Astrid's POV

The beast picked me up and I started yelling profanities at it, it was holding me with it's hind right leg and I growled at it, I didn't care if it didn't hear it. After 5 minutes of the beast flying holding my arms they started to hurt a little, I was to caught up thinking I didn't notice the beast was slowly going lower until my feet touched the ground and it let go of my arms, I quickly rolled away and stood in a fighting stance just in case. The beast landed and Snotlout and Gobber quickly jumped off and we all stood in a group, the beast growled and wrapped it's tail around the boy. The boy stood up a bit straighter and his gaze raked everyone and when it stopped on Snotlout and I his gaze hardened, I frowned and gripped my axe tighter, I hardly noticed I was holding it. "Now.... You cannot harm any dragon.... here. Understood?" The boy said, Snotlout snorted and he burst out laughing, "You-You expect us to stay away from the... the dragons! Ha! They'll come to us and harm us!!" Snotlout yelled and the boy's stare turned cold and he walked forward the dragon crooned worriedly at him, "You... know, Snotlout.... I wouldn't say that... around me." the boy growled, Snotlout stopped laughing and shrunk away from the boy slightly.

"Fine." Snotlout growled but I noticed he was grabbing his mace that was strapped to his waist, I was about to warn the boy but Snotlout had already swung his mace, suddenly the boy grabbed Snotlout's wrist and stopped him from hitting him, he grabbed the mace out of his hand and threw it out of his reach, the boy jumped over Snotlout and pulled his arm behind his back, Snotlout yelped in pain and I looked on in shock, "Now, Now.... Snotface. There's no.... fighting unless it's... in the training arena...." The boy growled in his ear before roughly letting go of Snotlout's arm and walking back towards the beast. "W-Who are you?" Fish leg's piped up, the boy looked at him before hesitantly saying, "M-My name's R-Ryder." 

Hiccup's POV

I knew I could never tell them my real identity, they would go tell Stoick or try to take me back to Berk, and that is definitely not what I want. My life is with the Dragons now, not with Vikings. I noticed Ruffnut yawn lightly in the corner of my eye and I noticed it was late and they must've sailed for hours to reach the island. 

"Now.... I will show you...to the g-gu-guest area and you will....sleep there." I said, they all nodded before I walked off, knowing they would all follow. I walked through the tunnels of the cave, I heard whispering behind me and I focused a little on that. "Do you know who he could be? And how he knows us?" I heard Fishlegs whisper, I smirked. "T-To answer you q-qu-question Fishl-legs, I am someone..... That you knew." I said, startling everyone into silence. I smirked as Toothless made a small laughing noise before going silent as well.

"How come you won't take your mask off?" Astrid said, walking up a little further towards my side but Toothless growled, she stopped and I could feel her eyes boring into the back of my head. "W-We're at the Gu-guest area." I said, brushing off her question, I heard her grumble but didn't have enough time to understand what. I stepped into the dark cave area, "Light please." I said softly, suddenly a red and black Nightmare flamed up, illuminating the space of the cave showing a few smaller dragons laying around sleeping or some resting against the Nightmare for warmth. The gang and Gobber gasped in horror, the Nightmare growled at them but I hushed it lightly. I waked over and gently placed my hand on its snout, it inflaming that part of it's body. 

"Now, I know these vikings are knew, but I ask you one thing. Please trust them, and they may trust you." I said softly, "Yes, Dragon Master." The Nightmare growled lightly, bowing its head down a little as I rubbed my hand in a small circle before stepping back. "N-Now, th-this is Hookfang, h-he will be your.... source of l-l-light. W-When you all a-are ready.... to sleep, o-one of you yell 'Flame out.' and H-Hookfang will u-unflame himself." I said, turning around and looking at the gang, they all nodded as they scattered a little, but staying close together. 

"R-Remember, do not a-attack any dragons. U-Unless ab-absoultly n-n-nessissary." I growled, lowering my voice involuntarily. The gang all nodded, Snotlout nodding his head hurriedly. I rolled my eyes before turning towards Toothless. "I-I'm going for a n-night r-ride. I'll b-be back..... Maybe."I said, mounting Toothless' saddle, I steered him away from the gang, Gobber and Hookfang and Toothless ran out of the tunnels taking off and beating his wings and flying out towards the night sky. Us merging into one.

(A;N I am so sorry for not updating this story in a while! But I hope you enjoyed this chapter, sorry if it may be disappointing. 

I've done 4 Exams, two last week and two this week so far and I have one more tomorrow so I hope this is an okay chapter for being a little pressured to study. <3 :)
