The Next Day

Lucy's P.O.V

Ever since yesterday Ruki hasn't left me. He repeatedly checked my temperature and with each sigh, a groan of annoyance, or bounce of his head when he temporarily dozed off, I felt worse. He hired me as his servant so why was he doing so much for me, especially when it wasn't his fault. 

I knew I did not have any energy and yet I forced myself to have Plue out. My door opened and in came Ruki who appeared emotionless which was normal but his eyes, read anger. Not just ordinary anger but pissed off. He set a bag down on my nightstand before he looked at me. "Get dressed" My eyes widened.

"Master"

"I do not want to hear any objections, you have an hour and if you are not ready by then I will make sure you are." His words sounded harsh. He was angry and yet I didn't know why. I forced myself to stand but before he could leave I stopped him.

"Master is there something wrong?"

"You are not following my orders." He turned around and looked at me. "I guess I have no choice but to do what I said."

An Hour Later

As we walked to the location Ruki wanted to go to I couldn't help but blush. It was one thing to order me but to style me as well wasn't any better.  Where was he taking us anyway? I looked at him to see that he appeared to be blocking out his emotions again.

 I couldn't help but wonder if he saw his wife again. "Master" He stopped and looked at me. "In public I want you to call me Ruki-kun."

"Ruki-kun?" He nodded.

"It is your duty and before we go inside to where we are going to, I want you to remember that you are to follow my orders, even if you are uncomfortable with them." What was he planning on doing and why did it involve the possibility of me feeling strange? "If you do anything to throw off Yui-"

"Ruki-kun?" We looked in the direction of the voice to see his wife along with a tall and pale pink haired man who had a similar built to Ruki. His eyes were like the sun and staring in them felt like staring into it as well. It was harsh but if you stared at it long enough you could see it's beauty. "And you must be Lucy-san?" The woman said causing me to look at her. Just like the picture she had been beautiful and the emotions she gave off had been so comforting. No wonder Ruki loved her. She was perfect. Just remembering what Ruki said, it appeared that he was offered to go out with the two but to bring me along makes me feel that he didn't want to be alone. He was hurt. "Lucy-san?" 

 If I heard right the woman's name was Yui. I remember that Kuni told me a lot about how amazing she was. How life was different for the two and how she and Yui talked about Yui possibly having a baby soon. I got out of my frozen state and nodded.

"And you must be Yui-san? I love your outfit, you really have to show me where to buy something so cute." She blushed before she giggled.

"Thank you but your dress is cute too. If anything I would like to learn where I can buy something like that." I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you Yui-chan."

"No, thank you Lu-chan."

"No thank-"

"You knew each other for only a minute and sound like great friends," Ruki said causing us to look at him. The pink haired man chuckled.

"I hate to admit it but he is right." He looked at me. "I am Tsukinami, Shin."

"I am Heartfilia, Lucy, Ruki-Kun's-"

"Girlfriend" I felt my cheeks heat up. Was this why he said that I couldn't deny what he said. It was wrong to lie though wasn't it. "For about a month now right?" He asked as he looked at me causing me to nodd. 

"Yeah"
