Third Person POV

Percy gritted his teeth in pain as he twisted his wrist in it's shackles.

"Just a bit more... Come on!" He snarled.

"Trying to escape, are we?" A sweet voice whispered in his ear.

"How-" He hadn't heard the door open at all.

"Please, I am not confined to mortal means of movement." The woman's voice betrayed her smile.

"What do you want?"

"What makes you think I want something?"

He scoffed through the pain. "You have me chained to a wall and you've been carving into me with a knife for almost a week! Ther-" He cut himself off with a scream as something cold stabbed deep into his shoulder.

"Be quiet and listen to me." The woman's normally sickly sweet voice was ice cold. "You are here because you are in the way. I'm going to be fixing that, but first I wanted to have some fun. It seems, however, that you have served your purpose."

He felt cold hands on the back of his head, slowly undoing the blindfold.

"Y-you're taking i-it off?" He whimpered, his shoulder throbbing.

"Course. I want your final moments to be of me, driving my knife through your chest." The cloth fell away and Percy blinked. The room was a little brighter than he expected. There were no lights except the one coming from the now open doorway, but the room was an icy blue color.

Standing in front of him was a gorgeous woman. Her midnight black hair flowed down her back, unhindered by hair pins or elastics. Her eyes were the same blue as the walls and her skin was paler than porcelain.

"Khione, I assume."

"You would be correct, Perseus."

"For the umpteenth time, my name is Percy. P-E-R-C-Y."

"Don't make me stab you again." Khione held up the dagger she had used. Percy cringed at the sight of his blood covering the blade and his shoulder shot another burst of agony along his arm and his body.

"Good. Now, we're going to do a little exercise before I kill you."

Percy didn't respond, leaning as far as he could away from the crazy goddess.

"Who is your godly parent."

"Wha-" What started as an outburst of disbelief changed to a coughing fit as Percy inhaled too suddenly.

"Answer the question."

"Y-you don't know?" He finally spluttered.

"No. Now answer."

"So you've been holding me here and dumping water over me even though you don't know my godly parent."

"The water was simply to aid the frostbite in keeping your wound from completely healing, along with making sure you kept your arm. Why is that important?"

Percy began to chuckle, feeling blood on his lips as he did so.

"Son of Poseidon. T-that water helped more than you know."

"Ah, a spawn of the sea. How lovely." Khione sneered. "Whose side are you on?"

"Of what?"

"Right, you haven't seen the signs yet. War is coming, Fish-Brain. Whose side are you on? The winning side, or the losing side?"

"Which side involves the mortals of the world?"

Khione rolled her eyes. "The losing side, obviously."

"I beg to differ. See, I'm on that side, and I rather like to think we'll win."

"You won't be on that side for much longer, remember?" Khione pointedly inspected her knife.

"You underestimate me."

"You overestimate yourself." She retorted.

"Do I?"

"Yes. You are weak, underfed, disabled and you have no source of water nearby, if you had the strength to use it."

In the back of his mind, he knew it was true. He had no way out of this.

"I am also stronger than you know, Khione. I hid my powers, I have strength you will never know!"

"May I remind you that I am the one with the knife." Said blade was laid lightly across Percy's throat.

A loud crash rang through the building.

"What was-" Khione's eyes widened. "No! They can't have found out."

Percy could hear the sound of thrusters being fired. His family was here.

"They shall not reach here before you die." Khione smiled sweetly at Percy and brought her knife up.

A yellow blur burst into the room, slamming into her knocking her across the room.

Percy's vision, which was beginning to get blurry from blood loss, must have been failing him. There was a cheetah in the middle of the room.

The yellow-furred cat suddenly began to morph into a man, who unslung a bow from his shoulder and aimed it at the goddess. His boot came down on her knife, holding it to the floor so she couldn't use it.

"Did you find him, Fai Biàn Shēn?" A voice echoed through both the hallway and the earpiece that was in the man's ear.

"Yeah. He's bleeding badly, Hawk, get here fast." The man responded.

"Frank...." Percy murmured before darkness overtook him.

[A/N did you guys know Zhang means 'bow stretch' in Chinese? It is sometimes used to refer to a bowmaker whose job is to stretch the wood. Also, what do you think of Frank's name? I used google translate and his grandmother's name for him in the books so it's Fai(his nickname, idk what it means) and 'Biàn Shēn' means 'shape shift' in Chinese (again, according to google translate)]
