Chapter 2

Setsu's POV

The plan was simple, my siblings and I will sneak them in our house while I find the first aid kit our fathers keep and I'll treat Amaris-san (Agni-san told us his siblings names). Mizuki will tell our fathers some excuses on why we went home early with no groceries on possession. I guess it will not be simple to convince Papa Katsuki but Katsumi will do some work and distract him.

Agni-san just nodded along at my suggestion while I'm trying to think if this will actually work out. Papa Katsuki is not the only one who I need to keep out of but our other two Fathers as well. I'm not really good at planning something like Papa Izuku but for the sake of these three, I'll just do my best.

"How do we carry them, Setsu-nee?" Mizuki asked. I froze and held my chin.

"I...didn't think of that." I whispered. Mizuki snorted, making me blush in embarrassment. Katsumi laughed along with him.

"Idiot Satsu-nee!" She squealed. I grumbled as I flick her forehead she whined and held her head.

"Bad, Katsumi-chan." I stuck out my tongue at her and she did the same. God, this girl is really making me sad with her antics.

"I think I have the solution to that." Agni-san said. I looked at him as he removed his sweater and put it on Amaris-san. He took a few step backs and went down on all fours. He honestly looked stupid in that form and it wasn't going to help us, he's just going to fall face first.

"What are you doing? You look weird." Katsumi states as she laughs, I look at her and was about to scold her but, Agni-san just chuckles slowly and looks at her.

"Just watch." He said and winked as he looked down again to focus, all of a sudden his body and clothes became feathery, his hair became long and feathers sprouted. Smoke starts surrounding his body as he grows in size we even had to look up. We all gaped as our eyes widened in amazement and fear. In a few seconds he became a creature I've never seen before, he had a body that seemed to resemble a lion, his head became a bird with the unmistakable beak that could probably break any bone in your body, I tried forming a word but I can only form gibberish.

"Wha-what...what happened." Mizuki managed to gasp. The eyes of the creature look at us and he seems to seep out of pride.

"Woah!!! A Bird!! A puppy!!" Katsumi shouted as she jumped and ran towards it.

"Katsumi!" I called out in fear.

"Calm down Setsu-chan, it's still me." he chuckles, his beak didn't open as he spoke and it honestly spook me but it's still amazing. He lowers his head and nuzzles Katsumi, "So? Am I still weird?" He asked as he looked at us with a glint of pride mixed with mischief.

"Yeah! You still look weird!" Katsumi giggled, he just looked at her and almost laughed out loud but he simply just used his tail to tickle her "Oh yeah? If that's what you think, I'll never let you ride on my back!" He said. Katsumi started laughing and squirming away from Agni-san.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She said in between laughs, "I'll never think of you as weird again!" She squealed. As they continued on their assault Mizuki and I watched as she squirms and laughed out loud, we both watched utterly shocked, she would always make a person feel mad or just insulted, but instead Agni-san was here making her laugh her heart out. She only ever did that with us and our dads, but never to a complete stranger, which was why she was so exclusive, she always had a hard time making friends, and always struggled to keep herself out of trouble.

Agni-san stopped tickling her and just laughed, she panted as she walked towards me and slumped her body weight on mine.

"Agni-san...is...so...cool." She said, I patted her head as I smiled. I carried her and looked at Mizuki.

"Wait for me while I put Katsumi on Agni-san. We'll carry the others too." I said and walked towards Agni-san. He lowered down his body as I grunt and lifted Katsumi to put her on his back.

"Stay put there, okay?" I asked her, she looked at me and nodded. Katsumi lay her head on Agni-san's soft red-ish orange feathers, she grasped them and caressed her cheeks while muttering. I chuckle and as he turns his head towards me, his eyes gaze at me and smiles, "You're a good sister, ne? Setsu-chan~" he chirps, I look away with a blush on my face.

"That's what big sis do, Agni-san." I said he just chuckles and looks towards his siblings.

"Yeah, you're definitely right, Setsu-chan." He uttered. I glanced at him once more and went back at Mizuki and we started carrying the unconscious duo.

We lifted Amaris-san on the bench as I held both her armpits while Mizuki held her legs. We grunted as we tried to be careful but tall people sure are heavy. We managed to put her on Agni-san's back in great difficulty.

"They're heavy." Mizuki said as we went back to carry Aouli-san. We manage to do the same with too much struggle because he is heavier and we are just small people. At last we made him on Agni-san's back. Mizuki and I let out a big sigh and fell on those red feathers. It is so soft that I can probably fall into deep slumber just by caressing it.

I opened my eyes as Agni-san stood up. Mizuki and I stood up too.were out of breath but we had to at least walk until we were finally home, as we were about to take a step forward I heard a rustling of feathers and I looked up at him. His face lowered towards us as he picked me up with his beak.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he put me behind Aouli-san.

"I can at least do this to pay you back a little." Agni-san said as he picked up Mizuki and told him to climb on his head.

"Wo-woah..." Mizuki gasped as he steadied himself on Agni-san's head. He looked up as a bubble of laughter escaped his mouth.

"This..this is awesome!" Mizuki cheered. Agni-san laughed as he started to walk. Katsumi stayed still as she brushed her hand on his feathers, a look of pure bliss on her face. The bodies in front of me started sliding out and I hurriedly got them to sit right. I sighed as Mizuki talked with Agni-san.

"Agni-san, Agni-san..." He began, "You've got an awesome quirk! What's it called?" He asked as Agni-san hummed.

"Well, this form is called Griffin and I have a fire quirk." He said. Mizuki voiced his amazement once again. If he had his notebook and pen with him he would take lots of notes now, like Papa Izuku. We're all carbon copies of our fathers.

"Griffin, huh..." I whispered, pondering where I heard about it. Maybe I read it somewhere in a book and manga I own, I don't really know.

"Agni-san!" I called, he turned his head a little to the side.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Well, Where did you guys come from?" I asked. He smiled at me and he turned his head forward.

"We're from America but we ended up here in Japan because of circumstances." He said and didn't elaborate on their case. I better be careful on picking some words to make him tell me bits about their circumstances, in a way, maybe we can be of any help to them.

"You're a foreigner then! That's cool, this is the first time I saw one!" Mizuki said as he patted Agni-san's head.

"Thanks, Mizuki-kun." Agni-san said.

"By the way, how can you speak Japanese if you're a foreigner?" Mizuki asked innocently. I suddenly felt Agni-san blister his feathers as if to show unease. I caressed them as I looked at the back of his head. His head turned from left to right, it was vague but Mizuki, who sat at the top of his head, made emphasis of his action.

"We...we were taught by our, say, guardians, Mizuki-kun." He said as a nervous chuckle escaped his beak. I raised my brow as I rested my chin on Aouli-san's shoulder.

His actions continued to make me curious about what had happened to them. I just wished it wasn't heavy but as I look at Agni-san brushing the topic off with Mizuki, Amaris-san's wound, and Aouli-san's coma state of unconsciousness, it pretty much spelled danger in every corner. Mizuki had picked on it early on and it just dawned on me now, but they need help, I can't help it, that's what our fathers taught us.

"Ah! That's our house, Agni-san!" Mizuki said as he pointed out our two storey home. He raised his wings and then flaped them. Mizuki nearly lost balance but he held tight on Agni-san's head. I hold or basically hug both Aouli-san and Amaris-san in fear of them sliding off. I saw Katsumi raise her head in surprise but keep her tight hold on the feathers.

"Waaah!! We're flying!!" She shouted and looked down, "Oh! It's our home!" She said.

Agni-san looked at the roof and lowered himself in our backyard.

"That was awesome!" Katsumi said. Agni-san chuckled as he lowered his body on the ground. Katsumi jumped out and fell on her rear but she got up as if nothing happened. Agni-san lowered his head as Mizuki got out too.

"Katsumi, look if our dads are in there somewhere." I said. She nodded her head as she entered the room as she went in, Mizuki and I got Amaris-san and Aouli-san out of Agni-san. He sighed deeply as he seemed to stagger on maintaining his balance. I furrow my eyebrows in worry but we need to take the other two to our room for now.

We got Amaris-san first and entered our house but as we are about to take a few steps inside, Agni-san suddenly collapsed and reverted back to his human self.

"Agni-san!!" I called in fright. Mizuki looked back and widened his eyes, we gently put Amaris-san on the door and we ran to him, as I looked at his still body I saw that one of his legs was in bad shape and he even has bruises.

'How could he have kept that calm vibe around him when he is in so much pain?!' I thought as Mizuki and I ran towards him, Mizuki looked very scared and worried.

"Agni-san..." He whimpered, he seemed to be on the verge of tears, Agni-san just looked up and tried to reassure us that nothing was wrong but he was out of it, his jagged position, his uneven breathing, it was too obvious to tell that nothing is alright.

My hand was trembling as I put it on his cheek, he felt too cold for a person with a fire quirk. His eyes are closed as he puffs out some quick breath. Mizuki looked at me as if waiting for my guidance on what to do but I'm too scared to think. These three could be in even greater danger than the time when we still didn't find them there, if only I insisted on making them go to the hospital, if only I let an adult take charge on this, if only...

"Setsu-chan..." I snapped my eyes open as I looked towards Agni-san. He managed to open his eyes a little bit as he tried to smirk but it came off as a grimace, I blink my eyes as droplets of tears land on my cheeks.

"We're gonna be alright because of you..." He said, I bit my lips as my eyes seemed to blurred, "Thanks to you we managed to escape." He mumbled. I gritted my cheeks as I harshly rubbed my eyes off of those annoying tears.

"Goddamn it, Agni-san..." I whimpered. "I don't even know who or what you've escaped from but here I am." I sniffed as I looked towards Mizuki, he was also crying while looking at me.

"Setsu-nee..." He hiccuped. I gritted my teeth as I fought back another batch of those damn tears. I blink my eyes a few times as I look around and see that the siblings are scattered in our backyard, we need to do this fast.

"We need to get them to our room first." I said.

Timeskip ~

Katsumi had reported back that no dads are in home at all, they all left a note saying that we should be back with the groceries as soon as possible but instead of food we bought literal people. I sighed as I looked towards the three who lay in the temporary clinic inside my room. Katsumi and Mizuki are trying to clean up an unused storage room just in front of my door, we are just gonna tell some excuses that we used it as a playroom or something.

I tie the gauze on Amaris-san as I finally finished patching her up, I hope she wakes up soon. I look towards Agni-san and clench my jaw. He was gripping the futon tightly trying to keep his composure as his other hand held loosely on his wounded leg. Agni-san wore a borrowed short from Papa Shoto so that I can see his leg and it's not really a pretty sight, it's too purple, we kept on insisting that we would treat him first but he was willing to deal with the pain just so his siblings would get their wounds properly checked on.

"I'm almost done Agni-san, just hold on a bit longer." I try to reassure him and myself at the same time. He looks at me and smiles softly.

"Thank you, Setsu-chan." he blurts out with a groan in the end, I clench my jaw more. "I appreciate all the help you've given me and my siblings here. Who knows what would happen if we were left there any longer." I look away to try and hide my reddened face. It's hard being praised sometimes, it just made me shy.

"Welcome, Agni-san." I muttered as I started patching up Aouli-san. As I do my work in silence, I can hear Katsumi's sly cackle in the storage room. It brought a smile to my face as I continued my work.

The calm atmosphere had made itself known in the room, the occasional silent groan Agni-san mutter as he tried to not lay on his bruised leg didn't make me worry that much now, it's all thanks to his reassurance that I can keep the anxiety away for the time being.

I grinned as I finished patching up Aouli-san and turned towards Agni-san. I went and examined his bruised leg and saw that it needs bandages, a pillow and an ice pack. Once I got what I needed, I went back and grabbed his sprained leg and straightened his leg, it made him hissed but proceeded to follow my work. I wrap his sprained foot with trembling hands doing my best to not hurt him any further, once I was finished I lifted his leg a bit to put the pillow underneath and then pressed the ice pack to his foot I sighed in relief and was about to get up until I felt a warm hand against my head. I looked at Agni-san and my semi-colored eyes were caught in his red-orange orbs, he had a wonderful smile, and he slowly ruffled my hair

"Setsu-chan, thank you again....for everything." He said in such a sincere tone it made me tear up a bit, I wipe it away as I grinned.

"You always say that, Agni-san and I'm really happy for it." I said. He chuckled as he closed his eyes.

"We're gonna be fine here, help your lil' siblings." He said, I was hesitant at first but I trust him. I nodded my head as I closed the first aid kit and got up, "Just yell if you need something, 'kay?" I saw him nodding, making me smile as I put the first aid kit on my table and exited the room.

I was about to go to the storage room when I remember I have to call Papa Shoto to somehow tell him about the groceries that we didn't get to buy as I went downstairs and found the phone. I punched his numbers as I held it in my ear. It rang a few as I heard his voice.

"Hello?" He asked.

"Ah, Dad, hey." I said, "Uh...you see Dad, we weren't able to buy food." He hummed as I imagined him raised his brows.

"Hmm? Did something happen?" He asked. Okay, here I go with the excuses. I take a deep breath as I act as if I'm troubled and reluctant to tell it to him.

"Uhm...Katsumi was having a tantrum..." I trailed as I know that he knew that when Katsumi had tantrums something bad would happen. "And...well...she falls on the ice and we have to get home as soon as possible because she's crying." I blurted. I can hear a sigh coming from him.

"Okay, good you guys comforted her." He said. I grinned as he got my bait, "I'm going to buy it instead."

"Thanks, dad. You're my hero." I said. I heard him hummed once again as he muttered a goodbye and hung the call. A smile was on my face as I got back upstairs and opened the storage room.

"Ah! Setsu-nee!" Katsumi chimed as she swept the floor.

"Hey, so what can I help?" I asked. Mizuki pops out on the scattered boxes as webs are strewn across his hair.

"Please, clean the ceiling, Nee-chan." He said. I chuckled as I got the broom for the ceiling that was laying beside the other cleaning material.

"Okay but Katsumi's work will increase." I said as I started sweeping the ceiling.

"Hey!! No!" Katsumi said as she started sweeping faster. I laughed as I fastened my pace too. She grumbled as she walked towards me and raised her broom towards the ceiling, attempting to do what I am doing. I smiled as I swept my eyes in the room and tried to find some kind of platform. I saw one and stopped my work and got it to us. I put it beside me and carried her to perch Katsumi atop it.

"Okay, you good?" I asked. She giddily nodded and started sweeping. It was quiet and calm as we cleaned the room a bit until Mizuki broke the silence.

"Ne, Onee-san do you wonder how they were badly hurt?" I stop sweeping and look at him. I've been trying to think of some sort of reason, Agni-san seems really off when we ask him what had happened to them, I remember his soft feathers frilled when Mizuki asked him and his nervous actions afterwards. It made me frown when I remember how he looked terrified when he thought no one was paying attention.

"I really don't know honestly, but whatever happened to them must have been really scary." I stated, Mizuki nods in agreement and looks down with concern while Katsumi starts to yell.

"WHOEVER HURT AGNI-SAMA SHALL DIE!!!!" She waves the broom around in a small fitz.

'-sama?' I thought with both concern and amusement. It seems she really likes Agni-san a lot, I remember how she laughed when Agni-san was being playful with her. It brought a smile to my face as how she was attached to him and we've only met them today.

"You like him a lot Katsumi-chan?" Katsumi turns red and puffs her cheeks.

"HA??? What are you talking about! O-of course not!! He is weird!!" She stammers, Mizuki and I look at each other and start laughing as she begins to yell a protest at us, trying to stop our little fun time.

Little did we know, our lives were about to change for the better once all of them woke up.

We finally finished cleaning the room, it looked a bit better than what we expected.

"This looks good enough." I say with a puff of pride, "Now all we have to do is–" My words were cut off with a high pitch scream, and a faint 'BAKA'.

We ran to my room as fast as possible, worried that something had happened to Agni-san and the others. I slammed open the door and my little siblings rushed inside as I followed.

"Agni-san!! Are you oka-" I was cut off once again with a lot of laughter, the three of us just stayed still and watched the scene unfold in front of us. Agni-san was off the bed with his sprained leg in the air with Amaris-san and Aouli-san laughing at his state. They stopped laughing and looked at us.

My breath was caught in my throat as I saw the most beautiful purple eyes I have ever seen. It unconsciously hooked me in as I shook the daze from it. Amaris-san smiled at us as her gaze softened.

"Hello there, young one." She said in a powerful voice of some sort, as if she is meant to be something big but was greatly devastated. I can suddenly feel it click as if this meeting with these three was meant to start something wonderful.
