Yuya Sakaki

I got bored at the apartment so I decided to go shopping in the new district in paradise city. I visited the new anime shop and bought myself merch and a "Victuri" shirt for Kuro. I had my hood up the whole time so I could avoid being seen by anyone I knew. It was busy on the streets but this was still the same city I grew up in, happy people, entertaining duels, and a warm feeling of being together. It was good to be back but I wasn't ready to face anyone as I looked up I noticed the familiar red and green hair of someone that was way too familiar.

"Yuya you're such a jerk! Give me back my ice cream!", A girl whined.

The tomato haired teen smiled at whoever he was with and looked my way. Once again my eyes were caught by those red ones that I fell in love with years ago. I was the first to look away before he finally started to get a good look at me. I walked as fast as I could past him and disappeared into the crowd.

"Shit please don't tell me he saw me! I wasn't ready to see him yet! Shit shit shit!!!!", I mentally screamed as I started running back home.

(Yuya's pov)

Those (e/c) eyes, was it just my imagination...I could've sworn that I knew that person. Maybe it's just my imagination...Yeah it has to be. It can't be her she disappeared a year ago after the doctors predicted that she wouldn't make it. Still though, those (e/c) eyes...I-I have to figure out who that is.

As I stared into the crowd trying to find that person again I lost sight of them. I felt a tug on my arm and smiled, "Let's go back home."

Yuto's pov
(Narrator's pov)
The taxi driver had brought both (y/n) and Kuro to the best underground duel site in the city and (y/n) was racking up wins like no tomorrow. Everyone wanted to duel you but you were getting bored with the constant wins.

"Oh wow you're really good! Hey mind if I duel you?", A female voice rang in your ears.

Thankfully your (F/c) hoodie hid your hair and eyes or she would've realised it was you. There she was Ruri Kurosaki in the flesh, and right behind her was her older brother and the violet banged teen you were trying to avoid. You didn't reply but just gave a small frown as you examined the three.

"Hey why don't you answer the girl? Come on do you accept the duel or not?!", Shun growled.

"Shun stop! Maybe he's just tired after that duel. It was a heavy duel so he must be.", Ruri whined at her brother's rude behavior.

Yuto kept staring at you and it started to make you worry if he saw it was you it would all be over!

"Oh yes!! That was a great duel babe! You did such a good job let's go get ice cream to celebrate!", You blushed as you felt someone's arm snake around your neck and squeeze your left breast.

Looking up you saw the annoying silver haired girl you called a friend and growled at her! Shun blushed in embarrassment seeing as he had just growled at a young woman, Ruri glared at her brother when she realised as well. Yuto just seemed a little more interested in you and raised his hand to take off your hoodie.

"Sorry baby girl but maybe my girlfriend can duel you another day. Nice to meet y'all bye!!", Kuro cheered before grabbing your wrist and dragging you out of the rink.

You made eye contact with Yuto before finally being pulled out of sight and you swore you saw the sadness in his eyes. You started to panic when you made it up the stairs from the rink. You were hyperventilation from the thought of being caught, Kuro screamed at you to calm down but eventually you couldn't breathe anymore and you fainted.

"(Y/n)....(y/n)....", You could faintly hear Kuro's voice in the distance until you couldn't anymore.

"Shit I'm weak... I'm still weak!"

(Y/n's pov)
I could already see the Maiami Dome and all the Turbo Duelists were lined up for the tournament. My heart was bumping with excitement, I haven't seen a turbo duel in ages and all the duel runners were getting me more hyped.

"Geez could you calm down?! You're literally shaking like could you not!!", Kumori yelled trying to hold me down in a hug.

I giggled at her failure and escaped her hug, "Can I run there? Look it's literally right there! Please let me run!"

"Fine run your crazy ass there!", Kuro yelled but I was already out of range.

My legs ran as quickly as the could until I ran into the arena, the barrier separating the track and stands was the only thing that stopped me as I skidded to a stop. I was grinning like an idiot as I looked up at the racers that were passing me. That's when I wished I hadn't, it was him...those gorgeous sapphire eyes and the long blue bang that hung off the left side of his head, I'd recognize him from anywhere. As our eyes met I noticed his widen in shock as I froze in fear. In that moment it felt like time stopped and we were the only ones there but that moment ended as quickly as it had started. Yugo and his dragon zipped passed me as they raced against their opponent. I turned on my heels and started running out of the arena!

"H-hey where are you going?! (Y/n)?!", Kuro yelled for me to come back but I couldn't think of anything else but running away from him.

I wasn't ready to see him yet not now not ever!

"Rin I saw her!!!"

(Y/n's pov)
My new school was absolutely beautiful, the campus was huge and the classrooms were cute and so were the uniforms!! It was a white blazer with red and gold trimming (Yuya's signature blazer)  over any color shirt and a red skirt. I was in the office to get my schedule it was kinda fun, while on my way there a boy with light blue hair caught my attention. He looked so familiar but I didn't recognise him, he noticed that I was lost and stopped me.

"Pardon me Miss are you lost?", He asked politely.

I nodded and informed him that I was looking for the office and he gladly took me there.

"Thank joy you Mr...ummm..."

"Shiunin... Sora Shiunin. It's a pleasure to meet you miss.", He smiled extending his hand to me.

"Just call me (y/n). Well I'll see you later Sora!", I cheered as I took his hand and shook it before walking into the office.

"I have to find Yuri!"

(Yuri's pov)
"Yuri!!! Yuri!!! Yuri come quick! There's something you have to see!", Sora yelled attempting to pull me along.

"What in Academia could possibly have you this shaken up and what could possibly make you believe I'd want to see it?", I asked sternly putting all my weight to my feet so I could stop him.

"Yuri please just come with me so I know I'm not crazy!"

I sighed and followed him along as we walked to the office. He stopped me as he looked over a corner and then motioned for me to have a look. I just gave him a bored stare as I looked out of the corner but my pink hues soon widened in shock as I saw her.

Her (h/c) hair had grown out and she now had purple streaks, same gorgeous (e/c) hues, same beautiful smile, and same gorgeous   blush that constantly greeted your face.

"(Y/-", I tried to call for you but Sora pulled me away before I could.

"Yuri I just wanted you to see her....I'm not crazy but there's something wrong.", Sora started as he pulled me to an empty hallway.

"She was right there Sora why would you pull me away!!?"

"Yuri...she didn't recognize me... s-she didn't know who I was. I-I think she lost her memory.", Sora frowned trying to hold in the tears.

My body trembled at the thought of what he had just said.

"S-she what?"
