Chapter Two
*Sky's P.O.V*
I carried the passed out Ty with me to Seto's office. I set him down on a bed placed next to a desk. I sat down in a chair and let my head rest on my hands. Seto sat in a chair directly in front of me.
"Did you hear what he said, before he passed out?" I asked him. I leaned back in the chair and see Seto shake his head. "He said, 'Evil, Sky'" I said, repeating what Ty had said earlier. Seto nodded. I stood up and started to pace.
"It was a warning, for sure. Does it mean that the squids are coming? No, he wouldn't be that shaken up about that." I mumbled to myself for the longest time, thinking of what Ty had meant.
Finally, Seto said, "Why don't you just ask him when he comes to." He was trying to hide it, but I could tell that he was annoyed. I nodded, trying to keep my cool. I sat down nervously in the chair and waited. My thoughts floated around my head as I waited for Ty to come to.
Eventually, after two hours of waiting, I hear a moan come from the bed in which Ty laid on. I came over to his side and looked down at him. He was finally awake.
*Ty's P.O.V*
I slowly open my eyes and see Sky staring down at me. I don't even try to get up because I know it would be useless.
"Are you OK?" Sky asked. I nodded even though all I could think about was the evil Sky. I just hope he understood what I had said before I had passed out. Sky looked relieved, but only a little. He looked at my headphones, the color red glowing in his sunglasses. I took them off for a quick second and almost immediately felt dizzy. I put them back on and felt fine. Strange...
I slightly saw the red glowing on the sides and knew something was up. That's when I heard a voice all to familiar speak into my ears. 'I know you can hear me, Deadlox. Time to make you suffer.' Bloodlox said, an evil grin evident in his voice.
There had to have been a surprised look in my eyes because Sky asked, "What's wrong?" I shake my head and nodded. He gives me a weird look, then shrugged. "If you think you're up to it, would you please tell me what happened?" he asks while sitting down on my bed near my legs.
I sigh and begin to explain what happened.
*One Explanation Later*
"So, now you understand why I was so freaked out, right?" I said, finishing off my explanation. All Sky did while I talked was nod his head and mumble stuff under his breath. Sky stood up and said proudly, "We'll get them!"
"Sky, I hate to rain on your parade, but they seem very strong and have a well thought-out plan," I said quietly. Sky looked down at me with shock and a slight understanding in his eyes. Luckily, his understanding got the better of him.
Sky looked away sadly and said, "Fine, I guess you're right, but we'll soon go and get them. They'll wish they had never thought about taking on the Sky Army!"
* * * * *
After that, Sky left me alone. Seto came in every once and while to check up on me. He said that I could leave tomorrow. I wanted to leave now, but I knew he was right since he was a little smarter than me.
Once the sun began to set, someone walked into the building. I looked up and saw my beautiful wife, Christie, walk in. I sat up as she walked over to my side. "Are you OK?" she asked worriedly. I nodded my head, grinning. She smiled and gave me a hug.
"Is Daddy okay?" I heard a small voice ask. I looked over to side of the bed and saw my five year old daughter, Miranda, standing there. She was holding her calico kitten, Muffins, in her hands. She never left home without that cat.
"Yes, honey, he is perfectly fine," Christie said. She helped Miranda on the bed and I smiled. Miranda had rainbow colored hair, even if her natural hair color was blonde. She had bright, curious blue eyes. She wore a black shirt with a rainbow creeper face on it and white pants.
She let Muffins go and the little kitten crawled to the bottom of the bed and laid there. "Come on, Miranda. Lets let Daddy get some rest," Christie said. Miranda nodded, gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, and jumped off the bed. "Come on, Muffins!" she called as she walked out the door. The cat jumped down and ran after her master. I was left alone, but not for very long.
'Nice family you got there, Deadlox. It would be a shame if something happened to them," Bloodlox spoke into my ear. "If you so much as lay a finger on any of them, you'll regret it," I whispered.
'Don't worry about it Deadlox. Just get some rest. Nighty night!' he said, and then he was gone. I sighed and laid back down. I was tired and in some desperate need of peace and quiet, so I let the comforting darkness of sleep encase me.
