Two Days Later

Lucy's P.O.V

I didn't know why I did it but I started to work here again. The very place I counted the days until I left, I stayed. I looked at the sleeping man and placed another rag on his forehead. It was weird to see him this way. He gave me permission to see Cleo but I couldn't do that. Not until he was better. 

 I touched his cheek. "Ruki-kun" 

"Lucy, stay...with me." My cheeks darkened as I heard his words. 

"Huh?

"Lucy-chan?" I turned around to see Kou. 

"Kou-kun" 

"I got the groceries from the store that you wanted."

"Thank you so much." 

"Can we talk?" I looked at him and nodded. 

"Sure" I walked out of Ruki's room and inside the living room. Kou closed the door before he looked at me. 

"You know about Yui right?" I nodded.

"Yeah, from Kuni mostly." He shook his head. 

"That woman," He sat down. "So you know she is pregnant?" My eyes widened.

"Is it-"

"It's not but I am worried about you."

"Huh?"

"Ruki has become attached to you and the fact that Cleo has taken an interest in you again makes me worried." 

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Cleo was the one who ended his marriage but for you."

"How did you know that?"

"I have my sources." Nowadays it seems like everyone did.

"Is it credible?"

"His sister" My eyes widened. 

"How did you-"

"She is a fan."

"A fan?" He chuckled.

"You haven't noticed yet but I am an idol." An idol! "Anyway, there is a chance he will make you stay away from him."

"But he gave me permission-"

"That doesn't mean anything. You confessed to him right?" I slowly nodded. 

"Yes, but it was a mis-"

"He didn't push you away after. If anything he kept you near him. Why else would he do that?"

"I was his mai-"

"It because he likes you as well." I felt my cheeks heat up. 

"Huh?" He stood up and walked out the door. I followed him. "Kou-kun how do you know that?!?" He chuckled at me and turned around.

"I have my sources."
