I sit cuddled against Alan and Jackson, their heads nuzzled into my abdomen. I rub my finger through their hair as I star into the small TV, watching my favorite show of all time.

My phone buzzes on the kitchen granite behind me as I feel bad by waking them up to check it. I weave my way silently and carefully around them as I become loose to check it. A message was on lock screen from Travis.

Travis: Hey. Wyd?

I roll my eyes as I respond, making my way back into the comfort of my brothers on the small sofa.

Katelyn: Nothing much, just watching TV with my bros. What's up?

Travis: Just chillin'.
Travis: Sooooo...

Katelyn: So...

Travis: What's been going on besides watching your emo television?

Katelyn: It's not emo!! It's once upon a time. It's freaking Disney. And nothing much. Still shooken up from a party some days ago.

Travis: Yeah, yeah. Say what you want.
Travis: And same. Some fraternity at my college hosted a graduation party for the seniors. It was kind of overwhelming.

Katelyn: Heh, I attended one too even though I'm out of that prison. A senior friend of mine invited me.

Travis: Meet any guys there that caught your interest? ;)

Katelyn: Eh. My old crush/best friend was there but we barely talked. There was a guy who looked cute but we didn't really have a conversation.
Katelyn: It was short lived.
Katelyn: What about you? Find any lovely ladies?

Travis: Ah. Well... there was one girl in particular. I didn't really get to know her, though. We didn't talk much.

Katelyn: Hmm... Well did you get her number?

Travis: No. Wbu?

Katelyn: Same :/. But it's not like I'm ever going to see the person again...

Travis: Fate works in strange ways, Katey.

Katelyn: I don't believe it for a second.

Travis: I believe it.

Katelyn: Sure you do. This coming from the guy who complains about never talking to people he finds cool or interesting. Step up one time! Ask for something, a kiss, a number, anything! Then I'll believe it, okay?

Travis: I should be saying the same to you.
Travis: But hey, at least I got your number 😏😉

Katelyn: Lol. Technically, I was giving it to Aphmau when you happened to find it.
Katelyn: But still, you're cool to talk to even if it was by mistake.

Travis: Irene knew if I didn't get it from Aph, I would never have gotten it.im glad to have gained your trust, though.

Katelyn: Your building your way up to it, but I don't just trust anyone ya know. The only people online that I can really rely on includes Nicole and Aphmau. You stand a chance, just not... yet.

Travis: Well, Kate, what can I do to gain even more?

Katelyn: You can start by being less of a pervert because whenever we are chatting with the group on MC, you talk about feeling butts. Second, I dunno... try getting to know me better as a real person.

Travis: Is it so bad to love the feeling of a lady's butt? Well then, tell me more about yourself so I can get to know you.

Katelyn: Well... For starters I have five brothers and we all share two apartments. I live in Phoenix Drop... Um... I have blue eyes I guess... I'm an orphan since my parents both passed and my old foster family was super terrible which is why I have horrible trust issues. Aside from personal stuff, I adore chocolate, ice cream, and cake. I got a huge sweet tooth."
Katelyn: Enough about me... What about your life?

Travis: Phoenix Drop? Really?
Travis: I just so happen to be finishing college at PDU.

Katelyn: Sweet!! You know Aph goes there... She's been talking my ear off about how we need to meet in the city since she is moving out. I also went there but ended two years in because of finances. Anyways, continue.

Travis: That's great! We may have to meet up at some point in time. Just the three of us.

Travis: Well... I have green eyes. Like I said, Im finishing up college. My old roommate is a complete bitch who is also an alcoholic; it's how I was brought to the party. I never knew my father, but my mother passed around the time I was a teenager, and I don't have any siblings. My aunt and uncle brought me in until I went to college. And that really brings us up to date.

Travis: I also like sour candy and peaches 🍑

Katelyn: Omfi Travis😑. I actually need to go kill my brother since he is being an asshole (and leave you with your butts). We can talk more later if you wanna. Ttyl!!

Katelyn: Oh my Irene... Bye.

I giggle aloud a little as I shut my phone off, watching Emma and Hook kiss passionately. It brings me memories back from the party as I rest my arm on the armrest, thinking about my new friend.
