Upon peculiar interest, I float over to this child who looks miraculously like me. Unfortunately, Kurisu is still absorbed by her theories and takes no notice of my departure. So I follow him on the path by the busy road. Past looming skyscrapers, chatty groups of people and passerby travellers. The noise they make is muffled to me, it's like I'm moving in slow motion. The day so far has been quite grey, the sky shows no signs of parting. It's as if the 'past' Akihabara is forever still, hazy and undefined.

Now, this twin of mine has made a sharp turn into a dark street to my left, so I continue to be on his trail. He looks so..... internal. Taking no notice of what's around him, receding into his mind. What he's thinking about I don't know. I feel a negative vibration radiating off him, I'm not like that am I? We soon arrive at a semi-normal appearing building. After swiftly locating a key from his pocket, he turns the lock, opens and struggles to close the heavy door behind him. Just enough time for me to slip inside along with him of course. Mission Investigate Twin Accomplished.

My eyes perceive to me more than just a doppelgänger. Myself is.... EVERYWHERE?! How.... what? This.... it's not possible, they cannot all exist in one world line, that's just.... inexplainable and no way the universe could allow it.

One version of myself is eating a banana while talking to another who has their arms crossed and brows furrowed in deep thought.

I see another talking secretly on their cell phone, most likely blabbering some nonsense about the organisation.

How are all these ages of me ALL coexisting in the same world line?! There has to be at least fifty Okabe's in here, some with black coats, others with white coats. This sight makes me feel faint, am I hallucinating? The two shades create a spotty pattern within the large space, it's a foyer from what I can tell.

I am all in one place. That's really strange to think. And I've been somehow lured here too, even in partial ghost form?!

There's a table propped at the side of the room and a figure jumps up on it. The first thing I recognise is her tight, black bullet proof outfit. Her glasses gleam under the dim light above her. Moeka, why is it always you who ruins my life? I went though enough saving Mayuri and that shattered me into a tiny million pieces. What more could you do?

Those reflect in the present time.....

Mayuri has a twinkling hope for Okabe. He is a crazy mad scientist, but she knows that he has the guts to deal with this. Under all his funny, eccentric personality, he has a kind, gentle heart. After Suzuha's explanation about what's going on, she's relieved. Daru did still pass on in this world line, but Okabe will fix that, right? She doesn't let this stay in her mind, she skips through Akihabara with a faint grin on her face. As she passes each store front, she notices her bright blue dress that boldly reflects back at her. Like a bright, calm, blue raindrop on the glass. Not a raindrop of course, it's Mayuri Shiina, Okabe's best friend who will stay by his side for eternity.

Ruka didn't expect this at all, what made him decide to help Mayuri out in the first place? Okabe is important to him too, of course. He couldn't just leave her, imagine if she found Daru all by herself! He believes that Mayuri wouldn't have coped and decides that his decision was a good one.

Seeing Daru, the kind, slightly perverted guy he used to know, slumped on the floor, so lifeless, makes him feel very nauseous. He quickly shakes his head and brings himself back to reality. The bright summery leaves surrounding his home subtlety greet him, praising him for the hardships he experienced the previous night.

This world line of divergence 0,842134% holds its breath, in a paralysed trance. Okabe must do what he has to do so save all the Okabe's, or the whole world will be transformed into a place unrecognisable by anyone. If all the Okabe's are destroyed, the saviour will cease to exist and his name will disappear into the cosmos.
