I suddenly find myself in a dark void...

I can't see anything...

Is this always something when people reincarnate? Or... are my eyes just closed? I tensed my eyelids and sure enough they're tightly shut, I begin to open them and see that I was overlooking a large forest, to the left had been snow covered mountain peaks and to the right was a bright reflecting blue lake, truly an amazing view. "Woah, this. This is amazing" I said, then glanced down before reeling back gazing at my hands. I can see what the deities meant when they said I was going to be a Dragon born, I had scales and claws on my arms and hands.

I inspected the rest of my body to find any other sign of reptilian traits, aside from my feet being similar to a dinosaur's and a long lizard like tail that's about it. As for my overall appearance, I had the same face as my original body did, only a bit younger, I was rather fit, had dark red hair, had brown scales in my face, Amber eyes, dinosaur feet and clawed hands. As well as a lizard like tail. As for clothing, I wore a purple t-shirt with light blue highlights, a brown leather vest. -!; denim jeans.

"Wow, this is so surreal" I said inspecting other areas of my body, I then felt an energy build up inside me "oh yeah, they also gave me the power to become a dinosaur right? I may as well test that out."

I closed my eyes and focused hard, envisioning what dinosaur I wanted to become, with so many options I decided to choose the ever side Famous Tyrannosaurus Rex. Making my choice my eyes jolted open as my body radiated an Orange aura as it began to change. I grew in size which rivaled the trees around me, my arms shrank substantially as my fingers merged together, becoming two fingered clawed hands. My head began to extend outwards with with my teeth growing and sharpening, I closed my new jaws with a loud boom as my legs shifted form, becoming longer with my foot extending. My toes also merged together to become large three towed clawed feet which I stomped hard on the ground making a small tremor.

My tail then grew larger and bulkier as my clothes somehow disappeared, then multiple small feathers grew on my arms, and on my head my existing hair turned into the same kind of feathers as I let out a loud and powerful roar. Once my transformation finished I was amazed by what had happened, I still can't believe it, I am a real life bonafide dinosaur, specifically a tyrannosaurus, with jaws that can crush bone and hyper acute senses. I'm a total juggernaut, "woah amazing, it's almost like a dream" I said, then decided to let out a loud and very proud roar, I looked around and noticed that I was seeing farther than I ever could in human form. 'Oh that's right, Tyrannosaurs had been known to have extremely good eye sight. Able to see anything from six kilometers away, and being able to make out anything they see in great detail. Huh, I wonder who came up with the idea that a T-Rex can't see you if you stay still anyway? Especially if they have eye sight this good?'

I looked around more before turning back "wow, that was a rush" I said before walking forward, "I better stay like this for now, don't want to scare anyone-?!" And just like that I fell off a cliff that was directly in front of me. I really should've paid more attention to my surroundings, "ahhh?!?!?!" I screamed before my arms suddenly transformed, growing longer with my last two fingers extending with skin membranes growing between them and my arm, before I hit the ground I clapped my arms which managed to catch an air current. Apparently I had turned my arms into large pteranodon wings, "woah?! I guess I can isolate my transformations to parts of my body, that's very good to know" I said before flying back down, then had landed safely at the base of the cliff.

"Whew, that was close, I really should be more careful" turning my attention to the outstretched earth, there had appeared to be a cave dug into the side of the cliff. Feeling curious I looked inside and saw multiple scratch marks on the walls, and judging by my tyrannosaurus smell, there was an animal living here. It's scent is all over the place, smells familiar though, then I picked up another scent, it's blood, unfortunately it's human blood. "What the" using the eyes of a troodon I acquired night vision and saw several bloodstains on the walls. What's worse a skeleton in the center "dear Garb!" I said backing up, suddenly i sensed danger and jumped out of the way with raptor legs. Narrowly dodging something fast and strong strike the place I was standing.

It was definitely a monster, a purple manmal with the torso and arms of a gorilla, with the head, tusks, tail and legs of a boar. "Holy cow, what sort of freak of nature is this-Woah?!" I dodged another incoming attack as it tried to strike at me, then a voice spoke answering my questions

Answer - The creature which is attacking you is a chimera beast, Chimera Beasts are monsters spawned from cursed springs which are made by flooding water over the remains of various animals and monsters. This chimera beast in particular is called a Boarrilla

It said, this must be the Sage of Knowledge the Deities gave me.

Correct on your assumption

"Right, well how do I defeat this thing?!" I asked running around as the beast pursued me, the monster then opened its jaws before shooting a fire ball at me as its entire body was enveloped in flames. "You didn't mention this thing had fire magic!" I yelled dodging the fireballs.

Answer - the Boarrilla possesses no natural affinity for fire and had most likely acquired its pyrokinetic abilities by swallowing an elemental crystal

I then leaped into the air as it struck the ground kicking up a copious amount of dust, taking a chance to hide I jumped into the large dust cloud. "Okay then big guy, you wanna fight? Let's fight, Mano E Mano, monster vs Monster" I taunted before transforming again. This time it was a herbivorous dinosaur, my body grew twice the size of a rhinoceros, I got down on all fours as my arms and legs became large and log like, strong enough to support immense weight and charge fast. My skull then extended with the tip becoming a short beak similar to that of a parrot's, then three large horns had grown straight out of my head. And the back of my head grew a large bony frill with two large eye spots for intimidation.

This powerful three horned tank was Torosaurus, a relative to the triceratops which was bigger and had a much larger frill. "I'll warn you right now to back off, or else" I warned scratching the ground with my front leg as bulls sometimes do. The ape pig then growled before shooting me with a fireball, which had little effect due to the ceratopsian's durable skin, "nice try, now it's time for me to return the favor" I said before roaring at it. Then had charged at immense speed, ramming it straight in the chest pushing it back, it's skin turned out to be pretty durable because I only knocked it back. The beast tried to punch me again with a flaming fist only to miss as I side stepped out of the way, then had ran to get distance.

Prompting it to chase me, once I got enough speed I immediately turned round and charged back, landing a strike in its gut. This time my horns did damage and pierce the Boarrilla's skin, "got ya this time!" I said confidently as I forced the creature back more. Seeing it was about to try to punch me again I backed up and swung my head upwards. With one of my horns gouging it's hand as it swung at me. It roared in pain before pulling it's arm back, bleeding profusely, "and I ain't done yet!" I then changed again, my horns and frill sinking back into my head as my skull had shrank. I assumed a bipedal form as my forelimbs became long arms and my front feet became long three fingered claws that were several feet in length.

The clawed terror of the Cretaceous, Therizinosaurus, I let out a loud cry before repeatedly slashing at the pig ape. My long claws cutting its skin deep, I then threw a strong slash to its arm as it tried to guard itself from me. The result has ended with its hand getting severed off by my claws. It then trembled before roaring in pain clutching its amputated stump, "not so tough now are you?" I taunted before shrieking again and ran at it.

The boarilla attempted to throw a flaming fist at me when I slashed at him again, reaping another hand off. Getting even more furious it charged again, knocking me down onto my back and forcing me to revert back. "Ow, Jeez this thing isn't playing around" I grunted, then yelped before hovering above it with feathered wings. "Okay, I think it's finally time to end this!"

I flew behind the beast before transforming into a Tyrannosaurus Rex, it turned to face me and fired off more fire balls. I charged back, tanking every blast he sent before roaring loudly and chomped onto his neck with my sharp teeth and powerful jaws. "Better say your prayers, this beast's got a bite force of over 12,800 lbs per square inch, just enough!" I then knocked to the ground before biting its head "to tear off that ugly face off your body!"

With a mighty pull I ripped off the creature's head, finally ending it, panting I spat the head out and transformed back to my normal form. "Man, that was rough" I sighed, then remembered the skeleton, "it'd be a shame to leave it there, I should at least give them a proper burial."

Less than an hour later I had buried the man a few miles outside the forest, "I'm sorry" I said kneeling. I then went back to the cave, "hmm, it could work for a home" I commented.

Query- it is advisable that you stay here, it is spacious enough for most of your saurian forms. I also suggest that you take over the Boarilla's territory, as this place is a crucial home for the alpha creature in the forest. By doing so all residents of the forest will respect you and will be under your command.

Sage had said, "well if that is what you recommend, I should probably start by detecting the area of its territory and after start marking it" I replied. I had then transformed my head into a Tyrannosaurus's and began smelling the air. The creature had a territory that encompassed nearly the entire forest, how does a beast like this manage to take over a whole ecosystem? Well it is a hybrid between a boar and a gorilla, and pigs and apes are known to be extremely intelligent, the boarilla must've known that owning this place guaranteed it a steady supply of food. "Okay, I've gotten a good idea of the span of the territory I need to claim, though the question is, how do I do it? I hope I don't have to... mark my territory like a dog do I?" I cringed feeling a bit embarrassed that I would have to... er, urinate everywhere.

Answer- You can mark your territory by either urination, scratching the area around your turf on nearby plants and rocks, or simply radiating out your magic aura and allowing it to encompass the general area.

"Well that saves me a lot of embarrassment down the road" I said, very relieved that I won't have to, for lack of better words, piss like a puppy on every plant in the area. I then got to the highest point of the forest, which had been on the cliff I was on when I first arrived, then sat down and began meditating. As soon as I had done so my body began radiating a bright Orange aura, before I got reincarnated Garb and Arldarn had taught me the basics of utilizing magic. One of the more important parts of using magic in this world is that if you desire to exercise your power, meditating is the key. It allows you to gauge how much power you have, and if you have large amounts of power you can use this technique to pull in your outward aura in order to conceal your true strength.

Once I released my true strength... to say I was surprised is a heavy understatement, my aura not only encompasses the entire forest, but also a large area of the field. "Hold on, where did all this power come from?!" I exclaimed, I then realized it was my lucky Amber amulet, the deities had mentioned the Amber had the life essence of all the dinosaurs in the Mesozoic era. It was also mentioned that the moment I died that life essence merged with my own, that meant this massive amount of power came from 65 million years of raw, untamable, and unrelenting prehistoric strength. No wonder my aura encompasses the entirety of the forest, back to the task at hand, I had a good idea of the area I needed to claim. Then as per Sage's instructions I had sent a wave of power through my aura, which had saturated into the surrounding environment, thereby marking my territory.

I sighed and wiped the sweat off my brow as I pulled my power back in, "man that was daunting. Well, at least I have a home now" I then used large deinocheirus claws to slide down the cliff and back to the cave. Right when I entered I noticed that I still didn't take care of the Boarilla's carcass, "oh yeah, that. Hmm, hey appraisal, Sage" I called out.

Two voices then spoke.

Yes master?/yes master?

I noticed that Sage and Appraisal were not the same individual, Sage spoke with a regal and mature voice and tone, fitting of a wise and somewhat all knowing being. Appraisal meanwhile spoke with a young enthusiastic voice, I guess it is also fitting since they do sound like a happy teenager who's excited to learn.

Sage: What in the?! Oh appraisal, I didn't think I'd run into you.

Appraisal: Heyo Sage! Didn't think we would have the same master again, great to see yah.

'Well it seems like they get along...' as soon as I thought that-

Appraisal: You old hag.

"Spoke to soon" I sighed as they started bickering, turns out Sage and Appraisal, while both are immensely powerful skills, they are totally opposite. Sage is a voice of complete omnipresent knowledge, able to inform its user about anything they would need to know. Appraisal is a skill that analyzes and learns about things the user encounters, then afterwards educates them about every detail regarding it. While both skills are used for the same purpose they have their own ways to do that which conflict each other, Sage being a teacher who knows already and Appraisal being a tutor who learns as they teach, and it's because of their similar nature they have a small rivalry, oh it should also be noted that both skills identify as female. "Okay That's enough you two!" I roared trying to get them to focus.

Both: Yes Master!/Yes Master!!

"Okay then, first off. Appraisal, can you analyze my dinosaur forms. And when you're done, give the knowledge to Sage" I ordered.

Appraisal: Understood Master!

My body then lit up with a yellow aura as appraisal appraised my powers, "Sage, once she gives you the information let me know" I said.

Sage: understood.

After a good few minutes, Sage notified me that she got the information, "okay thank you" I said fanning the boarilla carcass with a feathered wing, in order to keep pesky flies off it. "So Sage, would it be possible for me to, Umm, safely consume this carcass if I were to use the form of a carnivorous dinosaur?" I asked as I needed to get rid of this thing one way or another, plus I was also a bit hungry.

Sage: Answer- You should be fully capable of consuming the chimera as a carnivorous dinosaur without risk of poisoning.

I sighed in relief.

Appraisal: affirmative, in addition dinosaurs like the Tyrannosaurus rex are opportunistic carnivores, meaning they'll eat any source of meat they can find. Because of this they actually have a strong resistance to food born illnesses such as parasites, rotten meat, and food poisoning.

I shivered as she said that, but I was relieved since I knew that this gave me a major advantage. "I see, thank you both" I said, then turned my attention to the carcass "Well, here I go" I then assumed my tyrannosaurus form and began to eat the Boarilla. Will admit, it tasted bitter, but over all it does satisfy my hunger, "this at least saves me the time of cooking" I commented as I kept consuming. "Tastes kinda gamey, to be expected of wild boar, the gorilla part tastes kinda off putting" I added, then was co fused as I bit into something odd, I retracted my maw from the body and turned back. Then spat out whatever I had which had been a small red crystal, it was also very warm to the touch "hmm, Appraisal, Sage? Mind telling me what this is?" I asked.

Appraisal: oh what you have there is something called an elemental crystal, this one in particular is a Pyrocirate. Otherwise known as a fire elemental crystal.

"Ah I see, but what was it? And why did the Boarilla have it in inside its body?" I asked inspecting it.

Sage: Answer- Elemental crystals carry the energy of the natural elemental forces such as fire, water, earth and air, along with various other elements, and by consuming them monsters and other creatures can obtain elemental affinities that enhance their strength. Overtime this will end up affecting the individual's body to allow them to evolve into higher level elemental beasts.

"Oh I see, it's like a specific enhancement. Hmm, Sage, Appraisal, run a survey" I said pocketing my new loot and turned back into a tyrannosaurus. "Would it he possible for me to use the elemental crystal myself if I were to consume it?" I asked before going to town again.

Both: running survey, analyzing diagnostic.

I continued to eat, wondering what I would be able to do.

As I was almost finished both skills spoke up.

Both: Survey complete

"Good, so what's the verdict?" I asked chewing on some meat.

Appraisal: User Draka Sauron will be able to consume and utilize the fire elemental magic of the Fire Crystal.

Sage: in addition, you have an additional skill that can further increase its power, this skill is called Total absorption. By continuously eating the Boarilla you have exercised this ability to the point where you can absorb magic through digestion, and in turn fully absorb the power of fire. Not only that but your body has extracted a new ability from your illness resistance, that being corruption resistance.

'Corruption resistance? That sounds like it could be useful' I thought, "what is corruption resistance?" I asked.

Appraisal: Corruption resistance is a powerful skill that protects the user from being corrupted, whether by divine or demonic energy. Used against the elemental crystals it will inhibit you from evolving into forms such as a flaming tyrannosaurus, allowing you to remain the same in addition to using elemental power.

"Cool" I said finishing off the last of the Boarilla, I then noticed a small black orb where the body once laid "hey what's this?" I asked appraising it.

Appraisal: answer- this item is something known as a Life core, it can be sold for commercial profit, but a little known fact is that if anyone, monster, beast or human, consumes it it increases their overall stats and power.

"Oh neat, well, down the hatch" I had tossed the core into the air, then had turned my head into a T-Rex's and swallowed it as it landed in my mouth. Once my total absorption skill kicked in I felt a rush of power surge through me, increasing my strength, health and overall power. "Woah, talk about a head rush!" I then let out a powerful roar, the roar had shook the entire cave. Feeling a little more gutsy, I then looked at the fire crystal before swallowing it. In a moment my entire body was engulfed in flames "talk about a burning sensation, but in a good way!" I said smiling, then blasted flames from my mouth towards a random rock.

Upon contact the rock was obliterated, "this should be useful" I said. Then appraisal spoke again.

Appraisal: Notice, you have now acquired new powers from consuming the fire crystal.

Sage then replied

Since you have the fire element now, you can enhance your physical attacks such as: punches, slashes, tail strikes, kicks and charges with fire, which has the power to burn your opponents as you strike them. This also gives you the bonus effect of combustible melee skills, which allows you to create powerful explosions when you strike.

"So now I can give my attacks the ability to burn and explode? That's very useful!" I said, then went straight to work with training my new powers, combining my natural dinosaur abilities with flame power. By doing so I acquired the following abilities.

"Hrah! Fire Charge!" I roared before charging at a large stone as a triceratops, my horns then lit ablaze before I struck, completely demolishing the rock. Smirking at my handiwork I turned back, my stomach then growled loudly, it's been quite a while since I ate that Boarilla "oh jeez, maybe there's something to eat" I said before noticing the forest. Smiling I went over to one of the trees, then had turned into a large oddly shaped dinosaur, it had the body of a large theropod, with long arms equipped with huge claws, a small sail on its back like a spinosaurus, and it's head was similar to a duck with its snout being a bill. This bizarre looking beast is Deinocheirus, one of the oddest dinosaurs ever discovered.

I walked up to one of the low hanging branches before reaching up and began eating, since I can consume raw meat as a large predator, surely I can safely consume plants as a large herbivore. As I ate I noticed a small bird land on my back, I smiled and allowed it to stay as I continued to forage, soon more birds came and perched on me. Not that I minded, "what's with these birds? You'd think that they'd be scared of me but they're casually perching without a care in the world" I noted.

Sage: answer- due to you claiming the territory of the forest, all the creatures have felt your presence and have already begun flocking to you, in hopes to earn your protection.

I then noticed more animals surrounding me, "oh, umm, hello" I greeted, the animals then began speaking to me, as it turns out due to the nature of my abilities I am able to understand animals if they spoke to me. They had all wanted to get my protection, as the new alpha of the forest it's technically my job to keep the balance in check and make sure the forest itself, including the creatures who live there, are safe. I sighed and assured them that I'll protect them, though there were some creatures that had a different idea. Instead of asking for my protection they wanted to end my life in order to hunt the animals much easier, a few included diminutive green goblins and pig like orcs.

Luckily I was able to make short work of them due to my strength and power as a Dragonborn as well my dinosaur shifting abilities. Today however, I was finishing up making some furniture for my cave, lucky a heard of wild sheep had become residents of the forest and as an offer they allowed me to have some of their wool. Actually they were pretty grateful that I took it, looked like they haven't been sheered in a while and it's been bothering them. After I was done assembling a table I heard howling, "what the?" Walking outside I turned into a Utah raptor and used its expert tracking abilities to find the source of the noise.

I noticed a family of horned rabbits I've met prior running and saw what was chasing them, a pack of large lion sized wolves! I chirped before growling and chased them, as protecting horned rabbits is important. They hold an affinity for the plant element, and it's they're job to revitalize and bring life to the forest if it ever feels sick. Which is how for the two winters I've been here snow never made it towards the ground, the rabbits used their power to continuously grow the tree canopy and shield the underbrush from the inhospitable cold.

3rd Person POV

The rabbits kept running before they ran into a dead end, they turned around and were met with large snarling wolves. The leader then walked up looking smug as Lightning sparked around his body "well well well, a bunch of helpless little horned rabbits" it said through its animal communication. "W-what do you want?" One larger rabbit said, attempting to stand its ground to protect its family, even though it was trembling in fear. "Aside from Having some nice rabbit stew" this remark made a few baby rabbits flinch, "I heard there was a new alpha in the forest. We want to exterminate him, once he's good and gone we will be free to reap this forest's bounty for ourselves!" The Wolf alpha said.

The family had terrified faces thinking about it, the large rabbit then shot several splinters at the Wolf from its horn. It hit, which only irritated the canine, angry he blasted Lightning at the rabbit. Thankfully the small lagomorph used its plant magic to create a barrier of wood to shield its family and created wood armor on itself to shield from the direct blast.

However the Lightning had blew up the wood knocking the mammal back as the Wolf stepped on it with its paw. "Well well, and here I thought rabbits didn't have a backbone. You're pretty brave for thinking you can harm me, I'll admit that. But now I shall have you for dinner" the Wolf smirked before electrocuting the bunny more in a sadistic way. "G-go to... hell..." the rabbit coughed as his plant affinity was somewhat shielding him from the electricity. Before the Wolf could sink it's fangs in, a familiar voice called out. "Hey zap happy!" Suddenly a tail smacked the predator in the face, then it had been bitten hard and thrown back to its pack.

In front of them was Draka still in Utah Raptor form, "s-sir Sauron" the large rabbit wheezed, "rest up young lagomoprh, I shall handle them now" He said turning his attention to the wolves. "Ah so you must be the new Alpha here, I was wondering when that stupid chimera was gonna die. Always hogging all the forest to itself, least now I can say I killed the beast who slain him" the Wolf said. "Don't be so sure fur face, as the new Alpha to this forest I made a promise to protect all the creatures here. And I'm gonna keep it!" Draka then roared loudly before reverting back to his normal form. "Ahh so you can shapeshift, now matter, I'll slay you either way!"

The Wolf then charged with electricity arcing throughout its body, Draka then inhaled before letting out a powerful torrent of flames which created a firewall, blocking the beast's path. It grunted before satiating a yellow aura of lightning and sped right through head butting the Dragonborn and causing him to shoot back. Grunting from the hit, Draka has grappled the Wolf as he was being electrified before turning his arm into that if a Deinocheirus and clawed him in the back. Causing him to howl in pain, "w-what the?! Ahhh!?!?!" Draka then bit his neck hard to get him to stop.

He then swung a strong tail club and bashed the Wolf into the ground "stop! Brother!" One Wolf said running to his sibling's aid, Draka saw before turning his tail into an apatosaurus's and whipped it at the incoming Wolf which smacked him away. "I-won't... lose!" The downed leader then bit him, causing Draka to roar, then he lit his body on fire which burned the predator. "I think it's time you surrendered" he said before punching the Wolf hard enough to send him flying into a tree, then charged and bashed him with triceratops horns. He then backed up and walked back to at least heal the rabbits to some degree using a rare herb he collected.

"Brother!" The Wolf from before then ran to his downed comrade, "brother, it shall be okay, we'll take you to the springs, that should-" before he could finish the leader spoke. "Useless, the Alpha, he did me good" he said coughing, the leader then stood up, and braked at the Dragonborn. "Hey!" Draka turned his attention to him, "what is it?" He asked facing the Wolf, "why don't you finish what was started, boys, get out of here" the leader ordered "no! I will not abandon you brother!" The beta said staying by his alpha. "No! Alpha! Face me! I'll let you end my life, but please spare my pack" the alpha said surprising them. "B-bit brother" "it's final! Ahh?!" The Wolf then collapsed on one paw before falling to his side, Draka then walked up to it "why do you wish for me to end you?" He asked kneeling to the Wolf. "You-(cough) you beat me in combat, so that means my pack no longer has an alpha... I'll let you take my life, but please. Spare my brothers and sisters" he panted more, as he began to succumbed to his injuries.

Draka POV

I felt sorry, sure the Wolf wanted to kill me and take over the forest, but he was doing so in order for his pack to be fed. This Wolf is a loyal leader, going as far as to sacrifice himself to protect his pack. I sighed, then placed an herb in his mouth and made him eat it, the alpha Wolf began to glow as his injuries healed themselves, the other wolves were amazed by this. After a few minutes the Wolf stopped glowing and opened his eyes, "h-huh? Wha... what happened?" He asked standing up, "I healed you" I answered. This took the alpha by surprise "b-but why?! We tried to kill you! We were going to eat all the animals here, why did you do it?" He asked confused.

"While all of that is true, and while I really didn't appreciate you trying to eat the horned rabbits, especially due to the fact they replenish the forest's life energy. You were only looking out for your family, as a leader you did what you thought would help your pack, additionally you were willing to sacrifice yourself in order for them to live. If that doesn't say you're a good person, then I don't know what does" I explained. The wolves looked stunned, I then left them while relocating the rabbits to a safer area.

Four days later

I had been napping in my cave, enjoying the feeling of my new wool bed, frankly I'm very glad my new body isn't allergic to wool. As I was snoozing I heard some sheep bleeting, this woke me up instantly because I recognized it as panic, exiting I saw the wolves from earlier. "Hey what are you all doing here?" I demanded turning my arm into a Therizinosaurus's, "Alpha, we have come to be of service" the alpha Wolf said. Confused I spoke again "what exactly do you mean?" I asked, the beta Wolf spoke this time "even if we threatened to slay you, you spared all of us, and even healed our alpha and my brother. Because of that we are forever in your servitude" he explained, then both he and his leader bow their heads in respect, following was the rest of their pack.

I looked in awe, the small number of wolves I saw earlier was merely a fraction, among them were nearly hundreds of wolves all bowing to me. I shook off my shock before sighing "very well then, but I have some conditions" I said, "we will listen Alpha" the leader said raising his head. "First off, so long as you're under my servitude, I forbid you from attacking any of the other animals who live here. While I understand that this forest is abundant with prey, most of the animals are very rare and important creatures, with most of them having abilities and responsibilities to give life to the forest. If you kill one of them, it will severely affect the forest, causing it to slowly die" I explained.

The leader bowed "right, I understand sir" he said, "now, if you are hungry, I will grant you the freedom to hunt any invasive creatures that enter the forest or animals that are outside of the forest's boundaries. The invasive creatures you should hunt because they aren't native here, and may bring harm to the forest" the wolves nodded. I then gave them a tour around my territory, showing them which animals are native to this place and showed them what animals are invasive. Afterwards I had constructed several large dens for them to live in, "whew, that should do it" I said, "it's more than we deserve, thank you lord Sauron" the alpha said "you're welcome... er... sorry but what is your name?" I asked him. "Well, unlike the rest of my clan, I actually don't have a name, my father, the previous alpha, had died before I could be named" he explained as the rest of the wolves inspected their new homes.

"Wow, I'm sorry for your loss, hmm. No self respecting creature should remain nameless" I said going into some deep thought, trying to think of a name. He's a fierce and ferocious warrior, that must I can be sure of, however this Wolf is also a loyal and kind leader, willing to give his own life to save his pack. Hmm, well there's also his unique lighting power, wait wasn't there a kind of beast in Japanese mythology that was a Wolf with lightning powers? Ah that's it, "okay then, I'll name you Raiu" I said, the Wolf gasped before his body began to glow as letters seemingly manifested above him. The letters spelling out the name I gave him, the name then phased into his body as he howled with power. He then smiled before bowing his head "thank you master! I shall live up to this great name you have given me!" He said, he then howled to his subordinates. In response two Wolf pups ran out of the forest at high speed, then returned with a yellow crystal. "Is this an elemental crystal?" I asked picking it up "ah you have a good eye, yes this is indeed an elemental crystal. In fact this crystal came from a cluster of elemental ore that had been struck by a powerful lightning bolt" Raiu explained.

"Hmm?" 'Sage? What is Elemental ore?' I asked her.

Sage: Answer- Elemental Ore is a type of magic crystal that naturally occurs in areas rich in magical energy. It has adaptive qualities in which it takes on the characteristics of whatever elemental source is nearby. Which allows it to become elemental crystals. In addition, if a baseline elemental ore cluster is placed in a place full of elemental power, it shall grow larger and larger as it absorbs elemental energy, then it becomes an elemental crystal based on the environment it was placed in.

'So these ores take on the characteristics of whatever element that's nearby. Interesting' I thought, "so you want me to have this?" I asked, "yes, it is our gift to you as thanks for your mercy" Raiu said. "Well, thank you" I smiled at them, then swallowed it whole, just like before elemental energy surged through my body. This time my body sparked with bolts of lightning, "amazing, thank you for bestowing me with the power of lightning Raiu" I thanked before testing it out. I turned into a Styracosaurus before suddenly bolting in one direction, while at the same time I went to he quarry where I trained my fire powers and had charged towards a large Boulder. Then had obliterated with my new ability Lightning Charge! now with my new lightning element I was as fast as lightning and as strong as thunder.

For the next several years I stuck to my normal routine of being the alpha guardian of the great forest of Martisia.
