Everyone rushes through the forest back to where Sparkle was hidden. They ran as fast they could as Shade stayed beside Amethyst.

As soon as they reached the hideout, they were shocked upon what they saw. There was a pack of Meowths with their Persian leader trying to get a certain sleeping Pichu in a hole.

"Oh no!! Sparkle!! She's in trouble!!" Electra gasped.

"Crud, that's a handful of them, too" Dusk stated.

"Holy Miltank there is, what do we do?!" Lightning asked.

"We may be able to surround them from all sides and have ourselves appear as a larger group" Amethyst said.

"Ok we will try it, but what if they attack?" Lightning asked.

"Then we will show them we would be easily intimidated. One of our own are in danger" Thunder said.

"Thunder is right" Dusk said. "Lightning you can still use iron tail so you can block any attacks with it, Electra and I attack from the right side of the pack. Amethyst and Sparks will get the other side. Thunder and Shade will take the middle. Phoenix will cover us from above and Chase will stay hidden here in the bush."

"Okay, let's do this" Lightning replied.

Everyone nods and gets into position.Chase hid behind the bushes and Phoenix flew up in the sky without the Meowth Clan knowing and the rest of them surround the Clan in all directions.

"Argh, I can't reach it Darkstar, it's too far inside" one of the Meowth complained.

"Keep trying, Prince, I'm hungry" the Persian named Darkstar meowed. Darkstar looked around to see Lightning, Dusk, Sparks, Electra, Amethyst, Thunder and Shade with  Phoenix flying above them.

"Leave her alone!!!" Lightning snarled.

"Attack!!!" Darkstar growled, flicking his tail as a signal for the Meowths to go. Thunder unleashed Thunderbolt upon 2 Meowths as Dusk and Lightning beat a few more down with their iron tail.

"You can't use her as prey!!" Lightning yelled slapping a Meowth across the face with iron tail. The Meowth was sent flying back into a tree trunk, as he fainted from the impact.

"Let's see about that, mouse-brain" Prince mewed.

"Shut your Meowth" Lightning screamed, slapping him with iron tail.
"Ouch! Prince yowled. "You little runt!" Prince charged at her and scratched her.

"Ow..." Lightning winced in pain as she slapped Prince again with iron tail. You are a bad kitty!!!" She yelled.

Prince was sent flying into the dirt face first. He spits out the dirt that gathered into his mouth upon impact. He turned his head and growled at the Pikachu staring at him.

"Now leave!!!!" Lightning yelled breathing heavily.

"We're not going anywhere without our meal!" Prince retorted as he unsheathed his claws.

"Meal?! You aren't planning to eat her, are you?!" Lightning glared at him.

"And what if I am?" Prince cackled with a smug grin.

"Then we will fight you as long as it takes to keep you from using her as prey" Lightning replied.

"Well then we'll just have to deal with you first" Prince stated as he charged at her claws ready.

Lightning used quick attack to dodge his claws and swiped an iron tail at him from behind. The blow knocks Prince straight into the base of a tree face first.

"Now get out of here before we make you!" Lightning growled.

Prince struggled to his paws as he turned around. "Boss... help...!" He uttered.

Darkstar the Persian leader ran towards Lightning with a bite attack as she dodged him with quick attack. Darkstar quickly recovered and charged towards her.  He used nightslash and hit Lightning.

"Ahhh!!!" She screamed in agony.

"Lightning!" Dusk cried as Darkstar rushed at her with bite. He bit her nose and Lightning squealed in pain.

"Oh come on, Prince, she's not even trying" Darkstar hissed. "How come she hasn't used a single Thunderbolt?!"

Dusk growled at the Persian as he charged at him enraged. "Leave her alone!!!" He yelled charging at Darkstar with bite. He glanced over to see the Eevee unleashing a bite attack at him. Lightning watched the attack approach Darkstar. He quickly let go of Lightning's nose and jumped out of the way making the attack miss. Dusk ran up to Lightning as she got up to her paws. "Are you okay Lightning?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks" she answered.

Dusk smiled at her as Darkstar prepared another attack. He unleashed a Power Gem at them. Lightning managed to see a glance of it behind Dusk and gasped. "Look out!!" She cried.

They both dodged the attack as the Power Gem continued through the forest and hit a tree making it explode upon impact. Dusk and Lightning quickly recovered as they glare at the Persian. "Come on Dusk, let's take him down" Lightning said.

"I'm with you" Dusk replied as he ran towards him with Iron Tail. Lightning followed with her own Iron Tail at the now exhausted Persian unbeknownst to him. Darkstar looked up to see them run toward him. They were too fast for him to dodge as he was hit by the attack landing a critical hit. The blow sent him flying into the side of the tree where the hole was located that Sparkle was hidden in. He watched Sparkle tossing and turning before he fell to the ground and passed out.

"Boss!" Prince cried as he looked towards Lightning and Dusk. They were both streaming in anger. "Leave this area now!" Lightning shouted.

Darkstar slowly awakened by Prince's voice as they both stared at Sparkle. "Retreat!" He sighed sullenly.

The Meowth Clan regrouped and fled through the forest away from the Pikachu Village. "We did it!!" Lightning smiled.

"Thank Arceus " Dusk replied with a smile as everyone else began to cheer. Thunder went over to Sparkle to see how she was doing. She was tossing and turning as she squealed with fright in her sleep. Thunder frowned but was glad she was okay. "Come. Let's head back into the village" he said as he picked Sparkle up. Thunder handed Sparkle to Lightning as he walked towards the bush Chase was hiding behind and carefully picked him up due to his injured leg.

"Sir? What about the others?" Chase asked Thunder.

"They'll be fine, Chase. We just have to keep moving on" Thunder responded. Chase nodded as the group moved through the forest quietly.

At the Pikachu Village, Lightning laid down as Electra and Sparks nuzzled their cheeks against hers to charge her up. Thunder carefully set Chase down and wrapped his injured leg with leaves and used two sticks as crutches.

Dusk, Amethyst and Shade sat down beside them as they watched Sparkle tossing and turning. " Oh this poor thing, what happened to her? How come she isn't waking up? Shade asked.

"She's been cursed by Darkrai in a perpetual nightmare" Dusk replied.

"Darkrai?!" He gasped in shock and disbelief. Dusk nods. Amethyst looked at Sparkle worried. "I hope we find a way to wake her up" Amethyst replied.

"Me too" Dusk added. "She means a lot to Lightning."

Dusk looked back at Lightning as Electra and Sparks were storing electricity in her cheeks. Lightning caught Dusk glancing at her and gave him a small smile. Dusk smiled back at her. Sparks and Electra stood up as soon as Lightning was charged up.

"Thanks guys" she thanked them.

"No problem" Electra replied with a smile as Dusk walked over to Lightning.

"Dusk" Lightning smiled back at him.

"Glad to see you're okay Lightning" Dusk replied as he nuzzled her.

"Thanks" Lightning replied with a blush. Dusk beams back at her as he blushes as well.

"What are we going to do now. We have to find a way to find Mew and Cresselia so we can stop Mewtwo, wake up Sparkle and free the Pikachu villagers" Lightning said sullenly.

"I'm not too sure" Dusk replied, "Mew will be difficult to find, but if Darkrai is here, Cresselia shouldn't be too far away."

"Yeah, but we don't even know where Darkrai is right now" Lightning replied.

"I have an idea where he went" Thunder chimed in.

"Where?" Lightning asked.

"We were taken into a cave where Zapdos resided and forced to fight him. We were forced to work with an Infernape, a Primeape and a Drowzee" Thunder answered. Dusk growled upon hearing this. He knew exactly who Thunder was referring to. "Inferno..." he uttered lowly.

"So Darkrai is with him?" Lightning asked.

"It seems like it" Dusk replied.

"Oh no... He has Mewtwo and Darkrai!!!" Lightning yelled in terror.

"Easy Lightning" Amethyst told her. "Panicking isn't going to help our situation."

"You're right, Amethyst" Lightning replied.

Everyone relaxed for a moment. "Well any ideas for stopping Inferno, Mewtwo, Darkrai and freeing the villagers?" Lightning asked.

"Well fighting Mewtwo head on is out of the question" Chase said as he got on the ground.

"Chase, has a point. We can't fight a legendary" Lightning responded.

"So then why don't we recruit a legendary of our own"Phoenix added.

Everyone stared at Phoenix. "And where are we going to find one? Finding a legendary is well... legendary. It's going to be quite difficult " Lightning chimed in.

"you got any better ideas missy?" Phoenix retorted.

"Phoenix has a point, we're not strong enough to fight Mewtwo alone in our condition," Amethyst said as she turned her gaze toward Chase. "Especially with Chase's injury."

Lightning sighed. "Alright but what legendary should we look for Mew or Cresselia?"

"Why not both?" Shade replied.

"It's going to be difficult to find even one legendary but we could try" Lightning added.

Everyone agreed and cheered as the sun began to set.

"Well we should look for something to eat before the journey" Lightning replied.

"That and get some rest" Electra added.

"But what about the legendaries?"Sparks questioned.

"Finding them in our state now wouldn't be the best idea, we'll be exhausted and easily overwhelmed " Dusk answered.

"Dusk is right. It's too dangerous to be out in the open exhausted. It'll be an easy way to get hurt or even killed, especially Chase" Lightning said.

"Then it is settled. The healthiest Pokémon will gather food for us while the rest of us set up shelter" Thunder said.

"I'll go" Lightning volunteered.

"I'll go with her" Electra added.

"Okay it's settled then. Just keep your eyes peeled. Be careful and stay aware of crazy wild Pokémon and humans" Thunder warned.

"We will! We promise" Lightning answered as she and Electra disappeared into the bushes.

"We should gather some wood for a fire" Amethyst stated.

"I can help you with that" Shade replied.

Amethyst and Shade set off in the forest to look for wood.

"Umm, sir? I'm going to go after Lightning and Electra to make sure they are safe" Dusk told him.

"That is fine, run along! Catch up to them" Thunder replied.

Dusk nodded as he rushed through the bushes out of the village. He followed their scent as he caught up to them. Lightning and Electra heard pawsteps behind them and it frightened Lightning so much that she used a Thunderbolt on the creature following them. Unaware the Thunderbolt, Dusk was immediately zapped upon impact.

"Ow..." Dusk yelled in agony.

"Dusk?!" Lightning noticed the voice and ran towards him.

"Are you alright?! I didn't mean to, you startled me" she apologized.

"I'm ok... just feeling a bit shakened" Dusk replied as he shook his fur.

"What are you doing here?" Lightning asked.

"I came to make sure you and Electra were okay" he answered.

"We're fine" Lightning replied.

"Yeah, you worry too much about us Dusk" Electra replied.

"With recent events how can I not?" Dusk answered.

"Dusk has a point there" Lightning replied.

"Yeah..." Dusk uttered.

"Well we better get moving" Electra said.

The trio nod as they move to gather food. Lightning spotted an Oran  berry bush near by as she ran ahead towards it. Before she could pick one, she heard a loud screech coming from the sky as she looked up and a huge shadow swooshed past them. "What is that?!" She asked as she backed away from the bush.

Dusk looked up in the sky "I don't see anything up there!" He cried.

"I saw a huge shadow though, Electra, did you see it?" Lightning asked.

"J-just the shadow!!" Electra replied. "It looked huge!"

"See even Electra believes me" Lightning said as she looked up in the sky for a moment and looked back down. "But I think it's gone now." She replied. She was about to pick a berry as she heard the screech again and as fast as the speed of light a huge bird Pokemon's Talons grabbed hold of her and carried her up. "Help!!!!" She screamed.

"Lightning!!" Dusk and Electra screamed as they tried chasing after her.

The giant bird Pokémon released Lightning as she hit a tree trunk face first and fell to the ground wincing in pain. "What the heck was that for?!" Lightning yelled, wincing in pain.

"Lightning! Lightning are you ok!?" Dusk and Electra cried out as they approached her.

"Yeah I'm fine, but why did that Pokémon randomly attack me?" She asked.

"No clue" Dusk replied "but let's grab some food and get out of here before it returns."

"Ok" Lightning replied as she slowly got back up.

The trio fled into a denser part of the forest to avoid detection.

"Did anyone see what the Pokémon was?" Lightning asked.

"Not really. It flew by so fast" Dusk replied.

"It looks like something angered it. Wait a second... didn't Thunder tell us that he had to fight Zapdos?" Lightning asked.

"He did tell us that," Dusk answered, soon coming to a realization. "Wait a minute, that flying bird must have been Zapdos!!"

"He must have attacked me because he thought I was one of the many Pikachu villagers who attacked him." Lightning replied.

"Oh no! What if he finds the Pikachu village?! Thunder, Sparks, Chase and Sparkle may be in danger!" Electra cried.

"How do we stop him then?" Lightning asked.

"I don't know, could we try calming him down?" Dusk asked.

"Calm down a Legendary?!?!?!" Electra asked.

"Hey, it was just a thought ok?!" Dusk responded.

"We could atleast give Dusk's idea a chance. It is better than doing nothing." Lightning replied.

"Fine." Electra replied. "But if we all die then I'm blaming you."

"We won't die, Electra, trust me." Lightning chimed in.

"Come on! We have to hurry before Zapdos destroys the forest." Dusk cried.

"Right" Lightning and Electra replied as they followed Dusk.

Dusk led the girls through the forest into a clearing where they could see Zapdos clearer.

"What's the plan, Dusk?" Lightning asked in a whisper.

"Hand me a berry. I'm going to try to reason with him." Dusk told her.

"Okay." Lightning replied, giving him one of the Oran Berries she picked before they went to find Zapdos.

Dusk takes the berry. "Okay Wait here," Dusk told the girls as he turned around to look for Zapdos.

Lightning looked at him with worry and hope in her eyes that he would be alright. Dusk looked up as he saw the legendary bird circling the forest. "Zapdos!!" He cried out. Zapdos stopped and glared at Dusk.

Dusk looked up at the legendary bird, hiding any bit of fear he could. He himself knew it was a huge risk but it had to be done. Zapdos just continued glaring at him angrily.

"I know you are angry but just hear me out. We mean no harm to you," Dusk started.

Zapdos still glared at him with anger in his eyes.

"My friends were forced to fight you to protect their home." Dusk continued. "They never met you any malice."

Dusk raised the Oran Berry up for Zapdos to see. As Lightning and Electra watched, a safe distance away.

Zapdos looked at the berry with curiosity then looked back at the Eevee in front of him. "How do I know you are telling the truth?"

"This evil Infernape abducted them from their village and were forced to fight you against their will." Dusk answered.

"An evil Infernape?" Zapdos questioned.

Lightning slowly came out of her hiding place and approached Zapdos. "He calls himself Inferno and he has been terrorizing the forest trying to succeed on ruling the world. He even managed to awaken Yveltal, so he could drain all the life out of the forest."

Dusk nodded. "And now he is trying to take over the world again and stop us with two dangerous Legendaries now under his control."

"Is that so..." Zapdos chirped, electricity surrounding his outstretched wings.

Dusk set the berry down in front of Zapdos. "Here. We brought a berry as an offering."

Zapdos landed on the ground in front of Dusk and plucked the berry from the ground with his beak and quickly ate it. The small cut beside his beak disappeared as if it never existed.

Zapdos looked as if he was a lot better now. "Thank you and I apologize for the misunderstanding and for attacking you all of a sudden."

"Don't worry about it." Lightning replied. "But... we do ask for one thing in return."

"What is it?" Zapdos asked.

"Would you assist us into stopping Inferno from his evil plans?" Lightning asked.

"Assist you?" Zapdos questioned. He thought about it for a moment then looked back down at the female Pikachu. "...Fine... I suppose I should help."

"That's great. We really need as much help as we can get. We were already planning to try to find a few legendaries that could help us to even up against Mewtwo and Darkrai." Lightning replied. "We were even thinking of trying to find Mew and Cresselia as well, but we don't know where we would start looking."

"Hm... Mew used to live in a Faraway Island outside of the Hoenn Region but now it seems to more likely reside in the Kanto Region while Cresselia comes from the Sinnoh region. I may be able to fly to those regions but it may take a few days." Zapdos explained.

"But... we can't leave the Kalos Region especially with Inferno causing havoc here even if it would be nice to go back to my home region for a bit." Dusk replied.

Electra slowly stepped out of her hiding place, keeping her eyes on Zapdos. "Maybe Sparks and I could go with Zapdos to find them while the rest of the group stays here to make sure nothing foreboding would happen."

"That could work, but we would need to get Thunder's permission before you take such a long journey. It could be dangerous and Thunder is always concerned about safety like any good leader would be." Lightning said.

"That is true. Speaking of Thunder, we should get back to him before he gets worried." Electra replied.

The trio nodded as they headed back to the village with Zapdos.

They stopped at the entrance of the village when Lightning came to a realization and gasped. "Oh no... I almost forgot... Chase, Sparks and Thunder would be terrified when they see Zapdos with us."

"Then we should let them know before hand. Just in case, it causes a panic." Dusk told her. Lightning, Dusk and Electra entered the village as Zapdos stayed a distance away from the village and waited until it was okay to come in.

"Welcome back!" Thunder announced with a friendly smile to the trio when he saw them.

"We brought a ton of Oran Berries, hopefully this will be enough for everyone." Lightning said, setting the berries down in a pile.

Thunder looked at the pile and nodded. "This should be more than enough to last us the night."

"We also found a legendary that offered to help us." Lightning replied rather nervously.

"Well where is he?" Thunder asked, curiously.

Lightning ran back to the village entrance and gestured Zapdos to come in. As soon as Thunder, Sparks and Chase saw them they gasped in fear.

"W-What is he doing here?!" Thunder asked in utter disbelief and terror.

"He's not here to hurt anyone. We informed him of Inferno's tensions and he wants to help us put an end to his plans." Dusk answered.

"H-he wants to help us...?" Thunder questioned.

"Yes sir! And he even offered to take Sparks and I to the Kanto and Sinnoh region to look for Mew and Cresselia." Electra responded.

Sparks's ears perked up in surprise when he heard his name. "M-me?" He stuttered.

Electra sighed. "Yes you... I don't want to go alone."

"Well I suppose it would be cool to go traveling. Chase and I were originally from the Kanto region when we were Pichus until we were picked up and flown away from our parents to the Kalos region by a Pidgeot. It's a shame that Chase can't go though." Sparks replied, turning his attention to his brother who looked down with his arms crossed in disappointment.

"Maybe one day..." Phoenix told him from a tree branch of the Oak Tree above.

"You two will have a big journey ahead of you so you must be careful. You two should start your journey early by the time the sunrises tomorrow morning." Thunder told them.

"Yes sir!" Electra and Sparks told him.

At that moment, Amethyst and Shade entered the village with a bunch of sticks. "Sorry we're late. It took some time for us to find the perfect amount of sticks for a fire." Amethyst said as the both of them set the sticks down on the ground.

"That's great. Let's rest inside the rock shelter for tonight. Who knows what might happen while we are asleep tonight. Inferno and his group know where the village is so they could try to break in at any moment to try to harm us." Thunder replied.

The group nodded as they all carried the sticks and berries inside the rock shelter while Thunder carried Sparkle inside. Lightning and Dusk set the berries down in the corner of the cave as Shade and Amethyst set the sticks down in the middle of their circle.

"Phoenix... Could you set a fire for the campfire?" Amethyst asked.

"Sure... Just stand back! Wouldn't want one of your tail tips to get burnt!" He joked. Amethyst rolled her eyes at his response as she did what she was asked. Shade sat beside her as they watched Phoenix use a Flame Charge Attack to set the sticks on fire.

The group huddled together around the fire and ate some berries before deciding to rest for the night. Dusk and Lightning laid down beside each other as Amethyst and Shade and Sparks and Electra did the same. Chase laid down not too far from Sparks, and Phoenix laid on the ground beside Amethyst. Zapdos laid down in the middle. Thunder was the only one still standing with Sparkle laying by his side trembling by his feet. He looked outside for any suspicious activity before laying down and falling asleep with the others.

As for Inferno and his dastardly team, Mewtwo stepped into the room he was in. "The Pikachu villagers seemed to have gotten stronger, Master, soon they will be strong enough to fight along side us."

Inferno turned and faced Mewtwo. "Good! And what about Thunder?"

Mewtwo sighed in frustration and crossed his arms. "My apologies sir, but he has betrayed us and joined the enemies.

Inferno growled and slammed a foot down in anger. "Grrrr!! How can this be?! I thought he was in control and unable to resist the trance?!"

"I know. It's such a disappointment! The villagers would be devastated when they know he isn't with them anymore," Mewtwo replied.

"Those children.... Those meddling children will be taken care of soon. They will not interfere with my plans no longer!! This pathetic world belongs to me!!!" Inferno shouted.
