Indianapolis National Airport

One foggy day in Indianapolis Indiana, an airliner at the Indianapolis International Airport was firing up its engines. The passengers were scrambling to find their seats before the plane moved. Before long, they found their seats and the plane took off into flight. The plane was on course to Paris, France. On board was a group of young women who were going to Paris for a relaxing vacation. One of them was a lovely lady with beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous black hair. Her name was Carly Rose.

Carly was from New Castle, Indiana, but eventually moved to Greenfield. She loves traveling, and Paris was a place that Carly wanted to visit for a long time. She looked down as they flew over the Pacific Ocean.

"I can't believe we're finally going to France." Another lady said.

This was one of Carly's friends whose name was Daniela Martinez. Her blonde hair stretched to the center of her back, and her eyes were a gorgeous green color.

"Me neither. I always dreamed of going to Paris when I was a little girl. And now, here I am going there on vacation with my friends." Carly replied with a smile.

A few of Carly's other friends laughed. Marie Steele was a fair skinned lady with blue eyes and beautiful black hair.

Clementine Rochefort and her twin sister, Delphine looked alike, but they had some differences. Clementine was a tomboy with sun-tanned skin, while Delphine was more of a beauty queen with fair skin. Clementine's hair was brown while Delphine's was blonde.

"This is gonna be a great trip." Clementine said.

"I agree. It's a shame the boys couldn't come with us." Delphine replied.

Carly's smile faded. Delphine was right. Clementine was dating a handsome young man named Kenshiro Watanabe, who moved to Indiana from Tokyo, Japan. Delphine's boyfriend was a guy named Kou Leifoh. Daniela was in a relationship with Jotaro Kenzo. But Carly had the best boyfriend among the rest. His name was Garath Webb. They met each other at a local gym close to New Castle, where Carly used to live with her parents. And during the time from when Carly lived in New Castle, Garath never gave up on their relationship. He always did everything he could to cut out time for himself and Carly to be together even after she moved to Greenfield. A few months ago, they had gone camping at Hidden Paradise in Saint Paul. And they always kept in touch over the phone. But right now, Carly wished that Garath was on the plane with her. She loves him more than any other human on the face of the Earth, which was the main reason as to why she moved to Greenfield: She wanted to be close to him.

"You really miss Garath don't you?" Daniela asked.

"Yes. He's the sweetest man I've ever known. And lately, we've been planning on living together in a cabin in the woods of Montana." Carly answered.

"Don't worry. You'll be together soon enough. Maybe someday, you two could go to Hawaii." Clementine replied.

Carly smiled again. Clementine was right. Carly had always wanted to go to Hawaii, and so has Garath. So maybe they could go there someday.

Suddenly, the girls heard the sound of something landing on the roof of the plane.

"What was that?" Delphine asked.

"I don't know, but keep quiet." Carly answered.

There were more thuds on the roof of the airliner. But then there was the sound of banging. And suddenly, a sharp beak broke through the ceiling and nearly grabbed Carly's dress. More beaks broke through, leaving large holes in the ceiling. Carly looked out her window and saw something land on one of the plane's wings. This creature stood 6 feet tall and had a 33 foot wingspan. There was a large, pointed crest on its head. Others just like it were flying nearby, but they lacked feathers. The one on the plane's wing looked at Carly and let out a loud screech.

Carly's eyes widened with fear when she saw the teeth in the monster's beak.

"What are these things?!" Daniela asked.

"I don't know! I've never seen anything like them before!" Carly answered.

Some of the birds attacked the engines and made short work of them.

"Attention passengers! This is your pilot speaking! The engines have been destroyed and we're going down! Put your tray tables up and make sure your seatbacks are in the full upright position!" The pilot said over the intercom.

Carly and her friends quickly buckled their seatbelts and did everything the pilot said. The plane picked up speed as it took a nosedive. Carly squeezed her eyes shut and held onto the arms of her seat. The plane crashed onto solid ground and skidded to a stop. Carly opened her eyes. The plane seemed to have crashed onto a beach.

The pilot staggered out of the cockpit.

"Is everyone okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. We're fine. A little shaken up, but we're okay." Daniela answered.

Carly looked at the pilot.

"What were those things that attacked us?" She asked.

"I happen to be an expert in paleontology. And those were Pteranodons. But I don't get it. Pterosaurs and marine reptiles died out alongside of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. What's even more confusing is that Pteranodon means Toothless Wing. But the Pteranodons that attacked us had teeth in their beaks. That doesn't make any sense." The pilot answered.

Carly and her friends were confused.

"I agree. Those Pteranodons are supposed to be extinct. How could they be here in modern times?" Delphine asked.

"I don't know. But I think we should try to find shelter. And whatever you do, stick together and don't wander off. There's no telling what kind of dangers could be in that jungle." The pilot answered.

"He's right. Maybe someone will send help to rescue us. For now, we should focus on survival." Carly replied.

With that, everyone gathered their belongings and headed into the jungle to find shelter. Unfortunately, their troubles were only just beginning. Because they landed on Ibis Island, where a top secret experiment had gone terribly wrong. And now the island was infested with monsters that were created during the experiments: mutant dinosaurs that were formed by combining human with dinosaur DNA. Each one had its own unique abilities and they all had one thing in common: these monsters are extremely aggressive and will attack anything that moves.
