Teju was getting ready in her outfit for the press conference... She was emotional, as tomorrow she was set to fly to Bulgaria for the show... The long distance between her and Karan was about to begin, and she was feeling extremely low about it... Teju sniffed, wiping away her tears..

Teju : Sunny, muje dar lag raha hai.. I'm so scared of being apart from you again.. Dar lagra hai ki kahin ye distance hume weak na kar de..

Karan tightened his embrace, soothingly rubbing her back..

Karan wiped her tears gently..

The venue was buzzing with excitement as paps and youtubers gathered for the much-anticipated press conference of the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.. Teju arrived at the backside of the venue and parked there.. Parvez opened the door for Teju.. 

Teju : Thanks Parvez..

She glanced at Karan, who was sitting inside the car.. 

Teju : Thank you Sunny.. mere kehne pe yahaan tak aaya tumne..

Karan : Thanks kyun bol rahi ho, laddoo.. I would have come inside, par tumare naye project mein koi bhi issues mere vajase nahi aana chahiye.. isliye main andar nahi aaraha hun.. Don't worry.. Main video call karunga.. All the best, laddoo..

Teju : Thanks Sunny.. I'm so excited to meet my co-participants.. Rohit sir se bhi milne vaali hun..

Karan : Arey haan.. main ye puchna hi bulgaya.. Tune Rohit sir ko bataya ki tu bhi iss show me ek contestant banke ja rahi hai?

Teju : Nahi Sunny.. it's going to be a surprise for him.. But I'm sure unko pehle se hi pata hoga, as team ne unko bata diya hoga..

Karan : haan.. voh bhi hai.. acha chal.. main live stream me dekhunga.. you just rock the press conference.. also muje teri saaman pack karni hai.. So I'm leaving.. Press conference katam hone se pehle Parvez ko call kar lena, voh tuje pick kar lega.. Thik hai?

Teju : Ok.. I'll call him.. 

Teju smiled and leaned in, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before stepping out of the car.. 

Karan bid her goodbye and Parvez started to drive the car home.. Here, Teju took a deep breath and entered the backstage area.. She saw so many people busy with the preparations for the press conference.. She dialled Appu's number as she had promised to accompany her.. 

Appu : haan Teja.. kahaan hai tu?.. I reached the venue..

Teju : Main bhi paunch chuki hun.. Tu kahaan pe hai?.. Main backstage ke paas ek room hai na, vahaan entrance me khadi hun..

Appu : I can see you.. Rukh vahaan.. main aarahi hun..

Appu came to her and they shared a hug..

Teju : I'm so excited as well as nervous.. naye log, naya show..

Appu : stress na le .. sab thik hi hoga.. saare contestants ek saath baithe hain.. kuch log ka abhi bhi aana baaki hai.. mostly sab aagaye hein.. And I'm sure you are going to be happy as tuje bhi ek surprise milne vala hai..

Teju raised an eyebrow, curious..

Teju : Muje surprise milne vala hai?.. Kya bol rahi ho?..

Appu : voh tume abhi thodi der mein pata chal jayega.. Acha chal.. contestants ko toh dekhte hain..

Teju : tu kuch toh bol rahi hai.. I'm not getting it.. chal dekhte hain, aisa kon hai..

Teju and Appu entered the room where the contestants were seated.. Everyone was new to Teju except one person.. Seeing that person, Teju's lips spread wide and her eyes had a different hope..

Appu : Surprise kaisa hai?

Teju : Really?

Appu nodded.. Teju wiped her tears and put her ever attracting smile on her face.. A lady saw Teju and Appu and walked towards them..

Lady : Hi, Tejasswi Prakash.. Myself Adaa, Adaa Khan.. 

Teju shook hands with Adaa.. Adaa shook hands with Appu too..

Teju : Hi Adaa.. Nice to meet you..

Appu to Adaa : Appu, Teja's manager..

Adaa : Nice to meet you too.. Maine aapka series dekha tha.. Mind blowing performance tha..

Teju : Thanks.. Aap bhi kam nahi.. Naagin ka seasons dekha hun.. You nailed the character..

Adaa : Oh .. thanks.. Have you met the other contestants?

Teju : No.. abhi abhi aayi hun..

Adaa : Toh come.. main bhi nahi mila.. 

Teju looked at Appu for assurance.. Appu signed to go with her.. Teju smiled at Adaa and they went near the other contestants who were busy talking with one another..

Adaa : Hi guys.. 

Other contestants were happy to see Adaa, as everyone knew her.. They also knew Teja from her and Karan's web series, but weren't so comfortable talking with her.. One person was particularly happy to see Teja there.. He got up and hugged Teja.. Teju got emotional and hugged him tightly..

Teju : Tune kyun nahi bataya, Arju?.. I already told you about me participating in this show.. Why did you not tell me? haan?

Arjun : Nahi.. Voh Bulgaria nahi aapayegi.. Ayaan ka school chal raha haina.. So voh nahi aarahi hai.. Neha ka bhai aaraha hai.. 

Teju : Ohh.. phir thik hai.. Toh tum, main, Sreetu aur Neha bhabhi ka bhai, sab masti karenge.. Thik hai..

Arjun : Okay meri maa.. Abh chalo, baaki logon se bhi mil le..

With Arjun by her side, Teju met with other contestants and somehow she managed to get to know everyone.. After some time, she received a video call from Karan..

Teju : Haan Sunny.. reached home?

Karan : abhi abhi reach kiya.. Vaise tuje Appu ne kuch surprise dikhaya ki nahi?

Teju : Surprise toh nahi mila..

Karan : Nahi mila tuje?.. Tune co-contestants se mili ya nahi?

Teju : sab se mil liya.. Par Sunny, tuje pata hai.. yahaan koi bhi nahi hai joh main apni friend bol paun.. 

Karan : Kyun?.. voh Arjun nahi aaya kya?

Teju : Konsa Arjun?

Karan : Arey.. humara Arjun.. usne bola tha voh KKK kar raha hai..

Teju : You mean Mera Arju..

Karan : What?... ye kya "mera Arju' and all .. Voh sirf Arjun hai.. Tera bhai..

Teju : Mere liye voh mera Arju hi hai.. Par voh kyun yahaan aayega?.. 

Karan was confused.. Later, he noticed Teju giving signs to someone near her.. He understood that she was playing with him..

Karan : Ohh.. ok fine.. Arjun nahi aaya na.. Main Neha ko batata hun ki voh show ke naam pe jhoot bolke kahi outing ja raha hai..

Arjun : Arey arey.. Mere ache khaase shaadi ko kyun todne ka plan bana rahe ho Karan?.. Main yahi pe hun..

Arjun stepped into the frame, grinning widely.. Karan laughed, shaking his head..

Karan : Pata tha gadha.. isliye natak kiya.. Acha press conference shuru hogaya kya?

Arjun : abhi tak nahi.. kuch contestants aana baaki hai I think, so isliye late karre hain..

Karan : Acha thik hai.. Laddoo ka dyaan rakhna aur haan, kisi aur ko laddoo ke pass syada baat karne mat dena.. You know what I mean..

Arjun chuckled understanding his possessiveness..

Arjun : I'll take care of your laddoo.. Tu apna dyaan rakh.. bye..

Karan : Laddoo.. call me once you are free.

Teju : haan ok Sunny.. bye.. love you..

Karan : Love you too my baby..

They ended the call.. Teju smiled and then looked at Arjun, giving him a scrutinising look..

Arjun : Kya hua? Aise kyun dekh rahi ho?

Teju : kiske paas syaada baat nahi karna hai?.. Sunny kya bol raha tha?

Arjun : Voh.. kuch nahi.. yahaan koi young male contestants honge na.. unko toh pata nahi hoga ki tu kisi aur ke fiance ho.. voh toh obviously line maarenge.. isliye Karan, out of possessiveness, bolraha hai ki tuje kisi aur ke saath syada baat na karne dun..

Teju : Mera Sunny toh pura kabir singh vala hai...

Arjun : Arey Arey.. Abhse 4 mahine tumare ye Sunny ye Sunny voh bakwass sunna hai muje... Main kahaan jaun?..

Teju : Abh toh tu mere saath phas gaya hai.. Tuje toh har 5 minute ke baad ye sab sunne ko milega.. 

Arjun : Ok fine.. behan hogayi.. isliye jhel lunga..

Rohit Shetty arrived at the venue.. He gave a few poses to the paps and entered the backstage.. He received the papers containing the list of contestants and information about the show's ad partners..

As he read through the list of contestants and their backgrounds in the industry so that it will be easy for him to answer the media, he was shocked to see Tejasswi Prakash's name.. He immediately called the director to recheck whether the name was correct...

Director : Rohit.. Aapne bulaya?

Rohit Shetty : Ye contestant list mein ye kon hai?.. 

Director : ye.. She is Tejasswi Prakash.. South Indian Television me one of the famous actress hai.. yahaan Hindi me bhi kuch web series and music videos ki hain.. And suna hai koi film bhi kar rahi hai.. Aap nahi jaante ho?

Rohit shetty in his mind : 1 month pehle hi iska aur Karan ka problem solve hua.. abhi kyun aisa project choose kiya hai ye.. Shoot keliye bulgaria jaana hai, aur Karan ek big actor hai.. voh vahaan ayega toh sabko inke relationship ke baremein pata chal jayega.. So, I think voh nahi aayega.. Toh ye akeli kaise sab kuch handle karegi.. ye toh puri bachi hai.. hmm.. hume show host karne ke saath saath ispe bhi thoda dyaan rakhna hoga.. Toh ye vahi suprise hai joh Teju us din bata rahi thi.. Entertainment ka toh iss season me koi kami nahi hogi..

he smiled and read the other contestants names and backgrounds.. After reading them fully, he stood up and informed the director to start the press conference..

Soon the media people started recording.. The anchor of the event came to the stage and gave an intro about the show, coming with it's brand new season.. He introduced the host of the show, Rohit Shetty and asked about his thoughts regarding the new season..

Later, the anchor introduced each contestant.. They were greeted by the flashes of cameras and cheers from the paps.. 

Anchor : abh milte hain bohot hi pretty, sundar, susheel, humari aapki sabki Teja se, Tejasswi Prakash.. 

As the anchor introduced her.. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves as her name was called.. With smiling face, she stepped onto the stage.. Adaa Khan cheered for her and she passed a smile to Teja.. Teja smiled back to her and stood beside Adaa.. Teja saw Rohit sir smiling at her and she went to him and shook hands with him.. Rohit immediately switched off the mike as he didn't want anything to be heard by anyone..

Teju : Hi sir..

Rohit Shetty : Hi Teju.. What a suprise?

Teju : kuch bhi sir.. aapko team valon ne pehle hi bataya hoga na.. 

Rohit Shetty : sach main nahi pata tha.. acha.. hum iss baremein baad mein baat karte hain.. thik hai?

Teju : Okay.. by the way, aap muje congratulate nahi karoge?

Rohit Shetty : Congratulations, Teju! Welcome to the show,. I'm sure you're going to rock it..

Teju : Thank you so much, sir.. main aapko bohot syada tang karungi iss show mein..

Rohit Shetty : phir toh main tuje tough stunts dekh kar tang karunga..

Teju : phir toh nahi chahiye Sir.. ok bye.. sab dekh rahe hain.. 

Rohit Shetty smiled at her innocence and switched on the microphone.. He continued listening to the press conference.. Teju joined Adaa..

Adaa : Aap jaanti hain Rohit Sir ko?

Teju : hmmm.. nahi toh.. And no formal please.. tu hi thik hai.. 

Adaa : Ohh.. I thought tu jaanti hogi Rohit sir ko..isliye bohot der baat karrahi hogi..

Teju : No.. no.. he asked me about my job.. isliye bata rahi thi.. that's it..

Adaa : Tuje dar nahi laga, saamne se baat karne se.. He is the world famous director..

Teju : sach bolun ya jhoot?

Adaa : Jhoot..

Adaa laughed hearing her talk.. She felt good being with Teja and felt an instant connection..

Adaa : You are so sweet yaar.. I like you..

Teju : Thank you.. Thank you..  Tum bhi koi kam nahi ho Naagin madam..

She made a naagin action gesture which was captured by the paparazzi.. The photos of Teja and Adaa's quick bonding were posted on social media, gaining attention..

As the press conference continued, the contestants were asked to give solo pictures and to talk with the press for 2 minutes.. It was Teja's turn to address to the media..

Interviewer : Teja Mam.. Kaisa feel kar rahe hain aap?

Teju : Acha lagraha hai.. Ek stunt based show hai, bohot saare khatre honge.. First time aise show mein participate kar rahi hun.. Dekhte hain..

Interviewer : Aapko kis cheez se dar hai?

Teju : Dar toh sabse lagta hai.. Mainly height se.. Baaki sab toh handle karbhi lungi..

Interviewer : Teja, what made you decide to join Khatron Ke Khiladi this season?

Teju : I've always been a fan of challenging myself, and Khatron Ke Khiladi is the ultimate test of strength and courage.. I wanted to push my limits and see what I'm truly capable of..

Karan watched proudly from the live telecast, his heart swelling with admiration for Teju's courage and resilience.. He sat surrounded by their family and watched her press conference live on TV..

As Teju's byte came to a close, she thanked her fans for their support and encouragement.. After the press conference concluded, Teju, Arjun and Appu made their way back to the car.. Teju quickly called Parvez to let him know she was ready to be picked up..

Teju: Appu, thank you for being here with me today.. This means a lot..

Appu: Anytime, Teju.. You did amazing today.. Now, go get some rest and get ready for the adventure ahead..

Arjun : Ok Sweetheart, hum kal airport pe milte hain..

Teju : Haan Arju.. bye..

As Parvez pulled up, Teju hugged Appu one last time before getting into the car.. Karan called her almost immediately..

Karan : Laddoo, you were fantasti.. I watched the whole thing live..

Teju : Thank you, Sunny.. I felt so nervous, but having Appu and Arjun with me made it all easier.. Rohit sir se bhi baat hui thi..

Karan : I knew you'd shine.. Tu jaldi aa.. Ghar main tere liye dinner ready karke rakhe hain..

Teju : I'm coming Sunny..
