(Narrator's pov)
After the sudden news of (Y/n) kissing (Sora/Shun/Zarc/Dennis) (Yu-boy's name) wasn't seen for days. He suddenly vanished and it worried everyone until finally he reappeared. He was angry and came to a conclusion he'd duel (Boy above name) and if he lost he'd move on and let you love someone who could actually make you happy. He knew you wouldn't approve of this so he kept it a secret since he believed you no longer loved him but he didn't want to give up just yet.

Yuya Sakaki
(Yuya's pov)
After I found out about Sora and (Y/n) I decided to train at the Leo Institute with Reiji for a couple of days. I was gonna duel Sora to see if he was able to protect (Y/n) and if he could I'd give up and let her be happy with someone else. I didn't want to live with all this regret so I thought this was the only way I could do it.

I texted Sora to meet me in the eastern outskirts of the city and to tell no one. He agreed so I made my way there. This was it if I lost today I'd lose (Y/n) forever and I was more than willing to take that risk.

(Timeskip)
I waited in the deserted outskirts of our city with my white hood draped over my head. Sora was coming and he was bringing a challenge with him. I heard the door to the factory open and his voice. He walked up to me until we were only a couple feet apart.

"Duel me, if I let go of (Y/n) than I want to make sure you can protect her and make her happy.", I growled activating my duel disk.

"Still talking high and mighty, you gave up years ago so quit with the sudden interest in her!", Sora growled activating his.

Action Field activated, Action cards dispersed.

"Duel!", We both chanted as the action duel began.

I drew my first six cards and smiled seeing my Timegazer and Stargazer magician in hand, I'm going all out. I don't care if Sora is a friend today I'm proving a point even if (Y/n) hates me and isn't here to see it.

"I set the pendulum scale..."

(Y/n's pov)
"I set the pendulum scale.."

I gasped hearing Yuya's voice in my head and groaned as the scar on my neck and cheek started to burn suddenly. Yuya was in danger my red bangs started to glow and so did I. I closed my eyes and suddenly I felt weightless, once I opened them I was in a different place and saw Yuya and Sora fighting.

I had to stop them but in this form there's no way I could. I forced my soul back into my body and gasped as I woke up.

"Kuro!! Call Yugo!", I screamed.

"What why?!"

"I have to protect Yuya!", I cried.

Yuto Sakaki
(Yuto's pov)
Of course I was upset when I heard that Shun kissed (Y/n), I still loved her and he knew that! Ever since that day I couldn't face him so I stayed locked up in my room for a while, I broke up with Mieru since I realised that I really didn't love her and she was just using me as a trophy to show off to her friends.

"I have to finish this. I'll duel him and if he wins than he can have (Y/n). Dark Rebellion Dragon, I know I haven't dueled properly without you but today I beg you to help me.", I sighed as I spoke to my card.

I smiled hearing the familiar roar of my Ace monster in my mind, it was final I'm going to duel Shun and this will decide everything for (Y/n). She can hate me all she wants but I'll never stop loving her even if she is with Shun. I called Shun and told him to meet me in the underground arena in the western area of the city. He agreed and I got my deck ready for a duel.

"(Y/n) this might be the last time I ever speak to you but I just want you to know I'll always love you.", I smiled kissing the photo I took of you on our first date.

I was ready for what was ahead of me even if it wasn't something I wanted to face.

(Timeskip)
"What's this about Yuto?", Shun huffed as he walked onto the arena stage.

I activated my duel disk and stared at him with a blank expression, he sighed and activated his as we started our duel.

"Ladies first.", I teased.

Shun growled at me and summoned two monsters in defense mode before quickly ending his turn. I smiled as my turn started, I had the right cards for an Xyz summon.

"I summon..."

(Y/n's pov)
"I summon.."

My body froze when I heard that voice, suddenly blue dragon like marking appeared over my shoulder. My scar was burning and everything seemed to hurt.

"(Y/n) oh my god!", Kuro rushed to my side as I collapsed to my knees and held my left shoulder.

My (e/c) hues started to glow blue and suddenly I wasn't in my home anymore, as I looked around I saw Shun and Yuto in a duel but I wasn't me I was Yuto's Dark Rebellion Dragon.

"(Y/n)!", I snapped out of my trance and was back in my body when Kuro called my name.

"We're connected..."

"Huh?!"

"I'm connected to Yuto's dragon! That's why this is happening to me I have to stop them!", I yelled rushing to put on my shoes and taking Kuro's Duel Runner.

"Dark Rebellion Dragon please watch over them until I get there.", I prayed as I sped up completely unaware that all my hair was turning blue.

I have to stop them!

(Yugo's pov)
"Pffft ahahahhaa you've got to be kidding me Yugo! You're actually gonna duel me just cuz I kissed your ex? This is to good!", Zarc laughed as I challenged him.

I quickly rushed towards him and punched him directly in the jaw making him fall to the ground. I glared down at him with lifeless sapphire eyes and frowned.

"Get serious about this you drunkard. If not I'll wipe the floor with you.", I growled activating my duel disk.

"Tch just cuz you're dueling on solid ground doesn't make you tough shit banana brains.", Zarc picked himself up and activated him duel disk, "But fine I'll take you on you weakling."

"Yugo stop this! This isn't going to bring (Y/n) back, please stop!", Rin yelled at me from the sidelines as I started the Duel.

"Zarc this is ridiculous! He's your little brother don't do this!", Ray screamed.

"Duel!!", We both yelled.

It was too late, this duel had already begun before it even started. I know that (Y/n) hates me, she'll never love someone she fears. This duel is the only way I know I can blow off steam and if Zarc can beat me than I know she'll be in good hands. Zarc's eyes started to glow a golden yellow and I followed his lead as my eyes started to glow green.

"I draw!", Zarc growled.

I payed close attention to his movements as the girls watched from the sidelines. Rin disappeared into the building but I didn't care I had to finish this once and for all!

(Y/n's pov)
I groaned as I was suddenly struck with a terrible headache, I sensed such a negative aura coming from somewhere. It belonged to someone with a very sad and broken heart.

"(Y/n) I brought you fo- HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!", Kirk screamed dropping the plate of food she had in her hand.

I looked in my mirror and noticed that my hair had turned full green and my eyes were no longer (e/c), one was blue the other green. I was going to panic until I got a phone call on my duel disk. I calmed myself before answering it and realised it was Rin.

"(Y/n)!! YUGO'S DUELING ZARC AND THEY'RE BOTH IN BERSERK MODE! He won't listen to me you have to help him! Please you have to save him from this pit he's falling in!", My green haired friend cried.

I dropped my duel disk and stood there in shock as I took in all that information. That's when everything came together, I was reacting to Yugo's sadness. The headaches, the transformation, they're signs for me to help him.

"Kuro I have to go!", I panicked as I rushed out of my home.

"Where are you going?!"

"To save an idiot that still loves me!", I smiled dialing Rin again.

I had to get to Yugo before things got ugly. Only I can do it!

(Yuri's pov)
Dennis seemed so relieved to see me after my sudden disappearance. He seemed so happy about something but I didn't want to hear it. We continued walking to the location I wanted as he babbled on about our history class. I finally stopped at a ledge that overlooked the ocean, behind us was a luscious forest which was once the location of Academia. This was the reborn location of where I had killed you.

"Dennis do you know where we are?", I asked as I continued walking closer to the edge of the hill.

"Huh...Oh this....this is where our (Y/n) died all those years ago...", Dennis frowned looking out at the sun set that feel behind the ocean.

"Correct...Dennis duel me. If I lose I'll let myself be washed away from the here like (Y/n) was. If I lose you have to watch over her for me.", I admitted activating my duel disk as the tears started to brim the corners of my violet hues. 

"I accept the challenge but I'll give you a couple of minutes to compose yourself.", Dennis smiled sympathetically as he walked away to give my space.

"I-I don't need you're sympathy!", I growled as I turned at looked out at the ocean again.

This was my final ballad, this is my end! It's too late to ever get (Y/n) back!

(Y/n's pov)
During my break I sat with my friends and explained that memories had returned, everyone was so excited and some even started to cry with joy. Kuro called me to the kitchen and handed me the phone.

"Hello Oishī Bak-"

"(Y/n)! Yuri has fallen into mass depression and he's going to duel me but if he loses he's gonna let himself be eaten by the waves! You have to come talk to him before that happens!", Dennis freaked as he yelled into the phone.

Suddenly a sharp burning pain took over my left hand so I dropped the phone as I clutched my hand. My scar had turned a violet color and it seemed to spread the more I worried. I hung up the phone and ran to Kuro!

"Kuro I have to go! Yuri's in danger!", I cried as the marking got bigger.

"But the Bak-"

"Serena and I will stay here and help! (Y/n) you go on ahead and save that idiot.", Sora snickered as he pulled his hair into a ponytail and washed his hands.

"When you see Yuri slap him for me.", Serena smiled as she headed to the kitchen.

"Kuro I have to save him this is because of me. I have to make things right.", I pleaded.

"Why does it always have to be him!", Kuro frowned.

"Because he's the first and last guy that I'll ever love.", I smiled.

I rushed out of the bakery and headed to the location that Dennis had sent me. Yuri please wait for me.
