Annabeth POV

"Are you absolutely sure it was him?"

I glared at Jason, who looked skeptical. "Yes. Who else at our school has blue hair? I followed him the whole way from school to the Stark Tower."

"This is so cool! We know an actual, real life superhero!" Leo was fangirling hardcore.

"I believe you, Annabeth." Piper smiled at me. "What should we do about it?"

"What should we do about it? What should we do about it?! I've got my autograph book in my locker, he's gonna sign it is what's gonna happen!" Leo said excitedly.

"Will you be quieter?" Hazel reprimanded.

"Where's Frank?" Nico asked, wandering over with Will on his heels. He didn't seem to care much about his friend being a superhero, but then again, he and Will weren't as close to Percy as the rest of us were.

"Not sure.... I mean, he got the text too and I said to meet here ten minutes ago." I glanced down at my watch and frowned. "He should have been here by now."

Reyna and Thalia were here, but rather uninterested in the conversation. Frank was nowhere to be seen.

"When is SeaBird gonna get here?" Leo asked excitedly.

"You do realize he's still Percy, right?" Piper asked the Latino boy.

"B-b-but he's SeaBird! He's not just him, he's a national hero, he's famous!" Leo exclaimed.

"Will! You! Be! Quiet!" Hazel hissed, hitting him over the head after each word.

"Ow! Ow, Hazel, cut it out!" Leo whimpered, cowering away and hiding behind Jason, who rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Jackson, how's it going?" Clarisse's loud voice filled the hallway. "Frank." She added. The girl seemed to have started to form a bond with them, though I wasn't sure why.

Our group turned to see Frank and Percy walking down the hallway. Percy had his backpack over his good shoulder and Frank was walking on his other side. They responded to Clarisse with smiles and kept walking.

"Alright, let's talk to him." I turned to them.

"Percy!" Leo waved excitedly. "Over here!"

He ignored them.

"Percy!" I called. "Percy, wait up!"

We followed the two boys down the hall. I caught up with them first. "Percy?"

"Do you need something?" Frank asked coldly.

I flinched backward. "Sorry, did I do something?"

"Yes, you did." Frank replied. Percy was staring fixedly ahead of him.

"Frank, I was talking to Percy. I need to tell him something. Percy, I know-"

"Shut up!" Percy whirled on me, dropping his bag and grabbing my shirt with his good hand to pull my face close to his. His eyes were stormy and I flinched as his gaze met mine. "I know exactly what you know, you little snitch. But if you think that I can just turn a blind eye on your spreading my secrets, you've got another thing coming."

"Percy..." Piper spoke slowly, "I know that you're under a lot of stress right now-"

"You know NOTHING about me!" He roared, making several students in the hall jump.

Frank laid a hand on Percy's arm, though it was clear that he felt the same way the other boy did.

Percy took a deep, shuddering breath. "You are all gonna leave me and Frank alone, got it? And if any of you starts spreading this, know that my uncle has kept this a secret since I was born and he will not hesitate in keeping it a secret. That is, if I don't get to you first. Leave me the Hades alone or I will come for you, understood?"

"Are you threatening us?" Jason asked, stepping forward confidently.

"Yes." Percy matched him, putting them nose to nose.

Just when it seemed like a fight would break out, someone cleared their throat.

We turned to see one of the teachers from the rooms down the hall watching us with a raised eyebrow, tapping her foot lightly against the tiles.

"C'mon, Perce. Let's go before I give in to the urge to punch him." Frank spoke.

Percy turned, an easy grin sliding across his face as he scooped his backpack off the floor.

"That would be your father in you." He pointed at Frank, who rolled his eyes.

"Yes, thank you for pointing that out."

The two boys walked down the hallway, talking with each other and shoving back and forth jokingly.

I stared after them, Percy's words echoing in my head.

'Leave me the Hades alone or I will come for you, understand?'
