Kavin felt broken this time. He has tears in his eyes. He gets up to leave. But something weird happens. 

Dushyant (from Bluetooth) – Purvi I hope tumhe use sab bata dena chahiye.

Kavin pov: Ye Dushyant mujhe Purvi kyu keh raha hai?

Purvi – Ha bhai. Shayad kuch jyada hi hogaya.

Kavin turns back with a jerk.

Kavin – Purvi tum bhi Dushu se connected ho?

Purvi – Sir..wo..ha.

Kavin – Kya? Aur kaise? Aur mujhe kya batane ki baat chal rahi thi?

Dushyant – Ruk. Hum canteen aate hai. Tabhi sab bata denge.

In few minutes Ishyant, Nikhil and Shreya come in the canteen.

Dushyant – Ha to sun...

Flashback:

ACP, Daya, Abhijeet, Dushyant, Nikhil and Shreya are in Purvi's ward.

Daya – Kitni chot lagi hai sir ise.

ACP – Ha Daya..

Abhijeet – Shreya tum aaj raat iske saath rehna. Aur Dushyant tum..

Dushyant – Sir mai Kavin ke saath reh lunga.

Abhijeet – Haa. Chaliye sir. Waise bhi Purvi se is haalat me baat nahi kar payenge.

Nikhil – Sir mai thodi der yaha Pari ke saath ruk sakta hu?

ACP nods. And the three leave. Purvi gains consciousness.

After a while, Shreya is caressing Purvi's head and everyone is talking.

Dushyant – Kavin ko bhi Purvi se pyaar hai waise.

The three look at him..

Dushyant – Sach..bass wo man nahi raha. Usne bachpan ki kuch baato ka darr man me bitha rakha hai.

Purvi becomes sad. – Bhai jaane dijiye na. Agar unhe nahi manni apni dil ki baat to..

Dushyant – Nahi choti. Wo tumhare bina khush nahi reh paega. Agar wo tumse pyaar nahi karta, to shayad maine kabhi use samjhane ki koshish ki hi nahi hoti. Mai use jaanta hu. Darpok hai wo bohot. Kuch karna padega jisse wo ijhaar kar de.

Just then the doctor enters.

Doctor – Ab kaisi ho Purvi? Tumhe sab yaad to hai na? I mean aaj ki baatein, kal ki, parso ki etc..?

Purvi (sadly)– Ha doctor. Sab yaad hai. Lekin kyu?

Doctor – Thank god. Tumhari injuries ki wajah se tumhari memory loss ke kafi chances the. But I am happy ki aisa kuch nahi hua. Thik hai. Aap log bhi jaldi patient se milke bahar jaiyye.

Everyone nods. Doctor leaves.

Nikhil – Mil gaya tikdum!

Shreya – Kya?

Nikhil – Yaaddasht

Dushyant – Yaaddasht?

Nikhil – Ha. Aapne suna doctor ne kya kaha? Iski yaaddasht jaa sakti thi. Kyu na hum usi baat ka fayda uthaye?

Shreya – Matlab?

Nikhil – Are..Purvi sab bhul gayi aisa natak karenge. Aur Purvi...tu bhi pehle ki tarah lady don ban ja. Gussail, Stone hearted. Kavin sir tujhe jaroor miss karenge. Aur phir hum kuch idea karke kuch purani yaadein phir recreate karne ki koshish karenge. Jise yaad karke Kavin sir ko unke pyaar ka ehsaas hoga.

Purvi – Nahi Nikki. Ye galat hai. Hum ACP sir aur bakiyo ko aise nahi fasa sakte.

Dushyant – Ha Nikhil.

Nikhil – Ohho! Dekho aaj humari night shift hai. Usme mai sabko bata dunga. Kavin sir chodke sabko plan pata hoga, okay?

Dushyant and Purvi are still skeptical but after Shreya's advice both reluctantly agree.

After sometime, Nikhil leaves for bureau and Dushyant to meet Kavin.

Kavin – Ohh...to sab ke sab mile hue hai...yani wo flowers ko kuchalna, aaj card jalana, uss din gunde wagera aur car me khadoos jaisa bartaav karna sab plan tha?

Nikhil – Gunde? Nahi. Gundo ka humara plan nahi tha.

Purvi – Wo....wo...wo ek coincidence tha...

Kavin looks at her with suspicion

Purvi – Sach..

Dushyant – Tum thik to choti?

Purvi – Ha bhai. Sir ne help ki meri.....I am fine 😊

Shreya – Chalo finally sab sahi ho gaya. Kavin sir ne bhi apne dil ki baat maan li. Ijhaar bhi kar liya.

Everyone is happy and chatting, but Kavin was silent all the time. Purvi senses something and goes to him. But he doesn't talk with her.

He gets angry with everyone for lying with him and leaves the bureau. Even in night, Dushyant tries to talk with him, but he doesn't respond. He even sleeps in his room that night. Dushyant has a sleepless night. He sleeps silently at the break of dawn. Dushyant wakes up not to find Kavin in the house. He searches Kavin's room to find all his clothes and accessories are missing and a note placed on the table that read: Humesha ke liye Delhi jaa raha hu. Goodbye.

Well, Dushyant got a 440-volt ka jhatka. He hurriedly gets ready. He already sent a photo of the note to Purvi and told her to check Mumbai-Delhi flight timings and to track Kavin's location. He calls Kavin continuously, but finds Kavin's phone switched off. He rushes to bureau. He reaches there at 8:45 am. Purvi tells him that one flight is at 09:15 am and other is at 11:45 am. Also, she tells that Kavin's last location is their house. Both guess that Kavin must have taken the earliest flight booking. (I don't know the timings. Aise hi tukka hai. Par khair story hai to ignore karo ye sab). Both of them rush to the airport which, fortunately is near to bureau (Pardon, but I don't know if it really is, but again, kahani hai, ignore the mistakes). But they both are sad as it's already 09:05 am. They know that if he had booked the 09:15 am flight, he must have boarded the flight. They see Kavin's car in the parking. Both with teary eyes look at it. Maybe there's hope. They go to the car only to not find anyone inside it.. Both are looking at his car. And both sense someone at their back.

The person – Koi marr gaya kya?

Both turn around in a jerk. Dushyant hugs the person. While Purvi controls her impulse of hugging him.

Dushyant – Hume laga tu Delhi chala gaya.

Kavin – Haa jaanewala tha, par murga kaise banata tum logo ka?

Dushyant separates from the hug. – Kya?

Kavin – Bhai..Mujhe dhoondhne ke chakkar me aaj ka mahina badla?

Dushyant thinks – Nahi..nahi badla. Aaj ki date (he takes out his mobile and sees the date) 1 April. Shit!

Kavin laughs – HaHaHa. Kaisa laga mera April fool?

Dushyant – Matlab tujhe gussa nahi aaya tha kal?

Kavin – Aaya tha. Par thodisi der ke liye. Maine shaanti se socha to gussa utar gaya. Phir calendar dekha. 31 March. To ye idea aa gaya. Socha...mai bhi thodi khichai karu

Dushyant – Tu paagal hai saale!

Kavin – Ab to tu mera saala hone wala hai. Kyu Purvi? 

Purvi smiles between the tears.

Kavin – Aao bhai. Gale mil lo.

Purvi hugs him. Tightly. And Dushyant joins both of them in the hug. The trio have a tight hug. Everyone's informed soon about Kavin's joke. And the three hug each other again for some more time............
