Ch 20: A Day of Pure Beauty

THIRD POV
AOI, THE WOMAN WITH iris colored hair and soft, rose colored, eyes was, is, a happy and content woman. She married the love of her life and gave birth to two beautiful children. She never imagined her life to turn out so perfect, but it did.
But it also didn't.
Her life as a young girl wasn't much. She was the sole daughter of her own family. She had a mother who worked too much at the hospital, always healing others. Her father died when she was young. So, she grew up with a mother who always worked and that left a lot of emptiness, a lot of loneliness.
Aoi was always a quiet child, caring and kind, but quiet. She never had friends until she got her Genin team. It was a sole Kunoichi team, made up of herself, Mikoto Uchiha, and Kushina Uzumaki.
Those two were the opposite of Aoi Kiyomi, strong and confident. She was more on the softer side, she was dubbed as the team's Medic Nin. Though, that's what gave her purpose. She became one of the most talented medical ninjutsu Kunoichi. Of course, right after Tsunade-sama.
The team was her chance to blossom, and she did. After mastering the control of the medical arts, she started to train in her kekkei genkai, Shizen'noishi. She trained and trained and trained. Eventually, with each waking day, her quiet demeanor evolved into a beautiful flower of confidence.
Though, without her friends that make up the Kunoichi team, she was always met with an empty house. No matter how much she trained, or how much she grew from her quiet and shy demeanor, it never prepared her for the loneliness she met as soon as she entered her home. The bitter silence that suffocated the four walls always ate at her heart, clutching it with its cold, and cruel, grip.
Aoi yearned for the warm, motherly hugs and kisses, she craved to walk in to the scent of homecooked meals, she wished for the simple, yet loving, good mornings and good nights. However, no matter how many stars she wished upon, she knew the reality, her mother was, and will, always be busy at the hospital. Then, finally, no matter how many tears she silently shed, she would have to accept that her wishes will go unheard of.
Fortunately, things did change for her. Or maybe her wishes came true, but not in the form of her mother, but in the form of a boy with an awkwardly cute smile.
Aoi knew him as the head of the clan's only son, Ren Kiyomi. He was always seen with his own best friend, Fugako Uchiha. Though, unlike the Uchiha, Ren wasn't arrogant. Yes, he was skilled and that gained him a lot of admirers. But nonetheless, he was awkward, kind, smart, and at times fierce. He always greeted everyone with a warm smile and he was always heard babbling some facts or strategies.
When they had their first interaction, it was nothing but kind smiles and flustered faces. He awkwardly babbled at the chances of rookies passing the Chunin Exams, naming all the statistics while she listened to everything.
Their next interaction wasn't quite as nice, Sunagakure in the place where the second part of the Chunin Exams took place, they fought against each other. Shizen'noishi versus Shizen'noishi. Luckily, it was Aoi who won with a simple kick to the face, of course after they exhausted their chakra networks. With that advantage, she gained his team's 'secret scroll'.
Their third interaction was all apologetic smiles and nonchalant congratulating. Though, she did heal the bruises that she gave him. From then on out, a friendship flowered, and blossomed with each act of kindness.
For years they were friends, but soon their kind smiles and nonchalant touches turned to something more.
When Ren gave her a smile, her heart skipped a beat and soared. When she felt his soft touches on her arms or shoulders, her cheeks would blaze on fire, almost as if the sun were kissing them. When he gave her compliments, Aoi's mind would blank into a gushing mess. However each word he uttered, they would glue themselves into her heart. She remembered every word, every sentence as they gave her life. Eventually, she found herself falling from the reality around her and into the arms of the male Kiyomi, he became like her personal cloud nine.
He was the wishes that she uttered upon the stars.
He was a dream come true.
He became the comfort she yearned endlessly for.
She noticed his faults and acknowledged how he wasn't perfect, but she still craved to stand by his side.
Yup, she was utterly and ridiculously in love, and there was no going back.
Though, Aoi's happines didn't end there, no because after years her teammates became like sisters. They would tease her about how she loves the Kiyomi boy, but she would return the favor by teasing them about Fugako and Minato. Well, when she did, she was unfortunately always met with Kushina's brutal punches or Mikoto's sharp Uchiha glare. They were always laughing, gossiping, and sometimes they would, yet rarely, fight. But wasnt that what sisters do?
The building relationship of the two Kiyomis would progress as they grew older. Fleeting glances turned to hesitant and flustered touches. Blushing faces turned into loving gazes of crimson roses. Kind compliments evolved to teasing remarks, pushing the other to their limits by flirting. Sweet conversations would progress to deep heartfelt talks that would last for hours. And small moments between training and missions grew up to romantic, and enchanting, dates.
And eventually, he ended up proposing to her when they were eighteen. She instantly accepted with tears happily spilling from her eyes, and a large enough grin to numb her cheeks.
The day after, she instantly ran towards her surrogate sisters and showed them the ring on her left hand. A thin golden band that had a vinelike band twisting around it, and a ruby diamond in the center, acting as a rose. They awe'd and congratulated her, well that's before teasing her with innuendos.
It wasn't long until Mikoto and Fugaku followed after them, becoming engaged. Then, Kushina and Minato.
Getting married was the best day of her life, or that was until she became pregnant with their first child. Ren was like any committed, and becoming father, excited, stressed, and a bit scared. It was an extremely exciting, yet really stressing nine months.
At the end, They finally introduced the newest member of their family, Ranko Kiyomi. The Orchid Child of Pure Beauty.
However, as happy as her life has been, it didn't last long. Because by the year Kushina became pregnant with her first, Mikoto already gave birth to her first child, Itachi Uchiha, and was awaiting another; Aoi, was shortly due for her second child as well. That year, it went by too fast and none of them were ready to lose a third of their team, a third of their small sisterly bond.
The night Kushina Uzumaki gave birth, Aoi not only lost her comrade, her best friend, and sister; No, she lost her mother as well when the Nine Tails attacked the village. Yes, her mother's loss hit her hard, but it was the loss of the redhead that crushed her. It felt like a part of her died that night, too.
The days after were the cruelest because when she look around, she always expected to find the loud Uzumaki. She always told herself to find the brilliant red haired beauty that was her sister. She told herself to listen for the boisterous laughter that made up Kushina Uzumaki. However, when she couldn't find her dearest best friend, she immediately remembered that the woman will never be around again. It felt like a harsh stab to the heart, it felt like dying.
She never forgot her sister, not even when she was busy raising her own kids. Though, on some days when she took Ranko to the Academy or went to the market, a kid who looked like a replica of Minato, brought the mourning memories back. She knew him as Naruto Uzumaki, and when the villagers mistreated him, she would go out of her way to help him. She would heal his cuts and scrapes. She would talk to him, treat him as if he were her own child. She would give him money, or buy him food or buy whatever he wanted for him. But as Naruto reminded her of the late Hokage, she only saw Kushina in him. The large grin, the catchphrase, his personality, it was all Kushina, and that hit her with nostalgia and melancholy.
But just as Aoi was beginning to accept the loss of a sister, she was met with another, unprepared tragedy. When news of the Uchiha Massacre reached her, she was quick to fall on her knees. Her body was filled with heartbreak as another piece of her soul shattered.
Her memories of the raven haired beauty only caused her to die in the inside. Shared smiles and laughter rang loudly in her ears, making tears fill her rose colored eyes. The scent of lilies always made her look up and search for her sister, but at the lack of the Uchiha, Aoi only felt her heart sink. Mikoto was the only friend and sister she had left, but at the sudden loss, it felt like Aoi's world was falling apart. She would wish, and wish, that it was only a nightmare. That she hadn't lost her only sister. That she didn't lose her best friend, not again. That it was only a cruel, twisted, joke.
Oh, she wished and she begged, but the longer she went without seeing Mikoto, she was met with the harsh reality, again.
And on days she walked Riko to the Academy, she saw the sole Uchiha survivor. The wave of heart shattering loss hit her again because the boy had the face of his mother. She saw Mikoto in him, just like she saw Kushina in Naruto. With their children, she saw her best friends.
And with that realization, she smiled.
I'll look after them, she thought, looking towards the clouds. For the both of you, my sisters.

RANKO SAT IN a remote area, filled with trees and a cliff at the edge of the clearing, all while looking up at the night sky. Below, several feet, was a raging river that flowed quickly, no matter the time of year. It was a spot that holds dear memories, but it also held a bitter tragedy. He took after his mother, he was kind and quiet, but he also had a passion to protect those closest to him. Though, as he protected, it didn't mean that he always succeeded.
And, it was those who were dear to him that he lost.
He can remember when it all started, a day Ranko will always cherish. He was a youngster by then, at the age of six he entered the Academy. To everyone, he was always considered a prodigy, but he never saw it like that. Yes, he managed to grasp the educational content a bit quicker and cultivated physical skills a lot faster, but it didn't mean that he was a genius, or whatever. He was only able to do that because his father always talked statistics and strategies, he just listened. For the techniques, well that was just basic training.
Well, anyways, on one particular day he was walking the Academy corridors while his nose was stuck in a book he was currently reading. A simple book about strategic evasive maneuvering. It was filled with details on how to notice traps, how to confuse the chaser, to cover your tracks, everything about leaving no trace.
But just as he was walking, he bumped, well more like crashed, into someone else. It was hard enough to make both people fall to the ground with a grunt. Dropping their books, they looked up.
Crimson rubies clashed with midnight ink.
In that moment, Ranko felt his heart bloom. His mind filled with daydreams of starry skies. He finally understood what his mother said about falling. Oh, he fell, and he was falling with open arms.
Never in his young life has he felt like he had in that moment. Not a single girl in his year made him feel like he was floating with the stars. No one, not until he clashed eyes with Itachi Uchiha.
He stuttered an apology as his face resembled the petals of red tulips. However, he was only met with a kind smile in return. Their small interaction only progressed as they noticed each other's books. They acknowledged each other's intelligence, but as they were smart, they didn't boast.
From then on, they carried a friendship. Ranko was smart enough to know that his feelings weren't traditional, so he kept them to himself. He was smart enough to know that the Uchiha only wanted a friend, but that never stopped him from developing feelings. He just respected himself and Itachi enough to keep his feelings inside, and not force them onto the latter.
But as he witnessed Izumi Uchiha smile and befriend Itachi, it pained him too much. However, he never became bitter and sabotaged the girl, he just endured it with a warm smile. No, he just kept his jealousy to himself. He jealous of the girl. He envied how she can express her feelings without being judged or berated for being different, her feelings were normal.
Ranko expressed his feelings silently. He expressed them by always being by Itachi's side. By being a caring and devoted friend. By giving kind smiles and praising comments. By listening to his concerns and advising when he had problems. He expressed them by being what he needed, his friend.
But soon their academy life came to a sudden change when the bullies attacked them. They acted quickly, with strategy, as they successfully evaded the assault. Though, their clones took care of the bullies. It was then when the Accademy moved them to the graduating class. At the age of seven, they both graduated and gained their teams. They were seperated as Itachi got placed on Team Two, and Ranko on Team Six.
Although, separated, they didn't fall out of friendship, in fact they grew closer. Every moment when they weren't with their official teams, they met up. They trained to their heart's content. They discussed their missions. They became rivals, pushing and supporting each other to their limits.
That's when Ranko eventually met his other friend, Shisui Uchiha. The older boy was kind to Ranko, and almost instantly the Kiyomi had felt the brotherly bond.
However, as the trio's bond progressed, Ranko witnessed Itachi's first heartbreak. It was when they were eight, and the Uchiha had barely gotten back from a failed mission. His team was attacked as they were escorting the Fire Daimyo by a masked Nin. He gained the Sharingan when he witnessed his teammate, Tenma Izumo, get killed. His other teammate, Shinko Inari, quit being a Shinobi right after that.
But as Itachi was praised for gaining his Sharingan, Ranko remembered that they only gain it while experiencing powerful emotions in regards to person precious to them. Ranko instantly pulled Itachi into a hug and told him to let it all out, to release his pent up emotions. They stayed in an embrace for hours while the Uchiha cried.
That's when Ranko decided that he never wanted to witness the boy he deeply cared for to cry ever again, not a single tear. He wished upon the stars he loved very much, for the Uchiha to never feel heartbreak. To never feel sadness.
Because when he witnessed Itachi turn sad, his heart broke. He wanted nothing, but to assure him that everything will be alright. He yearned to make him feel better, but he can only do so much as a friend. It internally ripped him to shreds when he witnessed such sadness in the Uchiha's midnight eyes. His eyes were supposed to shine with the stars, not dull to a shade of coal. They were supposed to light up with life, not cry with grief.
Ranko, while he wanted to spend time with Itachi, he had his own duties, his own responsibilities. Team Six became the best in the village after the disembarkment of Team Two, landing them important missions. Although, when they were deemed important, they were also dangerous. Just like the Uchiha's team, Ranko's two other teammates were older than him.
The Kunoichi was sweet, friendly, but she sure packed a fierce punch. Though, she was even more skilled with a pair of broad swords. The other male Shinobi was confident, welcoming, but also merciless. His strength was impeccable, but his water ninjutsu was his real trump card.
Unfortunately, even with Ranko's strategic skills, they never forsaw the unexpected ambush. They were on their way to retrieve a scroll when it happened. Usually ambushes happen once they obtain the scrolls, but in this situation it didn't. The sudden explosion killed the Kunoichi, Fumi Usagi, instantly on impact. Her body exploding, tearing itself apart with the blast, before raining in a littered mess. In an angry speil, Hisao Chen, rushed without instruction and attacked with his water jutsu. It was then that Ranko tried to plan multiple strategies, but everything was moving too fast. His mind too slow. He wasn't quick enough. He froze.
And it wasn't until his last comrade's blood was splattering on his skin when he reacted. With angry tears in his ruby eyes, Ranko didn't hesitate to kill them all, making the limbs of trees to tear them apart.
It wasn't until his sensei, who separated at the beginning to dispose of any rogues, returned, to realize that he was crying. While he looked deadly, Ranko was feeling like he was the one who died. He was blaming himself for being too slow. He was thinking and thinking of every possibility that went wrong. The 'what it's were consuming his mind. He kept apologizing, saying sorry for everything.
When he returned home, he spent his time training and training, trying to prepare for every wrong possibility. Trying to steel himself from the guilt. He tried to sharpen his mind, wanting to think faster, quicker. He wanted to be ready.
But he was never ready.
Because when the years went by, Itachi and Ranko became Chunin at the age of ten. Then, with the skills they've acquired over time, they successfully progressed into Anbu by age thirteen.
They were always together, if you saw one, the other wasn't far behind. Their friendship become one of a closer extent. And as he grew older, Ranko accepted his feelings for Itachi, even if they were viewed as wrong. Itachi's kind smiles caused him to melt in the inside, practically becoming a mess of fumbled emotions. Ranko admired Itachi's mind and how he viewed the world, he wanted to achieve peace; And Ranko thought, if anyone could achieve peace it would be Itachi. Then, at times, the Kiyomi would lose himself as he gazed at the Uchiha, finding the latter completely handsome and beautiful.
To Ranko, Itachi felt like a daydream.
Like a night in the summer, warm, but allthesame, cool, refreshing.
He could spend several lifetimes staring into those gorgeous, midnight eyes.
But reality seemed to slap him with the harsh cruelty of life. Because in that same year, things became tense. Time between them became scarce. And he was literally losing the boy he loved from his grasp. Kind, sweet, smiles turned to sad grimaces. Eyes that shined like the midnight sky, dulled to a pasty shade of coal. Beautiful features molded to a matured age of stress. Ranko was losing him, and yet again, he wasn't prepared.
Not long after, the news of Shisui Uchiha's death reached his ears. His body felt like ice, it felt heavy because all the memories of the older boy ran through his head. The three of them would always meet in a remote clearing, a cliff at the end with a raging river at the bottom. It was their spot.
Ranko wasn't as close to Shisui as he is to Itachi, but they were still friends. They all shared dreams of peace, they all yearned to make a life without war, they all wished. However, Shisui knew about Ranko's feelings for the other Uchiha. He would often tease him, giving him knowing looks when he was caught looking at Itachi like a lovesick fool, sometimes leaving early just so the two of them can have some alone time. Shisui was always there to listen, he was basically his brother figure.
A brother he now lost. He didn't believe that Shisui committed suicide, not one bit. He knew that there was more to the sudden tragedy.
Something he intended to find out, even if it took the rest of his life to figure out.
But before Ranko can begin to accept the loss of his dear friend, another loss hit him. It was the one that left him shattered. The one that made him want to die.
The news of the Uchiha Massacre, one caused by his beloved Itachi Uchiha. Of course, when he first heard the news, he was in the Anbu while the Shinobi around him were gossiping. Right then and there, he felt as if someone literally forced their hand into his chest just to rip his heart out.
He couldn't believe it. He didn't want to believe it. His Itachi, who dreamed of peace and a life without conflict, he couldn't have killed his clan just for the hell of it. There had to be a reason, he silently cried. There was a reason! He refused to believe it.
But it killed him even more when he heard that Itachi became a rogue ninja. That he left the Leaf Village. Though, the thing that completely shattered his very soul, was that Itachi never said goodbye. Years of being best friends, and not a single farewell.
That night he stared into the night sky, that he loved so much, and cried. Right then, he was a broken boy who cried for his loved ones. That night he lost everything, his best friend, his comrade, his rival, but most of all, his true love.
I will never stop loving you. I will never forget you. And I will certainly never believe that you killed them without a reason, he cried while looking up into the moon.

REN KIYOMI ALWAYS prided himself for being genuine person. He always told the truth, he always wished for the best, and he made sure to always treat everyone with kindness. He never cared for praise, not attention, he only cared for genuine quality. So when he met Aoi Kiyomi, he remembered how she actually listened to him and not gushed about his looks. She was different to all the other girls who practically kissed the ground he walked on. She stood her ground, she was the real deal, and he will always remember that, just like he does when she kicked him in the face.
His parents claimed that he only deserved the best, and when he met Aoi Kiyomi, he knew that she was the best. However, that doesn't mean that his life was always the best.
It all started when he was back in the Academy, he vividly remembers because it was one of the several days where the bullies picked on him. For some reason, a boy having lavender colored hair, made him a target for ridicule. Ren never saw anything wrong about his hair, it was a righrful trait to the Kiyomi clan. One of the most prestigious clans in the Land of Fire.
Their red eyes were said to resemble the burning fires of their hearts, the determination and raw passion to protect the ones they love. The shades of purple that made up their hairs, was said to replicate the soft sides of their persona, as they are soft like the petals of the flowers. A flower was their insignia because while everyone is different and have diverse personalities, they were always a family: Also because, like a flower, they first begin as a bud, but they'll eventually bloom to someone strong, someone beautiful.
Ren never characterized flowers to one gender, no, in the Kiyomi clan everyone cherishes the flowers. Flowers can be used for different reasons. Medicines, teas, gifts, decoration, but the clan mostly use them as weapons. Either in the form of poisons or with sharpened charkra which make them like blades. Flowers were always respected within the Kiyomi clan.
However, as Ren was getting bullied for his looks, it was the day where he met his first ally. Standing up for him was no one, other than Fugaku Uchiha. The raven haired boy ridiculed the bullies with his smirking comments, he stood with arrogance, but also a hint of aloofness. When the bullies disperesed with embarrassment, the Uchiha instantly turned to him, introducing himself.
Ren gained his first genuine friend.
In sight, they were seen as opposites. The Kiyomi was the vision of happiness and brightness. He was like the sun, warm and welcoming. Fugaku on the other hand, he was an aura of cool silence. If the Kiyomi was the sun, he was the moon, dark but endearing. Ren was awkward, Fugaku was confident, the former smiled and grinned, the latter smirked and scoffed; visual opposites, but internally similar.
The duo didn't need anyone else, together they were everything. They were friends. They were brothers. Then, as they graduated the Academy and got placed into the same team, their bond grew stronger. Of course, there were times where they tried to outshine the other, or got into small fights, but then that's what happens when they become rivals. Ren was all about strategies, Fugaku was all about kicking someone's ass. The Uchiha wasn't all brawns, he has the intelligence, but he also had the skill to defeat any enemy. So that's what he chose. Thankfully, their Kunoichi counterpart, Akari Sarutobi, was a mediator who often stopped their bickering.
Though, no matter how much they fought, they would always remain together as brothers.
They grew up together, they trained, they pushed each other to become stronger. But their life wasn't always so relaxing, at the same time the Third Great Shinobi War was commencing, and ongoing. The onslaught between Iwagakure and Konohagakure, was a battle on the Country of Grass, Kusagakure. Though, as the two countries were doing the majority of the fighting, Sunagakure also entered the war, along with Kumogakure and Kirigakure.
Their comrade and friend, Akari Sarutobi died at the hands of an Iwa Nin while protecting them, which resulted to Fugaku gaining his Mangekyo Sharingan. Ren was quick to kill the Shinobi by slamming two boulders together, sandwiching him. As the war continued, the two of them gained their personal titles. Fugaku was dubbed as Wicked Eye Fugako, which caused the other nations to tremble. Ren, he was dubbed as Grim Reaper Ren of Konoha, because wherever he went he killed every enemy, leaving nothing but death behind.
The duo were feared amongst the war, and as kind as Ren was, he truly showcased how terrifying the Kiyomi clan can be. Their embodiment was one of life, of warmth, but as soon as you threatened them, they became the faces of literal death before clasping their enemies in a cold, killing, grasp.
Though, as Ren became a harbringer of death, he also had a bit of life at the while. He was married to the beautiful Kiyomi woman, and he was the father of his first child. Even when life was stressful and full of war, he had his little life of bliss and happiness. His small family was the best that his parents were talking about. To Ren, his family was everything. They were the sun, the moon, and every star upon the sky, upon the universe. He cherished his wife like she was the most perfect, and beautiful, woman to walk the earth. He was completely smitten. And he adored his son, he wished that he would have a good life as well. To live, to fall in love, to dream, to prosper, anything that Ranko set his sights on, he would stand by and support him.
He had his life and he achieved the best of the best, and no war or tragedy will ever take that away.
But it did.
It was years, upon years, later that he felt his second, but greatest loss. The loss of his comrade, his rival, his sole best friend, and his only brother.
When the news of the Uchiha Massacre reached him, he felt like the ground beneath him fell apart, making him feel the sensation of endless falling. He felt unbalanced as half his soul tore itself apart, ripping off like a painful bandage. Beside him, his own wife was suffering her own turmoil as she fell on her knees, crying.
He knew that ever since the Kyuubi attack that took eight years prior, that the village blamed the Uchiha. Though, Ren knew differently, he would never assume that the Uchiha's would put themselves at risk by unleashing a Tailed Beast. It was incredulous that the villagers believed that. Konoha was their home, why would the Uchiha purposefully destroy it, Ren immediately thought. He witnessed the unfairness that the Uchiha recieved, first being blamed, them being moved to the outskirts of the village. The council was only adding to the stress.
Ren knew how Fugaku thought, he knew that his brother was planning something. He tried, persistently, to convince him to stop, that he was only endangering himself and the clan. Fugaku acknowledged his concerns, but he still kept to his beliefs. This was were they fought, once again, they tried to convince each other to their sides. Fugaku wanted Ren to aid him in the Coup de'tat against the village. Ren tried to make Fugaku look at the bigger picture, that the aftermath would become another war, that it would lead to lots of death. To devastation.
They met at a crossroads, agreeing and disagreeing.
Their relationship became tense. Trusted smiles turned to wary looks. Time together distingushed to fleeting glances. Friendship died to strangers. It was painful because he was literally watching his brother's downfall.
Ren argued with the council, with the Hokage, to ensure that the Uchiha were not a threat. That the Uchiha were family and how they deserved to be treated as such. That the only enemy was their blatant ignorance and their crued discrimination. But no matter how much pleaded, they never listened.
He wanted to save them, but instead he watched them fall. At the news of their deaths, of his death, Ren felt like a failure. He felt like a ghost, numb and lifeless. This time he actually felt like Death himself.
A lifetime of memories were suddenly the only thing he had left of his dear friend. At every reminder, he felt himself breaking, all over again. As he grew older, he never forgot to celebrate Fugaku's birthday, it was bittersweet, happy to tell him the current news, but too painful to be standing at his gravestone. There were days where he searched for his friend, always convinced that the Uchiha will turn the corner at any time, greeting him with the signature smirk.
But life seemed to hate him, always presenting the reality with a nonchalant wave.
Because on days where he walked by the abandoned Uchiha compound, noticing the lack of life, it hit him right in the chest like a hammer. When he walked by the docks, he mentally prepared himself, always steeling his nerves, but when Ren didn't see his best friend, his eyes immediately watered on the verge of tears. And whenever he caught a glance of his friend's youngest son, the news of the Uchiha tragedy always ran through his head.
And that's when he vowed to his best friend, to his brother. Don't worry Fugaku, I'll find out the truth for you. I'll find the answers to avenge the Uchiha clan! I'll show them who the Uchiha really were!
For you, brother, Ren promised as he clenched his fists.
