Judging by the title of this little chapter, I do bring unfortunate news for this particular fanfic. I have made the decision to discontinue this book.

I have a few reasons for this.

1| I do not have any motivation for continuing this story. I had quite the amount of motivation when I started this back in February, I was excited to start this book. But as time went on and how much the RWBY community has been, my motivation began to quickly diminish. I'm just not having fun anymore when it comes to writing this.

2| The RWBY show. I know, the current writers for RWBY are trying their best to make it good as much as possible. But the recent volumes haven't been enjoyable to me. Sure, there were some fun moments sprinkled in, like when Emerald decided to work with Ruby and her friends, or when Penny was remade into a human, but honestly, I've been quite bored of it. The ideas I've had for the upcoming volumes when I continued to watch it just weren't coming to mind.

3| A possible rewrite is in mind. Going back through the previous chapters, I've thought to myself that they could've been written better, which is something writers say when they plan to rewrite a book. I don't mind some of the moments I've written, as I think they were good, but looking back through some sections of my chapters, I've felt some of them were a bit rushed, some were a bit confusing, or just felt that the chapter could've been written in an entirely different approach. However, like I said with my High School DxD fic, I don't know when the rewrite will happen. As of now, I have no plan to release a rewrite as like I said in the first two reasons, I don't have motivation to write anything RWBY related, and I haven't been having fun in writing chapters or watching the show. I'd rather not force myself to write a chapter that will end up coming out as half-assed and shitty, and rather give you a chapter that is good, high quality, and enjoyable to read. A chapter may take a hell of a long time to complete, but I want you readers to be satisfied with a readable product that makes the wait all the more enjoyable to read. So, a rewrite will come, but it'll be a long time from now. Perhaps when my motivation and enjoyment returns, I will do a rewrite for this, but as of right now, I just can't really write a RWBY story. It's honestly just isn't enjoyable for me and I can't bring myself to actually write a chapter.

I apologize that this update wasn't the one you were waiting for. But I'm just not interested in writing a RWBY story at the moment. 

I thank you for reading this announcement, and I'm deeply sorry if you are all left with disappointment. I want to be able to write a story that is enjoyable to you all, and the chapters that are given to you will be satisfying to read. But I cannot provide such things for this fanfic.

Once again, I'm sorry if you are left with disappointment due to the decision I've made. But I will write a rewrite, just not right now. If you are waiting for the rewrite, please be patient for it.
