Mafu kept fidgeting around as he waited for the Mafuterus to come back. Each second they weren't there made his stomach twist in fear.

"I think they're fine." Amatsuki tried to reassure the worrying albino.

"You might be right but I don't think I'll calm down until I hear it from Mafuteru."

"Their auras are calm at the moment." Lon said as she gave the albino a smile, "also, Soraru wouldn't want you to be worried."

Mafu took a deep breath and smiled at the female.

"So how are we going to fix all of this?" Eve asked the pink haired male, who nervously shrugged.

"I don't know, maybe have Yuuto given them a false memory in which they forget all of this and we lie about the king and queen's death as natural cause?"

"It kinda sounds like we're trying to manipulate others into not knowing the truth." Luz commented as Nqrse sighed.

"Yeah....but at this point I think that's the only way we can save ourselves and the kingdom."

"Ah," Mafu quickly looked at the teru teru bozu that was floating towards him, frantically asking questions.

"Mafuteru! What'd they say?! Are they okay?!? Is Soraru okay?!"

"Mafuteru found friends! Friends safe!"

The albino let out a sigh of relief, "that's good to hear."

"Tanuki, puppy, and mole friend said they had trouble but are fine now!"

"So this one went to look for Urata, Sakata and Shima." Luz said as the red eyed brunette laughed.

"If Urata finds out about what Mafuteru called him then you'd have one less teru~" Amatsuki jokingly said as the doll was smiling.

"Wait trouble?" Nqrse realized the doll's statement, a confused look in his eyes as Mafuteru nodded its head.

"Mole in danger too!"

"What do you mean Shima's in danger?" Luz worriedly asked, the other's expression turned troubled.

"Want mole gone too. Like Soraru."

"So they also want to get rid of Shima," Nqrse then pondered about it, "well, that makes sense since he's technically a prince..."

"Well, they're okay now, right? As long as they're careful then nothing bad will happen." Lon tried to reassure the others as another Mafuteru appeared.

"Anything about Soraru?" Mafu asked as the second teru smiled.

"Soraru, knight, and cat have found yellow prince!"

"They found Senra!? That's great!" Amatsuki excitedly said, "now we just have to wait for them to get here!"

"You're forgetting about Sou..." Eve reminded them, causing the red eyed brunette to smile apologetically.

"They're looking for him!"

Eve felt the fear that was bubbling in him finally leave his body as he smiled. Though there was still a lingering sense of doubt in the back of his mind.

"Thanks Mafuterus," Mafu said as the two dolls smiled, "now go back to and follow them to make sure they stay safe."

"Mafuteru has second news!" The first Mafuteru spoke again, "Mole's friend also enemy!"

"Wait, Riku?" Eve said as the doll nodded its head.

"Forced to work with bad guys!"

The mushroom-haired male frowned slightly. That isn't good....could that have something to do with Sou disappearing?

"Is that all?" Mafu inquired as the two terus nodded their heads, "okay then, please make sure everyone is safe."

The two Mafuterus nodded their heads again and started to head back to the others. Mafu then looked at the mushroom-haired male.

"Eve, are you okay?"

Eve sheepishly rubbed his arm, "I'm just worried that they might not find Sou. If Riku's in on this then...who's to say they aren't forcing Sou too?"

"B-But we know that the both of them don't want to so they're definitely trying to find a way out." Amatsuki said as the male smiled.

"Yeah, it's just a bit worrisome," Eve said as he looked at Luz, "especially since they can control you guys."

"Ah, that's right," Lon's face changed into a concerned one, "we have the items to prevent that but if they took it off Sou then it's possible."

"Well let's find him!" Amatsuki was about to leave until Mafu stopped him.

"If we go back, there's the chance that we'll get caught while doing so." Lon stated as the albino nodded his head in agreement.

"The others might be able to find him, right?" Luz asked as the pink haired male shrugged.

"That's what we're hoping for."

"Isn't there a way to sense his aura or something?" Amatsuki asked, "I mean if we're able to do it for the others so why not Sou?"

"It's more like something's preventing us from doing so," Nqrse said, his eyes shifting to Eve for a short second before back at the others, "so there might be a chance that we're too late."

"So all we can really do is play the waiting game and hope that he's fine." Mafu asked for clarification, the pink haired male just nodded his head.

"I know we're trying our best but do you guys really think we'll able to fix everything to how it was before?" Luz asked, a small feeling of doubt in his mind.

"Obviously we can't bring the king and queen back, and that means that they need to have a new ruler." Nqrse turned his gaze towards the albino, "because of that Soraru would have to be the king earlier than expected."

"At least they'd have someone reliable." Lon said with a smile while the red eyed brunette laughed a bit.

"Can they really rely on someone that sleeps and plays games most of his time?"

"Though once Soraru becomes king then we wouldn't be able to see him much," Eve turned to look at all of them, "he'd be too busy and he'd no longer be able to stay in the human world."

"Can't they get someone trustworthy to fill his spot for a while?" Luz asked before shaking his head, "though it'd be hard to know if they might have anything bad in mind."

"Well they'll have Soraru and Mafu rule together so you don't have to worry about being separated from your boyfriend~" Amatsuki teased the albino, who just pushed him away in annoyance.

"That is if they agree with that..."

"Eh?" Mafu tilted his head with a concerned look on his face, "what do you mean by that?"

Nqrse gave him a small, pitied smile, "the king and queen approved of you guys but who's to say that others will...especially with how your family was technically exiled for...reasons..."

"O-Oh...r-right..." the albino looked down at the ground in slight discomfort. They might make Soraru marry someone else...

"We can just have Yuuto or someone make them change their mind." Amatsuki suggested to cheer up the albino, "or at least have him fake marry Lon just so the kingdom doesn't say anything while you secretly date him."

"And then have the possibility of more people hating us if they find out," Lon said in slight amusement, Mafu just looked at Amatsuki with an expressionless gaze.

"At least it sounded like a good idea." The red eyed brunette said as he sheepishly laughed.

"It's fine," Mafu looked at them with determination, "no matter what Soraru will always be there for me, and I'll be there for him!"

"That's the spirit Mafu~"

The albino jumped when he heard the teal-haired's voice. Yuuto just giggled while Nqrse rose his eyebrow.

"Since when did you get here?"

"Just now~" Yuuto smiled as he hugged Eve, "Eve~ I'm sorry~ I couldn't find Sou~"

"It's okay," Eve sheepishly patted the male's head.

"Though I think Soraru might end up finding him."

"Eh? What makes you say that?" Lon asked as the teal-haired shifted his eyes away.

"Well, mostly because I'm kinda worried that they might just let that happen."

"What do you mean?" Nqrse then slowly realized, "you think they might be using Sou as bait to get Soraru?"

Yuuto just stayed silent, yet the worried look in his eyes answered the male's question.

"T-Then we have to go back and make sure Soraru's safe!" Amatsuki exclaimed before Luz shook his head.

"We just barely escaped without getting caught, the number of guards are increasing, even guest are starting to look for us, and you want to go back?"

"Soraru's probably smart enough to know to be cautious, especially since we're dealing with illusions." Mafu stated as the pink haired male nodded his head.

Nqrse then looked at Yuuto, "have you seen Hana?"

The male just shook his head, "but it's Hana, I'm sure she'll manage to find the others eventually."

"For now we're safe here," Luz said as the teal-haired pressed his finger against his cheek in a pondering pose.

"Though wouldn't it be better if you guys waited back at Shima's house? At least they can't make a portal going there since they've never really been to it."

"That's....true," Eve looked at the others with a smile, "okay then I'll just make the portal, you guys go and I'll stay here for the others."

"Please be careful Eve." Lon said as the mushroom haired smiled.

"I'll protect Eve so don't worry~" Yuuto cheerfully said as Nqrse playfully rolled his eyes.

"Having you as a bodyguard seems like a bad idea."

Yuuto pouted, "what's that suppose to mean?"

Eve closed his eyes and muttered the chant to summon the portal, he looked at the them with a hopeful look.

"Let's hope the others make it safe."

They entered the portal before Eve made it disappear. He glanced at the teal-haired who was pondering about something.

"This all seemed too easy that I'm kinda worried..."

Eve just stayed silent as he looked back at the castle through the broken windows of the rundown building. I....think so too....

Soraru looked around behind the corner of the wall, slightly annoyed at seeing constant guards. Why are there so many in this area all of the sudden?

"It'll be hard to get by them," Kashitaro stated as the raven-haired turned his head to look at him, "even if we sneaked by there's the possibility of being caught."

"You'd think we were closer to the exit," Kuro said as she was perched on Kashitaro's shoulder, "but this whole castle suddenly turned into a maze. I didn't even recognize some hallways from the last time we came here."

"Obviously they'd make illusions to try to throw us off. Thank god Soraru and Senra have the pendants so it's easier to find Sakata and know where we're going."

"And Nqrse and Lon can also sense us if we're closer." Senra said before gesturing to the cloak around him, "though do you think this would actually help hide me?"

"Nope," Soraru casually said as the blonde gave him a dumbfounded look.

"Then why am I even wearing it?"

"It's more so you can't get tracked by anyone," Kuro puffed out her chest in proudness, "thanks to my magic that I put on it."

"You were complaining about being a cat earlier and now you're boasting about it." Kashitaro crossed his arms as Kuro glared at him.

"Let me have my moment of happiness!"

"Okay they left, we can go," Soraru said as they walked around the corner, down the hall until Senra bumped into someone.

Please don't be a guard. Please don't be a guard. He looked and sighed in relief to see it was Hana.

"Oh thank god you're safe Senra!" Hana hugged the blonde, "I was ready to murder just about everyone just to find you."

"Is that something you should say out loud?"

"I thought you'd be with Yuuto or something," Soraru stated as the pink haired female sighed.

"I was for a while before he decided to go ahead, though now he's with Eve at that old building." Hana smiled at the raven-haired, "Sakata made it there with the other two, all that's left is you guys."

Soraru felt like he could breathe again after hearing that the redhead was safe. Senra smiled before noticing something that Hana was holding.

"Eh? What's that?"

Hana smiled as she held it carefully, "it's a little potion I made, I did the best I could to make sure it has a strong effect."

"What does it do?" Kuro curiously asked as the other female nervously smiled.

"It's....technically a forbidden potion, but there's no reason to play by the rules at this point," Hana handed it to the raven-haired, "it's...something that kills you—"

"Why would you make something like that?!" Kuro exclaimed in shock as Hana sighed.

"Can you let me finish taking first?"

"Sorry."

"It temporarily kills you while also making sure you don't actually die. It's more to fool anyone if things get too tough."

"So use it only when absolutely necessary," Hana gave Soraru a stern look, "a small drop is suffice enough but if you constantly use it then it'll actually start slowly killing you."

"Basically Soraru can fake his death and people wouldn't be able to say it's a lie?" Senra said in a confused tone as Hana nodded her head.

Soraru stared at the small bottle before putting it away. Let's hope I don't have to use it. The thought of being dead for a short moment sent shivers down his spine.

"Now we just have too—"

The five of them felt themselves suddenly fall through a hole in the ground, when they got up they saw that they were at the building.

"Yay it worked~" Yuuto cheerfully said as the mushroom-haired gave them an apologetic look.

"Couldn't have made the fall a bit softer?" Kashitaro asked as Soraru and Senra got up before being tackled by something.

"Niichan! Sen-chan! You guys are safe~"

Sakata looked at the two with a big grin on his face. The other two quickly hugged the male, happy that they were together again.

"Sakata didn't want to go until he saw that you guys were here." Urata stated as the purple-haired chuckled.

"And Urata didn't want to leave without Sakata~"

"Oi."

Senra perked up, immediately letting go of the redhead and tackling the purple-haired, burying his face in his neck.

"Shima....I...I was worried..."

Shima returned the hug, happy to hold the blonde, happy to see that he was back at his side.

"So we're all safe," Hana then paused and rubbed her arm, "well, almost all..."

"Sou..." Eve looked down at the ground, growing even more worried.

"What about Riku?" Shima said, he sheepishly looked away from the other's gaze, "I-I mean, he isn't....really to blame..."

"If you think about it," Senra looked at the mushroom-haired, "I think Sou might be fine, if they want Riku to 'willingly' help then they know they shouldn't do anything to Sou."

"T-That...." Eve thought about how that might be the case, but at the same time he was still worried.

"So are we just going to leave the two here?" Kuro asked as Eve, Hana and Yuuto looked at each other with puzzled eyes.

"Going back to find him would be dangerous..." Hana said as the teal-haired nodded his head.

"And if they already have him, there might be a chance that we'd fall for a trap."

Eve sighed, "....it's best if we return home and go over what we should exactly do before going to rescue them."

"Eve...." Soraru shifted his eyes away, "I'm sorry...."

"It's fine Soraru," the male smiled, "plus it's not yours or anyone's fault. The ones to blame would be Haru."

"And Maya..." Senra added as he continued to hug the purple-haired male.

"So we really are going to leave them..." Kashitaro stated as the short brunette let out a sigh.

"We don't really have a choice," Urata said in a worried tone as Eve made the portal.

They headed in it, Soraru glanced back at the castle before shifting his gaze at Eve.

Don't worry Eve, we'll save him eventually.

And we'll try to save the kingdom too.
