Three Nights Later

Lucy's P.O.V

A grunt went through my body when we heard the alarm. I turned around, afraid to wake up. I'd have to get up for class and the idea of doing the math midterm would make me want to cry. My blanket was yanked off of me before I could open my eyes.

Three Hours Later

"Pencils down, we have now completed the math midterms." The class sighed in exhaustion. I turned around and glared at Ruki. I finished early but I was not happy. I couldn't sleep and had nothing else to do. " What is it, Koko?"

"Masochist," I said with a blush and left the room. It was really nice to have a break after midterms. I might just get us something from the vending machine.

"Lucy-chan" I smiled.

"Kou-kun"

"Are you going to the vending machines?" I nodded. "Mind if I come with you?"

"Sure"

Ruki's P.O.V

"Lucy and you finished at the same time. That's not surprising." I looked up to see the solemn man.

"We have done that for almost the whole week."

"I know"

"Is there something you are wondering?"

"You're relationship with her." That was right. Only Ayato, Yuma, Azusa, and Kou knew the truth. The rest didn't know yet.

"We are close is all."

"You two are not dating?" I arched a brow.

"Why are you asking?"

"I'm curious" Usually Reiji ignored these types of situations but now it's all he cared about.

"Is someone else interested in her?"

"Who isn't?"

"You might want to include yourself as well."

"Myself?"

"You love her right?"

School Garden

Lucy's P.O.V

"Lucy-chan, are you single?" I blushed at Kou's question. Why did he ask me this? I looked away from him and at the vending machine. "Is that a yes?" Why is my face heating up more? "You're redder than a strawberry, Lucy-chan."

"I'm single"

"Then do you wanna go on a date?"

"Single?" I looked at the man. "You left and didn't come back." 

"Ruki"

"Ruki-kun~ Lucy-chan was telling me that she is single." My eyes widened. 

"Kou-kun-"

"So I was wondering if I could take her on a date."

"Huh?" We said in union.

"I wanted to take Lucy-chan on a date. If she is single and doesn't mind, why not?"

"Because she has a date with me that day." I couldn't blush anymore. My face was completely red at this point. 

"But I didn't even tell you the day we would possibly have the date."

"That didn't mean anything." Ruki and I had a date? I didn't expect it. Was he saying this so I wouldn't go on a date with Kou or did he want to go on a date with me?
