Dining

Khushi started eating with surprise. The man who teased her... made fun of her by calling his mother to their room, a few minutes ago, turned totally opposite to it. Of course, there is a difference between a good husband and a good CEO. A husband could be lovable but a CEO couldn't. He has to be strict to keep everything under control. Being a good wife, she decided to follow AR's rules and regulations.

Arvind flinched seeing a new BED set arriving. Ratna chuckled at him. Khushi turned her head and saw workers were taking the new bed to their room. She closed her eyes tightly.

Arvind: New bed? Why?

Ratna: Chotte's bed got broken.

Arvind(chuckling): Broken? How?

He passed a teasing smile on Arnav and Khushi.

Ratna: Don't look at them. Chotte and Khushi did nothing.... but... it got broken.

She said suppressing her laugh.

Arnav looked at Khushi who was drawing paten on the plate, bowing down.

Arvind: Yeah... our Chotte would not have done anything. Don't I know how calm he is...?

He laughed.

Arnav: The bed was so weak, dad.

Arvind: The bed was not weak. You are so strong I suppose.

Khushi gulped the food hurriedly to leave the place. In that, food got chocked in her throat and she coughed.

Arnav caressed her back.

Ratna: careful.

Arnav made her drink water.

Arnav: Are you alright?

Khushi nodded yes.

Ratna: I think we should check the new bed whether it is strong. Or else Chotte will keep giving an excuse of WEAK bed.

Arnav: Mom, stop teasing. I should have followed Khushi's idea.

He said seriously. Khushi looked at him bewildered.

Arnav: We should have changed the bed after you go to the temple.

He said really feeling sad whereas Khushi glared at him. Completing her lunch, Khushi rushed from there.

Arnav: Khushi, wait... I too come to check the bed.

Arvind punched at his bicep playfully. Ratna adored Arnav's smiling form.

Arvind: I'm so happy to see you happy, Chotte.

Ratna: I was so worried when I got to know that you loved Khushi, not Lavanya. I thought your LIFE is DONE.

Arvind: She is right, Chotte. We felt guilty for making you married to Lavanya. Thank God... you got Khushi in your life.

Ratna: Don't make Khushi feel bad for anything, Chotte. Keep her happy always.

Arnav: She is so sweet, Mom. She will be happy in all situations.

Ratna: she makes everyone happy around her.

Arvind: She is coming to AR, don't show your CEO side to her too.

Arnav nodded yes he thought about the outing plan which he planned for Guptas.

Arnav: I want to talk to you about something.

Ratna: Tell me.

Arnav: What about a family trip?

Arvind: That's a good idea.

Arnav: Khushi's parents are upset with Lavanya. I think we will take Guptas too.

Ratna: Yeah... they need mind diversion.

Arvind: I will call them, they feel respected.

Arnav: Undoubtedly.

Ratna: What's the spot?

Arnav: it's your choice.

Ratna: Mine...?

Arnav: Yeah, your daughter-in-law believes that you will choose a good entertainment spot.

Ratna (chuckling): Really?

Arnav: Yeah.... The only condition is "no temples".

He laughed. Arvind shared high five with him.

Ratna: What about MILKYWAY resort? Swimming pool, boating, horse-riding, everything is there.

Arvind: Cool....

Arnav: Super cool... that's what mom.

Ratna raised her imaginary collar, proudly.

Ratna: When will be the trip?

Arnav: Coming weekend.

Ratna(excitedly): I will prepare snacks.

Arnav: No need... enjoy the trip in fullest. Take two full days of leave.

Arvind: Yeah, he is right. Don't stress. This trip is for everyone not only for men.

Arnav: Exactly.

Ratna: I will inform Garima.

Arnav: Thank you, mom.

...

After fixing the bed, the workers left RM. Arnav entered the room and laughed, seeing Khushi checking the bed.

Arnav: Is it strong?

Khushi: Don't talk to me...

Arnav: Why? What did I do?

Khushi: You made fun of me, calling Amma to our room.

Arnav: Was not it fun?

Khushi: Fun? Seriously? This is too much. Won't you keep anything secret?

Arnav: Of course, there is a lot to keep as a secret. Didn't I keep our BET secretly?

Dropping her jaw, Khushi sat on the bed pouting. Arnav sat beside her.

Arnav: Are you upset?

Khushi didn't answer.

Arnav: Ok... I won't tell them anything. Happy?

Khushi nodded NO.

Arnav: Why?

Khushi: It feels different.

Arnav: Ohh...

Khushi(hugging him): They are so sweet.

Arnav kissed her hair.

Arnav: Are not you really upset?

Khushi(nodding no): Only a lucky person gets such sweet in-laws. I never thought that I will get a friendly in-laws.

Arnav: What about your husband?

Khushi: Don't ask about him... such a tease he is...

Arnav chuckled.

Arnav: I too never thought you will be my wife. Still, I can't believe you are with me. You know Khushi; mom searched many girls for me. I didn't like any.

Khushi: Yeah... you don't like make-up face.

Arnav: Not only that. I didn't feel anything in my heart when I saw those girls. The feel....which I felt only for you.

Khushi (leaning on his shoulder): I destined for you that's why I reached you. I got shattered when I experienced the worst in my life.

Arnav: Khushi, you know what? Sometimes life makes us learn many things by making us experience the "worst thing". Instead of being sad, we should learn from the experience. That's how we have to tackle life.

Khushi: But, why do you telling this to me now?

Arnav: You felt bad when you got to know about Lavanya.... And when Rohit misbehaved with you...

Khushi: Mmmm...

Arnav: What do you learn from them Khushi? Did you ever think of that? Did you ever think of shaping your life, using those BAD experiences?

Khushi looked at him not understating his point.

Arnav: Start suspecting people Khushi. Suspect everyone around you. Stop trusting people blindly. It will save you from disappointments.

Khushi: What are you trying to say?

Arnav: I don't want you to get disappointment. That's all I could say.

Khushi looked at him bewildered. She really couldn't understand why he is advising suddenly.

Khushi was thinking about Arnav's sudden advice. Why he wants her to remember about Lavanya and Rohit? And what made her more surprised is he advised her when there was a super opportunity for romancing. He was not a person who advises often for everything. There must be a strong reason for it. But why he is hesitating to open it up openly? He wants her to be careful about people. ok fine... whatever it is, somehow it will come out of the box. Let's see...
