"Quirk Assessment Test?!"

Y/N in her P.E. uniform was confused what that is as she listened.

"What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?" the brown haired girl asked.

"If you're going to become a hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes. You kids have been doing these since junior high too, right?" Aizawa showed them his device with some lists in it.

"Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use your Quirks. The country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their quirks. It's not rational. Well, the Ministry of Education is procrastinating. L/N, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right? In middle school, what was your best result for the softball throw?"

"WHAT?!" the same ash blonde boy shouted, turning to her with an angry expression.

"100 meters." she replied to her teacher, ignoring him.

"Try doing it with your quirk." he said tossing her the ball and she caught it.

She walked over in the middle of the circle and tossed up and down for a bit, thinking of how to throw the farthest. She suddenly got the light bulb and prepared to throw the ball. Y/N tossed it into the air high and released her tail out and jumped, twisting around and slammed the ball hard with her tail like a baseball game and landed softly as the ball flew into the air. Her classmates were shocked with the hit she had given as she made her tail disappear back into her body. Aizawa waited until the beep was heard and he showed her the score. It was 880.06 meters.

"That is the most rational way to form the foundation of a hero."

Everyone were shocked at how much meters he had thrown. The ash blonde spiky haired boy grinned his teeth in anger as his hands twitched with sparks coming out.

"880 meters?! Seriously?" Denki exclaimed.

"What's this? It looks fun!" Mina cheered.

"We can use our quirks as much as we want! As expected from the hero course!" the boy with black hair shouted with excitement.

"It looks fun, huh? You have 3 years to become a hero. Will you have an attitude like that the whole time? All right. Whoever comes in last place in all 8 tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion." Aizawa creepily smiled.

"HUH?!"

"Was that suppose to be a threat or a way to get us to focus on the training?" Y/N thought.

"Last place will be expelled? But it's the first day of school! No, even if it wasn't the first day of school, this is unfair!" the brown haired girl exclaimed.

"Natural disasters, big accidents, and selfish villains. Calamities whose time or place can't be predicted. Japan is covered with unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you want to go talk with your friends at Mickey D's after school, too bad. For the next 3 years , U.A. will do all it can to give you one hardship after another. Go beyond. Plus Ultra. Overcome it with all you've got." he gives them the finger gestures to come at him.

Y/N's eyes glint in excitement for the teacher's challenge.

Test 1: 50-meter dash

Everyone waited for their turn as Y/N went next along with Eijiro as they got ready.

"Just to let you know, I won't go easy on you." he smirked.

"I know. And I don't intend to hold back."

With that she transformed into the full Indoraptor surprising everyone.

"Woah!" the brown haired girl gasped.

"What the--?!" the black short haired boy exclaimed.

"So cool!!" Mina yelled in awe.

Y/N lowered her body on her fours, ready for the run.

"On your mark...Get set..." the robot shoots the gun as the two quickly ran.

Y/N zoomed in like a flash and made it first as the robot recorded her time.

"1.03 seconds!"

She stopped and waited for Eijiro to finish as he did, panting.

"4.15 seconds!"

"Geez! You always beat me into the run!" he panted.

Y/N puffed through her nostrils as a reply and went over to the group of students in her form and watched everyone run as she stood the tallest of all. Eijiro who regained his breath patted her neck while watching them run. She watched the ash blonde hair boy use sort kind of explosion Quirk as he made it to 4 seconds as well as the boy with green curly hair who made it to 7 seconds. Y/N felt someone staring at her and turned to see the boy with two different hair colors. He didn't say anything besides staring before looking away.

"What's his problem?" she wondered and looked away.

Test 2: Grip strength

"540 kilograms? What are you, a gorilla? Oh, an octopus?" the black short haired boy said to the guy with a mask and eight arms.

"Octopuses are sexy."

SNAP!

They jumped at the sound and turned to see Y/N holding onto the now broken timer.

"Whoops."

Her grams are 997.9 kilograms, causing their eyes to comically pop out big. She must have grip it too hard from using her Quirk.

"Hey, L/N. Next time pull it together." Aizawa scolded her putting on the score she had.

"Sorry, sensei."

"She just acted like it never happened.." the class commented.

Test 3: Standing long jump

Transforming into her Quirk again, she easily jumped over and waited again for them to finish. Eijiro couldn't help but grip onto his shirt where his heart is, tearing up that she's growing up and becoming a man. Y/N sweatdropped from hearing him call her manly again.

Test 4: Repeated side steps

She transformed back into her human form again and did the side steps without breaking a sweat just like the small boy with purple grape like hair. Though she doesn't like him because he kept on looking straight to her boobs making her snap her already sharp jaws at him like a snapping turtle.

Test 5: Ball Throw

Good thing Y/N don't have to throw the ball again since she already did and watched the same ash blonde boy throw the ball using his explosion creating a big boom as it flew high. His time was 750 meters. Not close to pass hers as he grew angry while glaring at her. Unfazed with his expression, she looked away with a scoff. He growled feeling irritated with her ignore. Next, was the same brown haired girl as she throw the ball. It was very far away. Her time scored an infinity. Awesome.

"Impressive." Y/N mumbled not knowing the brown haired girl heard her and blushed.

It was now the green curly haired boy's turn as he stood in the circle with the ball in hand. He tossed the ball into the air and his time was 46 meters. But he just activated his quirk as he said. Odd. Everyone turned to see their teacher with his eyes glowing red and his hair floating along with his grey long scarf that slither like a snake. He's almost like Medusa.

"I erased your quirk. That entrance exam was definitely not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted." he said glaring at him.

"Those goggles...I see! You can erase other people's quirks with your quirk just by looking at them. The Erasure Hero: Eraser Head!" the boy pointed out.

"Never heard of him.."

"I heard he's an underground hero."

"From what I can tell, you can't control your quirk, can you? Do you intend to become incapacitated again and have someone save you?"

"T-That's not my intention--" he tried to protest but was quickly cut off by the scarf wrapping around him and pulled him close to the teacher.

"Whatever your intention, I'm saying that's what those around you will be forced to do. In the past, there was an oppressively passionate hero who saved over a thousand people by himself and created a legend. Even if you have the same reckless valor, you'll just be decked and turn into a useless doll after saving one person. Izuku Midoriya. With your power, you can't become a hero." Aizawa hissed, scowling at him.

Izuku is what his name is silent for a moment and had his hair covering his eyes.

"It looks like he received some advice." Tenya guessed.

"Are you worried about him? I'm not at all." the sparkle haired boy asked the brown haired girl.

"Um, who are you?" she asked.

"Probably just telling him he's expelled." the ash blonde spiky haired boy said.

Y/N ignored them and scolded hetself for listening to the teacher's conservation since she has a good hearing, she couldn't help, but feel curious and upset that Aizawa would say some cruel things to Izuku. Next thing happened, Izuku started to throw the ball and uses all of his strength using his finger not his whole hand.

"Smash...!"

Everyone was surprised by the immense power. They noticed that his finger is swollen. His time is 705.3 meters higher than the ash blonde boy.

"Aizawa, I can still move!" Izuku exclaimed with a smile of determination.

"He got over 700 meters?!"

"Finally, a hero-like record!" brown haired girl jumped up with happiness.

"His finger's swollen! He has a strange quirk." Tenya remarked.

"It's not very stylish." sparkle boy said.

Y/N turned and was shocked to see the ash blonde boy's expression like he had seen the ghost. It was funny and weird. He suddenly got angry already and through his eyes he was confused and betrayed? His quirk began to activate as the same explosion sparked from his hands. He then ran at Izuku and shouted,

"Hey! Tell me what's going on, Deku, you bastard!"

Izuku shrieked in fright. Just as he was about to attack Izuku, he was suddenly pinned down by someone on his back. He turned to see Y/N the Indoraptor growling down at him with claws on each side of his head and her feet digging onto his back, carefully without stabbing his back with her long sharp nails. He felt as though frightened but he never show it and was about to push her out of the way with his explosion, but nothing happened. Figuring out immediately, it was their teacher using his Quirk glaring at him.

"Geez. Stop using your Quirk over and over. I have dry eye."

"That sucks. Considering his Quirk is awesome!" many of Class 1A thought.

"We're wasting time. Whoever's next, get ready. L/N, you can get off of Bakugo now." he said before blinking.

Y/N got off of him and walked away, leaving him shaking in anger as she already now his last name since her teacher called her by her last name; she assumes it's his last name. She turned to Izuku as he thanked her for the save. She only nodded and walked back to Eijiro.

Sit ups

Y/N looked around for anyone to do sit ups with until the boy with black bird face came.

"I will help you do sit ups."

"Ah, thanks. The name's Y/N L/N. Just call me Y/N."

"Fumikage Tokoyami. It is a great pleasure to meet you, F/N-san."

Y/N only nodded finding him cool and assumed he's into dark things. She lay down with her hands behind her head and her legs and feet together as Fumikage held both of her feet. When the teacher told them to start, she started going up and down and up and down. Fumikage watches her focus on the sit ups as he find her very admirable for some reason. He decided to be her partner because the first time he saw her in her Indoraptor form, he felt as if she's almost like him with his Quirk. He wondered how powerful and fast she is when she pinned against Bakugo in the blink of an eye like a shadow. Y/N felt his stare and looked at him, but he already looked away without her knowing. Shrugging off, she went back back to do more sit ups before taking turns with Fumikage.

Seated toe-touch

Doing that was easy since her dinosaur Quirk is also very flexible. She reached it up to her toes without any pain. Eijiro sweatdropped that she didn't find it very painful and accidentally cracked his legs for stretching too far for trying to reach his toes.

"Are you okay, Eijiro? It sound like you broke something." she asked.

"N-Nope! I'm fine!!" he smiled forcibly.

"Okay..."

Long-distance run

Y/N activated her Quirk again as she's already on fours like she is going to attack her prey at any minute. Once the teacher told them to start, they all ran as fast as they could. Some were tired, some were not. Except for those who are already in the lead, Tenya, Bakugo, the different color haired boy, the girl with black long pony tail, and you. They are trying to get first. Y/N uses as much speed as possible on all fours that is similar to the panther until she's head to head Tenya. He was shocked that she's catching up to him as he pushed his engine to go faster. Y/N panted through her nose as they are now by the white line with Aizawa waiting. Behind them, Bakugo and others were trying to catch up feeling frustrated that those two are already ahead of them. As Y/N and Tenya were close, Y/N had managed to beat him to the pulp making her first and him second.

Tenya feel defeated that someone like her would surpass his speed.

"Nice run by the way. Tenya, right?"

Tenya imediately straighten up.

"Yeah! Although, I am already defeated by you! I am proud to run with you!"

"Names Y/N. Hope we get along." she said taking her hand out.

"Mhm!" Tenya shoot her hand rather fast as she paid no mind.

"Okay, I'll quickly tell you the results. The total is simply the marks you got from each test. It's a waste of time to explain verbally, so I'll show you the results all at once."

Aizawa showed them the hologram with all their names on it with the number right next to them. Y/N looked from the bottom to the top for her name and found herself first, surprisingly. With Momo, Shoto, Katsuki, and Tenya as she learned their name.

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion. It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your quirks." he creepily smiled again.

"What?!"

"Of course that was a lie. It should've been obvious if you just thought it through." Momo the black long pony tail girl said.

"I actually knew that it was a trick in order to get us to focus on our training instead of having fun." Y/N added.

"I didn't notice..."

"That was a little nerve-wrecking, huh?" the same black haired male said.

"I'll take up the challenge anytime!" Eijiro pumped his fist up.

"With that, we're done here. There are handouts with the curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, look over them. Midoriya have the old lady fix you in the nurse's office. Tomorrow will be packed with even more rigorous tests. Prepare yourself."

Y/N and Eijiro headed to the bus station after their first day in U.A.

"So, how was it?" he asked with a smile on his face.

"It was actually great. Those classmates of ours are very interesting. Even our teacher Aizawa. He can be very strict, but I'm pretty sure he is doing this to push us to be strong and rational."

"You're probably right. He's okay."

They sat down on the bench as they waited for their bus. Y/N took out her book again to read about the Indominus Rex that she was currently reading. Eijiro was curious what she is reading and looked over her shoulder. From what she learned it's a genetically modified species of dinosaur, created by InGen by combining the base genome of a Tyrannosaurus with that of a Velociraptor. Strange. The speaker called and that their bus is here. She closed the book and placed it inside her bag before they went inside, taking their seat.

"Hey! Wait up!"

"Move out of the way, extra!!"

"You move!!"

They immediately recognized them. It was Katsuki and the black short haired boy with bulked elbows that Y/N noticed.

"Ah, you're here for the bus too?" Eijiro asked.

"Yeah. My name's Hanta Sero." Hanta introduced.

"Tch!" Katsuki scoffed.

"Call me Y/N, Hanta. And I believe your name is Katsuki Bakugo."

"Why call me by my first name, lizard freak?"

"LIZARD FREAK?!" she angrily shouted in her mind.

"She's only into first name basis. And her name is Y/N."

"Whatever, Weird Hair."

"The names Kirishima!"

Hanta laughed that they're already becoming friends. Although, Katsuki doesn't think that way, he just let it slide.

"By that way, Y/N, what is your Quirk? I thought it was cool to see you in that form." Hanta asked.

"It's Indoraptor. Basically, it's a hybrid dinosaur."

"Woah! That's cool!"

"I know, right?" Eijiro chimed in.

"Tch!" Katsuki scoffed again as he think that no one's Quirk is as cool as his.

As they were waiting for the bus to move, they heard a scream.

"Huh? What's going on?" Y/N asked.

"I don't know." Eijiro replied.

Hanta looked through the door and screamed in fright and ran right next to them.

"T-There's something out there! Something big!!" he pointed at the opened door and they looked to see the shadow looming in closer until they revealed themselves.

It was the big creature that had a large sail-like flap of skin along its back, huge head, sharp teeth and clawed feet, and long tail. Everyone backed away in fear as it snarl at them. Some were taking pictures or recording at the dinosaur that they thought were extinct is here in the flesh.

"Dimetrodon!" Y/N yelled.

"What the fuck is that?! And what kind of name is that?!" Katsuki yelled with his eyes filled with fear and wonder.

"Is that another dinosaur?!" Eijiro shrieked.

"That's the dinosaur?! I thought they were extinct!!" Hanta said shaking in fear.

"It's the two measures tooth; it's a meat eater. A reptile which lived millions of years before T-Rex set foot on North America and Asia. It is sometimes mistaken for a mammal because it is a Synapsid. Like a lizard." she explained while looking at it with stars in her eyes.

"I don't know what you mean by that, but a meat eater?! Is it gonna eat us?!" Hanta shakily said.

"We don't know."

The Dimetrodon then went in without care and everyone quickly moved out of the way for safety before the door closes. Now they're stuck with that lizard dinosaur.

"What do we do? We can't get out." he whispered.

"How am I supposed to know, dumbass?" Katsuki growled.

"I suggest we just stay calm and not move a muscle. As long as we don't scare it off, we will be fine. Just don't attack. Cause if you do, it will attack you back and then kill you."

Eijiro and Hanta gulped and didn't dare to make a move. Dimetrodon suddenly came over to them, snarling and hissing while sniffing. Y/N gave the dinosaur the animal growl making him growl back. She noticed that it was staring at Eijiro's backpack.

"Give me your bag, Eijiro."

"W-What?"

"Just give it. I think it's hungry."

Eijiro hesitantly gave it to her and she took it, unzipped it, and dug in to find the lunchbox with some leftover inside.

"I was saving it for dinner." he chuckled nervously.

Y/N knew what her friend likes to eat. Meat. She took out the chicken and showed it to Dimetrodon. It sniffed the food for a moment before taking a whole bite along with a bone; it chewed for a moment and swallowed it. The dinosaur likes it. She passed him some more glad that it didn't come to attack.

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"Yeah..."

After she give the dinosaur the last piece, she carefully reached her hand towards its head as Dimetrodon was still eating. Then, she touched his head. He swallowed it and looked up to see her giving him the gentle look and a smile. He leaned into her touch as everyone stood there in awe. The bus then took a stop and she looked up to find her and Eijiro's location. The door opened and the Dimetrodon already left making everyone run away from him. She smiled and walked out along with the other three who are speechless.

"Today's been weird and awesome." Hanta said.

"Yeah."

"Well, gotta go. See you guys tomorrow."

"See ya, Hanta."

Hanta walked home as well as Katsuki as he only told them later before walking off.

"Man, never knew we will bump into another dinosaur." Eijiro said.

"Yeah. If there are other kinds out there, I am sure gonna find them."

Out of nowhere the shadow covered the sky for moment before it disappeared. They both looked up to see something flying ahead and it was gone.

"What was that?" he asked.

Y/N didn't say anything and only smiled knowing it was the dinosaur.

"Let's just go home."
