanks to someone that took care of us so water doesn't hurt him. Only my powers and types of water he's not used to can hurt him."

"Well, see you later. We'll just tell the others that you're sick." Soraru said as he waved goodbye to the short brunette, Senra soon followed.

Urata glanced back at the redhead, who's face was turning red again. The short brunette was waiting for the principal to take them to the redhead's house. I'm taking care of someone that can literally set things on fire. He sighed as he patted the redhead's head, maybe I should just leave things in the past and start new.
