The mission was over, thy were home, safe in the village the team out training. Name walked through the village with a proud smile, she could sense the Anbu's chakra. Jumping up, she successfully dodged the attack and smirked, leaning on the Anbu's head with a smirk.
"Your getting slower tenzo" she stated. The ANBU member faltered slightly making her laugh.
"Nami-Senpai" he stated a smile on his face, Nami smiled back.
"How's the team?" She asked, Yamato shrugged
"Nothing has really changed, it doesn't feel right not having you and The captain in the team" he commented, walking her to the Hokage's mansion, Nami smiled at this, the ANBU team watching from afar.
"There so skittish aren't they?" She asked, Yamato sighed at her comment
"They think it's a mission and your the target" laughing softly at this, she tilted her head,
"Your lucky my chakra reserves aren't cut off, I can't even see or hear you guys right now" she stated, opening the door to Hokage's office making the hokage look up, seeing Kakashi in the room Nami smiled and waved to him,
"Hey sweetie" Kakashi greeted. Yamato then went over to his former captain and looked at Nami curiously
"Her sensory capabilities have gotten so much better, we were having an actual conversation out there, no sharingan or anything" Yamato whispered. Kakashi smirked
"She's an amazing girl" Kakashi stated, the hokage looked to the girl before him,
"Nami.. Kakashi has raised the idea of your reentering back into ANBU" Nami nodded,
"He has considered it and allowed to occur" Nami stated,
"You are aware that your abilities could give you a major disadvantage" Nami nodded,
"I have been training and have achieved my fullest potential with my sensory chakra, I can now read lips through this even without the use of my sharingan, I can also read chakra patterns, see which element and sense when a jutsu is being prepared" she stated. Kakashi then began to form handsigns, Nami looked at the hokage straight in the eye, "fire element, fire ball jutsu" she stated, making the hokage gasp, shocked, it was correct, exactly.. Kakashi then smiled.
"Nami is ready, her physical attributes are still in peak condition. Her training is sufficient and she is well prepared for almost any mission"
"What about hearing?" The hokage asked, Nami smiled. "What if your chakra is depleted?" Nami sighed at this, "tsume can provide me with enough chakra to sustain a army of shinobi 5 times over.. I do not run out of chakra, there has never been an instant where I have had low enough chakra to do not be able to do my techniques" Nami explained quickly, "tsume can also act as eyes and ears for me" she whispered, this peeked the Hokage's interest, but he let it be for now.
"I must consider this, but, if I do allow this, you will be starting at the very bottom of the ranks, are you aware of that?" Nami nodded "and that it may take years for you to enter ANBU black ops like you are hoping too" Nami nodded again,
"I wish to protect my village in the shadows" she whispered, Kakashi sighed,
"Lord hokage, I'd like to oversee any future missions she is assigned" Kakashi stated, hiruzen nodded
"Of course" Yamato then looked to Nami with an excited look, Nami smiled and hugged her father happily, she knew that the hokage would allow it, it would mean lots of training and missions, but she was ready for it.
