A/N: here's chapter 3 for ya guys. Also I'm gonna try something different with the dinosaur combat in this chapter.

Timeskip: The next day at the park

Delilah and her friends are sitting in the park contemplating what they should do and how their very first mission went. Kaelin is still looking upset and down about what happened yesterday as she has hardly said a word or even eaten. "Kae you alright"? Delilah asks as the dark purple haired girl sighs as she replies. "I'm okay Dee just still upset about screwing up yesterday". However before Delilah can say anything else Selena walks in front of Kaelin and says. "Kaelin you didn't screw up yesterday. Remember that yesterday was our very first mission and the first time any of us used those cards, I'd say you did well". Kaelin looks up at Selena and responds. "But that Gaius guy yesterday destroyed me and I didn't stand a chance". Selena very swiftly replies. "Who knows how long he's had those cards and it's safe to assume him and his friends are more experienced than us. So we'll just get them back next mission". There is fire in Selena's eyes that Kaelin can't help but respect as she stands up and says. "Alright Selena you win this time".

However everyone's Dino Holders begins to emit a bleeping sound as they take a look to see a flashing red dot somewhere in China, the group all look at each other and nod their heads as they all take off running for the lab.

At the lab

"Hey sis, we think a new dinosaur has been located"! Delilah yells as they rush in with Lucy yelling in reply. "Correct its in Sichuan, be careful"! As the teleporter is then activated and the group are sent off to their location.

Somewhere in Sichuan

Again the group land in a forest like area still a bit dazed but less so as they slowly begin to adjust to the idea of being teleported everywhere. "Let's do what we did last time and check for any signs of dinosaurs". Matt says to everyone as they all agree and begin to thoroughly search the area for any clues that might put them on the right track.

"Hey I think I found something"! Taylor yells as the rest of the group run over to see two large footprints, these ones are very different from the Anchiceratops from yesterday. These tracks have three toes to them and the way they are imprinted into the ground show that these footprints belong to a bipedal animal. "These are definitely from a Theropod but other than that I can't say anything else". Kaelin says as Matt replies. "Well lets follow these prints and see where they lead". The group nods as they follow the tracks for a few more minutes and then suddenly they hear something cry out in pain and they blindly rush towards the noise. After another couple minutes of running they come across two creatures, one of which has just been killed and seems to be a form of deer and the other creature is a large bipedal dark grey almost black dinosaur with bright red eyes.

"That's a Yangchuanosaurus! Be careful everyone its a distant relative of the Allosaurus"! Cody yells as Selena runs forward with her Dino Holder and dinosaur card in hand. "Lemme get this one guys, Kaelin's fight yesterday has given me the itch"! Selena yells as she slashes her dinosaur card down as she shouts out. "Burn 'em down, Abelisaurus"! As a large harmless burst of flames expands from the card as the large light green and yellow carnivorous dinosaur appears and as the two dinosaurs spot each other they let out a roar and begin to circle trying to find an opening.

The Abelisaurus moves goes to bite at the right shoulder of the Yangchuanosaurus with the teeth sinking into the shoulder but the Yangchuanosaurus manages to get out the grip and then goes for the left flank of the Abelisaurus. But the other carnivore is faster than the dark grey dinosaur manages to just move out of the way and tries to return fire with a sweeping tail strike to the neck of her opponent, the tail smashes into the neck of the Yangchuanosaurus knocking the creature off balance briefly.

The Yangchuanosaurus lets out a deep roar as another dinosaur appears from out of nowhere, this dinosaur is a bit smaller than the Yangchuanosaurus and is a dark grey and brown colour. This new dinosaur has some sort of purple gas emanating from its mouth as it runs towards the Abelisaurus with Selena yelling. "Aliyah look out"! However it was too late as the teeth of the new dinosaur sink into the leg of the newly dubbed Aliyah however she is looking a little bit weaker than before as Aliyah is panting.

"Don't worry Aliyah helps on its way"! Selena yells as she pulls out one of her move cards and slashes it down as she shouts once again. "Tupuxuara Dive"! As a flying reptile with a large wingspan comes flying in attacks the new dinosaur as it jumps up and attacks the Tupuxuara and the two take each other out. "Lets see how you like this attack Yangchuanosaurus"! Selena yells again however before she can do anything another dinosaur comes bursting through the forest and slams its head right into the left side of Aliyah knocking her over. "What the hell"! Taylor yells out as a figure emerges from where the newest dinosaur came from, as they step closer the group see that the person is a woman with long dark crimson red hair that gets lighter towards the tips and is tied in a braided ponytail and this woman has dark blue eyes. The woman is wearing a sleeveless open black coat that fades to orange the lower down it goes and as it reaches her knees it seems to split into a V shape, underneath this coat she is wearing a long sleeved dark red t shirt along with white leggings and black heeled boots. "I hope you don't mind me interfering in this fight darlings". The woman says with a mature almost sultry tone as she produces a Dino Holder but hers is a fiery red colour as she extends her hand and says.

"Torvosaurus be a dear and get rid of that Abelisaurus will you". As the group look at the Torvosaurus they notice it is much larger than both the Yangchuanosaurus and Aliyah with it also having a dark navy blue colour with a dark orange flame like pattern across its side. "Oh no you don't Aliyah fight back with some help". Selena retorts as she produces her second move card and slashes it down and yells out. "Death Fire"! As Aliyah pushes the Torvosaurus away as she creates this huge flaming meteor from her mouth and sends it crashing down onto the Torvosaurus, the attack lands onto the Torvosaurus creating a humongous explosion of fire as everyone braces from the impact, Selena has a grin on her face but her grin slowly fades as the smoke clears and the Torvosaurus is still standing.

Selena looks shocked as the woman takes advantage of Selena's hesitation and orders her dinosaur to attack Aliyah which it does slamming its tail into the right side of its face and then spins around and slams its tail into the injured left leg of Aliyah sending the Abelisaurus flying and while in mid air she begins to turn into a card. "Know to get what I came for". The woman says as she produces a move card and casually slashes it down while calmly saying. "Magma Blaster". As the Torvosaurus produces this beam of fire and launches it towards the Yangchuanosaurus but the dark grey dinosaur produces its own flame that sticks in its mouth and it full sprints towards the Torvosaurus, the Yangchuanosaurus manages to duck the attack as it begins to rapidly close the distance just as the Torvosaurus stops its Magma Blaster attack the Yangchuanosaurus leaps into the air and tries to bite at the back of the Torvosaurus's neck.

However the Torvosaurus moves out the way and while the Yangchuanosaurus is in mid air the Torvosaurus fires the remaining Magma Blaster at the Yangchuanosaurus sending the dinosaur flying and reverting to card form as two extra cards come floating down and as the group minus Selena run for the cards the Torvosaurus stomps right in front of them halting them in their tracks. "Sorry darlings but these cards are mine". The woman says as she gives them a sly smirk as she recalls her Torvosaurus and disappears in a flash of light. Selena comes running back with Aliyah's card as she looks genuinely heartbroken at what had just happened, as she raises her head to look at the group but she can't bring herself to say anything as tears begin to form in her eyes as Cody rushes to her and embraces her. "It's okay sis like you said we're essentially new to this whole thing, but the more we do this the stronger we'll get and I believe in all of us". Selena smiles as she returns the hug as Delilah smiles at the interaction between the siblings as the group then re group and then leave for home.

In a random location

The woman appears in the same location Gaius had the other day. "Welcome back Carmilla". A voice calls out as the now named Carmilla bows slightly to them and replies. "Thank you Merlin, I succeeded on the mission and we now have a Yangchuanosaurus as well". The now named Merlin smiles as he replies. "Well done Carmilla, you may use the Yangchuanosaurus as you see fit". Carmilla nods as she leaves the area.

A/N: and that concludes this chapter for ya guys, hopefully ya guys enjoyed and I'll see ya guys next time. In regards to how I handled the combat in this chapter I think I'll keep it for now and see how it goes through the next couple chapters.
