Days passed, it's been 2 weeks when Anubhav gave letter to Haseena and he wasn't answered yet.

Today as it was much busy day in the shop, Karishma came in the shop with Anubhav and Ashok's lunch, where he dined having it while saying that he isn't in the mood to it.

Karishma: bhaiya...ab jindigi bhar vo jawab nahi degi toh kya jindigi bhar bhooke rahoge? Baitho chupchap.

Ashok: Sahi keh rahi hai Karishma, bhai pechle 2 hafton se kya haal bana diya hai tune apna...na theekh se khata hai na peeta hai.
Nahi dena hoga usse jawab, ab toh samajh Jaa yaha Teri daal nahi galegi.

Anubhav gave him a look.

Ashok: sach keh rahe hai, yaha tum matam mana rahe ho par uske chehere pe ek shikanj tak nahi. Hum toh keh rahe hai bhool jao usse, koi dusri mil jayegi.

Anubhav: par hume toh vahi chahiye thi yaar.

Karishma: par usse agar aap nahi chahiye hoge toh?

Anubhav: toh hum nahi jante.

Karishma huffed.

Karishma: chup chap kha lo, varna maa ki daat sun ni padegi.

Anubhav rolled his eyes and started eating.

Anubhav:(pov) Pyaar hai ya phir inkaar...ye hume tumhare mu se sun na hai. Isiliye, aj hum tum se jawab le kar rahenge Haseena.

At night, after dinner, Haseena was in her room while studying when suddenly the lights fused off of her house.
She looked around and went towards the cupboard for the candles.

She took those candles out and burnt them.
She turned around and startled seeing someone standing there in the dark. She was about to shout when the person came towards her and kept his hand on her mouth pinning her to the almirah.

Anubhav:(whispering) Chillao mat! Hum Anubhav hai.

Haseena got shocked listening his voice and brought the candle near his face.

Haseena: A..ap?

She looked at the door and was about to move to close it.

Anubhav: darwaza band hai.

Haseena: ap yaha kyu aye hai? Abbu ne dekh liya toh Kayamat aa jayegi.

Anubhav: Mujhe jawab nahi mila, toh meri maut aa jayegi.

She looked into his eyes with the pinch of fear in her's, but she immediately tried to hide it.

Haseena: m.. matlab?

Anubhav: tumhe ek chitthi bheji thi maine, uska jawab chahiye.

She teared her gaze from him.

Haseena: humne jawab nahi Diya, Zahir hai ki...

She turned around.

Anubhav: ki?

Haseena: ki humari na hai.

Anubhav's gaze became stern.

Anubhav: tumne jawab nahi Diya, matalab haa bhi toh ho sakti hai.

Haseena: ji nahi...humari na hai.

Anubhav: kyu?

Haseena: kyu ki...

She closed her eyes.

Haseena: kyu ki ap...ap hume pasand nahi.

Anubhav held her shoulder and turned her facing her towards him.

Anubhav: tum jhooth bol rahi ho.

She was still looking down

Haseena: ap apni Dil ki tasalli ke liye ye keh sakte hai par iss se sach nahi badal jayega.

Anubhav: Haseena...jo mai roz tumhare ghar ke neeche khada reheta hu, mazak nahi karta hu;
Jo mai humesha tumhare peeche tumhare college tak ata hu, timepass nahi karta hu; jo roz tumhara chhat pe Ane ka intezar karta hu, sirf apni akhe sikwane keliye nahi karta hu...sachmein dewaana hu tumhara.

Haseena gulped and looked at him with a stern gaze.

Haseena: aur hume ye dewaangi kubool nahi hai.

Anubhav: toh tumhare dil mein mere liye kuch nahi hai?

Haseena: nahi...kuch bhi nahi.

Anubhav: Tumhe Mera vaise intezar nahi reheta, jaise mujhe tumhara reheta hai?

Haseena: Nahi reheta.

Anubhav:tumhare dil mein mere liye koi bekarari nahi hai?

Haseena: ji nahi hai, kuch nahi hai.

She again tared her gaze from him.

Haseena: ulta hume ye sab pasand he nahi hai.

Anubhav smiled sarcastically.

Anubhav: toh theekh hai phir, agar tumhe ye sab pasand nahi toh aj ke baad mai tumhare samne kabhi nahi aauga.

Haseena looked at him.

Anubhav: Ek he Moholle mein hote hue bhi, ek he gali mein rehene wale hote hue bhi, tumhe iss Anubhav ki shakal ab kabhi dekhne nahi milegi.

Anubhav looked into her eyes.

Anubhav: kabhi bhi dekhne nahi milegi.

Haseena held her scarf tightly before speaking further.

Haseena: accha hai...iss roz roz ke khauf se ab hume chutkara milega.

Anubhav raised his eyebrows while his sarcastic smile never left his face, which now slowly slowly turned into frown.

Anubhav: toh diya tumhe chutkara, humse bhi aur humara pyaar...ho ki tumhe khauf lagta hai uss se bhi.

Anubhav looked into her eyes with his eyes having a lone tear.

He looked at the candle in her hand and kept his hand on the burning flame.

The room again turned dark and when after 5 min lights were again back Anubhav was gone.

Haseena went in her balcony to look for him but he was no where to be seen.

"toh theekh hai phir, agar tumhe ye sab pasand nahi toh aj ke baad mai tumhare samne kabhi nahi aauga."

"Ek he Moholle mein hote hue bhi, ek he gali mein rehene wale hote hue bhi, tumhe iss Anubhav ki shakal ab kabhi dekhne nahi milegi."

Sadness appeared on her face, would he never look back at her again? Is it really that easy to forget someone? ... Probably not...But why all these thoughts were coming into Haseena's heart? Because according to her, she has no feelings for Anubhav Singh.

Who knows who she lied to? Anubhav or herself ? she realized that the moment she denied Anubhav, her heart broke and the only thing left is sadness.

Anubhav was watching all this from his rooftop, with tears in his eyes but a smile on his lips.

Anubhav: toh farak padta hai Haseena... kuch toh tumhare dil mein bhi hai mere liye par koi baat nahi...agr tumhe iss tadap mein maza ata hai toh yahi sahi, dekhta hu kab tak dur reh pati ho mujhse.

"Laga tha mujhe pyaar milega
Par tum toh inkaar kar gaiee,
Labon pe apne jhoot ko lakar
Tum iss intezar ko aur bekarar kar gaiee!"
