"Was it a good idea to leave Sakata alone?" Senra asked the raven-haired in a slightly unsure voice.

"Maybe, maybe not," Soraru replied as they walked towards the school, "let's just hope he doesn't accidentally burn something."

Their powers get weaker whenever they're sick, however it also gets harder for them to control it. So even the weakest and smallest mistake can cause the biggest disaster.

"Maybe one of us should stay with him." Soraru muttered to himself, he felt uneasy at leaving the sick redhead alone. That and his older brother instincts made him worried that he might hurt himself by accident.

"I can stay back." Senra volunteered as the raven-haired smiled at him.

"Sure, see ya once school's done." Soraru said as he waved goodbye to the blonde and continued to walk to the school while Senra turned around and headed back home.

The raven-haired was close to the school as he could see the gates nearby. He was enjoying the peaceful walk until he heard a voice behind him shout his name.

"Soraru~!"

"Of course, it was too quiet." Soraru muttered to himself as he stopped to look at the albino that was grinning at him.

"Hello~" Mafu happily greeted the raven-haired, who rose his eyebrow.

"How can you have energy this early?"

"I don't. I'm just pretending to have energy so I don't notice how tired I actually am."

Soraru gave him an 'are you serious' look before shaking his head in amusement. The albino giggled before noticing that the raven-haired was alone.

"Where's Sakata and Senra?"

"Home. Sakata's sick and Senra decided to stay with him."

"Ooh, how lucky for Senra~ I wish I can simply decide to not go to school."

"Why don't you?"

"Because then Amatsuki would whine about me leaving him, and I don't want to hear that."

Soraru rolled his eyes, Amatsuki would definitely do something like that. The raven-haired sometimes wondered why he even agrees to hang out with these guys. He glances at the albino next to him, who was radiating a bright smile despite saying how tired he was. Soraru couldn't help but form a small smile on his face as he looked at Mafu. Funny how one person can make me suddenly happy.

It was lunchtime, Lon was in the student council room by herself. She was looking through the papers and such when she heard the door open.

"You called us over?" Soraru said as he entered the room with Kashitaro behind him.

"Yep~ I need help."

"With what?" The brunette asked as the blonde female smiled.

"I need to give the guidance counselor the file of the school's funds but I'm still working on sorting these out so can you guys do it for me? Please~?"

"Why do the both of us have to go?" Soraru stated, "Kashi can go on his own."

"Hey! Why should I be the one to do it?"

"I need someone to do that and I need someone to hand these filled out papers to a teacher." Lon said as she got up from her seat to grab the papers.

"Can't Kashi just do both?" Soraru said in a bored tone as the brunette lightly smacked his arm.

"Don't just make me do all the work! You just want to go back to sleep!"

"Don't be so lazy Soraru~" Lon teased, "plus you know what Kuro might do if she hears that you rejected helping me."

Soraru slightly tensed up as the image of the red eyed blonde appeared in his mind. He shuddered a bit as he thought about her blackmailing him. Despite her height, she can be scary when she wants to be.

"Fine I'll help."

"Thanks~"

"So who does what?" Kashitaro asked as the blonde female handed them the papers.

"Kashi can go to the guidance counselor while Soraru can go look for the teacher." Lon said, the raven-haired looked at the paper before beginning to complain.

"Wait! I don't even know where this teacher is right now."

"You've been in this school for three years, yet you still don't know where the classrooms are." Kashitaro said in disbelief as the raven-haired glared at him.

"I don't want to hear this from the guy who constantly gets lost."

"Hey!"

"You can ask Mafu." Lon said innocently, but on the inside she was grinning.

"Why him?" Soraru questioned, "why not the others."

"Well~ Senra and Sakata aren't here, Eve is checking the classrooms to make sure things are in order. And Nqrse is busy tutoring Sou, Amatsuki and Luz."

"That only leaves Mafu available." Kashitaro stated as the raven-haired crossed his arms.

"I can just ask Urata or Shima."

"I heard a teacher had to ask them something so they're probably busy too." Kashitaro said as Soraru mentally groaned.

"What's so bad about being with Mafu?" The brunette asked the raven-haired.

"He's annoying."

"You say that but you're probably happy whenever you talk to him." Lon teasingly said as Soraru's face changed to a slightly redder hue.

"F-Fine! I'll go look for him." Soraru said in an annoyed voice as he left the room. Lon and Kashitaro laughed at the raven-haired's embarrassed expression.

"He secretly has some interest in him, he's just too much of an tsundere to admit it." Lon said as she giggled again.

"Yep, he probably doesn't even want to admit it to himself." Kashitaro said as he chuckled, the brunette then noticed the blonde female's grin. He began to feel nervous. Whenever she has that grin, that means that she's plotting something.

"So what about you and Amatsuki~"

"E-Eh?!?"

"You two have been talking and hanging out more than before~"

Kashitaro turned his head to avoid looking at the blonde female's gaze. A light red blush covered his cheeks.

"Www you and Soraru need to just hurry and accept your feelings to confess."

"And you need to stop hanging around with Kuro.

Soraru walked into the courtyard to see the albino sitting on a bench, Mafu was holding something in his hand and staring at it. Guess he's bored since the others are busy. The raven-haired walked up to him, though it seemed like Mafu didn't notice him.

"Oi."

Mafu was too busy lost in his thoughts to hear the male talk to him.

"Oi!" Soraru lightly tapped the albino's head, making Mafu jump at the sudden touch and almost drop whatever he was holding.

"E-Eh?!?— oh it's you Soraru." Mafu said as he finally noticed the male's presence.

Soraru noticed the necklace in the albino's hand. It was similar to his, but instead of a sapphire it was a bright, red ruby.

"Huh, so you decided to bring your necklace to school for once." The raven-haired stated as the albino looked away in embarrassment.

"Y-Yeah, I-I just felt like wearing it today." Mafu timidly said. After his talk with Lon yesterday, the albino decided to bring the necklace as a small charm. He had been staring at it constantly during class, Amatsuki would tease him about it.

"It matches your eyes," Soraru complimented as the albino blushed.

"A-Ah, s-so why are you here Soraru?" Mafu asked, wanting to calm down his beating heart.

"Lon wants me to hand these papers yet I don't know where the teacher is."

"Aren't they usually in the faculty room during lunch?"

"I already went to check but they weren't there. And the other teachers were busy so I couldn't ask them."

Mafu stood up and looked at the paper in the raven-haired's hand. He saw teacher's name and made a noise of realization.

"Oh! That's Luz's teacher," Mafu turned to look at the raven-haired and smiled, "I know where it is~"

The albino then noticed how close their faces were. The two males stared at each others eyes for a few seconds before Mafu looked away in embarrassment. Soraru used his the back of his hand to cover his cheeks. Why did I start to think that his eyes were cute?? The raven-haired was kinda confused at the fuzzy feeling in his chest.

"W-Well! Let's go!" Mafu quickly said as he grabbed the raven-haired's wrist and walked to the light haired male's classroom.

"O-Oi! Don't just suddenly drag me!"

The two walked to the classroom, along the way Mafu chatted with the raven-haired, who seemed annoyed but the albino managed to catch the small smile on his face. A-Ah, he looks prettier when he smiles. Mafu thought as he shyly looked down at the ground. Soraru noticed his action, he titled his head in confusion before chuckling to himself.

They found the teacher and handed them the papers. The teacher thanked them and Soraru and Mafu just continued to walk around the halls, not having anything else to do at the moment.

"Hey Soraru."

"Hm?"

"I've been curious..."

"About what?"

"Well....it's...um.....y-you made a promise with Amatsuki right?"

"Yeah, what does that have to do with anything?" Soraru looked at the albino with a puzzled expression.

"Well....um.....how's the promise going....?" Mafu felt stupid asking that, he probably won't say anything and just call me annoy—

"Our promise doesn't really matter."

"Eh?" Mafu let out a confused noise as the raven-haired crossed his arms behind his head.

"It's nothing you really have to worry about." Soraru looked at the albino, he gave him a small smile, making Mafu blush a bit.

"A-Ah, I see..." The albino wasn't sure whether he meant that the promise was over or that he shouldn't try to meddle into it.

"Why are you curious about it?" Soraru asked as Mafu tensed up.

"N-No reason, j-just curious as always."

Soraru could tell that the albino was lying, but he decided to play along and act like he didn't notice the slight nervousness in the answer.

"Of course, you're pretty nosy."

"Hey!"

Soraru chuckled as he ruffled the albino's hair. Mafu gave him an annoyed glared as he fixed his hair. His pouting face is pretty cute. The raven-haired stopped walking as the thought crossed his mind. Wait what?..... Soraru blushed, the albino noticed he stopped walking and looked back at him. Mafu titled his head, cutely in the raven-haired's perspective, in confusion.

"Soraru, are you okay? You're face is kinda red." Mafu asked in concern as the older male awkwardly laughed.

"O-Of course I'm fine." He said too quickly, making him cringe at how terrible and forced it sounded.

"Are you sure?" Mafu asked as he walked in front of the raven-haired and placed the back of his hand over Soraru's forehead, "you seem to be heating up."

Maybe if you stop being cute then I can calm down?!? Soraru mentally screamed as he removed the albino's hand.

"Maybe Sakata did end up getting me sick." He muttered to himself as the albino looked at him worriedly.

"Maybe you should head to the nurse's office if you're not feeling well."

Soraru took a few small breaths as his blush began to cool down.

"I'm fine now."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Okay then." Mafu smiled at the raven-haired, who smiled back.

The albino then noticed that the raven-haired was still holding his hand. Now Mafu's face began to heat up as he timidly looked at the ground.

"U-Um...S-Soraru..."

"Hm? Oh, sorry." Soraru said as he understood what the albino meant. He let go of Mafu's hand, I didn't even notice I was still holding his hand.

The albino held his hand close to his chest, he felt his heart begin to beat fast, h-he just grabbed my hand. I-It's not that special. The two stood in awkwardness for a few seconds before the raven-haired heard someone shout his name.

"Soraru~ Mafu~"

Both males were tackled into a hug, and the culprit was Amatsuki. The red eyed brunette was giggling as he saw their slightly annoyed expressions.

"O-Oi!"
"H-Hey Amachan!"

"Www"

"You really did run." Kashitaro said as he walked up to the three.

"I told you I was going to tackle them~"

"Yeah you did."

"So you finished your tutoring session." Mafu stated as the red eyed brunette grinned.

"Yep~ Sou went to look for Eve while Luz and Nqrse stayed in the library to finish their homework so I decided to try to find you guys~"

"He literally almost tackled me to the ground when he found me." Kashitaro added as Mafu giggled while Soraru sighed.

"Why am I not surprised?"

"Www so what about you two~?"

"I just helped Soraru hand something to a teacher." Mafu said as he began to talk to the red eyed brunette, who let go of the hug.

Kashitaro looked at the raven-haired as he gave him a knowing smirk.

"I always hated your smirk." Soraru muttered as Kashitaro's grin grew even bigger.

"I saw that earlier~" The brunette teasingly whispered.

"You better shut up in the next ten seconds or else I'll punch you."

"Www fine, only cause I don't want you to ruin my perfect face."

Soraru rolled his eyes at the brunette's comment. The four of them spent the remaining lunch period talking to one another. Mafu glanced at the raven-haired, who was talking with Kashitaro. The albino turned his attention back to Amatsuki as he inwardly smiled to himself. I hope that I can end up meaning something to him.
