Kimi has a contract with the Raven Devil, a medium-sized raven-like devil with eyes scattered across its body. She sacrificed an eye and some blood to form the contract, along with constantly giving the devil any kind of shiny thing she can find. The Devil is often perched onto her shoulder and is willing to listen to Kimi when needed.
The devil can transfer its sight to Kimi and shoot its feathers out as projectiles, these feathers come out razor sharp and Kimi can use them like daggers.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ⋮[𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬/:/𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬]
Since Kimi is missing her left eye, her field of perception is limited. To see out of the Devil's eyes she needs to close her remaining eye. Also when transferring Kimi cannot control the devil's actions only speak into its mind.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ⋮[𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭]
The user must sacrifice an eye along with blood to be able to see out of the Raven Devil's eyes. The user must also provide shelter for the devil to make its feathers turn into weapons.
Finally in order to keep the Raven devil under control, the user must give the devil shiny items whenever it asks, though some things can't be given, with the simple words, "I am unable to acquire that" with a solid reason as to why the Raven devil will comply

✰Before Chapter 1⋮

✰Gun Devil⋮
Small Kimi, ran to her older siblings' room, brightly bursting through the doors to see the twins fixing each other's ties, "Mimi knock next time!" Chou, the female twin laughs a bit, tightening Katashi's tie tighter than needed, effectively choking him. "Hey! Quit it! Chou, you're gonna kill me!" He gasps out the two laughing a bit, "we'll be off now Kimi, make sure you feed Marsh, mum will be home later" the twins moved past her and left the small house. Kimi stands there pouting a little, wishing they would stay longer. They were Public Devil Hunters...at the age of 17, it was a generational thing on both sides of her family. Her Mother and Father also being devil hunters, leaving Kimi home alone often for hours on end.

Playing with their pet cat, watching tv, anything to pass the time while they were gone. She was a quiet and lonely kid, being homeschooled for most of her life.
Kimi quietly sat on the couch, Marsh laying in her lap fast asleep as she silently watched tv, eyes glued to the tennis match going on. She kicks her feet lightly before freezing up as everything turns black, lights going out instantly. Marsh jumped up from her lap and ran off, loud noises coming from outside. Immediately as this happened Kimi got up and ran to her room hiding under the covers.

Seconds, turned to Minutes, turned to hours, and nothing her mother was supposed to be home by now right? She visibly jumped as the front door was slammed open, "Kimi! Kimi!?" Katashi— Kimi shot up in bed and ran over, to see her brother a look of panic over his features, absolutely winded, behind him, an unfamiliar male. Katashi quickly scooped Kimi up in his arms, holding onto her tightly. "Kata? Where's Chou?" Kimi asks in a small voice, they were never separated. He tightens his hold on her immediately afterward, tears falling on her shoulder, "Katashi?"

✰Devil Hunter⋮
The next few years for the two were painful, the male that had come to their place with Katashi was Shoichi, a co-worker of Katashi's and...someone important to Katashi. The three ended up getting an apartment, Katashi, and Shoichi still working as Devil hunters, instead of private hunters. When Kimi turned 18 she started working in the same division as the two, going on missions often at Katashi's side.
"Kimi, you should make a contract with the Raven Devil" Katashi spoke softly at the dining room table eating quietly with Kimi and Shoichi, "hm? Raven Devil?" "Yeah...mom was contracted with it...he's, he's not that bad of a devil...just annoying—at least mom said he was" Katashi explains earning a side glance from Shoichi, "You'd have to sacrifice something though...Amaya, your mother, sacrificed her eye and was able to see from the raven's eyes and manipulate its feathers" Kimi listened to Shoichi, "I'll think about it" she whispers to them.

The next day, Kimi was escorted to a dark room with a cage, doors closing behind her before hearing a deep voice resonate through the room, "Are you sure you're related to Amaya, you look nothing like her, your eyes are too kind" Kimi tenses up before slowly walking over, "I am...I came here to make a contract with you" she spoke softly removing the cover from the cage to reveal a Raven in the large cage, it seemed normal besides the pure golden eyes it had, practically staring into Kimi's soul, "you sure do sound like her though" he chirps moving closer towards Kimi, "I'll make a contract with you" "Good...what do I have to give you? For control of your sight and feather manipulation?" Kimi spoke firmly.
"Your eye...and personal shelter" The bird wasn't smirking but Kimi could tell he was, Kimi nods, "alright, go ahead" "well you have to come closer idiot" the bird caws flexing its wings, multiple eyes opening throughout its body, each a different color, all human eyes...Kimi slowly leaned in before jerking back a little as the Raven suddenly lunged forward at her, talons opening and jutting out from the bars of the cage. The force of the bird slamming into the side of the cage caused it to knock over, Kimi wasn't fast enough to pull back, one claw stabbing her directly in the eye, once it found to purchase the other claws clamped around her eye, causing Kimi to scream out in pain. The cage fell to the ground, the bird refusing to let go of Kimi's eye, it ripped directly out of her skull from the sudden force. Blood splattering everywhere. Kimi let out another scream of pain as the bird pulled back, adjusting its position before the bottom of its beak dislodged, the entire torso of the bird ripping open before forcing the eye in. The Raven bashed its head roughly against the bars as the beak went back to normal, breaking out of the cage.
"Thanks for the eye, names Kuro by the way, excited to be your new partner Kimi" Kuro chirps watching as she doubled over and vomited from the horror and pain of what just happened, "You'll be fine, come on now! I require shinies!" The bird proudly waddles off looking back towards Kimi expectantly. Once Kimi lifted her head, hand covering her face to stop the bleeding staring dead at Kuro in horror, an eye slowly formed on the bird's neck, the same color as her eye, it focused in before looking back at Kimi, squinting a little as if grinning before she collapsed forward due to blood loss.

Kimi silently walked down the halls, a blank look over her features, it's been a year since she's made a contract with Kuro, the Raven devil perched up on her shoulder, Katashi had gotten into a pretty bad accident, and immediately afterward he quit, Shoichi following in his footsteps, protected by the devil hunters they lived comfortably in the apartment, eventually Shoichi proposed to Katashi, Kimi feeling uncomfortable being around the two fiancés she found herself keeping to herself more often, keeping away, going on missions on her own. That is until she met Makima.

"I'm making this special division to hunt down the gun devil" Makima started hands behind her back as she looked at Kimi, "I want you to join it" Kimi frowns at her words, a small part of her wanted to do this, she wanted to hunt and kill the gun devil but... "what do I get in the end?" Makima smiles a bit at this holding eye contact with Kimi, "Promised safety for your brother and brother-in-law" Kimi narrows her eyes, "You promised them this almost a year ago" "Things change, they are practically living for free and we can't afford that can we?" Makima hums softly making Kimi clench her jaw, "Leave the division and we will kill them, destroy the gun devil...and you can retire happily, now, let's meet your new buddy, and roommate" "Roommate?"

"You can come in now, Aki"
Kimi glances over her shoulder as the door was opened to reveal a new face. Blue eyes met her remaining eye, "This is Hayakawa Aki, your buddy while you're here in division 4" Makima introduces the two, "and your roommate Kimi" Kimi looks back towards Makima quietly, "Yes ma'am" she spoke softly before the two were dismissed.

Kimi silently walked beside Aki, avoiding his gaze as they left the building. The two walked in complete silence, not one of them knowing how they should start a conversation with the other, "So—" "don't worry I'll be moving out as soon as I'm able to" Kimi spoke softly, glancing over towards him, "okay, take your time, I'm not rushing you" Aki mumbles gaze glued ahead of himself as they walked. Silence drifted between the two once again, 'maybe I'm being too stand-offish...' "why did you decide to become a devil hunter?" Aki suddenly asked, "Family" Kimi mumbles to him, "you?" "I'm after the gun devil" His words made Kimi stop walking watching as he walked a few more paces ahead of Kimi before stopping and looking over his shoulder towards her. "Something wrong with that?"
"No" Kimi shakes her head a bit moving to his side "Not at all...a reason like that can and will keep you alive" she mumbles gaze drifting off to the side quietly avoiding looking at him as they continue walking.
The brunette quietly walked into the apartment with Aki, glancing around, it was quiet...cozy in a way. "I have a spare bedroom for you" Kimi nods along with the male moving to the spare bedroom silently, and setting up her room silently.

Kimi started settling in, she was making sure she wasn't a disturbance to Aki, quietly cooking for the male in the kitchen humming. "I don't particularly know what you like so I just made something basic," she says softly passing him a bowl, watching as his gaze dipped to the bowl in his hands and then up towards her, a small smile appearing over his features, "thanks"

Kimi quietly cleaned the counters wearing earbuds to make sure she didn't disturb Aki, swaying her hips around a little along to the music, "I think this is the first time I've seen you smile since we've met" Aki mumbles moving to clean his dishes causing the female to visibly jump and pull out her earbuds, "I'm not—I'm not smiling" "mhm, of course," Aki mumbles to her cleaning the dishes, "You don't have to clean the dishes—" Kimi starts watching as he lifted his head towards her, "You cook I clean, to make it easier on both of us" Kimi stared for a moment before slowly nodding along, "right..."

✰First Mission⋮
"We're going to send out a team of three, Himeno, this is Tsutsumi, Tsutsumi this is Himeno, your senior" Makima introduced the two, watching as Kimi glanced over towards Himeno earning a glance in return and a smile.

The three were soon dismissed, Himeno moved to Kimi's side holding her hands behind her back, "So, you're Aki's new roommate hm? He speaks of you often" she says leaning forward a little, Kimi looked at her then glanced over towards Aki, noticing that he was avoiding looking at the two, "Hopefully only good things" she says before looking towards Himeno watching as her senior gave her a thumbs up.

The trio walked up to a building quietly, Kuro flying down and landing on her shoulder making her visibly flinch a bit. Avoiding his golden eyes that stared directly at her, "Alright, let's go" Aki whispers slipping under the police tape, "There's a devil up on the fourth floor, it's seemed to take over the entirety of the fourth floor." Aki pulls out a necklace, attached was some small fragment, it looked almost metal, "what is—" Kimi started before falling silent as Kuro's talons dug into her shoulders, his deep voice ringing in her head, "that's a fragment of the gun devil! Lemme have it! It looks so shiny!" The Devil chirps in her head making Kimi frown, "never mind" she says walking behind Himeno as they started making their way to the fourth floor.
Buzzing filled the trio's ears as they walked into the fourth floor, Kimi reaching over and plucking a feather from Kuro, watching as he puffs up at this before shaking himself adjusting himself on Kimi's shoulder, watching as the feature elongated and started to resemble a large blade.
"Oh, that's an interesting contract" Himeno coos looking at the blade, "c'mon let's get this over with...I want to go visit someone after this" Kimi mumbles following Aki's lead.

Kimi huffs, reaching into a large fly devil's corpse, pulling out a metal fragment, and holding it up, "this is it right?" She asked softly, Himeno moving to her side, "yep, Aki! Tsutsumi found it!" "Kimi's fine" Kimi mutters, passing over the fragment before dropping the weapon watching as it flutters to the ground, turning into a pure black feather before turning to ash.
"We should celebrate, drinks are on me" Himeno claims before watching as Kimi visibly frowns, "I said I have to—" "one drink can't hurt right? If anything they can tag along"

Kimi awkwardly sat between Shoichi and Aki in a small corner booth, listening to Katashi, Shoichi, and Himeno talk each other's ears off, sipping her cocktail quietly, "we can go home whenever you're ready" Aki leans over and whispered to her, "sounds like someone wants to go home" Katashi laughs a bit turning his attention towards the two, heavy blush over his cheeks indicating that he was intoxicated. Aki lifts his head towards her brother, staring for a moment before pulling back from Kimi quietly leaning back against the seat slowly. "Kimi~" Shoichi coos before leaning over to her whispering in her ear, "Have you let him hit yet?" He whispers hiccuping a little before Kimi blushes heavily pushing Shoichi back, "Sh-shut up, I'm ready to go home Aki" Kimi said before nudging the two blocking her exit, watching as they got up before getting out of the booth, "Thanks Himeno" she mumbles about to leave before Katashi grabbed her hand and slipped something into her hand. She looks at it, a heavy blush over her cheeks, "Disgusting" she huffs pushing it back into his hands and quickly leaving the place with Aki.

The two walked in silence, "so what did—" "nothing!" Kimi hisses out, shaking her head quickly, "it was nothing" she mumbles moving a bit ahead of him as they walk.

Kimi quietly opened the front door to the shared apartment, "Aki, I'm back with some suitcases..." she trails off a little hearing someone singing from the bathroom, her eyebrows furrowed a little at this, "How long are you going to take in there!" Aki yelled, obviously a bit pissed. Kimi moved her bags into her room glancing over the clothes she had laid out, having to do a quick double take, "where are my panties?" She asked mostly to herself, furrowing her eyebrows a little. She quickly turned on her heel making a beeline to the laundry room, "Where the fu—" "oh I didn't realize you were back..." Aki sighs out deeply Kimi's eye twitched a little, "Multiple questions, who is the horrible singer in the bathroom—along with where the fuck are my panties!?" Kimi yelled. Aki's eyes slowly widened in realization, "I'm going to kill that gangster!" He yelled and went towards the bathroom.

Kimi quietly stood in the doorway of her room, staring daggers at this blonde who sat on his knees in front of her, "I'm sorry for..." he trails off a bit making her raise an eyebrow, "for what? Look at me" "thighs..." Kimi's eye twitched a bit before she slammed the door on the male, yeah she was going to move out as soon as tonight.

Kimi quietly made dinner for the three a bit pissed off, she definitely wouldn't be able to get along with this new recruit, especially if he was a pervert...
