The whole team seemed to be in a bad mood, nami was sleeping soundly in her father's arms as he carried her quietly, keeping her against him.
"......Sensei....?" Naruto spoke up... Kakashi sighed glaring to Naruto, giving the blonde his attention, "....was nami...born..blind and deaf?" Naruto asked quietly. Kakashi sighed
"She was born deaf... She went blind in battle.." He whispered softly.. "It's why she isn't a ninja, well wasn't until now.. She's unable to fight properly like any of us anymore.. She used to be great shinobi., a powerful one to.. But.." Kakashi then sighed
"Her chakra is the only thing that lets her fight, without it she's helpless" Kakashi explained quietly, nami stirred and looked up at him, gazing up at him with her pale blue eyes..
"Hi daddy" she said with a smile, even if she couldn't see or hear him she was well aware of who was carrying her. Kakashi smiled softly at her
"So how was she able to defend herself against me in the sparring match?" Sasuke spoke up making Kakashi sigh
"Again her chakra helps her, she makes the chakra flow into the ground and it picks up movement in the air and ground, why she was able to block, her chakra acts like sonar, it's hits something solid and bounces back to her" Kakashi says quietly, nami looked around, she seemed to be able to see.
"Why do her eyes change colour sensei?" Sakura asked,
"Sharingan" Kakashi whispered nami smiled at him, resting her head on his shoulder
"I love you daddy" she whispered..
"Love you too sweetie" he whispered softly.. Keeping the girl close as he walked down the road with the other three genin behind him, he couldn't believe nami was 9 already.. It seemed like it had been only a couple months ago that his late wife had given birth to their second baby girl.. Yet time had gone quickly... Kakashi sighed.. He never would of thought that his first child and wife would have died.. Never would he have guessed that he second baby girl would be born deaf.. But it happened.. And he couldn't get out of it, but he wouldn't do anything to change his little girl.. Sure.. He didn't want her to be both blind or deaf but.. If she hadn't been, she would of never became the person he was holding, the young strong and sweet girl that loved almost everyone she met and cared for everyone close to her..
"Daddy...." He was brought out of his thoughts quickly by Nami's voice, which seemed to echo through his head as his gaze snapped down to the girl.. There he noticed that she had fallen asleep again.. Mumbling for him softly in her unconscious state, Kakashi smiled holding her closer and hugging her
"Love you so much more sweetie.." He whispered, still leading the team of genin to their destination with little nami sleeping soundly in his arms..
