Suit Up-Blue Stahli

Percy POV

Mom was a little cold at first when she met the group I had brought home. I guess some sixth sense told her they were the ones who had made me so tense and irritated. But once they all tried her cookies and complimented her immensely on her awesome baking, on their best behavior, she warmed up to them.

"I gotta go, Perce." Frank told me. "I'm going to visit my grandmother in a little while with Clarisse."

"Alright, see you later, Frank." I nodded to him.

"Percy!" Natasha's voice suddenly echoed from down the hall. "Training time!"

"Can it wait? I've got friends over!"

After a few moments, the assassin appeared in the doorway, arching an eyebrow at me.

"Fine." I drew the word out as I stood slowly.

"Can we watch?" Piper asked tentatively. I bit my lip.

"You chose to tell them." Natasha said quietly, having moved next to me. "It's your choice."

"Sure, just...no videos." I said finally.

"Cross our hearts." Hazel said seriously.

"And as insurance," Tony pulled a small box out from behind the bar. "Phones in."

The group looked at each other, then approached the box one by one and dumped their cell phones in.

"There's bleachers in the training room, you can sit there." I told them. "This way."

They filed behind me into the training room and took seats on the bleachers against the one wall.

"Change." Natasha ordered, throwing a shirt at me.

"Okay, okay, geez." I laughed, grabbing it out of the air.

"I'm going to time how fast you suit up." She informed me.

"Where's my arm?"

"In the duffel bag." Natasha jerked a finger behind her.

I nodded.

"Go!"

I yanked my shirt off with my good arm.

Piper wolf whistled and I balled my shirt up, chucking it at her. I pulled the other shirt on, making sure to check that the wing holes were on the back. You'd think I'd just instinctively remember that by now, but the fact that it's happened before should give you the answer to that.

"Feather up, kid!" Natasha barked.

I gritted my teeth and imagined the wings forcing themselves out of my back, growing bigger and unfurling from their little magical hiding spots.

I started for the duffel bag, but one of Tony's JARVIS powered robots leapt in my way.

"Seriously, Natasha?" I asked as I ducked a sword swing and swisted sideways to kick the thing backwards.

"You may be put in a situation where you don't have your arm, Percy." She replied.

"Fine." Another robot lunged at me and I shot into the air, diving for the bag across the room.

I landed next to it and grabbed the zipper, jerking it back so I could grab my things.

I pulled my mask on first, then slid the mental connector over it.

Something attacked me from behind and I dropped into a crouch.

Twisting and uncapping Riptide, I imagined my fake arm leaping forward as I fought off the encroaching robots.

Cold metal connected with my left shoulder and I shrugged once to get it properly placed.

"Good, now get the other arm." Natasha reminded me.

"I'm working on it!" I focused on the water in the showers over to the left. A small wave knocked my opponents away from me and I quickly returned to the bag, sliding the metal glove over my arm.

"Done!" I shouted.

"Keep fighting." Natasha ordered.

"Yes ma'am." I ducked under an arrow that zinged my way and launched myself back into the fight, using anything I could think of to my advantage.

Thunder suddenly boomed above the tower.

"Mind if I join in?" A voice that matched the sound asked. I sidestepped and a large hammer smashed into the floor where I had been standing.

"Don't overwork him, Thor." Natasha warned as I faced off with the Asgardian.

"I'll be fine." I retorted, spinning forward and using my wing to obscure Thor's vision before slicing at his side.

Mjolnir parried Riptide, barely catching the blade in time.

"You are in good condition, considering the circumstances you have been under." Thor said as we sparred back and forth.

"Good." I gritted my teeth as I blocked another swing from his mighty hammer, which sent a small shockwave my arm. "I felt that."

"That was the intention." He replied with a goodnatured chuckle.

"Alright, I need to train with him a little bit, Thor. No use tiring him out without getting much work done." Natasha stepped in, stopping the fight.

Thor nodded. "I just came to say I must go back home for a short time. There is trouble there and I must attend to it."

"Bye, Thor." I smiled up at him and he gave me a tight hug.

"I shall see you soon, I hope, godson."

"Five minute break, Nat. Please?" I asked after the large man had left the room.

She seemed to be deciding, then nodded sharply.

I walked over to the bleachers and sat down for a moment, using my water powers to shoot a water bottle through the air and into my hand.

"Can I touch them?" Someone asked behind me.

I turned to smile at Piper. "Sure. Careful, some of the edges are sharp."

"That was some sick fighting." Thalia plopped down next to me as Piper tentatively ran her hand along my right wing.

"Do you do this every day?" Jason asked.

"Sometimes I spar with one of the others, or Frank. But I do train every day, yeah."

"That sounds taxing." Reyna commented.

"It can be."

"Hold still." Will suddenly spoke. I froze as he parted the feathers on my wing. "You've got a cut here."

As his finger tapped a spot on my wing as he said it, and I became aware of a stinging sensation there.

"I'll check it after training. Or I can let you check it if you want."

"Time's up, Jackson. Let's go."

[A/N so the people that have been semi-forgiven are Jason, Piper, Hazel, Nico, Thalia, Reyna, Will and Thalia. Reyna, Will and Thalia were told but didn't really do anything. Percy avoided them out of fear that they would do something, not because they did do something. And because of association]
