He wasn't anyone I knew, but he felt like something I should recognize. A silhouette, blurring the edges of reality, pulling me closer, like gravity holding stars in their orbits.

Was he the answer to the shadow that clung to me, or a trap set in the dark?

I couldn't be sure. He was like a silhouette etched against a twilight sky, familiar in a way I couldn't define.

Dreams are like the reflection of the sun on the ocean's surface—always shimmering, always inviting, but never quite real. The warmth he offered was inviting, like daybreak, but could it be more than a flame that would consume me in the end?
