Chapter Nineteen

                                                          *Sky's P.O.V*

Dark opened up the book. He placed the tip of the feather in the open ink jar and started to write. I knew what he was writing, thanks to Wild. Who knew that someone who was taught one thing for a lifetime could change their mind in a matter of minutes?

Dark finished writing and looked to the sky. The rest of us did the same to see what he was looking at. At first, nothing happened. Then, the sky went black, the only thing shining in the dark sky was the now blood red sun. Dark put the feather down and started chanting something in a different language. I couldn't understand it, but I could tell that it was the ancient language of the spirits. I never knew that anyone could speak that language, considering how old it was. I believe it was over 4,000 years old, if I recall correctly.

As Dark continued to chant, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Anti. He looked back at me, then back down. I felt my hands being freed and then my legs. I moved my arms to my sides and asked, "Why are you doing this?"

"If Wild trusts and believes in you, then so do I," he said as he helped me to my feet. Anti handed me my budder sword and whispered, "Go kill that asshole for me." I smiled and nodded my head. Then, I turned and ran up the stairs. The enemies were too distracted to see me running up the stairs to the alter, which was perfect for me.

I finally made to the top of the staircase and walked up behind Dark. Then, without any mercy what so ever, I plunged my sword deep into his chest. I threw him over to the side and looked down at him. He leaned on his elbow to looked back at me. "You fool, I have already called upon Herobrine. Now, he will kill you all," Dark whispered. He fell back to the ground, dead. I walked over to Dark's dead body and bent down next to him. I slipped my necklace over his head and put it back around my neck. I stood back up and looked over the others that stood at the bottom of the stairs.

Then, I heard a evil laugh above me. I glanced up and saw Herobrine. I ran back down the staircase to where my friends stood. Anti must've freed them while I was killing my evil twin. They all had a sword in hand, ready to fight whatever was thrown at them. "Now, I will kill all Minecraftians that dare stand in my way!" Herobrine yelled out, his voice slightly echoing.

My friends gathered behind me and stood tall and brave, even though they might have been fearing for their life at the moment. I admired and respected their bravery. Then, a figure appeared at my side, and then another at my other side. I looked over and saw...

    "Seto!"

He was see-through, but he was there. He smiled at me, then looked at who was standing to my left. I glanced over as well and saw Tyler, who was also see-through. Tyler, man I haven't thought about him in so long. Memories of how he died came rushing back to me. The squids, the deaths, Tyler's being the most traumatic for me. But, I was glad that they were here; I was glad that I was able to see them again, even if they were just ghosts. They might have been figments of my imagination, but when I saw Maria running up to us, I knew it wasn't.

"Seto! It's you!" she said, going in for a hug and going right through him. He laughed and said, "I'm kind of a ghost sweetie." She looked down, then back at Herobrine. "You ready to defeat this man, or whatever he is?" she asked. I nodded my head and got ready for the fight. This might be worse then the battle against the squids.

Then, everything went chaotic. Arrows were fired, swords and axes were thrown. Lightning rained down on us, none of them making contact fortunately. After a while, Herobrine gripped his chest in pain. Everything went quiet as we watched him fall to the ground in front of the podium. I stared at his lifeless body. Then, it simply turned to dust, disappearing into the cobblestone. A soft wind came and blew the ashes away. I then glanced up at who was standing at the podium, feather in hand.

"That was too easy," Maria said, slamming the book close. She walked down the stairs. Once she reached the bottom of the staircase, Mercury came out of nowhere and landed on her shoulder. Christie flew out of a tower in the distance and landed in front of Ty. Miranda was shaking in her arms, scared to death. Ty ran over to them and hugged them. I smiled as they had a small family reunion. Then, I remembered Dawn.

I dropped my sword and ran to her dead body. I fell to my knees at her side, tears streaming down my face. I lifted her up in my arms, her lifeless body going limp as I lifted her off the ground. I lifted her head up and caressed her multi colored hair. Why did she have to go out like this? Killed by an arrow shot by an enemy.

A hand rested on my shoulder and I looked up. The ghost of Dawn was staring down at me with a smile. I smiled up a my love, a few tears still on my cheeks. She faded into a mist as the others came to my side. Before they could comfort me, I stood up. Dark and Herobrine were dead and gone, and I could live a peaceful life, like I had always wanted to do. But, since I had been chosen to be the next Budder King, that put my dream to the side. I was just happy that my loyal friends were at my side in my time of need. They were the best friends a man could ask for.
