The arena was filled with dust. The contestants were fighting against each other. Orion and Linda were fighting against each other while Astrid, Xenon, and Indigo were fighting against other opponents

Orion had strike and clashed his dual splitter against Linda's Holographic. Linda, still standing, blocked the attack and switched to an upper cut move.

(Well, I was very ill as I was writing thing part, so I had to skip a very good fight. I promise I'll do better the next time)

The two siblings were very tired and kept standing.

Orion:
*huff* Heh... this is getting interesting.

Linda wipes the dust off her face.

Linda:
We should get things over with.

Linda and Orion charged in at each other, however, Linda tried to strike Orion, but Orion moved to the side and striked her in the back. Linda fell to the ground and was knocked out.

MC:
Ooooh... Linda has taken the final hit, meaning Orion's team has won the tournament!

The crowd cheers for the victors. After a while, they were awarded their crown and the tournament ended.

Astrid:
Another win for the dream team!

Astrid was cracking her fists while Xenon was carrying the trophy. As the group walked back home, Linda got their attention.

Linda:
Yo.

Linda walks up to them.

Linda:
Congrats on the win bro.

Orion:
Thank you, but you're here because of something else, am I correct?

Orion had read Linda's mind as Linda swayyed her hair.

Linda:
Wow, correct. You deserve points for that.

Orion:
So what do you want?

Linda:
I'll answer you. The General wants you two.

Astrid:
The general? Why?

Linda:
Because you two... did something.

Indigo:
I think our battle gained us an audience, dontcha think so~

Astrid:

Linda:

Astrid:

Xenon and Orion waved goodbye before leaving.

Linda:

Astrid and Indigo followed Linda to the Nexus Tower.

When they arrived at the Nexus Tower, they took the elevator to the 36th floor, which was the General's headquarters.

Apollo:
Three days ago, there were reports of a fight in Nebula Springs. The fight consisted of two people. Someone in a cybernetic amor, and a "guy wearing glasses who is in a purple jacket."

Apollo:
Two descriptions fit you two.

Astrid:
That's right?

Apollo:
There were reports of a minor earthquake during a fight, the earthquake luckily did not hurt anyone in Nightfall Village. However, your actions have terrified the residents. May I ask why did you two do this?

Astrid:
Indigo has something that belonged to me, and he wouldn't hand it over. So, I had to get physical.

Indigo:
And I had defended myself because of her aggressiveness.

Apollo:
Seeing how you two encountered, I can assume that nobody was badly hurt. However, there is another concern I need to address, and it is about you, Indigo.

Indigo:

Apollo:
Our experts have seen that your energy output is beyond any other electric types other than me. And that energy also has... corrupted power.

Indigo gulped as he realizes that his own curse could possibly create suspicion amongst others. So he had to clear up any misunderstandings.

Indigo:

Apollo:

If I'm correct, your curse enhances your abilites?

Indigo:
Yes, that also explains the amount of unsanitary dark energy that I have.

Astrid:

Apollo:
Though, I'll have to take your word for it, Indigo. My apollogies for the misunderstanding I may have created. I was originally pondering over if you were allies of Erodus.

Indigo:
It make sense.

Apollo:
Very well then, Astrid and Indigo, please avoid picking fights close to villages.

Astrid:
Fine.

Apollo:
Anyways, with that out of the way. There is something I require your cooperation. This involves the other mercenaries, Xenon and Orion involved. And Indigo.

Indigo:
Oh. What is it?

Apollo:
As I mentioned earlier about Erodus, He's an ancient warrior who recently returned from the dead and has seeked revenge. He is waging war against the nation.

Astrid:
If he returned from the dead, someone must've revived him.

Apollo:
I do not know. But it is confirmed that someone used " Forbbiden magic" to resurrect him. However, we have more important matters to attend to.

Apollo:
Astrid and Indigo, I'll need you along with Xenon and Orion to access the digital realm to look for a specific artifact. The artifact is called the dreamweaver core. Its a tool used to provide more energy to machines and its a very powerful source of energy. I need you two to get it.

Astrid:
You have our word. Come on Indigo. We gotta pay a visit to our friend.

Indigo:
Okay?

Apollo:
Are you referring to Mars? You might find her in her workshop.

Astrid:
Alright, Later General.

Astrid and Indigo exit the room and took the elevator to the workshop floor. The elevator whirred and moved down. It shook a little before it arrived at their destination. They moved out of the elevator and saw the large workshop space. The workshop had tables on the side and a large platform in the center. the room was filled with robots and drones performing tasks.

Indigo:
This place does not look like a workshop, it looks like a whole factory.

Astrid:
That's what I thought too.

As they walked forward. They reached to a small part of the workshop where a girl in red hoodie is sleeping.

Astrid:
Hey Sleepyhead. Wake up.

???:
Five more minutes... zzzz..

Astrid uses a small jolt of electricity to wake the girl up. The girl whine as she was forced to wake up.

???:
Fine.

The girls stretches her body before getting up.

Astrid:
That's my friend, Mars.

The three exited the building to go to a ramen shop. The same place Astrid and Indigo went to with Xenon and Orion.

Indigo:

Mars:

Fiona:
The usual Astrid?

Astrid:

Fiona:

Astrid grabs Indigo's Jacket and dragged him to the store.

Astrid came to a halt, which caused Indigo to crash into a concrete wall. Astrid didn't pay attention to Indigo being on the wall. Instead, she walked in the store.

Astrid was looking for the screw, meanwhile Indigo walked in.

Indigo:
Was it really necessary to send me flying to the concrete wall?

Astrid:

Indigo had to think for a moment and decided to shop later as he had important things to do.

Indigo did some small jumps before running off back to the mercenary base. He exited the city and was now entering the wilds. After a while, he returned to the base. He entered inside, to a familiar feel of when he first was inside the base.

Ah... I'm back!

Indigo walked in to see Orion leaning back on a chair, listening to his music.

Orion:

Orion!

Orion:

Orion:
Oh, it's you. What's up?

Indigo:
Well, we have some work to do. The General is requesting our services. And he wants us. Including Astrid and Xenon.

Orion:
Oh. Tell me the details.

Indigo:

After telling Orion about what they were tasked to do.

So the General wants us to enter the digital realm to get the Dreamweaver Core.

Indigo:
Yeah. We went to go see this girl named "Mars" and she made something for us.

Astrid hands the USB drive to Orion. He took it and went on over to the main computer room. He went on the computer and inserted the USB drive. Once it was inserted, data came running into the main computer. Orion began analyzing the data and activated a ray gun.

Xenon:
What's going on?

Orion:
I got the device ready. You three will have to get ready.

Xenon:
What are we looking for?

Astrid:
Dreamweaver Core.

Xenon:
Okay, lets get ready.

Xenon and Astrid went to the armory to get prepared. Astrid got her cybernetic fox mask ready. Xenon was getting his suit updated while he was getting his gauntlets ready. After that, Xenon put his mask on and was ready.

Xenon:
We're ready to go.

Indigo:
Yeah!

Orion walked up to them, carrying a ring.

Orion:
Here, this is how I'll be able to talk to you guys. I've embedded a speaker in Astrid and Xenon's suits.

Indigo:
Thanks.

Orion:
Alright, Preparing transport.

A large ray machine transported into a digital realm.

This place is like a labyrinth. There are some monsters around.

Astrid:

Astrid:

Enough you two, lets get a move on.

They started moving as they were now walking in each step by the game.

Astrid:
Where are we supposed to look anyways?

Orion:

Orion started typing on the computer to do a full area scan. The results came back.

Orion:
Alright, I'm going to show the results in your screens.

The Data came up to Xenon and Astrid's masks. while the info was in Indigo's glasses.

Orion:
I'm not detecting any signs but There is a powerful enemy guarding the stairs to the next floor.

Xenon:
So we'll just fight our way through.

Astrid:
Lets take it down.

Orion:
Yeah, and uh... make sure you have a strategy-

Astrid and Indigo ran towards the enemy.

Orion:

Xenon:

They approached the large enemy.

Astrid:

While you guys were battling, I checked the 2nd floor and there is nothing there.

Orion opened up a portal for the trio to go through. They walked and entered the next place.

The game starts with Astrid standing in front of Indigo and Xenon.

Astrid:
This game looks like Super Mario Bros.

Indigo:
Finally you're getting smart.

Astrid:
One. More. Time.

Indigo:
Come on, don't slow us down!

Astrid strikes Indigo. Indigo was launched and fell the ground.

Indigo:
Yeowch!

Indigo respawns  in a bubble.

Xenon:
*sigh* can you not hate on each other for ONE day.

Xenon was annoyed before he started moving.

Astrid:
You got what you deserved.

Indigo ignored Astrid and walked forward through the level.

After a short while, they came across a ? block.

Indigo:
Yo, Xenon. Hit that block.

Xenon:
Okay.

Xenon jumps with his fist hitting the block. the ? block popped out a brown leaf with eyes, falling down like any ordinary leaf

Xenon:
It's just a leaf...

The leaf landed on Indigo and gave him a powerup.

Indigo:
You were saying.

Xenon:
...

Xenon continued walking.

Indigo:
Haha.

Indigo and Astrid caught up to Xenon and continued walking through the level. With Indigo's powerup, he was able to fly by using his tanooki tail as a propellor.

Astrid:
PFftt hahahahahahah! You look like a helicopter.

Indigo:
Shut up.

Xenon:
Speaking of which, couldn't we fly? It'll be faster.

Astrid:
Yeah!

Xenon and Astrid had activated their jet engines and rose to the air while Indigo used the tanooki powerup to fly. They flew through the level until they reach the flagpole

Astrid:
I'm going to land on the pole!

Astrid hits the pole, then Xenon, and finally Indigo. They slid down and did a victory pose before entering the castle. The level was over and they teleported to the next game.

Stage 1: Bullet Station

Mission: Invade the Station

Team Neon

a tunnel explodes with The trio grinding on each rail down to its destination.

Astrid:
I feel like we're getting close to the core.

Xenon:
Stay on guard guys, they're lots of enemies near by!

The rails ended with Astrid and Xenon following Indigo. Indigo was in charge of the main speed. As they went thorugh, They reached a narrow path with walls.

Astrid:
With Indigo as leader, use Homing attack to approach a wall. Press the A button to perform Triangle Jump.

Indigo jumped from one wall to another in a zig zag pattern. He hit a ballon and the triangle jump ended. They continued on until the capsules broke.

Xenon:
I'll take over.

Xenon was the leader. He carried Astrid and Indigo with both of his hands, while Indigo and Astrid were curled up in a ball. Xenon used Them to break the capsules, freeing them. He destroyed some badniks that were in his way.

The leader switched back to Indigo. Who was in charge of speed. After a bit, Team Neon arrived inside the bullet cannon

Xenon:
This must be the giant cannon's internal mechanism we saw before!

Astrid:
Lets try firing that thing!

Indigo:
Astrid, NO!

Team Neon hopped inside the cannon. the cannon rotated and shoot them through the canyon. They hit a few bullets.

Astrid:
Level up!

The next balloon had Indigo's speed orb.

Indigo:
Level up!

And finally, Xenon's power orb was last.

Xenon:
Level up!

The team finally landed at a platform with a checkpoint, the team switched with Xenon as leader.

Xenon:
Level up!

The leader switched back to Indigo so that he can speed up.

After a while, the team reached a bobsled, they hopped on and started moving.

Indigo:
Each time the bobsled takes damage, one of us falls off. If I'm hit, the bobsled's speed decreases. If Astrid falls off, the bobsled won't jump.

The bobsled jumped over lasers and moved along the path.

Xenon:
We're gonna crash!

The bobsled went down a secret path and continued on through the capsules and robots.

Astrid:
Useless scraps of metal.

Indigo:
RUN THROUGH THEM ALL!

The bobsled ended and they took a rail.

Xenon:
When grinding on the rail, press the B button to accelerate and the control stick to balance. If you're at a three lane rail, move the control stick and press the A button to change lanes.

The rails led them to a platform with robots ambushing them. The Team Blast meter was full, so they activated it. Xenon slows down time by slamming the ground with his gauntlets. Indigo and Astrid raised their hands in the sky to make continuous thunderstrikes around. The after effect of the team blast made time slower but only Team Neon were normal.

After another while, they came across a path to the roof which required Astrid to fly them upwards. Astrid was in charge of flying the team.

Indigo:
Hey Astrid, why don't you be useful and use thunder shoot to throw us at the enemies?

Astrid throws Indigo and Xenon at the flying enemies

The leader changed to Xenon as he was needed to break the fence. He jumped and broke the fence down that led them into the cannon interior and got inside the cannon, and then the cannon shoot them through the canyon.

Indigo:
I can see the base ahead!

Astrid:
Woohoo!

Xenon:
My head's spinning

After a while, they hit the base which exploded. They landed on the ground and headed towards the goal ring. As they hit the ring, they made their victory pose by having Indigo do a short breakdance while Astrid and Xenon land on the ground and removed their helmets. And then they looked at the screen to do a pose.

Astrid:
Not bad.

Indigo:
Ow... sorry!

Xenon:
Focus guys.

They start running with Indigo as the leader, spiraling down a tower. After that, they hit a ramp which launches them towards the next place. The next path was blocked by a wall that had a crack in it.

The party leader switched to Xenon as he was needed to break the wall. The wall broke which revealed a switch. Xenon hit the switch and the gate on the floor opened. The tem went in the hole which led them to a floating orb. They hit it and the world around them flipped upside down.

Xenon:
Huh???

Indigo:
Everything's flipped upside down!

Astrid:
Whatever.

They continued down the path until they came across a line of rings.

Astrid:
When there's a line of rings close to each other, use the B button as Indigo to do a light speed dash.

Indigo does a lightspeed dash among the rings that took him to another castle

The line of rings ended with an enemy ambush. The party leader switched to Astrid.

Astrid uses thunder shoot to hit the enemies by throwing Indigo and Xenon around. After a while, the robots was defeated and a gate opened up, showing the orb.

Team Neon touched the orb and everything flipped back to normal.

Indigo:
Whew, Everything's back to normal.

Astrid:
That was enough crazy for one day.

They continued down the path until they saw that the path ended. Except only for a row of flames.

Xenon:
Maybe if we follow the flames, We could get across the gap.

Since the team didn't want to go too fast, they made Astrid the leader so that she can lift them from falling. They got through the invisible path and the leader switched to Indigo. Indigo ran fast around loops and turns. And then Team Neon arrived at the statue of eggman

Xenon:
Wow, that must've taken a long time to build that statue!

Astrid:
Hey, there the target switch, let me throw you Indigo!

The leader switches to Astrid, she threw Indigo at the switch and Indigo came back. The switch lowered the cage to the gravity orb. Astrid moved to the orb and everything flipped upside down. Astrid then threw Indigo at the last target switch. The target switch activated, causing a pole to extend.

Xenon:
Indigo can use the pole by doing a homing attack on it.

Indigo does a homing attack on the pole. The wind made him twirl upwards along the pole with Astrid and Xenon holding on to Indigo.

Indigo jumped from one pole to another until he landed in the center of the statue. He moved forward. He activated a switch that made a line of rings appeared. Indigo used the light speed dash to follow the rings towards the next location. The rings ended and he lands on a grind rail that takes him down a small corridor before jumping out of a window. When he did, he was running down (or up) the tower and jumped over every bump. Finally, he hit a ramp which led him to the goal ring.

Indigo:
*yawn* are we done?

Good.

Stage 03: Final Fortress

Mission: Break through the fortress.

The stage starts with Team Neon being laucnhed by a ramp.

Astrid:
The final strech, lets go guys!

Xenon:
I'll smash through anyone who gets in our paths!

Indigo:
Yeah!

They laanded on a rail which took them deeper into the fortress. The rail did a loop before ending on a platform with a few robots. Indigo does a homing attack on the robots. He then gets a speed orb from defeating one of the enemies.

Indigo:
Level up!

They come across a narrow wall. Indigo was needed for that part. He does a triangle jump, jumping from one wall to another in a zigzag line. He hit a balloon which gave him 20 rings and lands on the rail. After a while, they reached a checkpoint but switched to Astrid to get it.

Astrid:
Level Up!

They continued on before their paths were blocked by a super-robot.

Astrid:
This robot is strong, be careful guys!

Team Neon used their team blast to swifty destroy the robot. The aftereffects of the team blast made time move slower. Team Neon continued on. A few moments later, they jump on a pressure plate. When they all stood on the pressure pad, the pad exploded, launching Team Neon in the air.

Xenon:
Good thing we got out in time.

Astrid:
Was this a bomb?

Indigo:
We should be careful!

The trio landed on a rail with 3 lanes. They were both going down the same direction. Somehow, one of the rails had electrical markers meaning that a laser was going to be fired.

Astrid:
Watch out for the lasers!

Indigo moved to the right lane to avoid the lasers. The rail takes a loop to get them out of range. The rail ended. Indigo jumps to a rail that goes in a circle. He jumps off to a platform with a switch. Indigo touches it and a pole extends. Indigo then uses the rail to get to the pole that was extending. Indigo spins around the pole with his team. and jumped to the next pole to swing around. He continues until he got to the last set of rails. This time all the lasers were firing at the rails.

Xenon:
One, two... four lasers?

Astrid:
Nothing like a challenge!

Indigo:
Hell yeah!

Indigo keeps moving left until he got to the last rail. Ahead, an eggman-faced building was charging up a laser. Luckily, the team had got out of range in time before the laser was fired. They landed on a small platform.

Indigo hit the bounce bumpers and jumped on the pressure pad, Xenon and Astrid also jumped in. When everyone was on it, the eggman-shaped building exploded. Team Neon was launched in the air for a while before landing on the destroyed spot. When they landed, they reached the goal ring.

Astrid:
Hardly even a challenge!
