Next day

Khushi was arranging her books in her bag whereas Arnav dressing up. Taking her bag, Khushi frowned seeing Arnav. Arnav looked left and right like, "What?"

Khushi: Arnavji, wait...

Arnav flinched. Khushi dusted his hair like, something was there. Next second, she pecked his lips and rushed towards the exit giggling. Before Arnav composed himself, she reached the entrance. Arnav's loud voice made her root on the spot.

Arnav: Stay....

Khushi stood without turning, sniggering. She sensed heard his footsteps nearing her. He turned her around to face him.

Arnav: What kind you are? When I neared you, you restrict me and when I make myself to be quite, you unlocking your TAIL... no doubt, you are really a monkey. Your mind always wavers.

Khushi pouted at him.

Arnav: What expression is this?

Khushi: What can a small girl do, when her husband looks hot?

Arnav(chuckling): HOT? Seriously?

She nodded yes with the same pout.

Arnav: Do you think, with your monkey mind, could you concentrate on your studies?

She hugged him whining, without answering.

Arnav lifted her chin, bending his face.

Arnav: I have a remedy.

Khushi (excitedly): What's that?

Arnav: Go and stand under the shower. Your body will get cooled down.

Khushi's jaw surely dropped hearing that, because she expected some romantic idea from him. She pushed him to go out; Arnav pulled her towards him and held her jaws tightly, making her eyes popping out. He drew her face and consumed her petals. Her petals like lips drove him crazy whereas his inflexible lips took her sense away. They broke the kiss halfheartedly. Arnav didn't see the naughty expression on her face. Arnav cupped her face.

Arnav: You are making me crazy. I think we should take the relationship to the next level. It will be good for both of us.

Khushi hugged his neck, closing her eyes tightly.

Khushi: I too think the same.

Arnav(smiling): don't complain if I take it as a full-time job.

Khushi tightened the hug biting her lip.

Arnav: Are not you going to college?

Khushi broke the hug jerking.

Khushi: oh my God... I'm getting late.

Arnav: If you drown into your husband then you will be late every day.

Khushi: Let's go...

She dragged him with her downstairs.

Dropping Khushi in the college, Arnav went to AR. Weh Khushi entered the class, Anu looked upset.

Khushi: What happen Beta?

Anu was silent.

Khushi: Hey... what?

Anu: however you will CUT us from your life one day. Then that's the point to be close to you Khushi?

Khushi: What the heck?

Anu: I don't want to get hurt like Rohit.

Khushi understood what would happen.

Khushi: Not hearing another side, coming to the conclusion is not wise.

Anu: What do you want me to hear Khushi? How could you be so coldhearted towards your friend?

Khushi: Anu, you are making me fed-up. A male-friend should know his limits. Calling me untimely would never make sense. If someone in Arnavji's place, he won't let me talk to Rohit. Do you think Rohit is that innocent who doesn't know the consequences? He is creating an unwanted rift between me and Arnavji which I can't allow. Before supporting Rohit, stand on my shoes and think. Think, what you would have done if you were in my place. If you still upset with me then fine.

She left the place not want to argue more. Anu tried to talk to Khushi but Khushi didn't give up as she felt she was not wrong.

Evening

Taking her bag, Khushi left the class not waiting for Anu. As she didn't expect, Rohit was waiting for her. His face clearly stated he was up to something. Khushi didn't feel to talk to him. She went passing him. but he was not ready to leave her, without asking her, for what he came. He blocked her way, standing in front of her.

Rohit: Why did you block me?

Khushi: I don't think, I need such a friend like you.

Rohit: What I did you took such a decision?

Khushi: Let's not discuss it.

Rohit: Why? Why Khushi?

Khushi: I don't think you worth my time.

Rohit: we are friends for twenty years.... Is your husband important than me who just came into your life a few days ago?

Khushi: yes... he is... because he is the one who is going to come with me till my last breath.

Rohit was stunned.

Rohit(composing): Doesn't mean you shouldn't have any friends.

Khushi: It's up to me. It would be purely my decision whether I need friends or not.

Rohit: Why? Won't your so-called husband like to see you with your friends?

Khushi (blustered): Stop addressing him SO-CALLED.

Rohit taken back, seeing her wrath.

Khushi: Are you a friend? Do you know what is a friend? A friend should think good to his friend... unlike you.

She pushed him aside and came out of the campus. She stunned seeing, Arnav getting down from the car. She rushed to him composing herself.

Khushi: Arnavji.... you here?

Arnav: Get in...

Khushi sat inside the car before Arnav saw Rohit. Arnav started the engine and drove off.

Seeing her lost, Arnav slightly pressed the brake and made her jerk.

Arnav (smiling): Where were you?

Khushi: I... oh...

That's when she found them traveling in a different way.

Khushi: Arnavji... where are we going?

Arnav: Thank God... finally you noticed it.

Khushi: Tell me Arnavji...

She saw their car taking a left turn which leads them to Gupta House.

Khushi: Are we going to meet my parents?

Arnav: Yes... after the revelation of Lavanya, I wanted to meet them. But before that, many things had taken place in our life. But now, I think we should make them feel better.

Khushi liked this concern of Arnav very much. Her husband is really a hero. She nodded yes smiling.

Arnav: Remember... according to them, I and my parents know nothing about Lavanya.

Khushi nodded yes.

Arnav: Just behave cool in front of them. Ok?

Khushi: Ok.

Guptas literally felt elated seeing their DAMAD with their daughter. Arnav started to converse casually.

Arnav: How are you uncle?

Shashi nodded yes, of course with guilty.

Shashi: you came without informing.... anything special Arnav?

Arnav: Just felt to see you, uncle.

Shashi: Garima... bring something for them to eat.

Arnav: Aunty wait...

Garima looked at him.

Arnav: I want to talk to guys.

Khushi frowned at him. what he is going to talk? Didn't he ask her to be quiet about Lavanya's matter? Now, is he going to tell them about it?

Arnav: Do you remember you asked me once for an outing?

Shashi looked at him surprisingly.

Arnav: I think now, I could make time for it. I thought of planning a family trip. What say, uncle?

Arnav thought Guptas need a mental relaxation. He knew they would never come out of Lavanya's thought until someone brought them out. When he got the idea, he didn't even think of anything. So he is here.

Arnav: I and Khushi will be happy if you accompany us.

If Guptas were not there, Khushi would have made his lips swell by kissing him for sure. She was that emotional... Doesn't she know why Arnav is doing this? Not only her but also Guptas are lucky to have such a son-in-law... who treats his in-laws as his own parents.
