Chapter 7

_after a weekend of hugs and comfort_

Midoriya's POV

It's Tuesday, another working and learning day. Mizuki had a frown on his face as we waited for Katsuki, who has Katsumi with him, in the garage to get the car out. I know that frown, he doesn't want to go to school and I can't blame him. I pat his head and bent down to kiss his forehead. Mizuki blink at me and smile.

"Thanks, Papa." He muttered, I smiled back and hugged him and kissed his hair.

"I'm sorry." I whispered on his hair. Mizuki just hummed as we hugged for a minute. I don't know what to do with how they interact with my children. I just hope that I can snatch them away from that and put them in a safe and best school.

"Mizuki-kun!" I lifted my head as I saw Aouli running towards us, Shoto and Setsu behind his back. Mizuki gently let go and face Aouli.

"What is it, Aouli-san?" He asked, curious as he shifted his glasses. Aouli smiled softly and got his hand and put something in it. He closed Mizuki's palm and leaned in to whisper something. Mizuki's eyes widened as he gape. Aouli backed away and wink at him.

"Wear it when you get to your school." He said, Mizuki giggled and eagerly nodded.

"Thank you, Aouli-san!" He beames, hugging him from his torso. Aouli laughed, patting his head and smiled.

"You're welcome." He said. I watched the exchange with a small smile dancing on my lips. Mizuki went towards Setsu as he proudly presented his closed palm to her. I looked towards Aouli to see him smiling sadly but still happy, as if he already missed the item he gave Mizuki.

"What did you give him?" I asked, "It looks important to you." He smiled as his eyes seemed far away and remembered some memories from the past.

"A necklace, someone important to me gave it when I was having a hard time too." He muttered. He stood beside me and smiled.

"I want Mizuki-kun to have the same courage I had when it was still in my possession." He said. I raffle his hair that made him bow his head in embarrassment. I stopped and he looked up at me.

"Thank you for helping my son." I said softly as I smiled.

Setsu and Amaris finally made it out with Shoto. Agni has a pout on his face as he sits on the sofa where we can see him from outside.

"Enjoy your journey..." He said and sulked. Aouli snickered at his big brother that made Agni growl. Aouli was hit by Amaris by being childish.

We planned on making them meet All Might. They eagerly accepted the invitation when they heard about the Legendary Hero. Unfortunately, Agni can't come because his leg is still not fully healed that is why he was still sulking.

I merely laughed as we boarded the car and bid goodbye to Agni and wished him to be safe in the house. He reluctantly waved, defeated but still glad he could rest alone.

The car exited the gate and drove away. I looked up at the mirror to see Mizuki having a wide smile on his face as he hummed some tunes and kept his closed hands near his heart. I'm glad that he is smiling and grateful that someone had made him smile.

-Timeskip-

Aouli and Amaris had a frown on their face as they waved but the two reassured them. Mizuki opened his palm and wore a simple necklace that bound a blue water teardrop. It made Aouli grin. Amaris pat Setsu's hair and give her some words of encouragement and it made my daughter smile brightly. We drove away as we waved goodbye, them doing the same too.

We arrived at the company and entered the building. The two trailing behind us as they gaped at the interior. It's not that fancy, a little modernized and some small chandeliers and paintings, it's not much but it made our employees get encouragement by working in a fancy but homely building.

"Your kids, sirs?" Someone asked as they peaked at Amaris and Aouli. They stiffened and hid behind our backs. I laughed.

"No, our kids' friends." I said with a wide smile. They look surprised.

"That's good news, sirs!" They cheered. We smiled as they introduced themselves to Amaris and Aouli. They looked embarrassed but they were happy as they smiled and shook their hands.

After their introduction we rode the elevator and went inside our office. We told the two siblings to stay with our secretaries first after some work we need to do. They agreed as the secretary trio looked excited to meet our children's friends. The actions of our employees overwhelmed the two but they were glad that they got to have a good impression.

- another timeskip now with the three pro heros visiting Naoshi-san-

"They told us their quirk." I said to Naoshi. He raised his brow as he prepared new bandages for my wound, if ever it needed a new one.

"That's good then! I don't need to impose myself, a stranger, and flat out ask them to tell me their quirks!" He said in a sing-song voice. I chuckled as I removed my tie then my long sleeves and placed them on the vacant bed and sat there. Naoshi went near me and removed the bandages.

"We still need you to look at their wounds and check their shape shifting form if it ever did something to it." I said. He hummed as he stared at me with his dark brown eyes.

"It does not work that way, Midoriya-san." He blandly said and I smiled at him.

"Come on, I know what works and what doesn't too, you know–"

"I do know, yes."

"–And I can even double your paycheck this month." I said, ending the deal. He raised his brows at me, he was intrigued. Naoshi looked away and glanced back then shifted his gaze again and held his right horn. He sighed.

"Alright, deal." He said in a small voice. I laughed making him irksome but never bothered to stop me.

"Thanks for doing your work even though they are outsiders to the company." I said, sincere and grateful. He pursed his lips and looked away as he just hummed.

"Let's dress your wounds." He muttered and I nodded.

We talked for a while and bid goodbye once he finished. I went to our office floor and entered our room. I saw both Shoto and Katsuki sitting at their table, reading a report. The door from our right was filled with our three secretary's voice as they told stories to the two siblings.

Shoto lifted his head and saw me.

"Hey, how's your wound?" He asked.

"It's okay, it still needed some bandages." I said and he nodded a get back to reading the report. I also went to mine and grabbed the papers containing the result of the evidence that was examined by our forensic.

I'm still impressed by them everytime our company investigates, they even manage to complete it in one night.

I skimmed it as they explain the biology of the feathers and furs, what creature it belongs and if it is a shape shifting type of quirk. They had written that the feathers came from an eagle and also something along the lines of a lion and a cat. It made me raise my brow. A feline can have a feather? It made me confused but I read further.

The furs came from a fox which we guessed right when we saw the footage. The only difference is that it's huge and has a length of a human arm. It's color is black, they didn't get any DNA on it as it kept on disappearing once they managed to cut a little bit off. They said it was 'like smoke' and they fear that it might disappear after 48 hours.

They also came to a conclusion that it was a shape shifting quirk and not a real monster which made me sigh in relief.

I examined the pictures of the evidence and was amazed how meticulous they work. I'm so proud of my employees.

Amaris' POV

We've been getting entertained by Handa-san, Yukimura-san and Tsubasa-san in their offices.

Yukimura-san was doing his work after he gave us some muffins he made for themselves. He told us that they should have two for each but was really kind to just give us the other two instead of them eating it all. Since we're only two and there is one left, he got it to himself with a reason that he was the one who did it, the other two secretaries were sad but let it go.

We just sat there, munching away on our muffins as we watched them interact. Handa-san told us stories about the parents of the children while gushing as he did so. He particularly likes Midoriya-san more because he is his boss.

Handa-san and Tsubasa-san's stories made Aouli and I even more amazed at the three heroes. It made me wonder if I will ever be a hero just like them and a great singer just like our parents. Strong willed as they saved countless lives by doing what they did best, helping and entertaining. I smiled wide and wondered.

Midoriya's POV

I put down the paper and looked towards my two husbands. They sport a confused face as they read the paragraphs again and again. I chuckled as I played with my pen, having fun watching them get a little frustrated.

"Want to ask an expert?" I suggested. They raised their head and looked at me.

"Who?" Katsuki asked.

"All Might!" I said with a beam, "Also it's time we visit him and we're gonna introduce the two." I stated.

"Why are we going to let them meet All Might?" Shoto asked as he closed the folder that the reports were kept in.

"Well, I'm curious if All Might knew their parents." I said as I twirl my pen, "They sound like one when we heard about them from the teens last night."

"It's your decision, Deku." Katsuki said and sighed. He looks mellow and calm right now as he spins his swivel chair.

"I'm gonna tell them we're going now." I said as I stood up and went to the office of our three secretaries. I knocked, opened it and was greeted by the three sitting face to face with Amaris and Aouli. They even managed to pull Yukimura out of his work that made me amazed.

"Hey, am I interrupting?" I asked. The trio shook their heads and Amaris waved a little while Aouli nodded as a greeting.

"No, Midoriya-san!" Handa said and I smiled.

"That's good, I'm gonna get the kids now." I said and the three just nodded.

"Where are we going?" Amaris asked when we exited the room and went outside of the hallway where Shoto and Katsuki waited.

"We're going to All Might!" I said, Aouli and Amaris widened their eyes and cheered.

-Timeskip-

"All Might!" I greeted as we went inside, his service dog, which is an energetic ball of white fur named Skipper, barked at us and wagged his tail in greetings. I laugh as I give him pats.

"Young Midoriya." All Might greet as he pushes his mechanical wheelchair. All Might looks older but he still has that light of justice shining on his eyes.

"Hello, All Might." Shoto greeted while Bakugou smiles at him. He laughed merrily and made us walk towards the living room. He stopped when he notice Amaris and Aouli curiously peeking behind Shoto and looking everywhere, amaze and gaping.

"Who might you be, young children?" He asked then look towards us and back at them. "A new child of this three?" Amaris shook her head in embarrassment as Aouli looked away and rubbed his nape.

"We– we are just friends of their children." Amaris quickly answered. All Might apologized and chuckled.

"Sorry 'bout that," He said with a soft smile," Come on, we're going to the living room." They nod as they enter the living room. Skipper wagging his tail as he sniffed them.

Aouli and Amaris look curiously at the dog as their tails also sways and their ears perk up. Their attentions completely to Skipper as they just plop on the ground and play with him. Rubbing his head and making him happy.

All Might looked happy as he watched them. He looked towards us as we settled and let the two play.

" So, what news do you have for me this time?" he asked, eyeing us all ready to listen.

I slightly lean closer to him so the kids wouldn't hear.

"We actually want some help since these kids seem to be in a situation like Eri-chan." I whisper to him looking at the kids worriedly. All Might followed my gaze as we all watched the kids giving Skipper some treats they brought with them, and even making him do tricks. They looked more joyful than when we first met them, it seems no trace of what had occured has bothered them, sure they still act all shy but they have more to them than meets the eye.

He looks at me then back to the kids with a more grim look, but it turns into his warm smile as he calls for Aouli and Amaris' attention. They looked up at him as Skipper nudge Aouli's hands to pet him more.

"Do you want to play with Skipper outside?" He asked Skipper perk up as he pant and went towards All Might to lick his hand and ran towards them.

"It looks like he's more eager." I commented and chuckled. Amaris smiled widely as she nodded and they went outside at the front. All Might sighed as he gave us his attention.

"If this is like Overhaul and the Shei Hassaikai, you will be more prepared than ever." All Might said with a smile, "I'm glad that they got to meet you."

"We weren't the one who met and saved them, All Might." Shoto said, "The children did that." All Might was surprised but he smiled and chuckled.

"They sure are getting their dad's spotlight to themselves." He said cheekily. He looks proud for them and it makes us happy.

"There was also an accident inside our patrolled land." Katsuki said. All Might looked worried as we elaborated.

"There were three victims, shapeshifters according to our forensic, that were illegally transported."I said, "The three burned the truck in a desperate manner just to escape, and so does the driver." All Might had a frown on his face as he tapped his finger on the handle of his wheelchair.

"The driver died then." He said, knowing the consequences well but we shook our head.

"No, they didn't, he was actually a giant where his whole body is ink goo." I tried explaining. All Might nodded along.

"Did you track the three escapees?" He asked and we shook our head.

"Unfortunately, no. Yaoyorozu and Kirishima were also helping us track them too since they were in the place too when we went and investigated and we were attacked by the driver who we thought died." Shoto said.

"You've got a lot on your shoulders." All Might said as he sighed. We grimaced and sighed too.

"Don't worry, maybe they are just there somewhere near." All Might tried to cheer us up that made me smile and nod.

"Yeah, and we're going to find them as soon as possible." I stated. All Might smiled as he look at the two on the front yard.

"Do you want some snacks?" He asked us, "There's some in the kitchen. Unfortunately I can't get them after my aid is out." He said.

"We'll handle it." I said as I got up and we went to the kitchen. All Might went to the front yard too as he watch the kids play with his dogs. I smiled while seeing it as we get busy in the kitchen.

Third Person POV

Toshinori watched the kids play with his dog that made him smile and be content. He doesn't know what horror did these kids and the victims from the accident had been in but he prayed that Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugou help and save them from it.

Even after his retirement, crimes aren't able to rest. He did make an impact at changing and he wished that so do the next generations.

He heard a yaping noise as he directed his attention to them, Amaris yip and playfully bump her knuckles on Skipper's head. Aouli starts chirping and purrs as he held Skipper's tail that made the dog sway it out of his hold. The dog playfully nipped on his hands as he whined, Aouli removed his hold as he hugged Skipper.

"Sorry." Aouli mumbled on his fur as Skipper just bark and pant.

"It's okay, he said." Toshinori said as he grinned towards them. Aouli and Amaris smiled widely.

"Hey, All Might!" They greeted giddily. All Might laughed as he pushed the joystick and his wheelchair moved closer towards them.

Skipper greeted him with a bark and a lap on his hands. Toshinori gave him some pats as the siblings sat on the ground, watching them.

"Hey, too. I believe I didn't catch your names." He said, "What's your names?"

"I'm Amaris, the big sister." Amaris said as she grinned.

"Aouli, the youngest." Aouli said as he shyly smile. Toshinori grinned at them as he also gave them pats, not really knowing why he does so but when he saw their ears atop a mop of hair, he can't help it.

"Nice to meet you." He said. The kids did the same.

Skipper let them meet first but when they finished, pounced on Aouli and made him lay on the grassy ground. A service dog shouldn't get really distracted but Toshinori just let's him, beside there are people nearby that can help him.

"Do you live with Young Midoriya and his family?" He asked, curious. Amaris and Aouli look at each other and glance back at him.

"I...I guess that's the arrangement." Amaris said and chuckled awkwardly. Toshinori raised his brows.

"Hoh? I see." He agreed and chuckled. Amaris slouched her back as she felt embarrassed.

"Where are your parents?" He asked once again.

"Ah, they're, kind of...away." Aouli answered this time. Toshinori blink and hummed.

"Why? Is it work related?" He asked. Aouli nodded his head and looked away from Toshinori's curious gaze.

"Yeah...they're Anais and Sharik, two pro heroes who have a lovely voice and love by many." He said in such a melancholy voice that made Toshinori feel it in his heart. But the name sounds really familiar...

He gave it a thought as the two got back their attention to his dog. He looked at their ears, at their faces and then it clicked.

"You're the children of THE Anais and Sharik?!" He asked, unbelievable and yet at the same time, it made sense. Amaris and Aouli nodded.

"Huh..." Toshinori muttered and then chuckled. He knows them, but not that much like their fans. They were always the number one when it comes to music. Their voices are so lovely and in sync that everyone just falls in love with their songs. He knows about their quirk where Anais use a Ying Yang sort of power and can shapeshift. Sharik can also shapeshift into a beautiful brown griffin that has golden beak and talons. He also has two elemental quirks which are water and fire.

"That made sense." He whispered as he watched them have fun. Their parents don't fight much crime and focused on the healing of ones will and spirit, they do this through singing. Toshinori listened to a couple of their albums and the people's words about it are justified.

They were called by Bakugou to enter the house and have some light snacks. Amaris helped Toshinori to guide his wheelchair that made the old hero thank her. Amaris smiled as they entered the house again and had a snack inside the living room, Skipper was also handed some dog food in his bowl.

They talked a few, Toshinori forgetting to tell the three about the parents of the children as they enjoyed their foods and stories.

They bid him farewell when his aid got home, it made Toshinori miss them again once they drove away, maybe it's because he is getting old. He laughed it off as he met his aid at the middle of his way back inside, he was holding a folder.

"Toshi-san," He called as he lifted the folder, "Midoriya-san left this." He said as he gave it to him. Toshinori raised his brow as his aid wheeled him inside the kitchen and prepared the dinner. Skipper skips inside the kitchen as he squirm his way on Toshinori and sit beside his wheelchair.

The old hero examined the folder and saw the label. It read 'Shots of the Shapeshifters and Evidences'. Toshinori became curious as he put it on the table and opened the folder. He gasped as he saw the content. He saw a blurred out beast but for him it looks clear as to what they are, the beast is familiar and looks like the famed Anais and Sharik when they shapeshift. It explains it all.

'This three beasts are Amaris and her brother...and the other one too is her sibling.' He thought as he skimmed the content. He came to a page that shows a picture of a burnt feather and an arm length black wispy fur. Toshinori examined them and sighed. Parents with a power who can shapeshift with children that might do so too and victims who can shapeshift on to the animal the parents of Amaris and Aouli will turn into.

"They're right in front of them." Toshinori whispered and chuckled.
