Emile was by the counter talking to Remy. He seemed happy and shy at the same time. Patton plays around with his milkshake. He was now in the outfit he had on before cheer. Remus fell asleep surprisingly with his head on Patton's lap. Roman was on his phone showing Virgil something. "There's no way spiders eat humans Roman. That might be the biggest spider but it can barely eat a bird" Patton lifts his head. "Spider?!" Virgil shows Patton the picture making the other scream. "Oh god..." Roman reaches over rubbing Patton's shoulders. "None of those live here anyways Patton. You're fine" Virgil leans back with a smirk on his face. "None that you haven't seen yet" Patton whines slouching in his seat. "Virgil..."

"Patton they're harmless. They're more scared of us anyways" Virgil explains reaching for another fry only for it to be taken away from him. Patton stole the fries starting to eat them. "Great Virgil. He's stress eating" Roman groans missing his fries. Patton was using his other hand to comb through Remus's hair. "Do you think I was too harsh on Janus?" Virgil blows at his bangs giving Patton a glare. "Really Patton? After what he did?" Patton looks at Virgil with a frown. "He was just upset-" Roman stole the fries back gently smacking Patton on the head. "Patton... He almost fucking hit you because you were breaking up with him! What if you were still with him? He deserves to feel like a piece of shit along with feeling pain" Patton turns his attention to Roman. "But-"

"No buts!" Both Roman and Virgil yell getting fries. Patton went back to drinking his milkshake. He couldn't help but feel guilty. Remus laughs a bit in his sleep. "No buts" He kept laughing afterwards. Roman sighs taking out his phone. He got 10 missed calls. He calls up Logan to check what's wrong. "Logan?" Virgil and Patton's attention were on Roman. "Logan calm down. I'm sure she's nearby" Patton twirls his finger around Remus's hair strand. Virgil tilts his head. "Nelly could come home on her own as well" Roman was offered a fry to which he declined. Virgil ate the fry he offered. Emile comes back to them flustered. Patton looks at his brother with a smile. Roman eventually hung up on Logan. "How'd it go big bro?"

Emile rubs the back of his neck looking at Remy who waved at him. He immediately looks away putting his face in his hands. "It went great but we should get going since it's getting late!" He says fast rushing out of the diner. Patton giggles waking up Remus by gently shaking him. Roman takes the fries with him with the help of Virgil. Remus opens his eyes slowly looking up at Patton. "Why hello Daddy~" Patton puffs out his cheeks covering Remus's eyes. "We're leaving Remus. And we need to talk..." Remus sits up watching the others leave. "What are we going to do? Janus knows and he might tell the police" Patton looks at Remus. Remus sighs putting his hand on Patton's shoulder. "Janus isn't going to tell anyone. Not after what he pulled at school. Soon everyone will be against him leaving him with those goons and no one will believe them"

"The police will-" Patton felt a hand covering his mouth. Remus smiles at the bright boy. "The police won't know anything. As long as we keep Janus and the goons occupied, we don't have to worry about a thing" Patton nods his head as they head out the diner. Remus had his arms behind his neck while they walked. They arrive to the SUV with Roman and Virgil arguing about- "Logan hurt you before Roman! What makes you think he wouldn't do it again?" Roman was hugging himself looking down at his feet. Patton gets inside sitting next to Roman. "Why are you yelling at my brother?" Remus gets in sitting next to Patton. Virgil was sitting next to Roman. "He finally spouted out what Logan did to him" Emile answered for Virgil starting up the car. "That is?" Patton hugs Roman tightly whispering something. Roman hugs back letting the tears finally fall. "Logan held a knife to his throat" Virgil coldly says crossing his arms laying his head on the window.

"He did what?!" Remus yells before breathing in deeply. Roman starts to defend Logan. Patton saw himself in Roman when the other spoke. "H-He didn't mean to! He was working himself too hard and I wanted him to relax! We got into an argument then a knife was held to my throat..." Remus pinched the bridge of his nose. "Roman Packton, my dearest brother, you're so dumb... He's dangerous! He held a knife to your fucking throat! He could've killed you!" Roman pushes Patton away pulling his knees to his chest. "But he didn't... He won't do it again..." Patton being silent finally spoke up. "What makes you think he won't do it Ro? You of all people should know what abuse is.. I delt with it and you two witnessed it!" Virgil looks away from the window. "If he pulls that shit again, I won't promise you he'd be okay afterwards" Roman looks at Virgil. "Virgil don't-"

The car comes to a stop with Virgil exiting the vehicle. "Goodnight" The three watches Virgil walk away to his home while the car moved forward. "How about some music?" Emile suggested turning on the radio. The song "Prepared" from Lion King comes on. Roman scooches away from Patton earning a space between them. "Rowie"

"Rowie! Let's pway!" Young kids with big minds. "Okay Rewie! You're the dark knight! Pat Pat is the damsel in distwess! And I'm the good knight!" Remus pouts crossing his arms. "Why am I da dark knight?" Roman smiles crossing his arms. "Because you get redemption from da pwincess" Patton giggles putting on the tiara Roman made. "Yay!" Remus hides in by the swings. Roman starts walking side by side with Patton. "I assure you pwincess that you'll be safe!" They pass by the swings with Remus jumping out and grabbing Patton by the hand dragging him away. "Rowie! Halp!" Remus climbs the ladder helping Patton up. They were on high grounds now. He ties up Patton with a string. Not too tight.

Roman runs to them starting to climb the ladder. "Give meh back Pat Pat!" He points his wooden sword as his brother. Remus grabs the box of leaves pretending they're balls with spikes on them. "Nevah!" He starts dropping leaves over Roman. Roman gasps "dodging" each one. Remus brings Patton higher up to the monkey bars. "Rowie!" Roman climbs up chasing after his brother. Remus using all of his strength put Patton in the basket attached to the monkey bars. Patton blinks confused before feeling the basket fall gently. He screams not knowing what's going on. Remus jumps down after him with Roman falling on top of him. "I got chu!" Remus pouts watching Roman help Patton out of the basket. "Rowie get off of him!" Roman sat on top of his brother. He stuck his tongue out before Patton pushed him off.

Patton helps Remus up dusting him off. Remus laughs at his brother. "Guess da hero isn't the hero after all" Roman blows a raspberry at Remus getting up.

"Roman?" Patton asks putting his hand carefully on the other's shoulder. "Do you guys remember when we were five? Playing knights and Patton would be the princess..." Remus clicks his tongue. "I would always be the villain" Roman sighs feeling the car come to a stop. "You ended up being a hero in the end Re" He exits the car with Remus following. "See ya Pat!" Patton waves goodbye and the car moves again. Emile changes the music.
