❧ personality: alex is a very fiery girl. she doesn't care about what anyone thinks of her and she does what she wants. she is extremely blunt and hardly ever considers others feelings when she talks to them. even when she has their best intentions at heart she will be blunt as ever. she sees no point in trying to sugarcoat anything or make anything sound better than it is. she has no care for rules but she does have a sense of morals and right and wrong. she has a mouth on her too and she will say what she wants when she wants. she doesn't filter anything that comes out of her mouth and that often gets her in trouble. she is a huge risk taker and loves living life dangerously. she loves doing things that make her adrenaline rush and heart race. she has serious trust issues with people though and doesn't trust others easily. it takes a lot for her to trust you or consider you a friend. and getting her to open up to you is even harder so don't expect much from her when it comes to talking about personal problems or secrets. she is also very logical and if she ever hears any idea that seems too unreal she won't believe it, she believes nothing until she gets proof. she is very competitive too and loves challenging others at games, sports, etc. she also has a huge temper and is very easily annoyed or angered. she doesn't have much tolerance for nonsense or stupidity and will not be afraid to let you know if you're annoying her in anyway. she is also very sarcastic and sassy and often uses those. she enjoys teasing others sometimes, especially her friends. she is also quite smart but often doesn't put it to school use as her grades aren't the best. she uses her intelligence for other things she deems more important.

❧ backstory: alex grew up for about 8 years with both of her parents, which was very good and nice, she was a spoiled little girl. then her little brother was born and she was no longer the center of attention and she acted out a lot which caused her to get in trouble a lot. both her parents started to dislike her and she didn't get along with her little brother. then a few years later her mother cheated on her dad and ran off with some guy from work. they divorced and she then lived alone with her dad and younger brother for a bit until her dad remarried and she got a step mom. she was 13 when that happened. her step mom is better but she always expects alex to be a proper girl and wear dresses, etc. and alex dislikes her for that reason. along with her step mother came her son which became alex's older step brother, who gets along with alex quite well. even though they got along well they often got into arguments and would wrestle because he wanted to teach alex how to toughen up. she often hung out with him and he was the one who taught her not to care about what others think of her and he was the one who pretty much made who she is now, he had a lot of influence on her. now he is moved out of the house but often when alex gets sick of her parents she runs away to spend a night or two at her step brothers apartment.

her step mom: she hates the pressure she gets from her on having to be a "proper" girl and wished that she could just accept she is a tomboy. it bothers her a lot and she often gets stressed or angry because of how much she tries to change her
her actual mother: she doesn't understand why she had to run away with some other guy and knows her life would probably be a lot better if she and her dad had stayed together. she hates her mom for running off and a part of her feels like it's her fault since she didn't seem to like her much when she was younger because of how she acted
