Riku: Last time... On Dimensional Hearts...

As the group escapes on the ship from Neuron before it collapses with Jena in her final form attacking, the goodness in the group is seen as everyone agrees to go back to fight her. Just as we were let off by Wayfinder, we found ourselves surrounded by enemies of this world. It would have gotten worse, had the protagonist of this game, named Ryder at random, saved us from our doom. Meeting back up with Akira and Yoseph on the highway, Jena also caught up to them as the ground got broken and sent platforms flying into the air, along with Kitty and Ryder on them. Being able to beat Jena, the explosion knocked Kitty and Ryder flying to the ground, Ryder being the unlucky one to be in critical condition. After the legion fuses with him to save his life, Yoseph's true colors were shown as Ryder and Kitty were shot and sent flying over an edge towards what was going to be their deaths. With being weakened and hurt, we were taken away by the Ravens to where we were being experimented on and tested to our limits to our abilities. There was no rest, and we were forced to fight regardless of whether we rested or not...

A few Hours later...

Kitty's point of view.

World: Astral Forces.

Location: Hal's Secret base

It has been sometime since we escaped the Ravens. We were able to make it back to the hideout with everyone safe and unharmed. After getting Akira here, Hal was already at work removing the tracking software from Akira as it was being jammed for the time being. Once Hal was done, Akira was able to get up and not leave a trail for us to relax and breathe easily. It wasn't perfect or anything, but we made it. I'm still trembling as I was still thinking what I had done back there as I couldn't believe I did that. Just hope that I can do it when it comes to Yoseph, that's where the real challenge is going to be. Will it end in some way that can be peaceful...? Or will it be difficult to have the one guy I really hate, but worry how the other has caused us? Either way, this was one fight we couldn't avoid if it came to it.

Hal: There. Now Yoseph won't be able to track you. Your tracker had more advanced firewalls. Yoseph must've wanted to keep a closer eye on you, Akira.

Akira: Don't say that to me... It's just weird when you say that...

Hal: S-Sorry... But at least you're safe away from his prying eyes now. He shouldn't be able to find you here.

Akira: Thanks Hal.

Akira looked so far away, lost in her own world. With how things went with the Ravens and just being used as a pawn, it would hurt anybody. Glancing at Ryder when seeing him walking closer to her, he pulled her into a hug.

Ryder: No way in hell that Yoseph is ever going to use you again. Anyone tries and I'm taking them down. You're safe here Akira, I promise.

Though she remained silent, it didn't stop Akira returning the hug. Sometimes a hug and knowing someone is there is all you need. There was hardly any bonding, if any at all in the game between the two, so just seeing this is truly a heartwarming scene as Akira spoke softly.

Akira: Thank you, Ryder... I'll be sure to keep you safe too.

Those two may be orphans... But just seeing how much they're always going to be there for each other, they always have family with them. Even though I wanted to think of happy thoughts, I had to get my focus back on this world if I wanted to get out of here with everyone. Brenda was safe, Akira is with us and Yoseph shouldn't have had the revolution on what's needed to complete his project. Maybe it might not be a fight with that thing if lucky, but I still need to know what exactly he's doing to my friends...

Olive: You okay?

Kitty: Huh? Ah, yeah I'm fine. Just lost in thoughts.

Olive: Want to talk about it?

Deja Vu, a weird thing. Only just having this talk with Riku before the whole Jena incident.

Olive: If you don't want to, I understand.

Kitty: It's fine. Just getting lost in thoughts about if my friends are okay, nothing more. Thanks for asking though, it's really kind of you.

Olive: Okay. I just thought about everything... You looked like you were in deep thought...?

Kitty: Habit of mine, tending to get lost in my thoughts. Or daydreaming, whatever works. Do you think they'll be any way of knowing what Yoseph is doing to everyone though..?

Olive looked at me and shook my head.

Olive: I'm sorry... I can't think of anything... I wish I had an answer to help you though...

I shook my head and gave a small smile. If I can convince myself things are okay, then I can avoid a breakdown wanting to happen. Damn nerves and worries always get to me...

Kitty: You've been a big help already, Olive. Thank you.

Olive gave me a smile to show she was glad I was okay and not being calm about everything.

Olive: I'm always here if you need to talk to someone. I'll keep myself open to anything you say.

Kitty: Thank you, I'll make sure to remember that.

I really should do that, actually talk more often. Maybe I won't get so nervous about everything then. Why do I keep doing that..? Ugh, stop worrying and focus!

Olive: I'll be here for you when you need me~

I could give a genuine smile instead of a small one from her kindness, somehow able to make things seem better.

Kitty: I'm going to end up sounding like a broken record, but once more, thank you for the help.

Olive: No problem. Just let me know if you need anything~

To avoid another broken note on the record, I smiled and gave a thumbs up. Olive gave a small one and began to head back over to what she is working on before talking to me. With things being more on the calmer side for now, it was just preparation time to get ready for the biggest mission of heading to ARI. The tracker on Akira was done to avoid our location being seen, Olive working on the coms. Hal was... Well, who knows with him since we only see his drone. If we were going to ARI, there was going to be a lot of fighting with different Chimeras, Ravens, Yoseph and still the possibility of Noah. In that case, I should really be getting a medicine supply instead of being the worrying couch potato. Maybe even just a quick walk would help to keep my nerves calm too as I got up and left the room to find some medicine. Where would Hal keep it though? I began to look around the area in the room to try and find some medicine as I felt the effects of it last time beginning to diminish... Was I able to heal my ankle enough with magic? I know I was low on it, which might have made the spell less effective. Note to self: Ask Merlin on how magic works to know how effective spells are when used with weaker magic. As I walked around, I felt a ping in my head as I held it for a moment before a voice came in.

Wayfinder (AI): Sorry I lost contact for a while. Was busy hibernating to get some energy back. My systems had shut down and- Wait... Where are the others?

I looked around a moment to check I wasn't hearing a TV or something, before realizing Wayfinder was really talking in my head.

Kitty (Mentally): How are you even talking in my head...?

Wayfinder (AI): Have you forgotten the communication system I painstakingly set up for all of us??

Kitty (Mentally): Shut it! I got almost murdered by a psycho, and knocked out for days. Give me a break! As for the others, kidnapped by said psycho. Currently trying to make plans to get them away safely.

Silence is all I heard for a few moments. When I was about to ask Wayfinder if he was still there, all I got was this.

Wayfinder (AI): How did THAT happen!?

Kitty (Mentally): Short version? Psycho hates my guts because I know of his plans, Chronos telling him that I know his plans. Go through game events, get pushed and shot at by the Ravens, and next thing I know it's been... At least 3 days, I never actually checked how long I was passed out. Actually... Going to assume around 5 with how Ryder wasn't injured when I saw him, so he had time to heal. And everyone was captured. Any questions?

As I spoke to Wayfinder mentally with the communication link, I kept looking for the medicine. Aha, found some! Getting some water, I took a pill just to avoid my ankle causing trouble later. Better safe than sorry when I don't know if there's any damage still. Getting something to store it in, I put the medicine I found away and kept it safe for emergencies. Pretty sure I remember there's a vending machine later on in the chapter, but who knows how brutal the fights will be. While waiting to see if Wayfinder was going to say anything else, I tested how bad my ankle is and put some pressure on it while walking. There was a slight sting, but nothing that would cause issues at least.

Kitty (Mentally): That feels better~ Way? Still there? You're oddly quiet.

Wayfinder (AI): Yeah. Just trying to process what I heard, what the actual HELL happened!!

Kitty (Mentally): Too long of a tale to tell right now. Think of it as: A tale as old as time-

Wayfinder (AI): -This song doesn't rhyme! GET SERIOUS WILL YOU!?

Kitty (Mentally): Boo, everyone's a critic... But the summary is, if I don't hurry then I can't say for sure how safe everyone is. Full story when we get the hell out of here. Trust me, it'll be super cala fragilistic expialidocious.

Wayfinder (AI): And if I had legs, these butt whooping I give you all would be quite atrocious!!

Kitty (Mentally): Ah, Kratos shorts, gotta love them~

Wayfinder (AI): Who is Kratos???

Kitty (Mentally): Okay... Clearly that knowledge from Jammy never got to you... A game character and famous for some videos. Which you somehow made a reference too without even knowing.

Wayfinder (AI): I- That's- How does-? You know what... Never mind.

Kitty (Mentally): Anywayyyy.... WHERE THE HECK EVEN ARE YOU?! We saw you go, but a location would be good.

Wayfinder (AI): Where else? In space.

Kitty (Mentally): So now the image of a random ship just lazing around in space is never leaving my mind... Should have expected that though. Are you at least okay to fly without risking a crash landing? Going to need you to fly us away from here hopefully soon.

Wayfinder (AI): Have you all forgotten that I have a teleport function??

Kitty (Mentally): Nope. But with how badly you were injured, needing repairs? Whatever term works best, just checking on your condition. Not like we can just get another ship with the talking AI, so we really do need you in the best condition possible.

Wayfinder (AI): I have only enough energy to teleport you and the group back and get to Traverse Town by warp. After that, the ship must land to Cid to get me proper restoration of my components.

Damn the communication line for not letting me curse again without Wayfinder hearing! Going straight from a psycho commander, to one fuming Cid for all the damage to the ship he just repaired... Not to mention risking running into Jammy, who I have no idea how well treating the darkness is going and I'm not surviving death to risk it again if Darkness takes control. Wasn't exactly the best knocking him out forcefully when losing control of the light.

Kitty (Mentally): That's fine. We'll get you to Cid's as soon as we're done here. Final stretch now. Just bear with us a little longer.

Wayfinder (AI): I would also try to make locations where you can replenish your energy for magic, but with my systems this critical, I can only be here for moral support. Sorry, March.

Kitty (Mentally): March?

Wayfinder (AI): Ah, must have said the wrong name. Must have been thinking of Star Rail a moment.

Kitty (Mentally): Clearly you got that from Jammy, but how do you know Star Rail and not the Kratos videos?! Actually... Never mind. Not going to ask questions on that when Jammy's mind is random.

Wayfinder (AI): Please don't do it. I'm afraid of how that will turn out.

Kitty (Mentally): Going to take your advice on that, and just gratefully accept the moral support.

Wayfinder (AI): Thank you. No one needs a headache.

Kitty (Mentally): Agreed to that.

Wayfinder (AI): So, what's the plan, cat?

Kitty (Mentally): The plan... Is to make a plan, AI.

Wayfinder was silent as he then spoke to me again.

Wayfinder (AI): You have no plan on how to deal with that psycho, do you?

Kitty (Mentally): Not at all.

Wayfinder (AI): We're f*********ked

Kitty (Mentally): The only cursing to be heard in my mind is my own cursing, thank you!

Wayfinder (AI): At least you can curse. I have a censor on my speech.

Kitty (Mentally): Which just makes the whole thing even funnier~

Wayfinder was silent as if trying to stare daggers into me before he spoke.

Wayfinder (AI): F**k you.

Kitty (Mentally): Love you too bleep box.

Wayfinder sighed as he didn't like what was happening.

Wayfinder (AI): Whatever. Just work with everyone and everything will be fine. I have to go back to rest mode to save power. I'll only have enough to teleport you to the ship and then an immediate warp. After that, there may be enough power to land safely in Traverse Town. Don't blame me when this is all over, I tried when those stupid bots sent us here.

Kitty (Mentally): Not blaming you in the slightest when it's anger issues bot's fault this happened. Thanks for the help, Wayfinder. Get as much rest as you can.

Wayfinder (AI): Thank you. Just don't lose a 9 liiiiiiiiii...

As to signal that Wayfinder went offline, I sighed as I knew what he was gonna say.

Kitty (Mentally): Don't lose one of my nine lives, I know Way. No idea how many I even have left after all the near death incidents, not risking anything.

With Wayfinder offline, the communication cut off as there was silence back in the mind. I should take this chance to think of what's going to happen at ARI. I know there's a few Aberrations, Ravens and Akira clones. With Yoseph having everyone, there is a high chance of clones being made of them too.

Kitty: Now the only thing is, how do I handle this AND explain it to them???

As I was thinking to myself aloud, I thought I was alone when I said that when someone tapped me on the shoulder as I jumped and turned around fast. The person behind me was Brenda.

Brenda: What do you mean by "explain it to them"???

I paled as I wish I was given the dagger of time instead, just to see if I could have stopped this.

Kitty: Umm... Hi...? This is... Going to be awkward to explain...

Maybe explaining it privately to Brenda at first would help instead of all together...? I looked at Brenda and whispered this time.

Kitty: Could... You follow me real quick...? I don't want to sound like I'm not someone to be trusted, but I don't want to just make a plan and not try to go over it with you all... I'll explain everything the best I can.

Brenda: And what is it you want to explain?

Kitty: Yoseph's plans and what he's going to do.

Brenda widened her eyes in shock of what she heard me say as I was not sure how she was going to react.

Brenda: H-Hold on, what are you going on about???

Kitty: It's... Hard to explain... I know the others need to know as well, but not exactly sure how to approach it...

Brenda: How bad could it be?

I bit my lip when I thought of how to say it, before just sighing and saying it bluntly.

Kitty: My friends and I don't even belong in this place... Different world... It's also how I know about Yoseph's plans...

Brenda looked at me for a moment when trying to process what was happening. When the thought about the ship came into mind, she grabbed onto me and looked me in the eyes.

Brenda: Y-You're from outer space!?

I thought about it, thinking of all the worlds that we've been too. I guess it could be described as coming from outer space.

Kitty: That... Can be a good way to describe it, yes.

Brenda blinked as she held her hand to my forehead trying to check my temperature or feeling my pulse. Was she thinking I was crazy???

Kitty: I may act crazy but... It's true... Does the giant key, magic, talking animals, none of that seem weird to you at all...?

Brenda: I... I don't know. I would think that it was something we never discovered in terms of genetic binding. But... From OUTER SPACE??? It just doesn't seem possible...

Kitty: Well, a different world is more specific.

Brenda: H-How??? That- What you are telling me is just... I don't even know how to explain it!

Thinking about how to try and explain it, I got one of the power disks out and held it up.

Kitty: Please... Just bear with me, even talk to Yoseph as he knows all this... This disk, it made a portal to a different world before. A literal portal, we got sucked in it. Same thing happened here... We never crash landed because of looking for a place to land. We crashed landed getting sucked into a portal here and ending up with a system failure. We... Truly we were lucky to get out... Well, alive. The story of having built it and flying to look for our friends, it wasn't built here in this world... But we are looking for our friends because they are on OTHER worlds... That part I did not lie about... I just had to make a story fast, as if we just told the truth? Your reaction explains what would have happened. Yoseph would have just gone for the capture sooner... It would have just been a great mess. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry for lying.

Brenda looked at me as I had teary eyes. The fact that I am worrying in this world is part of the reason that I may not see my friends again. But if I break down now, when everyone need me? I could never forgive myself... Right now, they need me more than ever. If the duck wants to complain about breaking the "World Order", he can do it after the rescue and thank me for it later.

Kitty: If you still believe I'm lying to you even now, that's fine. But I rather have a clear conscience and seek help from those I TRUST and help me stop the plans. Not just for my friends, but for everyone here and the whole ARK. Because what he has planned, it is what Jena died trying to stop. Even if you don't believe me, at least believe me when I tell you what he plans. You saw the notes, I can help for them to make sense.

Brenda looked at me and bit her lip as if trying to think. When walking back to the room and then bringing the notes to me, I gently reached for them, but she pulled them back.

Brenda: I'm trusting you. Just as you're trusting me, I'll do everything I can to trust you.

Kitty: And I'll do all I can to keep that trust.

Brenda held out the notes for me to reach and take them. As I read them, my eyes were getting wider and wider at the plans. Detailing everything, from using the twins, making the Ravens through cloning Akira, even looking at legion fusions like what happened with Ryder. Plans to disband Neuron to avoid suspicion. All plans on how to make Project Noah come to life, everything that has happened so far. Everything has been to his advantage the whole time! Even plans on how to use Noah to make one being, using the core for power to just suck everyone in. How twisted is that bastard's mind?!

Brenda: Well? What does it say?

Kitty: Summarizing it... We've been playing into his hands the whole time. He's planned for everything that's happened, except for Jena coming back to attack and try and stop him. His actual plans? To bring everyone on the ARK into one being he's calling Noah. That's the project he's been working on... If Akira had gotten hurt in the sewers and had to fuse with her Legion to survive, it would have been the final key Yoseph needed for the project to start. Using a special core on Noah, which I'm guessing is some sort of Chimera maybe, he's going to just... Suck everyone into the core to be one being. He's making a monster, worse than anything the Ark was attacked with. If he's not stopped... Being blunt, I would see no hope for anyone to survive him. Since Akira didn't have to fuse with her legion, it should have delayed his plans even a little to give us a chance. There's still the high chance that the project still gets completed, but also the chance there things can be stopped in a more peaceful manner.

Brenda looked at me in the eyes with a shocked expression and didn't know how to answer. I didn't say anything, knowing this information needed to be processed as this would cause a big shock to anyone.

Brenda: And... That's what his project is...? Oh my god... He's a lunatic...

With a shaky hand, Brenda reached for a cigarette and lighter as she was struggling to light it.. Gently taking the cigarette and lighter away, I kept hold of them as I spoke.

Kitty: No one would expect for anyone to do this... Especially someone they looked up to or worked with... But smoking won't help.

Brenda: And if this thing succeeds?? What do you think will happen?? Everyone on the ARK joins that lunatic and loses who they are!

Kitty: And there's the chance to stop it happening! We're not just sitting here waiting for it to happen!

Brenda: Then what do you plan???

That did get me silent as I still wasn't sure. But I know that I can't make it alone, it would never work without everyone's help.

Kitty: Honestly... I don't have a plan... But even if I just make one now, it's never going to work. Not without everyone's help, input on what they think. It's going to need a team effort.

Brenda looked at me as she still trembled. I knew what she was thinking. We're up against impossible odds that we might not succeed and everyone is lost. But the fact I am not giving up without a fight, softly encourages her. Giving back the cigarette and lighter, I looked at Brenda and smiled softly.

Kitty: Whether Yoseph succeeds or not comes down to us. But not when you're a trembling mess like this. If you weren't a doctor, I'd be calling one to check if you're having a panic attack.

Brenda looked at me and the cigarette and lighter before sighing and putting them away.

Brenda: You have a weird sense of humor thinking I need a Doctor. With how crazy everything you told me, a regular would send you to a psych ward. But since I saw everything that happens with Chimeras and Legions... It's too hard to pass this up as a mental breakdown...

Kitty: If anyone who didn't know you were a doctor saw you like that, then they would be calling a doctor! And this is not a mental breakdown... As much as that would be better over this being a reality.

Brenda laughed this time hearing that as I smiled in being able to calm her down more. Being able to be there for someone in need and make sure they're not having a breakdown. It feels rather... Nice. Another note to self: Learn how to help people to stop breakdowns.

Brenda: Damn. I really needed that. With how serious everything is, I really needed that.

Kitty: I guess this proves laughter is the best medicine. And a good way to avoid the horrible taste of the usual medicines.

Brenda: Isn't that the truth... Ha...

Kitty: Are you feeling better? Are you able to think clearly and help out?

Looking at me, Brenda sighed and leaned against the wall.

Brenda: If we do nothing, we basically die regardless... Better try and do something rather than nothing.

I sighed in relief quietly to myself that the talk went okay, looking back at Brenda and smiling.

Kitty: Thank you, Brenda.

Brenda: Don't be thanking me yet. We still need to make a plan and stop Yoseph. If no one can stop him, we're definitely screwed.

I know Yoseph has to be stopped, no matter what the game always ends with him being defeated. But if we have been able to delay his plans, the ending should be changed and hopefully for the better...

Kitty: If making a plan, then the others need to know the truth as well... This is going to suck...

Brenda: It... Might be better if I talk to them for a bit. I rather it be me to explain to them about what you told me. If they hear it from me, they might believe it better.

And suddenly the weight of fear of being seen as even more crazy has completely been lifted, along with having to speak.

Kitty: No complaints here!

Brenda: Just don't go too far. You're the reason I'm even getting courage to not sit around and let everything crash down on me. You better back me up when they ask questions.

Kitty: Of course! I would never leave you hanging in need to explain something!! You're trusting me even when it's completely insane all I said, and I'm doing all I can to help in return.

Brenda nodded her head as she sighed and got off the wall.

Brenda: Better go explain it to them now. We need all the time we can get...

Brenda began to head back to the room where Hal's secret base is, if we can really call it that, to explain to the others about what Brenda heard from me. I'm just hoping the others can believe what I said to her and don't need extra clarification. While waiting to see how things are going to go, I double checked the medicine to make sure we have all we need. Damnit, I'm worrying again! And yet... Another thing Jammy must've had to face. Has he been trying to stand this strong for all of us when we first began...? Knowing it would be a struggle this great...? I really need to show my appreciation of all he's done for us more... I'll do it when I next see him. But I need to stop letting my focus sway! It needs to remain on this world and get the others safe. Please let them be okay...

Third point of view

Location: ARI, Testing Chambers

At the Research Institute on the ARK, Yoseph was currently overseeing a room with his arms behind him in observing what was going on below. In a room, Donald, Goofy, Sora, and Riku were fighting against the Ravens that would come in and replace any that would be defeated in battle or switch up to using Legions to make it harder for the group.

Sora: Just... How many are there...?

Riku: I don't know... But there seems to be no end...

Donald: How long... Have we been fighting...?

Goofy: Since our last one...? About 4 hours...?

Sora was breathing heavily as he fell over on his back as he was breathing hard. An electric shock coursed through him as there was a shock bracelet on his ankle that didn't allow him to rest.

Yoseph (Speakers): Did I say you could rest?

Riku looked up at Yoseph and glared at him.

Riku: Hey! You think it's so easy fighting these armored chumps!? How about you come down here and try it!!!

Yoseph was quiet to Riku's statement as Riku pointed his Soul Eater at the one-way mirror.

Riku: What? Gone silent because you know you can't fight?! You old decrepit m-AAAAAAHHHHHHHH

Riku felt an electric shock course through him as he fell down onto one knee as he was getting angry. When he tried to get up, a Raven had sent a Legion to send him flying to roll against the ground.

Yoseph (Speakers): I'd advise remaining quiet if you don't want to get another shock.

Riku glared up at Yoseph as he got up quickly while breathing deeply.

Riku: You think you're so great? Using kids as test subjects...?

A Raven began to approach Riku and soon began charging at him before sending a Sword Legion to attack at Riku. But before the attack could connect, Riku raised his Soul Eater to deflect the attack before charging at the Raven to kick them in the chest to send them flying back. Riku took some deep breaths as he glared at the Ravens and held his blade more.

Riku: You hurt my friends... You killed Kitty... If you knew the man that cared about her, you would be dead before you even took us hostage.

Yoseph (Speakers): A pointless threat, if that was even meant to be a threat.

Riku: "Pointless"?? Ha... Haha... Oh, if you knew how truthful I was. I would be laughing, and you would be dead where you stand.

Riku glared at the window where Yoseph was looking from.

Riku: The girl you couldn't get? Is so important to someone, they would kill and explode in rage from what I heard about anything that happened to Kitty. And if you're still around by the time he gets better, he'll definitely get you. Better believe that.

Yoseph (Speakers): Instead of worrying about someone who has anger issues and some dead girl, maybe you should be focusing on what's currently happening here.

Riku: Just so you know, when I get out of here, I'll make sure this place will be your grave.

Yoseph (Speakers): The most pathetic attempt at trying to scare someone I ever heard.

Riku: It's not an attempt... It's a promise. Your death... Is inevitable. And whatever purpose you have for us? You'll DIE before you see your reality come true.

This angered Yoseph as he activated Riku's shock bracelet more and increased the intensity on his to hurt him more. Riku screamed in pain as it was taking everything he had to stay conscious and standing. Sora was the one to stand up for his friend this time, showing how strong of a bond they have.

Sora: STOP IT! LEAVE RIKU ALONE!

The Ravens focused their attention on Riku as he was about to be ganged up on. But seeing his friend in danger, Sora's Keyblade began to glow.

Sora: I SAID: STOOOOOP!!!

Jumping into the air, Sora channeled his magic for a new skill called Ragnarock as energy began to build up with Sora hovering slightly in the air before he fired it to cause multiple projectiles to home in on the Ravens. Each of the blasts almost simultaneously hit each Raven to send them flying and keep Riku safe from harm. Sora landed on his feet and then onto his butt with how exhausted he was. Riku was looking between Sora and the Ravens in shock from what just happened, Goofy and Donald looking speechless before Donald spoke.

Donald: What did you just do?!

Sora looked at Donald and then to his Keyblade.

Sora: I... I don't know... I just... Couldn't stand Riku getting hurt...

Goofy: Gwarsh, well you sure saved Riku from the Ravens there for sure.

Riku: Sora... Thank you.

Sora looked at his best friend and smiled in being able to help.

Sora: You gave me a little rest, I couldn't just let them harm you.

Riku: Heh, I guess you're getting stronger. Maybe you might actually win a sword fight next time.

Sora: Huh!? Get real! We're tied as far as I know!

Riku: No, I got one more on ya.

Sora: No way!

Riku: Yes way.

Gaining some energy back, Sora got on his feet while holding his Keyblade.

Sora: Okay then, the person who takes out more Ravens, they get a point towards that!

Riku looked at Sora and smirked in seeing his friend fired up over their competition. Even though the truth was Riku and Sora were tied, Riku tricked Sora into getting fired up so they could work harder.

Riku: You're on.

Sora smirked back at Riku when the competition was on, both raising their weapons to be prepared. It didn't take long for the Ravens to start ganging up on them, both doing their best to knock the Ravens down. Donald and Goofy supported them the best they could by stopping them being hit in their blind spots, but the number of Ravens getting knocked out was growing higher and higher. Yoseph was getting frustrated that the Ravens were losing to a couple of kids and animals now as this was meant to make them be pushed into a corner, not win because of a simple competition between them. Despite how exhausted they were from the fighting and shocks, no one was giving in as they kept knocking down the Ravens, no matter how many came. As the group fought, Riku felt a surge of power as he saw a Raven that was about to strike at Sora. Riku threw his blade before turning into smoke to chase after his blade towards the Raven. The blade catches them off guard to jump backwards from being hit before Riku appears at his weapon to slice upward to knock the Raven up before slamming them down by their ankle.

Sora: When the heck did you learn that move???

Riku: Just now like you did. I think I'll call it... Shadow-port. A skill to teleport to my weapon and keep the attack going. Like that?

Sora: Impressive skill, and the name works well for it.

Riku smiled in seeing he could help Sora back in his own power.

Sora: And thanks for the save too.

Riku: Thank me when we get a break... IF we get a break...

Goofy: That might be possible soon, it sounds like someone isn't very happy right now...

Goofy was able to hear some deep breaths through the speakers, Yoseph trying to remain calm with them. But the others soon realized just how frustrated Yoseph is.

Yoseph (Speakers): That shouldn't have been possible! You should not have been taking down the Ravens so easily like this!

Riku: And yet, you pushed us all into a corner. Ever heard of trapping an animal? If you corner it, it will bear its fangs and retaliate.

Donald: We don't take kindly to being used for some lame scheme!

Sora: You won't make us lose our spirit!

Goofy: We're always going to do what's right!

Yoseph was getting angrier and angrier before he cut off his mic to then throw his chair in his office.

Yoseph: THOSE BRATS!!! Do they not know WHY I need that KEY!?!?

???: Careful now, Yoseph. You better believe what I said about letting your own Darkness control you.

Yoseph looked behind him to see Chronos standing there.

Yoseph: Y-You! How did you get in here!?

Chronos: I used the door. How else?

Yoseph: What are you even doing here?

Chronos: To check up on my favorite person. I love what you have for Project Noah. But why are you messing with kids? That's not a pretty sight if anything to be watching.

Yoseph: Don't you twist what I am doing here! I am doing what YOU suggested!!

Chronos: Torturing kids with shock bracelets and making them fight for hours without breaks? I'm cold, but that's extreme even to me.

Yoseph: And you said my plans could be realized by having a person with a Key!! I have one and I'm still nowhere close to finding my solution to Project Noah!!!

Looking down from above, Chronos looked at Sora and began to laugh hard when seeing it was Sora.

Yoseph: WHAT'S SO DAMN FUNNY!?

Chronos: Oh that? No, the kid wasn't your solution, it was the cat.

Yoseph looked at Chronos with a blank look, looking as if he was hoping he mishead.

Yoseph: I'm sorry, would you mind saying that one more time?

Chronos: I said: The kid wasn't your solution, it was the CAT. The cat had the solution to what you needed. After all, she DID know about your secret project, right?

Chronos was hinting that Kitty was the one that Yoseph needed the entire time. Yoseph had got the hint, but didn't say anything and kept a blank look. Internally, it was a mass panic at how he sent the solution he needed to death.

Yoseph: No... You mean to tell me...

Chronos: That the only person who knew how to make your Project launch off without a hitch and much faster, you sent her to their death~

Yoseph growled under his breath at what Chronos said.

Yoseph: Well ain't that just great! The solution is dead! This wouldn't have happened if more SPECIFIC information was given.

Chronos: Well, I figured that you could find the solution given how powerful and perfect your ambition is. When I said Key, I meant one of the two. Not just the one. You should have thought about it before trying to send her to her death.

Yoseph: That is not helping at all!

Chronos: But... What if your precious Ravens... Found something interesting?

Yoseph: And what would that be?

Chronos: Maybe look for yourself. You might just be surprised.

Yoseph decided to sit at his desk and look at the recordings his Ravens have been doing. He found one that showed the sewers where he saw Ryder was alive and including Kitty.

Yoseph: WHAT IS THIS!? THEY LIVED!?

Chronos: Oh? Is that a surprise for you? I thought you would have seen that by now. Have you been in here focusing on a kid with skill issues?

Yoseph: Considering I was following the information I was given, and no one should have survived a fall like that.

Chronos: And yet THEY did. Just goes to show you that you should "never judge a book by the cover".

Yoseph: How they survived is a mystery. But at least this helps to get plans back into motion.

Chronos: And how will you do it?

Yoseph: Find wherever they are and get the stupid cat here.

Chronos looked at Yoseph and nodded his head.

Chronos: Then, does that mean you request my help more?

Yoseph looked at Chronos and smiled.

Yoseph: Actually, that would be a big help. If the Ravens cause enough commotion, it should give the opportunity for a capture.

Chronos chuckled as he decided to look down at the group below as they were resting until Yoseph had more plans.

Chronos: Then I want you to give me something else as payment, just like I sold you the information for your help, I want something else from you next that is EQUALLY important as your project~

Yoseph: And what exactly are you looking to get as payment?

Chronos: Well~ There is certainly lots of equipment along with other projects you made~

Yoseph: And what would you be planning to use this equipment for?

Chronos kept quiet about that for now.

Chronos: Something for my own use~ That I assure you~

Though it drove Yoseph mad with having secrets kept from him, he didn't say anything about it as he did need the help.

Yoseph: Take any equipment that you need. But only after the job is done.

Chronos: Not gonna try and press further? I thought you were being cautious as you were, you would ask why. But if I get it just for capturing a defenseless cat, all the more better for me~

Yoseph: Cautious, yes. But why press further and risk losing the help? If I don't get what I need, the project is never going to be complete.

Chronos: So, when I bring the cat, I get to take anything I want of my choice? Research notes and the machinery of my choice?

Yoseph: That is the payment you wanted. It's only fair, and the stuff's not going to be used now anyway. Might as well get some use out of it.

Chronos smiled at the deal as he looked at Yoseph.

Chronos: You drive a mean bargain, Mr. Yoseph~ I bring you the cat, and I get to take what I want as payment. That seems to be a fair deal~

Yoseph: I see nothing wrong with this deal at all~

Chronos: Then we have reached another agreement. I shall request some of your Ravens to help me on this matter. From there, they will act as a distraction as I get you the cat.

Yoseph: Of course. I'll get some Ravens to meet with you and tell them you're in charge until we get the cat.

Chronos: Understood.

Yoseph turned his back to Chronos and looked down at the group.

Yoseph: What do you think I should do with those worthless pests? Chronos?

Looking back, Chronos was already gone as he was nowhere in sight.

Yoseph: I should have asked for his blood. Maybe I could have made a clone with his speed.

For now, Ravens were ordered to take the group into the holding cells until Yoseph gets an idea of what to do with them. Other Ravens were ordered to go with Chronos, the plan in motion for a capture. With Chronos, he smirked as he thought to himself.

Chronos: (This is just too easy~ Yoseph, your foolishness will fuel my ambitions tenfold!!!)

As Chronos told the Ravens the plan, there was nothing left to do but follow through with the plan. With Chronos following his own ambitions, there was nothing going to stop him as he and the Ravens were heading to the hideout.

Kitty's point of view

Location: Hal's Secret base

And of course the worst thing would happen... After Brenda explained to the group what I had told her, you could have thought the world was ending with how chaotic the conversation got. And of course... I would be asked to back up the story... Expected, but still a nightmare... It still sounded as if the world was ending when I came into the room, leaning on the wall and waiting for the barrage to stop. I really wish I didn't leave Brenda to deal with this alone earlier now.

Kitty: I can answer questions, but not all at once!

As the group died down in trying to understand what was going on, Olive was first.

Olive: So... You're not... From this world...?

Kitty: Not me, or Donald, Goofy, Riku and Sora. All from a different world from here.

Hal: And, the ship you came in, that wasn't from this world either???

Kitty: Nope. We've been using the ship since the start of our whole adventure, far from being from here. Including the AI, we didn't find it here either.

Akira: Then that vehicle I saw on my way here from trying to beat Jena here, it was that thing in the garage when I took the Com- I mean... Yoseph away from the building??

Kitty: The strange looking ship that could come from a cartoon? That's the one.

Ryder: And you and your friends are going from world to world and still getting stronger, getting skills you can use while you fight? Dang. Talk about a one-man army possibility.

The others looked at Ryder as if he was out of place to think that.

Ryder: What? That's a possibility!

I bit my lip at the thought to stop the laugh, shaking my head.

Kitty: Far from a one man army, we'd be absolutely hopeless trying to do any of this alone. Team effort all the way, and it's always going to be team effort. We do get stronger, yes. Skills? Learn as you go to deal with different enemies.

Ryder: Dang. With enough training, you could actually.

Akira: RYDER!!

Ryder: You're thinking it too!

I giggled to myself, but can't deny it would be something impressive to happen.

Kitty: Honestly, if that happened it would be impressive. I'll keep it in mind.

Olive: Going back on track... And Yoseph... Is making a project called Noah and it would mean the end of the ARK???

I nodded, looking at the ground as I answered. This was something I dreaded talking about.

Kitty: He's calling it Project Noah. The basic summary of it? Bringing everyone on the ARK into one being.

Ryder: So like, one mind, one body??

Kitty: Exactly.

Akira: But... That can't be. He's always been careful to protect the ARK, he's the head Commander of Neuron! Why would he do it!?

Kitty: Yoseph doesn't believe that humans are able to survive or evolve on their own. He believes that this project is the only way to save mankind.

Akira: A-And what about the Legions?! He's the one who ran the project!

Kitty: All for the set up towards it... He's been using everyone the whole time, including you and Ryder. In his notes, he detailed about your birth and said it's like you're connected to your legions with how well you work together. He put both of you into Neuron, just for that reason alone to help his own goals.

Ryder: Then... Then what about our father...?

I looked at the ground at the thought of what Max did, before looking at Ryder as I answered.

Kitty: Yoseph never planned for that. Ryder, your father... He did that on his own will to save everyone. He died protecting what was important to him. To protect you two... He always loved you two as his children, and his love never changed, even in that moment.

There was silence in the room, no one speaking as to give the twins space to be in their thoughts. Max is always going to be with them, but it's always going to be tough when remembering the loss...

Olive: I... I don't even know what to say... Or even think...

Kitty: I know it's a lot, just wish I could have said something sooner to make it less of a shock if possible... I'm going to stop Yoseph somehow, but I can't be a one man army on this. It's going to need help from everyone if the plan is to be stopped to save everyone. I have to save my friends and I can't do it without all of you to help me. Please... Can you help me...?

Brenda already agreed to help, it was just the others. But before anyone could say anything else, there was a loud bang that sounded like a door being knocked down.

Hal: Is someone breaking in?! No one should know where this place is though!

The drone immediately went to check where the banging came from, everyone following behind. What we saw was not good, Ravens invading the hideout! Yoseph must have seen footage from the sewer fight and saw Ryder and I still alive! But that doesn't explain how the Ravens know where to find us though, so how did they know?! Got to figure that out when we get out of here!

Akira: Olive, Brenda, Hal, get out of here! We'll keep the Ravens busy while you escape!

Olive: What about you!?

Akira: We'll handle them! GO!!

As Akira began getting Ravens away to get them an escape route, Olive and Brenda got out the door and away from the place with Hal flying behind them. With them at safety, it gave us a chance to fight the Ravens without worrying about them getting hurt. Just going to need to find a lot of money for all the damage going to be done on Hal's place. The Ravens never gave us a chance to get somewhere better to fight, on the attack straight away. I barely got my Keyblade out to block a strike from one.

Kitty: Maybe if we can get them to follow us, we can get them away from here and in a better area to fight!

Ryder: The roof! What about there!?

Akira: Overhead and space to fight on rooftops? Great idea!

Kitty: That's perfect, Ryder!

With the plan set, we all ran out the door with the Ravens on us. Luckily for us, there was a ladder to be able to climb up onto the roof and it was a pretty big space. Once getting there, we found more Ravens waiting for us up here! Oh come on! How many did Yoseph send after us?!

Akira: How many are here!? There weren't this many when I was patrolling with them!

Ryder: We'll have to find out how come there's more after getting them down! Right now, we have not only them, but the Legions they control as well!

Kitty: Any plans on how to deal with them all???

Ryder: If they're anything like mine, they have to have a cooldown when keeping the Legions out for too long. We either attack the Legions or dodge them, run their current timer out and then rush to attack the Raven they were with down fast.

Kitty: That if they're like your legions is scary... But still the best shot we have.

Akira: I just don't get it though... Even when I was partnered with them, for some reason, they're all girls. I don't know why they even wear those helmets... Something really bothers me, and I don't want to see what their face is...

And that would be completely for the best, because if Akira realizes that the Ravens were clones of her? That's going to be one hell of a freakout. As we had to deal with the Ravens ahead of us, the ones chasing us finally got to the roof behind us and had us surrounded.

Kitty: So... Doubt dodging the legions will work with being surrounded like this...

Ryder: We got to separate them into groups if we can...!

Akira: That's going to be the best shot we have...! Someone stays on the roof, the others going different directions?

Kitty: Seems that's the strategy we have to go with! Who's going to stay on the rooftop?

Ryder: Who wants to stay behind and deal with any that stay??

Akira and I looked at each other, both of us thinking the same thing as we were getting off the roof before Ryder could even finish.

Akira: Thanks, Ryder! You're the best for staying!

Kitty: Such a brave officer you are!

Ryder: Hey!! I didn't agree yet to- Shit!!

Ryder had to summon the Axe Legion to initiate the barrier and begin running while fighting the Ravens. I may feel bad for leaving him like that, but he could fight them better than me! As me and Akira got off the roof, we looked up and saw Ravens coming after us.

Akira: As soon as we're done fighting them, we'll meet with the others.

Kitty: Agreed, good luck!

With no time to spare, we both took off running in opposite directions as I glanced behind me quickly to see the plan worked to separate the Ravens as I could see some running to catch up to my direction. As I was leading the Ravens away and keeping a distance to think of how to deal with them, I suddenly found myself frozen as it was hard to move. Everything was grayed out, but I could move with my eyes. When looking around, I saw everything else had stopped as well. If everything is frozen then... Oh for the love of- Please don't be Chronos...! Hearing the sound of metal boots clanking against the concrete, I couldn't move, but I felt my nerves trying to rise up. I hated that I was right... Because who I see is indeed Chronos...

Chronos: Ah, what a lovely sight. The girl of the idiot that he wishes to protect. How quaint to see you two not together for once. I do wonder where the idiot is, but sadly, my focus is on you for once.

I wanted to hiss and say all the things I think about them right now, but if I did it's going to give away I'm aware right now. Thank you Jojo anime, so glad I got to Stardust Crusaders to know I can move in the time stop with SP, once I actually learn how. But if I do anything now, it could make things worse in the future... There's no way this is the last time Chronos is going to be encountered... For now, all I had to do was just keep the act up. Maybe this might help me learn anything about them to use to an advantage, even just what the hell they're doing here!

Chronos: To be frank, I would have wanted to see what would happen with him here, but you are still the next best thing in terms of knowing how this story should end in this world. After all, I was the one that told Yoseph and Jena about the events that were to come. Even those with Keys to arrive~

Clearly Chronos has knowledge of this game, but that still doesn't help! All it shows is they're a manipulative- Stopping the thought here before language is used that shouldn't be used. What do they get out of telling Yoseph and Jena anything though...?

Chronos: After I deliver you, I'll be getting my next payment from Yoseph soon enough~

Deliver to Yoseph?! First, I am not post to be delivered! Second, FUCK THAT IDEA! The only time I plan to see Yoseph is when there's a plan made to kick his sorry ass! My heart is about to race out of my chest if I can't figure out something fast! Chronos is beginning to reach for me as I feel myself panicking. When he was about to touch me, I couldn't take it anymore. Oh this is going to cause trouble, but this is going to be worse if I don't stop it!

Kitty: SP!!!

Star Platinum: ORA!!!!

Summoning Star Platinum, his fist immediately reached for Chronos as the one-eyed bastard didn't even see it coming before it was too late as his head crashed to the ground hard. Star Platinum would have continued, but he then began to freeze up along with me. When Time Stop finished, I was able to move again as Chronos was beginning to get back up slowly as I was backing away fast while looking for an escape. Why do I always have to run on emotions?! Panic quickly turned into dread, not knowing how Chronos was going to react.

Chronos: Ngh... That punch... That was Star Platinum... If I'm not mistaken... He should be with the brat... And yet, he is here with you.

I shrugged, but was absolutely shaking inside. It felt like I was on one of those super fast roller coasters. Or that ride that takes you high in the air, either example works since they're both scary.

Kitty: I'm just guessing the other idiot snuck it off Jammy, who the hell knows. But if Star could land a good punch on you, no complaints here about having him.

Chronos looked at me as their helmet began to flicker softly from the punch he received from SP. Maybe if I somehow get lucky, I might be able to find out who the hell they are!

Chronos: You're probably thinking, "If I can somehow lure him in again to get close enough, I can get that helmet off his head due to weakening it." Aren't you?

Kitty: I'm thinking about a lot of things. My thoughts are my own though, no business to time manipulating people.

Chronos: And yet, had you wanted, you could have kept Star Platinum on the advance. If I had to say your range of using him right now, it is roughly about... A second at most. Less than if it was just an instant of pure desperation.

I stopped the growl wanting to escape, hating how right Chronos is. Not exactly like I planned to have to use time stop or move in frozen time so soon!

Kitty: Well, excuse me for not expecting to see you so soon. Which brings to the main point, THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE WORKING WITH YOSEPH?!

Chronos looked at me and began to chuckle.

Chronos: Looks like you caught me monologuing. Had I known you were aware, I wouldn't have said that in front of you. You were aware of the entire time I talked. And if you were, that just makes it more fun for what can happen here~

Kitty: Monologuing must be another talent of yours with how much you do it. But it still doesn't mean my question can avoid being answered. What are you doing here, Chronos?

Chronos: Well, I was the one that told ole Yoseph that his plans to succeed in Project Noah could be obtained in the near future. After all, I did tell him of your impending arrival, though being vague. He thought the boy with his Keyblade was the key to his success. I never said it was about the Keyblade. I meant someone else who had knowledge of events just like I do here~

Kitty: Losing track how often it's been established you told Yoseph, Jena was a surprise though. Explain why she was in the final form though... And Yoseph's an idiot. He just sees the project and doesn't even think about info, just face value. Not surprising how well you played him there.

Chronos: Oh? Jena? Funny as you should say that. After she escaped from the Astral Plane with Akira being lost behind her, I was able to... Sneak a good conversation in being able to tell her that Yoseph's plans are much closer to being realized than she thought. Maybe fibbing that it was near completion and could set off any moment. You should have seen the fear in her eyes when she heard all that. She didn't believe me until I told her what Project Noah was about. The moment she began to lose hope, she took out every Blue Evolve she had and chugged it down like it was her booze. Satisfying when you can make someone desperate enough when you speak the right words~

Kitty: You... Sick, twisted BASTARD! You sent her to death for NOTHING! And for what? To play some sort of game? Jena could have had a chance to live!

Chronos: If you haven't realized that the war between me and your foolish author friend is just like that of another game where we strategize and plan out actions through. You have to be an idiot there to not see that even though this fight is real, you have to think outside the box to come through with plans one way or another.

I rolled my eyes, trying not to lose control of my anger.

Kitty: Yeah, yeah. It's obvious you have some deep hatred for Jammy for whatever reason. Yeah, even messing with the Guardian book? That was a new low. But why the hatred in the first place?

Chronos looked at me before getting more serious.

Chronos: It's the fact that his existence at all infuriates me.

Kitty: Okay... So you clearly need to get some serious help and fast...

Chronos: Oh, if only you know how much the hatred ran. His happiness should never be a thing of today. None of it should have happened. He should have stayed alone, with no connections to his heart.

Kitty: Like you? Because as far as I can tell, you're the only one alone around here and forcing people to submit to you. Is that the only way you know how to make connections?

Chronos: As a matter of fact, yes. When you have been betrayed time and time again, you learn that you are only expendable to a point where no one has any use of you. I only just broke that cycle and became my own master.

Oh, that hits in the feels hard... Betrayal is something no one should go through... but this is still wrong.

Kitty: So you just put the same misery on people you've been through to avoid going through it again? How is that breaking a cycle when it's just inflicting it onto others? Just because you became your own Master, doesn't even stop the risk of betrayal. It's always going to be there.

Chronos: But instead of me being hurt, I get to relish what I sowed in terms of leading others to their demise. Ursula, Hades, Jafar, even that miserable hunter in that jungle. With their own ambitions to seek control and rule over others, I set them up, only to fail in knowing how they would be defeated in the end. Though, I do not know what happened to Ursula. After our parting, she was meant to contact me, and never did. You wouldn't happen to know what went on in Atlantica, do you?

I bit my lip, almost shivering from the fright of remembering what happened. But telling Chronos the truth is just going to cause more trouble for Jammy.

Kitty: Just like you said, set up just to meet her end.

Chronos looked at me and glared. I could tell he wasn't pleased with that answer.

Chronos: Ursula was supposed to have survived. Yet, she did not contact me as promised. So, I had to summarize something that went wrong that led to her ultimate end.

Kitty: Things can change easily when there's people with knowledge of games and the worlds. Surely the one who keeps making these portals, or at least giving the means too, would understand that the most.

Chronos looked at me knowing I was right. Ever since his involvement, things have been changing and been making our adventure much more trouble for us.

Kitty: So you lost another one of the people under your control. Why do you ask? Suddenly actually care about their lives?

Chronos: If you think I care even a little about them, you're wrong. Truth be told, Ursula was a bitch that shrank away when I tore one of her tentacles off. After she knew I was serious about killing her, it was either die to me, or die by another means that would end her faster than I would do it. Her death... Would have been slow AND agonizing.

I winced hard at what Chronos said, glad to know what happened to her tentacle, but shaking my head to get the images out of what Chronos could mean.

Kitty: Huh, so it is actually possible for someone to be worse than Yoseph. Nice job on getting first, even if it's just because you're absolutely demented. What does even sending anyone to their deaths do for you?

Chronos: To give you and everyone false hopes when you either see your enemies die, or defeated by your hands. Because when the time comes where that Author and I fight, he will know true pain. And I have been observing his actions. That even includes where it involves you, cat.

Kitty: At least use my name if you've been stalking us the whole time... That explains where the robots get that tendency from though. Back to the main subject...

I was terrified, but more terrified of what could happen to Jammy if Chronos can get to him. Getting my Keyblade, I tried to keep my hands steady as I pointed it at Chronos.

Kitty: I am not letting you get ANYWHERE near Jammy...!

Chronos took a careful look at me as he seemed to be a great observer with what he said next.

Chronos: Says the feline that is shaking in terror of having to fight. You speak so highly of protecting him, yet your words don't match how your body feels.

Kitty: Then it's lucky that I'll be learning how to deal with people like you. No more sidelines, just fighting for my friends.

Chronos: Is that so then...? Let's find out!

Stopping time, Chronos then dashed towards me as I was helpless in this state, I got to move and fast..! How the heck did Jotaro move in the time stop???

Chronos: If you can't even figure out how to move while I have this in effect, you are hopeless to even stand a chance! You will die for trying to fight me!!!

I growled, knowing that I needed to do something. Thinking back, I know someone explained the time stop before. It was... Forcing or willing yourself to move! Jotaro had more experience moving the longer he was in the time stop to get to five seconds. Come on...! Even if I could just move my fingers slightly, it's a start...! As Chronos rushed towards me, my instincts to have SP move launched as with being invisible, Chronos was grabbed into a bear hug by SP before freezing again. The force was making Chronos struggle as he could feel nothing but air when trying to push away from my Stand. Chronos raised his arms and shouted something.

Chronos: ASTRAL ARMAMENT!!

His gloves began to glow as with being held, he was in close proximity to SP, he raised his right arm up before swinging, as he made a clean hit with SP! With the punch being made to my Stand, the attack was reflected onto me as I felt blood coming out of my mouth from the hard punch. I could see SP let go when hit by the attack as Chronos landed on the ground.

Chronos: Well, it's a good thing Yoseph gave me the time to have some of the projects in advance when I first visited. I had a feeling I would need his work in case of a spirit or should we say, Stand was to grab hold of me. I had planned to reveal these when the Author and I fought, but sadly, I do not have the means to see a Stand yet. Glad I decided on physical defenses first in case I get attacked.

I was completely panicking now. Even when a Stand User can fight another Stand, Chronos just broke that rule and gave himself cheat codes! Was this also because of meeting Yoseph!? To plan for in case he faced Jammy's Stand!? I need to move or time to start moving soon, or this is over before I can do anything!

Chronos: Sorry that you had to use your precious second to just grab me, but if you thought it would be that easy to deter me, you're quite mistaken. Now... DIE!!!

Charging towards me, Chronos flicked his wrist out to have his sword come out of the gauntlet before gripping it to jump into the air. As I glanced from just the side of my eyes, I could see him descending towards me with intentions to decapitate me. As I kept panicking, I felt the flow of time resume as I quickly backed my head back as I saw it just come inches from my nose before I quickly rotated my body to kick Chronos' back to send him rolling against the ground. Now that time was moving again, I finally got to spit the blood out of my mouth and wipe it away as I glared at Chronos.

Kitty: So that's why you're working with Yoseph. Send him to his demise and get some projects from him in return... I'll admit, it's smart to get something to deal with Stands. But YOU are the one mistaken if you think I'm dying so quickly!

I have no idea where this courage was coming from, but I was taking advantage of it while I still had it. Chronos faced towards me as he got up on his feet and brushed off his armor of the dust on the roof.

Chronos: Then I'll have to make sure you see why it is inevitable to lose to me when you have no knowledge of the uses of stopping time. You know NOTHING of what is possible.

Kitty: Can't deny that. But I highly doubt even you knew immediately the possibilities or even how to stop time. Even if I lose to you now, I'll take this chance to learn what I can now.

Chronos: And like a fly caught in a trap, you will soon wish that you never knew my power!!!

Kitty: Already wishing I never knew you, so by default? That includes any powers you have. At least I could take the time stop and use it for good, unlike you who just use it for death and manipulation for the bullshit reason of "being your own master" for the dumbest reason of avoiding hurt. Which still is never going away.

Putting air quotes around the being your own master part, Chronos chuckled as he looked at me with his one red eye that flashed to get brighter.

Chronos: But you see, I'm not just being figurative, poetic, crazy, or straight up insane. When I say I will be your death... I am YOUR Death, straight up.

Kitty: If I'm dying to you, at least I die fighting.

Chronos began to chuckle as he got his sword ready.

Chronos: Then I will enjoy it when you SCREAM!!!

Dashing towards me, Chronos was moving fast as I had only moments to raise my Keyblade to block the strike.

Chronos: I'll give you a fight that no one else would in their lifetime!!!

Kitty: I feel honored for such a chance~ Almost feeling special having this fight if no one else would~

Chronos kept his pressure as I soon began coughing in seeing his fist digging into my stomach before lifting his right leg to kick my kneecap to make me lose my balance.

Chronos: You're sloppy, unbalanced. In a real fight, you would be dead in moments. But for me, I want to make this last and make you realize just how weak, insignificant, and hopeless you are.

I clenched my fists as I looked at the ground, trying not to let the words sting.

Kitty: I am weak, and I may be hopeless thinking that I had a chance of getting away from you alive...

Looking at Chronos, I glared as I felt my anger rising further. Maybe in this case, lack of magic is good so it doesn't get out of control.

Kitty: But insignificant? Maybe before, but now I have friends who are family. And they taught me something. Not to ever give up, and I'm not giving up against you!

Chronos: Heh heh heh. Good. Because I want to crush that spirit that is willing to fight. The more it fights, the better when the hopelessness sets in!

Kitty: Funny, because I was going to enjoy your hopelessness when your sadistic dreams of the spirit crushing are never coming true.

Chronos: You say that now, but I doubt you're even CLOSE to fighting me. Given how you are, all you are is just like a practice dummy who only receives blows and can't fight back. And just what CAN you do??? You're no game expert, you're certainly no fighting expert. You're just human.

Kitty: So I've gone from cat to human now? Wow, monologuing and also indecisive on what species I am. You sound so high and mighty, but honestly you just seem a pretty low tier villain. Actually... I'll say more mid, just with the time abilities. Still not high though. Can't even come up with your own lines and steal them from other villains? Don't think Cell would have been happy there, perfect or not.

Chronos: Fictional characters are only that. FICTIONAL.

Kitty: And technically... You're the leader of a bunch of fictional characters from movies and games. Fitting, considering last I checked you yourself was just a fictional character from Guardian.

Chronos looked at me and cracked his neck, which I don't know why others do that since Krillin broke his in the abridged, but Chronos began to chuckle.

Chronos: I think you failed to realize something that I just said.

Kitty: Okay, King of the monologues. Enlighten me.

Before I knew what was going to happen, I blinked and lost sight of Chronos while my spine chills when hearing his voice.

Chronos: I'm real... I'm not saying it theoretically. Figuratively. Poetically. Symbolically. Or ANY of those fancy terms. I'm REAL straight up.

Kitty: How..?! Wha- Okay... I guess that explains your fourth wall knowledge. But still... HOW?! You are a CHARACTER in a FANFICTIONAL BOOK.

Chronos: Funny, with just how one thought can be placed inside a person's head, especially that fool, and you can place yourself within a realm that isn't your own and be close but not noticed until the right time. I don't think you understood why I did that. Because normally, an author GRANTS fourth wall knowledge or those close to him. For me? I am as REAL as they come. I'm not fictional... I'M FUCKING HUMAN!!!

I felt a punch in my back as I stumbled forward before turning around to see Chronos punch at my face to make me stumble backwards more.

Kitty: Human with a freaking punch...! Honestly, would have guessed a cyborg or possessed armor.

Chronos: No. Unlike those worthless imaginations and thoughts of fictional characters, I am MUCH more than how they are. My thinking, my view, my knowledge, and even how I act is ALL HUMAN!!

Kitty: Including knowledge of all the games, especially ones that Jammy knows well... You purposely been making all these portals, and getting innocent people involved in all this just for hatred of an existence? Yeah, get some serious help and FAST.

As I tried to raise my arms to defend myself, it was like Chronos was getting faster and stronger with his attacks. I tried to will SP to help defend, but it was like fighting someone in fast forward on a video tape.

Chronos: The only reason I am here is because THIS timeline should NOT exist!!! ALL THIS SHOULD NEVER BE HAPPENING!!! Not this silly adventure, not his happiness or anything!!!

Kitty: And yet, YOU caused the adventure with the damn portal on the TV! Not hard to know it was you, so you're hating on something you caused... Not the main point though, what has Jammy even DONE to you to not even deserve happiness???

Chronos: Threatening my OWN life.

Kitty: Huh...?

Chronos: I will say it again: THIS timeline should NOT exist at ALL!!! Do you get what I'm saying?

Kitty: Because of there being a timeline like this... It's threatening how the future is supposed to be... Because of all the betrayal you had in your upbringing, happiness is a huge threat? Weirdest thing to become a threat. But if happiness keeps growing, it's going to cause you to risk your rise in power that you've been building up.

Chronos: Let me explain in a way that even YOUR puny mind can comprehend. Like how Ansem, Seeker of Darkness traveled from the future in search for a vessel that could be used to give him form, I needed one during a time where the idiot was in his most creative moment. By using him, I was able to save my mind from being annihilated and giving myself an anchor to this entire timeline. With how EVERYONE sees me as the character Chronos, it become BEFITTING considering my circumstances as I am FROM THE FUCKING FUTURE!!!

Kitty: As if THAT wasn't obvious enough with the whole "this timeline shouldn't exist" rage. Seriously surprised that it's not radiating off you in waves with how mad you're getting over that.

Chronos: And if you knew just how capable I was in the future with how I destroyed lives, you would be showing much more fear with how much I killed, how much I took hold to reclaim my life and rule it under my fists.

Kitty: All that just sounds like a classic villain speech of oh I didn't get what I want, so I'll be the big baddy to get my way. NO ONE should ever kill just to reclaim their own life or power. How many lives have you even destroyed for the sake of your own way of living?!

Before I knew what happened next, my face was taken into his hand as I was slammed to the ground. I felt dizzy as the pain made it hard to even keep my eyes open.

Chronos: AND WHO GETS TO DECIDE TO CHANGE A TIMELINE!? I was HAPPY with what I accomplished!!! I had only myself and what power I had to make my own in terms of changing my life!!! And aren't you being hypocritical as with how villains in movies are, they actually had good points to WHY they became EVIL!? Tai Lung, was promised an upbringing of being the Dragon Warrior, only to be denied. Barbossa, Pirate Captain who was cursed with his crew to reclaim the Aztec Gold they sold off to reclaim their humanity. Marleen in the game of The Last of Us. Ellie in the game was a LIVING BREATHING cure for a virus that could have saved humanity, but because Joel didn't want to lose a child, he rather let humanity be destroyed before Ellie's life was taken! SHALL I GO ON!?

And this day gets stranger when agreeing on that point.

Kitty: Tai Lung is an example of someone who shouldn't even be seen as a villain. Not when he was promised it the whole time as a young cub. Not still a good idea letting rage get to you, but justified completely. And the pirate crew? Well... One way to learn about checking what you sell, but good they wanted to lift the curse. Ellie and Joel... That I actually agree with you on... I'm not saying all villains are just pure evil, I agree with a lot of their motives. Just don't agree with the motive of the villian who is causing unneeded trouble for innocent lives!

Chronos: And yet, with so many heroes, it's funny how those same heroes have also created their villains. Tai Lung was the adoptive son of Shifu and filled with promises of being a Dragon Warrior, yet betrayed and felt lied to when his whole life led to nothing. Jack Sparrow was a legendary pirate for sure, but with how he acted, anyone would think he's nothing more than a dumbass. As for Joel? He is NO hero. All because he lost a daughter years ago after the virus started, he decides to save one life, while DOOMING THE REST!!!

Kitty: Heroes and Villains? Always a complicated topic. Sometimes it's just a case they think they're doing the right thing. Everyone is always going to do that, and it can cause problems. Part of being human!

Chronos: And yet, one simple change to a timeline, and you think the lives of others who live in the future don't think they deserve to live? You think killing the original timeline for a new one is WORTH IT!?

Kitty: Oh all lives deserve to live! And no timeline should ever suffer for it! But I don't know your future, I know my present with my friends. And just like you want to live, so do they.

Chronos: And THAT is what made him weak. If he stopped caring so much for his so called "friends", that insolent brat would be so much stronger.

Kitty: Strength comes in different ways, including people to care about. Maybe if you weren't a killer, that might be more understandable! How high and mighty of you to talk about people's lives in the future when you just end people's lives!

Chronos: I AM TRYING TO PROTECT THE FUTURE WHERE I COME FROM!!! If I must kill thousands to save the future by any means necessary, I WILL!!!

Before I could say another word, Chronos began his assault again as I was being attacked left and right with how fast he was. It was like seeing a blur with how fast his movements were. I took a hit to the face, my left knee buckling from being kicked in, my air knocked out of me from a gut punch, and then being thrown into a wall as I fell down onto my side. Chronos was walking up to me slowly as I tried to get some air back in my lungs. Closing my eyes a moment to stop the tears of pain wanting to escape, I looked at Chronos and tensed as if trying to make the pain less from another barrage I felt was going to come. My heart never stopped pounding though, fear gripping onto it tightly and refusing to let go no matter how much I try to bury it.

Chronos: Killing you right now, would be a pity in terms of a swift and quiet end. In my eyes, you don't know what suffering is yet.

Hold back the scoff. Hold. Back. The. Scoff. Mind!

Chronos: Because where I see it, that brat seems to hold you in high regards. Imagine what he would do if he found you dead? Imagine how he would feel seeing your death in front of him?

Kitty: How is it practically EVERYTHING you say makes you even more sick and twisted...?

Chronos: Because the brat knows no real pain. That Dagger of his allows him to erase mistakes caused in this little adventure you all are on. Even if it's moments. With that Dagger, he knows no real pain. Unlike that event that took place in the Palace of Azad. When he knew you were really dead, that's when his Darkness REALLY ate him up.

Kitty: Of course you'd take joy in that... He saw me die then, even if I am still alive. What difference would it even make you doing the killing then?

Chronos: Ambition. A drive. A will. A NEED to kill who took EVERYTHING from him. And once that need arises, there will be no going back for him.

Kitty: For the love of- Okay, I'll admit. I completely understand you're wanting to save your future, who wouldn't want to save their life? But isn't there some other way to do it instead of constant bloodshed?

Chronos: Not without causing a paradox. And frankly, if only you knew who you were talking to. You would be doing laps in that small, anxious, little head of yours.

Kitty: Then how about doing someone so simple it might not compute in that dark void you call a mind? TELL ME WHO YOU ARE!

Chronos: And ruin the guesses those "readers" have been guessing about me? Not a chance.

Kitty: Worth a try. Well since you're still letting me live, how about doing something else for me?

Chronos looked at me before getting close to look in my eye with his red glowing eye.

Chronos: And why should I?

Kitty: Because you could also have a chance to get something out of it.

Chronos looks at me before standing up after hearing this.

Chronos: And what makes you think you have anything good to offer?

Can one thing just be easy...? Getting up slowly to at least get into a sitting position, I looked at Chronos.

Kitty: Would you just hear it out at least before shooting it down? Who knows, you could have missed out on a good thing for you.

Piquing his interest, Chronos took a step back in case I was trying something.

Chronos: Proceed.

Kitty: The villain hideout, it's at... Hollow Bastion if I remember right?

Chronos: Yes, considering Hades is still thawing out due to the world you all came from has yet to melt yet.

Kitty: The one who LITERALLY could burst into flames at a moment's notice... Is still frozen...? Huh, so fire head really needed to cool down a lot it seems.

Chronos: Wasting my time.

Kitty: Says the monologuer who talked through most of the time stop at the beginning. But anyway, since you have knowledge of Kingdom Hearts, how many worlds are there before getting to the hideout?

Chronos looked at me before answering.

Chronos: Had this adventure continued without this world, there would be two.

Going to assume those are Halloween Town and Neverland. Not as many as I thought there were... But still hopefully doable for the offer...

Kitty: That would give me time to train with SP, understand the time stop. Clearly, you'll be in Hollow Bastion, so why not have a real fight there? If I win, you have to tell me who you are. I'll promise now it would just be me to know, not another person would be told.

Chronos looked at me with the offer of what he has to do if he loses, but is piqued.

Chronos: And what if I win?

Kitty: Since you were the one who said about anything good to offer, what would you want? Only fair you get to choose the prize.

Chronos looked at me as he got close.

Chronos: I know about you being a "substitute" Princess of Heart. Since that innocent Kairi is residing inside of Sora, her power is of no use. I was hoping to steal Sora and free her heart, but with another Princess awake and still has her heart, yours would make a perfect substitute in terms of opening the way to Kingdom Hearts.

Ever wish the ground would swallow you up whole? Yeah, the ground better do that right now! My eyes widened as I looked at Chronos, the one thing I was hoping the whole time is he somehow didn't know.

Kitty: Ursula figured it out and told you before her demise?

Chronos: You would be correct. Rather, with how she described it, you could say she died without knowing.

Kitty: And if only the same could be said for you. How did Ursula even describe it?

Chronos: All I remember is the fact that the Parasite Cage couldn't contain the light you manifested and was unable to eat you. A Princess' heart cannot be consumed by Darkness as it is entirely pure of light. With that thought in mind, I deduced you were a Princess the first moment you stepped into this Universe.

Kitty: Stepped in? That's a laugh. Sucked through a random portal and waking up on Destiny Islands in this universe? That's accurate.

Chronos: Same meaning, different circumstances.

Kitty: Whatever. Do we have a deal or not?

Chronos looked at me and began to chuckle.

Chronos: You are a little sneak to make such a deal when you can't win. But, I won't pass up an opportunity for more power.

Kitty: A lot can happen between worlds, don't count your win before it even happens.

Thinking about it, Chronos took a step back and looked me in the eyes.

Chronos: Then, I would suggest you get training then.

Kitty: Oh? Must be more crazy then I thought, almost sounded as if you were giving some care there.

After I stand up however, I feel my air leaving me once more as Chronos was nowhere in sight until I looked down to see his hand digging deep into my stomach.

Chronos: Unfortunately, I still have a deal with Yoseph to finish up. So, if you do plan to even make it to me, you better survive against that loser first.

Can I please... For five minutes... KEEP SOME AIR IN MY LUNGS?!

Kitty: You know... A good way of surviving is being able to breathe!

Before another word was said from either of us, Chronos pulled his hand out and then struck me hard on the head to the floor. When I crashed to the floor, everything went black for me. All I feel is Chronos picking me up, to take me to where Yoseph is...
