Garath followed the Navy crew to the port. The USS Enterprise was far out at sea, but he could still see it. The Naval sailors left their SUVs in the parking lot, but Garath drove straight towards the water.

"What is he doing? Is he crazy?" One sailor asked.

"He's gonna get himself killed! We gotta stop him!" Another sailor replied.

One of the sailors managed to contact Garath by radio.

"Garath, you're headed for the water! Your car can't travel on water! Hit the brakes!" He said.

But Garath laughed these words off.

"My car will run on water. Because brother, I built this baby with my own two hands using the finest parts and state of the art technology. So she's got a few tricks up her sleeves. Watch this." He said.

Just as Garath was about to go over the edge of the dock, he hit a blue button on the dashboard labeled Boat Mode. The car was launched into the air by turbo jets in the undercarriage and transformed into a ZR48 Corvette Speedboat.

The Naval crew could only watch in amazement. They'd never seen a car turn into a boat before.

"Wow, that is so cool. Where can we get technology like that?" A male sailor asked.

"I don't know, but it certainly would be an upgrade." A female sailor answered.

The crew jumped into their own speedboats and went after Garath. But Garath's boat was even faster.

"Come on, step up your game boys. Show me what you can do." He said.

One of the male sailors laughed.

"Oh, it's a race you want? Bring it on." He said.

The other sailors laughed and joined in the fun. They went full-throttle and some of them caught up to Garath. One of the sailors managed to pass Garath, but the crafty young man had a plan.

"Who's the slow poke now?" The sailor asked mockingly.

But Garath only smirked.

"Hmph. You won't be in front for long, buddy." He said.

Garath rested his finger on a red button on the dashboard labeled Turbo.

"Turbo system, engage!" He said.

Garath pressed the red button and his boat picked up speed. He zoomed right past the Naval sailor in front of him in a flash. All the sailors could see was a black blur speeding towards the USS Enterprise. Within mere moments, Garath arrived at the ship and waited for the crew.

"Whoa. That was insane. There's more to him than meets the eye." One of the sailors said.

"No kidding. Who knows what other kinds of tricks he has in store?" Another sailor replied.

As the crew pulled up to the starboard, Garath hit a black button with white letters forming the words Land Mode. The ZR48 Corvette boat was jettisoned up onto the ship as it transformed back into The Gov'ner.

"If you thought that was cool, wait until ya see the flight modifications I put into this baby." Garath said with a smirk.

The crew boarded the ship and led Garath to the main bridge.

"Captain, we've got him. And Carly wasn't kidding about his abilities. He actually anticipated our attempts of bringing him onboard. She was also right about him being an inventor. He actually built his car using the finest parts and state of the art technology. Along the way to his house, we got an up close and personal demonstration of some of the weapons his car has. And when we arrived at the port, Garath showed that his car can turn into a cool speedboat. Heck he challenged us to a race to get here." One of the sailors said.

"It's true. And apparently Garath's car also has flight modifications we haven't seen yet. He is full of surprises." Another sailor replied.

Braedey smiled.

"Well done crew. Head for the living quarters for some food and rest. You've earned it." He said.

The crew went to the living quarters on the ship, leaving Garath alone with Braedey and Jasmine.

"Gotta say, I didn't expect Carly to be dating someone as handsome as yourself." Jasmine said flirtatiously.

Garath laughed.

"You flatter me, Lieutenant. But my heart belongs to Carly Rose. And speaking of which, I heard that she somehow ended up stranded on Ibis Island." He said.

Braedey frowned.

"Yes. From what she told us, Carly was going on a vacation to Paris with some friends. But while they were flying over our vicinity, their plane was attacked by Pteranodons. The plane crashed on Ibis Island. Carly and her friends survived the crash. The pilot led them to an abandoned lab complex for shelter and set off a smoke signal to help us find them. But then he was attacked and killed by a pair of Velociraptors." He said.

"We've lost some men on that island before. And a surviving member told us that some of those dinosaurs can take a lot of bullets before dying. But what's worse is that our weapons are useless against the larger dinosaurs on that island. If anything, our explosives only piss them off." Jasmine replied.

Garath paused for a moment. He's heard about these creatures before. But he never expected to go to their place of origin to rescue his girlfriend.

"Well, my guns don't use bullets. The plasma energy core within them provides unlimited ammunition, and I don't even have to reload them. My laser swords can cut through anything. So, I can handle those monsters." He said.

Braedey looked at Garath with a look of seriousness.

"Yes. We believe that you can do it. And we know that you work alone. But Carly and her friends aren't the only people stuck on that island. There's another group of survivors in that same lab where the girls took shelter. Their leader's name is Jacob. He was one of our best soldiers alongside of Patrick Tyler, Sonya Hart, and Regina. We sent them there to rescue a couple of ladies named Caren and Paula who have been trapped on that island for a long time. But a T-rex destroyed their means of getting back to us, and they've been stuck there ever since." He said.

"Don't worry, if Jacob and his team were to meet up with Carly and her friends, they'll be safe. Since Jacob and his squad were on the island for an extended period of time, they know where to find supplies to hold out. But Carly needs you." Jasmine replied.

Garath thought of this for a moment. Regina was someone he loved in high school before she left him for a douchebag named Dylan. Although he has forgiven Regina, Garath wanted nothing to do with her. But knowing that Carly was now trapped on Ibis Island was all the reason he needed to venture into such dangerous territory.

"Alright. I'll do it. But I'm gonna be carrying a boat for Jacob and his squadron. Because I do not trust Regina in the slightest. Not after high school. Carly means more to me than anyone else in the world. And I refuse to leave her with Regina." He said angrily.

The rage in Garath's eyes sent chills down Jasmine's spine. She had never seen anyone quite so agitated. But Braedey knew the reason why Garath didn't trust Regina, and decided to let it go.

With that, Garath went back to the deck and climbed back into his car.

"Hang on Carly. I'm coming." He said.

He pressed a green button labeled Jet Mode. And the car transformed into a fighter jet.

As Garath took off into the air, he used a magnet to carry a speedboat to the island. He wanted to make sure that Jacob and his squadron had a way to return to the ship. But more importantly, he wanted to get Carly away from Regina as soon as possible.

Abandoned Lab
3rd Person POV

Carly and her friends were in the living quarters of the lab complex. They had a few raptors come by, but the monsters never found the humans. However, Carly knew that it was only a matter of time before the dinosaurs found them. And she also remembered what Delphine said. There could be bigger dinosaurs in the jungle which were likely to be far more dangerous than the raptors they've encountered so far. She hoped that Garath would be here soon. She wanted to go home with him.

"Don't worry Carly. I think Garath is on his way here right now. While keeping watch over the complex, I spotted a jet carrying a speedboat overhead. It was headed for the same beach where our plane crashed. But it was unlike any jet I've ever seen. So I believe that it was more than likely to be your boyfriend." Clementine said.

Carly looked at her in surprise.

"You saw Garath flying over us?" She asked.

"Yes. He must've seen the smoke signal, and he was probably gonna leave that boat by the beach where we crashed. So more than likely, Garath knows where we are, and he's on his way." Clementine answered.

Carly smiled. She knew Garath would come. Even if it has only been a few days, Carly had missed him terribly.

"You saw that jet overhead?" A male voice asked.

Carly saw someone standing in the doorway. He had blue eyes and short brown hair. His outfit looked like an astronaut suit, but it seemed to hug his body. And he was holding some kind of shotgun.

"Take it easy. I'm not gonna hurt you. My name's Patrick Tyler. I got stranded here alongside of my squadron a few months ago. We were sent here to rescue Paula and Caren. But our boat was destroyed by an angry T-Rex. So, we found shelter here. Although, we never expected anyone else to take shelter in this lab." He said.

Carly mustered up courage and walked up to him.

"I'm Carly Rose. I was going on a trip to Paris with my friends Clementine, Daniela, Delphine and Marie. But our plane was attacked by Pteranodons, and we crashed on the beach on the east side of the island. Our pilot led us here and set off a smoke signal. But he was attacked and killed by a pair of Velociraptors. We contacted the United States Navy for help, and they said that their ETA would be about two weeks. But my boyfriend got here in only a few days. For all I know, he's the only one who can get us out of here." She said.

Patrick smiled.

"Seems like you found the right guy. He certainly has a lot of guts to come here and rescue you. I just hope he'll be able to make it here in one piece. Because those dinosaurs are everywhere. My team and I barely escaped from the T-rex that destroyed our boat, and all our weapons did was make him even angrier than he already was, seeing as how we unintentionally invaded his territory." He said.

"Don't worry, Garath can handle himself. Plus he has futuristic weapons that he built with his own two hands. He'll be fine." Carly replied.

Ibis Island Beach
3rd Person POV

Garath gently set the boat down in the water before landing on the beach. He gets out of his jet and looks up into the sky. It was night, but the moon made it easier for him to see the smoke.

"Okay. So that's the smoke signal that Lieutenant Jasmine told me about. If I focus on that smoke signal, I can make my way to the lab where Carly and her friends are. But for now, I'm gonna have to set up camp here. It's late." He said.

Garath set up a tent, and laid his weapons down next to him. Although it seemed safe on the beach, he knew that the island was crawling with dinosaurs that would kill him on sight. So he wasn't gonna take any chances.

"Don't worry Carly. I've got your 6, and I'm headed your way. We'll be united soon enough. Just hang tight." Garath said, as he drifted off to sleep.

Unknown to Garath, a couple of girls were watching him in the bushes. One of them was a redhead while the other was blonde.

"Who is that?" The redhead asked.

"I don't know Caren. But I think it's possible that he came here to rescue us. And according to Patrick, some other girls ended up stranded here." The blonde replied.

"You're right Paula. He brought a boat and a jet. So maybe we can finally get out of here." Caren replied.

Paula and Caren ran back to the lab as fast as they could. They were happy to know that someone was here to rescue them. But they didn't want to alarm him so they decided to wait until Garath found the lab.
