a pillow fight brought on
by adrenaline and goofiness
followed by an embrace that was
exploding, the tone peaceful
tranquil, real
a haven for hidden hope
so different from fantasy
this reality, i feel like i deserve
but it only lasts a little bit
as though the show was rehearsed
