Amai.

Amai's POV
"Yes, my daughter will certainly do that." I hear my dad say over the phone in the living room as I hide behind the wall of our kitchen.

Is he really going to do this again?  I shake in fear as the memories come back to me.

My mother snatches the phone from him.

"No! She certainly will not!" She yells through the phone and hangs up.

"What's wrong? Like mother, like daughter, right? You both can be sluts now." He smiles devilishly.

"Please! Don't do this." She pleads.

My mother and father are together but they don't love each other. Sometimes I wonder if I was just a mistake. Their marriage is signed by a contract where both their companies will help each other out. Apart from being a head chief, my dad also runs a company. My mom is always nice but she's been nicer to me ever since the incident when I was 13 years old.

"Dad, where are you taking me?" I ask as we are in an abandoned alleyway.

"Dad? Who are these people?" I say as men surround us.

"Just shut up and don't ask questions." He says something I never thought I would hear him say.

"So this is the fresh meat, you promised us?" One of the men say.

"Dad, what's going on?" I say as one of them grab me and start to undress me.

"Dad!" I cry and reach out to him as he just stands there. Staring at me with no emotion in his eyes.

After they are done, a car pulls up and out comes my mother.

"What the fuck were you thinking!" She says as she slaps my father while the money falls out of his hands.

I cry and shake as I stare at my clothes which are torn to pieces. My mother quickly runs up to me and covers me with her jacket.

"I'm so sorry honey. If only I was here sooner." She cries into my shoulders as I feel nothing but numbness and pain.

The rest of my life was nothing but therapists, medicine and hospital visits. Luckily I was never pregnant. My mother tried to get rid of the contract but couldn't. She filed a police report. They captured the men but no, not my father. He being the Head Chief cleared his name. I was angry that my mother had to deal with him.

My mother tried her best to cheer me up. Bought me anything I wanted. I would always fake a smile and stay away from men from then on. I even realized that I started to like girls more. Of course, I got bullied for it but my mom was very supportive of it. I was happy when my mom had fallen in love with another man but when my dad found out, he hit her. He abused her. He was angry. He even sent out to get that man killed which made my mom depressed for days. We planned to run away but he found us in two days.Trying not to make his reputation look bad. He beat the both of us that time. Well now, I'm trying my best to move out now with my mother so we're both working hard.

I walk out of the house through the back door for a walk. I suddenly bump into my beloved.

"Hinata!" I smile at her.

"Amai." She gives her gentle smile at me which causes my heart to beat.

Well now that she's here, there's no reason to be sad anymore.

"What are you doing out so late?" She asks me.

"Just going for a walk." I laugh.

"You're so weird, Amai." She says.

I feel like my ego has been struck until she says:

"But I like that about you." She smiles.

"Hinata!" My eyes water as I hug her.

"A-Amai!" She says as she sighs but hugs me back.

She smells so nice.

I let go and ask her if she want's to spend the rest of the night together. Of course she takes it the wrong way.

"Not like that silly, I mean would you like to hang out? I mean unless dog breath is waiting for you." I pout.

"Oh come on, don't be so mean to Kiba." She says.

"Hai. Hai." I like teasing her.

We ended up walking around and looking through many stores. Trying on stuff and I've never had so much fun in my life.

I think I finally smiled. Not a fake one. A real one for the first time in forever.

"Amai! Don't cry. I'm sorry I said it doesn't look nice!" She says wiping my tears with her gentle hands.

"So mean, Hinata." I say as I take her hand and pull her into the dressing room.

"Amai?" She blushes.

I pin her to the wall and kiss her soft lips.

"That was your punishment." I smirk.

"Geez." Hinata said covering her lips with a blushed face.

"Well, wait for me outside. I'm going to change." I say as she nods and steps outside.

I take off the clothes and look at my body in the mirror.

So many scars and bruises.

I sigh and suddenly the dressing room curtain opens.

"You forget your-Amai." Hinata says looking at my body up and down.

"D-Don't look." I say as I cover my disgusting body.

She just steps in closer.

"I said "Don't look!" " I put on my clothes quickly and run out the dressing room and leave the store.

I run so much that I don't even bother to look where I'm going. I ended up getting lost in an unknown street in Tokyo. That was lit up by lavender lanterns.

"Great." I say to myself as I hide in an dark alleyway of a drug store.

I'm cold. I forgot my cellphone and I don't know where the hell I am.

"I'm so pathetic." I say as I slide down the brick wall.

I cry into my knees.

"No, you're not."

I hear her voice.

"Hinata." I say looking up to her.

"You forgot your bag." She says handing my bag to me.

"T-Thanks." I say taking it from her.

She suddenly sits down next to me and puts an arm around me as she pulls me closer to her.

"I don't know, what happened back there but I want you to know no matter how many scars you have, I will accept every one of them. You are beautiful, Amai. With or without them." She says.

I suddenly feel tears forming in my eyes, as I try to stop myself she tells me:

"Go ahead, cry. I can tell you've been holding it in for so long. I'll hear you out. So don't hold it in anymore." She says as she holds onto my shoulders and looks me in my eyes.

"Hinata.."

And I did. I ended up crying like a little baby. I cried and cried. I attracted many stares but they passed us. She held onto me. She stayed by me and her hug was as she was telling me "I'll never let go." I cried so hard that I felt so pathetic but she was there. Smiling at me with her gentle smile. She gave me so many tissues. I poured out every goddamn feeling I've had in my heart. We ended up telling our pasts to each other.

"You can live with Kiba and I." She said.

"But I can't leave my mother." I said wiping my eyes.

"You won't have too, she can live with us too!" Hinata smiled.

"You really mean that?" I say.

"Of course. Besides your dad isn't the only one who is a head chief." She says.

"What do you mean?" I say.

"Let's just say, I know someone who is also in the police force and possibly a higher rank then your dad." She winked.

A few hours had passed and my father had finally gotten arrested. I've never seen my mom thank anyone enough. Hinata, of course was happy that she could help. I thanked her too. My mom ended up meeting that man again. He was the man, Hinata was talking about. Apparently they met when she had broken up with Sasuke. Apparently he had secretly been waiting for my mom this whole time too. Observing her and gathering evidence to help us out. I've never seen my mother more happier in my life. But I will never forget...

Hinata taking my hand as we walked out of that dark alley to the streets full of lavender lanterns. In that moment, I didn't like lavender anymore. I loved it.
