✯ backstory: gabe grew up thinking he wouldn't ever be burdened with the responsibility of taking over the throne because he had an older brother. but that changed when his brother ran away. his parents had been great rulers and super in love for the longest time but a few years after gabe was born his father started changing. he developed anger issues and was always trying to control everything he, his brother and mother did. he started to become a hated king and got into loads of arguments with his wife. the arguments started okay but they eventually became really bad and that's when his brother ran away, because he couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to get away from his parents. gabe thought it selfish of him to do that and leave him to take over the throne but he has since forgiven him mostly and no longer hates the fact that he has to become king someday. his father is now getting therapy for his anger issues and has gotten better which improved his home life as he no longer has to listen to constant arguing. he also does his best to try and help him sometimes because he wants the best for his father, and his mother. he hasn't seen his brother since he ran away ✯
