The group of ten walked through the forest on their way to Inferno's lair. When they were halfway there, the sun began to set as they decided to rest for the night in a small cave.

The next morning, they continued on their way.

When they were right outside of the lair, Mewtwo felt their presence and went to warn Inferno.

"Those pathetic little nuisances are back, Master. What should we do?" Mewtwo asked.

"Make sure everyone is ready. We finish this today. Those pathetic children won't stand a chance against us. They are obviously outnumbered." Inferno replied.

Mewtwo nodded as he left Inferno's room and went to check to see if the rest of the team was ready. He went into the training room.

"Abrafo, Sigmund, Darkrai, Pikachu villagers!! The children have arrived!! It is time for our ultimate battle!!" He told them.

"We have prepared for this moment for a long time. We are ready." One of the Pikachu responded in determination.

"Good." Mewtwo stated.

The group of ten were still waiting outside of the cave.

"What's the plan?" Chase asked.

"Hm..." they thought about it for a moment until Dusk got an idea.

"Lightning and I should fight Inferno and Abrafo. Amethyst and Shade should look for Sigmund and get him to release the villagers, Mewtwo and Darkrai. While Mew and Zapdos fight against Mewtwo and Darkrai and Electra, Chase, Sparks and Thunder keep the Pikachu villagers busy until Amethyst and Shade defeat Sigmund." Dusk explained.

The rest of the group nodded in understanding. "We still must be extremely careful. This fight might be the most difficult one we will have. We must watch over each other's backs." Lightning replied.

"Right!" The others agreed.

"So...Are we ready?" Amethyst asked.

"I hope so. We must do this... for the sake of the Pikachu villagers." Thunder answered.

"Alright... Then let's go!" Lightning replied.

Suddenly they heard a voice echo from within the cave. "How brash of you to return back here to face us. You should have just given up while you had the chance. You children must be completely brainless to think you can defeat us." Mewtwo said.

The group of Pokémon trembled from hearing Mewtwo's voice. Thunder stepped closer towards the cave with determination in his expression. He may have been afraid but it was difficult to tell. He stood up on a rock in front of the cave and spoke up. "We will never give up. I am the leader of the Pikachu Village and my responsibility is to protect them and I will not be hesitant to do just that!" He announced.

"Hm... Very well then. I suppose you will die trying. Enter if you dare!!" Mewtwo responded.

Thunder nodded as he jumped off of the rock and gestured the others to follow him into the cave.

When they were in the cave, they saw Inferno, Abrafo, Mewtwo and Darkrai glaring at them at the entrance.

Lightning and Dusk glared back at them. Lightning's electric sacs sparked to life as she gritted her teeth in anger.

Mewtwo broke the silence as he grunted in amusement. "I see you have recruited Mew and Zapdos. Maybe you're not as dumb as we thought, but we still won't be easy on you. We will still persevere and we will win!" Mewtwo said.

"We'll see about that. You took my friends and family away from me and are using them against us. We will not give up so easily!!" Lightning growled in anger.

Dusk was surprised from hearing Lightning respond to Mewtwo with so much confidence in her angelic voice. He took a deep breath before finding his own voice. "We won't hold back!"

As they were talking, Amethyst, Shade, Thunder, Electra, Chase and Sparks took it as an opportunity to sneak past them. Amethyst and Shade went to look for Sigmund as Thunder, Electra, Chase and Sparks went to find the Pikachu Villagers.

Mew flew around in a circle as if to taunt Mewtwo. Mewtwo growled in anger as he charged an Aura Sphere at Mew. Mew dodged the attack as it used its own Aura Sphere, hitting Mewtwo in the face. Mew giggled in amusement for landing a hit.

"Ugh... You will pay for that!!! There is not enough room for us both in this world. There can only be one of us and only the strongest will survive!!" Mewtwo growled. He used Psystrike but Mew easily dodged it.

Zapdos was busy fighting off Darkrai as he unleashed a Brave Bird Attack at him. Darkrai was struck by the attack and Zapdos was hurt by the recoil.

Darkrai used Dark Pulse But Zapdos easily flew up to dodge it and swooped back down at Darkrai.

Darkrai used Dark Pulse again but Zapdos avoided the attack again and used Thunderbolt.

Darkrai was struck by the bolt of electricity but still held his ground.

Lightning and Dusk used their signature power move—Electro Shadow Ball— to hit Inferno and Abrafo, hitting them both.

Abrafo ran towards Dusk and tried to hit him with Mach Punch but Dusk ducked and used Iron Tail to trip him.

Abrafo fell to the ground face first. He rubbed his now aching face as he got back up and glared at Dusk enraged.

Lightning used Thunderbolt on him as he was shocked by a large bolt of electricity. Paralysis kept him detained from fighting back as he was unable to move.

"Good job Lightning!" Dusk complimented.

"Thanks" she replied.

Inferno growled in anger. "Insolent pest!!!" He ran towards Lightning with Mach Punch but she used Iron Tail to counter it.

Inferno used Flamethrower as Lightning ran to the side to dodge it, however her tail was grazed by the flames. She winced in pain when she saw that the tip of her tail was burnt. She turned to Inferno and gritted her teeth in anger. She ran towards him and used Electro Ball, hitting him in the side.

Dusk ran by her side. "Are you alright, Lightning?" He asked.

"I'm fine..." she muttered.

Dusk used Shadow Ball and Lightning used Iron Tail to bat it at Inferno. He was hit by the attack as a Critical Hit but he was still standing.

He ran towards them with Blazing Kick as both Lightning and Dusk were sent flying into the cave wall; the air knocked out of them from the hit.

They slowly got back up to their paws to see Inferno running towards them with Mach Punch. Dusk countered it with his own Iron Tail as they both gave each other death glares.

Amethyst, Shade, Thunder, Electra, Chase and Sparks were still walking deeper in the cave to find the Pikachu Villagers and Sigmund.

After a few moments, Thunder, Electra, Chase and Sparks's electric sacs started sparking electricity. They knew that that meant an electric type was nearby.

When they walked a few minutes longer, they found out why. All of the Pikachu villagers blocked their way as their cheeks lit up in sparks. They were ready for battle.

"You two keep looking for Sigmund. We'll keep the Villagers busy while you run for it." Thunder ordered.

Amethyst and Shade nodded in understanding as they remembered the plan. Shade used Protect and used it as a shield to push past the large group of Pikachu.

Both Shade and Amethyst kept running through the cave until they reached Sigmund's room.

"Hmm... I see you managed to get past the Pikachu Villagers who were guarding my room." Sigmund told them.

"Precisely. It wasn't that difficult to manage." Amethyst responded.

"Of course it wouldn't be... to two over-confident young Pokémon!!" Sigmund stated. "I suppose this means we must battle."

"As was anticipated. You are controlling Mewtwo, Darkrai and the Pikachu Villagers. We must do whatever it takes in order to give them their freedom back." Amethyst replied in determination. She went into a battle stance as her gem glowed. She used Psybeam.

Sigmund dodged it and used Focus Blast at Amethyst, however she used Psybeam to counter it.

Shade used Dark Pulse—while Sigmund was focusing on Amethyst— in order to get a hit on him.

The Dark Type move did a lot on Sigmund but he was still standing.

Amethyst used Psychic as Sigmund was picked up off the ground as he was now incapacitated and unable to move as Shade used Night Shade on him.

"Nyyghh...." Sigmund yelled as he tried to escape the Psychic but Amethyst kept him contained.

Shade used another Night Shade on Sigmund, weakening him even more.

Amethyst then felt her Psychic power weakening by every second as she was about to lose her grip on Sigmund. She slammed him to the ground before throwing him against the wall.

Thunder, Electra, Chase and Sparks were busy using Iron Tail on the Pikachu Villagers to keep them back. The group of four were starting to get exhausted as they were losing their strength after every passing minute that went by.

"We... Can't... Keep...This up... Forever..." Electra panted.

"We must... Keep them back... long enough... For Amethyst... And Shade to... defeat Sigmund..." Sparks responded, breathlessly.

"They better hurry.... Before we... collapse... from exhaustion..." Chase whined.

"Come on... We can still continue... just a little longer... They must be close to defeating... Sigmund by now..." Thunder told them.

Suddenly, Chase saw a glimpse of a large rope laying on the ground on the other side of the Pikachus.

"Hey guys... There's a rope on the other side... Maybe we could... try to get it... and use it... to tie the villagers up..." he breathed as he pointed at the rope.

Thunder noticed the rope too. "Hmm... It may be a difficult task... But we have to try... You three keep the Villagers back... and... I will try... to retrieve the rope..." Thunder responded.

"Okay.." the Pikachus replied in unison as they did as they were told while Thunder pushed himself through the large crowd of Pikachus.

He managed to make it to the other side as he grabbed the rope. He used Volt Tackle and wrapped the rope around the Pikachus.

The Villagers struggled to escape their bindings but were unable to.

Thunder sighed in relief. "There... Now... all we have to do... is make sure... they don't escape the ropes..."

Electra, Chase and Sparks collapse in exhaustion.

"Ugh... I can't.. feel my tail..." Chase complained as his tail was numb from all the Iron Tails.

Suddenly, one of the tied up Pikachu bit his tail as he yelped in surprise. It caused him to accidentally use a Thunderbolt on Sparks who was laying beside him.

Chase received an angry glare from his older brother as Sparks slapped him across the face, knocking him out cold.

As for the quad battle, Lightning and Dusk were still fighting Inferno and Abrafo as they both attacked them with a large Electro Shadow Ball Attack. Inferno and Abrafo were both hit by the attack as they collapsed to the ground, struggling to get back up.

Lightning turned to see Mew was still fighting against Mewtwo and on the other side Darkrai and Zapdos were still countering each other's attack as neither seemed to want to give up.

Mewtwo used Psystrike as Mew surrounded itself in a Bubble to protect itself from the attack. When the attack hit the bubble, it popped upon impact.

Mew became invisible and reappeared behind Mewtwo and used Focus Blast. Mewtwo's back was grazed by the attack as he yelled in pain from the super-Effective fighting type move. He turned to face Mew enraged as he used Aura Sphere.

Mew easily flew to the side to dodge it and used Ice Beam at Mewtwo's side, covering it in ice. Mewtwo shook the ice off as he used Psychic.

He held Mew in place as it struggled to get free. Mewtwo tightened his grip on Mew as it struggled to breath. Then Mewtwo threw Mew to the ground. It tried to get back up. When it was able to bring itself up, Mewtwo tried to hit it with another Aura Sphere as it hit Mew, making it flip over in the air.

Mew managed to get back in control as it was now dizzy.

Lightning then heard Inferno and Abrafo groan as they slowly got back up to their feet. "You'll pay for that!!" Inferno growled.

Dusk ran towards Inferno with Iron Tail. However, he dodged the attack and hit Dusk in the side with Poison Jab.

Dusk fell to the floor as he tried to push himself back up.

Lightning gasped when she noticed that Dusk got hit. "Dusk!!" She shouted in alarm. She glared at Inferno as she ran towards Inferno with Quick Attack. She charged up an Electro Ball when she was only a few feet away from him.

Inferno watched her closely. When she was close to hitting him, he kicked her in the face with Blazing Kick as she was taken in the air and hit the wall. She collapsed to the ground, knocked out from the blow. She had a large burnt bruise on her forehead from where the attack hit her the hardest.

Dusk winced in pain from the Poison Jab that hit his side. "Ow..." he groaned. He turned to see Lightning was on the ground knocked out.  "Lightning!!!" Dusk shouted as he rushed towards her. He nudged her softly as she stirred. She slowly opened her eyes groggily as Dusk sat by her side. "Lightning, are you alright?" He asked as he helped her up.

"Ugh... ow... my head..." She moaned as she rubbed her aching forehead. When she touched the bruise, she flinched.  "Ugh... w-what happened? Where am I?" She asked.

She looked up to see Dusk in front of her. "Who are you?"

"Wha- Lightning, it's me, Dusk. Do you remember me?" He asked.

"No... I don't remember you. I don't remember knowing an Eevee named Dusk." She answered.

Dusk's ears went flat from hearing her words which hurt his heart. "No..." he shook his head in denial.

From hearing this, Abrafo smirked mischievously. "This is finally my chance..." he said to himself as he ran towards Dusk and knocked him aside. He took Lightning's paw.

"Don't listen to him Lightning. You are my lovely Pikachu. You're mine. Come with me and I'll keep you safe." Abrafo told her.

"Huh...? I-I don't know you either. From what I know, I don't belong to anyone. Let me go!" Lightning replied struggling to get her paw free.

"No... You don't understand. You belong with us. You deserve more than what that pathetic Eevee will give you. I will protect you more than that Eevee can. I can give you far more than anyone." Abrafo replied, still holding on to her paw as he pulled her away from Dusk.

Lightning's expression still looked unsure as she looked at Dusk and back at Abrafo.

Dusk got back up to his feet and he saw that Lightning was being dragged away from him. "Lightning... No... Don't listen to him.. He's trying to trick you!!Let her go, Abrafo. You will not take her away from me again!!" Dusk shouted. He tried to run to her but Inferno stepped in front of him to block his way.

"Get out of my way!! She doesn't belong to you!!" Dusk growled.

Inferno only laughed. "Mwa Ha Ha!! The way I see it, she doesn't remember you. Therefore she is ours for the taking. Don't worry she's in good hands. Better hands than she'll ever be with you!!"

Inferno grabbed Dusk by the scruff and threw him at the cave wall, knocking the air out of him.

"Ugh..." Dusk groaned, as he slowly got back up to his paws.

Dusk glared at Inferno as he ran towards him and released a Shadow Ball Attack at him.

Inferno countered it with Flamethrower.

Dusk continued running towards Inferno with an Iron Tail Attack as he slammed it down at his side.

Inferno fell on one knee as he growled. He turned to face Dusk who was behind him, charging another Shadow Ball Attack. He unleashed the Shadow Ball as it was three times the size of a normal one. The Shadow Ball struck its target as Inferno lost his balance and fell to the ground. He quickly pushed himself back up with one paw and used Flamethrower. Dusk used Quick Attack to run to the side of the Attack and struck Inferno in the side.

Inferno ran towards Dusk with Mach Punch, hitting him in the side of the face as it made him flinch.

Inferno used this as the opportunity to attack Dusk again with a Blaze Kick Attack as he was sent flying into the air again but he managed to land on his feet as he fired a Shadow Ball.

Inferno jumped in the air to dodge and went down on Dusk with Poison Jab but Dusk used Quick Attack to dodge it as Inferno hit where Dusk last stood.

Dusk leaped onto Inferno with a Bite Attack to the face. Inferno struggled to get him off of him as he flanked him in the side with Poison Jab. Dusk let go as he hit the ground hard.

He gritted his teeth as he tried to get back up to his paws but collapsed again.

"Face it!! You can't defeat me!! Just give up already!!" Inferno ordered.

"N-never!!" Dusk stuttered. "I-I will fight to the death if I have to... in order... to keep Lightning... safe..."

"Hmm... You really are a persistent pre-evolution... I'll give you that." Inferno grunted.

Inferno and Dusk continued to fight each other. None seemed to want to give up and let the other to succeed on winning.

As for Lightning, she was taken to Abrafo's room.

Abrafo kept ahold of Lightning's paw as he carefully caresses her cheek. "Ah... My sweet Pikachu! You will always be mine and only mine." He told her.

"Ugh... I-"

"Shh!!" Abrafo shushed her as he put a paw over her mouth to prevent her from speaking. "Don't say another word... I know we are meant to be with each other for all eternity..."

Lightning just rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Abrafo adjusted Lightning's pink bow before he began to dance around with her. He stared into her amber eyes as he then chuckled to himself. "You're eyes shine like a Shiny Pokémon..." he said. He kissed her on the cheek as he continued dancing around with her.

Lightning frowned as it seemed like she was being forced to dance with him. She didn't seem to be enjoying it at all.

Abrafo noticed her sad expression. "No no, don't be like that... You should be happy here..."

"I-I'm not sure..." she replied as she looked down to the floor. "This just doesn't seem right to me..."

Abrafo put a paw on her chin and pulled it up so she was looking at his eyes. "How can you not be sure that I am the perfect match for you? We are inseparable... Don't you think so?"

He didn't let her answer as he kissed her on the mouth. When he pulled back, Lightning looked back at him in surprise.

"Come on... we should rest. You must be tired." Abrafo retorted as he carried her to his bed. Although she didn't feel that tired, she still felt energized.

Amethyst and Shade were still fighting Sigmund. Amethyst used Psybeam as Shade used Night Shade. Sigmund dodged the Psybeam But was hit by the Night Shade. As he fell to the ground. Amethyst took this as the opportunity to use Psybeam again on him.

Amethyst jumped on top of Sigmund and glared at him, her gem glowing. "You let our friends and the legendaries you hypnotized free!!" Amethyst ordered.

"No can do!! I don't obey orders from you!!" Sigmund replied. He kicked his legs up to push her off him as he got back up. She landed on the ground on her back. She rolled over and got back on her paws. She turned to see Sigmund get back up as he smirked.

Shade glared at Sigmund. He ran towards Sigmund and he was focusing on using Toxic. However, Shade didn't notice a large rock in front of him as he tripped over it and fell on the ground. Poisonous sweat sprayed out of his pores and instead of hitting Sigmund, it hit Amethyst.

She collapsed to the ground with Poison coursing through her veins.

"Amethyst!! No!!" Shade gasped as he ran to her side.

He saw her weaken before him as the poison drained her energy at each passing moment.

Sigmund laughed as he attempted to use Hypnosis to try and take control of Amethyst once again. "You will obey me and do what I say!!" He ordered her. Amethyst's eyes turned into a dull purple again as she was now under Sigmund's control. She stood up as she stared at Sigmund waiting for an order.

"Get him!!!" Sigmund ordered, pointing at Shade.

"Yes Master!" Amethyst obeyed as she glared at the Umbreon beside her.

From seeing this, Shade backed up from her as his ears fell to the back of his head. His blood red eyes were wide with terror.

"A-Amethyst?! P-please don't do this... This isn't you... Don't listen to him... He's the enemy, not me." Shade told her but she didn't listen to him as she continued walking towards him.

"I-I don't want to hurt you... Please... I don't want to have to do this..." Shade said.

Amethyst still didn't listen to him as her gem glowed bright. She used Dazzling Gleam as Shade was blasted by a large burst of bright light, blinding him in the process.

When his vision returned, he only saw a blur of purple speed towards him as Amethyst tackled him to the ground and held him down on the ground. He struggled to get her off him.

Meanwhile, Thunder and the Pikachus were still watching the tied up Villagers.

"Ugh... What is taking so long for Amethyst and Shade to beat Sigmund." Chase groaned.

"It shouldn't be taking this long... maybe something bad happened to them..." Electra replied worriedly.

"Oh... I hope not..." Sparks said.

"We should go check on them then." Electra decided.

"Good idea! You and Sparks should go check on them while Chase and I stay here" Thunder responded.

"Yes sir. Come on Electra!" Sparks told her as they both headed to Sigmund's room.

When they made it to Sigmund's room, they gasped when they saw that Shade was being pinned down by Amethyst.

She turned around to see Electra and Sparks as she growled. "You two!!"

She shot a Psybeam at them while still standing on Shade.

Electra and Sparks dodged as the Psybeam went right between them.

"Oh no!! Not again!!" Electra said. "She's been hypnotized again!"

"We have to beat Sigmund... then everyone will be freed and they will be themselves again." Sparks reminded her.

"Right!" Electra nodded.

Sparks and Electra quickly ran past Amethyst towards Sigmund. "Hey!! Get back here!!" Amethyst shouted as she fired another Psybeam at them.

They both dodged it as they continued running towards Sigmund.

Shade closed his eyes tightly. "I'm sorry Amethyst..." he mumbled as he kicked her in the face. She gasped as she got off of Shade and backed up. He got back up to his paws and faced Amethyst. She rubbed the side of her face he kicked and she growled at him. "How dare you!!"

Shade backed up from her as she approached him. She gritted her teeth in anger. "Don't be a scaredy-Cat and fight Dark-Eon!!" She taunted.

"I'm an Umbreon!!" He offended. "And I'm not a Scaredy-Cat either!!"

Amethyst looked behind Shade to see the Pikachus running towards Sigmund.

"No!! Leave my Master alone, you rats!!" She shouted. She ran forward.

"Oh no... she's after Sparks and Electra... I can't let her reach them... I have to fight..." Shade thought. He went into a battle stance.

Shade used Dark Pulse and hit Amethyst. She shook it off as she continued running forward. Shade used another Dark Pulse at her feet as she lost her balance and fell.

She glared at Shade. "Don't interfere!!" She yelled. She used another Dazzling Gleam but Shade used Protect to protect himself from the attack.

Sparks turned to see what Shade was doing. Shade turned to see him standing there. "Keep going!! I'll hold her off!!"

Sparks nodded as he followed Electra.

Electra and Sparks ran closer to Sigmund as they both used Iron Tail on him and he was slapped across the face by the attacks.

Electra and Sparks then used Thunderbolt and struck him with two thunderbolts at the same time but Sigmund held on.

Sigmund glared at them as Electra and Sparks did the same.

"It's time to put an end to your crimes, Sigmund!" The Pikachus said.

"We shall see..." Sigmund replied.
