Next morning was different for both Teja and Karan..

It's 8 in the morning 🌞.. Karan opened his eyes after a lot of struggles.. His eyes fell on the sleeping beauty beside him.. But his face fell seeing her shivering..

Karan : laddoo..kya hua? 😟Laddoo..

He gently touched Teja's forehead, feeling the intensity of her fever.

Karan : shit.. Laddoo ko tez bukar hai.. 😰

Karan got up immediately and went to the hall..All the elders were talking in the hall..

Karan : mumma.. Mumma..

Kd : kya Subah subah mumma mumma kaara hai ? Jaa jaake laddoo laddoo kar..

KM, TD, and TM couldn't help but chuckle at KD's playful comment. Karan frowned in response😐

Kd : thik hai.. Kya hogaya? 😕

Karan : mumma.. Muje kaada chahiye..

Km : kyun? Are you not feeling well ? 🧐

Km got up and checked Karan's temperature.

Km : Tu toh bilkul thik hai.. Phir?

Karan : mumma.. Muje nhi, laddoo ko bukaar hai.. 😔

Tm : kya? 😟

Karan : haan aunty.. Bohot tez bukaar hai..

Tm : usko agar bukaar laggaya toh voh jaldi nhi utrega.. Kadavule(oh god)

Karan : abh kya karna hai aunty? 😥

Td : pehle Teju ko dekhte hein..

Kd : haan.. Mei thanda paani aur patti leke aata hun..

Km : I'll make kaada ..

Km and Kd were busy with their work while Tm, Td and Karan went to Teja..

Tm : Teju.. Baby.. Aankhein kol...

Tm sat on the bed and caressed Teju's hair..

Tm : baby..Amma ko dekh..

Teju slowly opened her eyes.. First she looked beside her where Karan slept with her..Frowning at not finding him beside her, she looked around in confusion.😕. Karan noticed this and smiled 🙂a little but his tension for her overpowered him..

Tm : baby.. Kya hua? 😟

Teju turned her face towards Tm, Td, and Karan. Her expression brightened upon seeing Karan. 😀

Teju : Amma.. Muje kuch nhi hua..

Tm : headache hai baby?

Teju : nhi Maa..

Td : Teju.. Beta, aaj rest karlo.. Aaj kahi mat jaana.. Off lena..

Teju : Appa.. I'm fine.. Muje kuch nhi hua.. Bass thoda sa fever hai.. Muje shoot pe jaana hai..

Km and kd came with kaada and paani..

Km : koi kahi nhi jaara.. Aaj Teju ghar pe rest karegi.. Utho.. Jaldi ye garam garam kaada piyo..

Teja : kaada? Voh kya hota hai ? 🧐

Tm : Teju.. Nama oorula epdi "kashayam" ho athu pola inga  athuku peru "kaada".. ( humare city me "kashayam" bolte hai na... Yahaan iska naam "kaada" hai )

Teju : yuckk.😒. Apo kasakumey? ( phir toh voh kadwa hoga)

Tm : baas konjama ( thoda sa)

Teju : Amma..

Km : Teju..

Teju looked at Karan with puppy eyes 🥺.. Karan responded by giving a flying kiss 😘 and gestured for her to drink the kaada.

Teju : thik hai..🙄

Kd : good girl.. Abh ye peena jaldi.. Mei thande paani me patti bandhta hun..

Kd placed a cold cloth on Teju's forehead.. He also made her drink the kaada.. Teju while drinking kaada held Kd's hand tightly like she used to do with Td..

Observing the care and love Teju was receiving from KM and KD, Teja's parents felt immensely happy..

Omi and Sreetu came inside Karan's room while yawning🥱🥱..

Omi : yahan kya hora hai *yawning* 🥱🥱

Kd : Omi.. family doctor ko call karna..

Omi : kyun koi bimaar hai kya? 🧐

Karan : abhey.. Thoda ankhein kholke dekh.. Tumari pyaari behen bimaar hai..

Omi opened his eyes and glanced at both Teja and Sreetu.. Sreetu too looked bimmar because she got up now only..

Omi : agar Tu aise standardize karke batayega toh muje kaise pata chalega.. Meri toh do behenin hai na.. Mei kisko samjunga..

Sreetu tapped Omi's forehead..

Sreetu : mere fuddu bhaiyuu.. Mei theek hun.. Teju ko fever hai..

Omi : kya? 😟

Omi pushed karan and Sreetu and went to Teju.. He saw the patti..

Omi : Teju bacha.. Bohot tez hai kya?

Teju : hmm.. Nhi *rotating her head both haa and naa * 🙍‍♀️

Omi : bacha..

Omi took her in his embrace.. He felt hot touching her..

Omi : isko toh bohot tez bukhaar hai..

Kd : buddu.. Vahi toh hum bolre hein.. Jaldi family doctor ko bulao

Omi : haan... Haan..

Omi called their family doctor and informed her to come quickly..

Omi : papa.. Unko bol diya.. Voh aare hein.

Kd : thik hai.

Td and Tm were sitting there on the couch in the room, observing everyone's care.. Sreetu saw them ..

Sreetu : uncle, aunty.. Aap dono aise kyun bethe ho?

Everyone's attention turned towards Tm and Td..

Km : haan Ritu.. Aise kyun bethi ho?

Tm : mena abhi se prepare horahi hun.. Abh toh meri beti , apni sasuraal valon se bohot attached hogayi, voh apni Amma aur appa ko bhulna shuru kardia

Teju got up and went and kneeled down before tm and td..

Td : arey bacha.. Jaa jaake bed pe laid jaa.. Yahaan neeche bohot thand hai..

Teju : pehle muje Amma aur Appa se baat karni hai..

Td : toh karna.. Hum kayi thodi jaare hein..

Teju : chup🤫.. Aap dono ko lagta hai mei aap dono ko ignore karrahi hun? 😢

Tm : arey pagal.. Mene mazaak me bola.. Tu toh serious hogayi..

Teju : nhi aap bataiye..

Td : nhi beta.. Unga Amma ku etho aaiduchu.. Athunala olaruraanga.. (Teri mumma kuch hogaya.. Isliye bakwas karri hai) get up first..

Teju : I love you both more.. You know that na.. 😢

Tm : haan.. We know that.. Get up first..

Teju : no..

Karan came and picked her up like a baby, gently laying her on the bed...

Karan : chup.. Abh soja..

Teju : nhi..Amma..

Tm : haan.. Haan.. Aarahi hun..

Omi : isko kya hogaya? 🧐

Td : ye jab bimaar padegi toh bohot cranky ho jayegi ... Usko sirf Ritu chahiye hoti.. Uske aas paas hi rehna padta hai.. Abh gayi Ritu..

Teju : Appa.. 🤨

Td : acha thik hai bacha..

Km : koi na.. Me bhi toh hun Teju ke paas.. Me and Ritu will take care of her.. Haina Ritu..

Tm : haan haan... Isko akela handle karna bohot mushkil hai..

Kd to Karan : beta.. Tu toh gaya.. Aaj se do din Teju ke aaspaas bhi nhi jaa payega Tu..

Karan : papa.. Aap bhi naa..

Kd : sach bata raha hun... Yaad hai na.. Jab bhi tumari behano bimaar padti hein, tumari maa kaise tume aur muje unke aas paas bhi nhi aane deti..

Karan : haan haan.. Yaad hai.😒. Papa.. Muje laddoo ke paas rehna hai...

Kd : muje kuch nhi pata beta.. Tu kudh tumari maa se puch lena..

Km : sunny.. Jaake fresh hoke aa..

Karan looked at kd and gave a "please help me" look.. Kd returned  "I'm sorry" look to Karan.. Karan went to the washroom and freshened up.. When he came out, he found Teju sleeping peacefully, and no one else was around. He went to her and held her hand..It was too hot.. He kissed her hand.😘.

Karan : laddoo.. Jaldi thik hoja .. Kal hi toh humne confess kia.. Muje laga hum aaj bohot jaga jayenge.. Par tu toh bimaar padgayi.. Jaldi thik hoja...

Karan kissed her forehead and was about to move but Teju held Karan's hand in sleep.. Karan caressed her hair and slowly released his hand and went out..

Km and Tm were preparing khichdi for Teju and normal breakfast for others..

Td and Kd were engrossed in their politics talk.. Omi and Sreetu were busy with their phones.. Karan noticed this and went back to Teju...

Teju was sleeping peacefully.. Karan laid beside her, taking her in his arms.. Teju snuggled into his chest.. Karan securely wrapped his arms around her, gently caressing her hair.. He took his phone 📱 and scrolled his insta, going through some fan edits.. Few fans had already started shipping Teju and him, but not with hashtags and all..

He saw a picture of them from their series..

Karan in his mind : wah beta.. Acha kaam kiya hai.. Acha project hi choose kiya.. Par laddoo toh wah wah.😃👏👏. Kya act ki hai?.. Iss show se laddoo ko yahaan bollywood me bohot chances aayega.. Oh god.. I'm too excited to see my laddoo in yahaan ke big screens..

Karan kissed Teju on the forehead..

Km came there with khichdi for Teju..

Karan : bass laddoo ko comfort dera hun..

Tm too came there with aalo paratha and sabji... She saw Teju sleeping peacefully, hugging Karan..

Tm : haan Suneeta, rehne do.. Teju, jabhi bimaar hoti hai voh itni asaani se nhi soti.. Par abhi voh sukoon se sorahi hai.. Let him stay beside her..

Tm : voh mei isliye maani kyunki mene joh kaha voh sach hai ... Voh iss vakth aise aasaani se nhi soti.. Usko bura sapna aayega.. Par abh sukoon se sorahi hai.. Isliye allow karrahi hun.. Varna mei bhi bohot possessive hun Teja ko leke..

Karan : haan meri dusri maa.. Pata hai.. Sabko meri hi fiancee ko leke possessive hai

Tm : badmaash.. Ye lo.. Khaalo..

Karan : thank you Amma.. Amma bol sakta hun na?

Tm : haan haan.. Kyun nhi... Hone wale daamaad ho.. Tu nhi bolega toh kon bolega..

Karan : thank you.. Aapne khaaya?

Tm : nhi.. Jaake khaana hai.. Karan, abhi tak doctor nhi aaye hein? Iski fever bohot tez hora hai..

Karan : haan amma, mei Omi se poochta hun..

Tm : tu rukh.. Ye khaalo.. Mei Omi se puch lungi.. Usko thoda uthake khilana.. Varna voh nhi khayegi.. Aur tu bhi khaana.. Thik hai.. Mei door band karke jaati hun..

Karan : ok Amma..khiladunga.. Don't worry.. Aap bhi jaake khaalo.. Laddoo ka tension na lo..

Tm ruffled Karan's hair and went out, closing the door..

Karan kept the plate aside and looked at his laddoo..

Karan : laddoo.. Baccha thoda uthna..

Teja snuggled more..

Karan : thoda sa uthke khaalo.. Phir soja na..

Teja : sunny.. Thodi der sone do.. Please.😪😪.

Teja again slept on his chest.. Karan kissed her cheeks..

Karan : laddoo ... Muje bhook lagi hai.. Agar Tu nhi kayegi toh me bhi nhi khaunga..

Teja got up immediately.. She shrinked her eyebrows and pouted cutely..

Teja : ok fine.. Feed me fast..

Karan sat straight and made her sit beside him.. He started feeding her.. She ate khichdi in half sleep.. She kept her head on his chest and slowly chewed the food in half sleep.. Karan chuckled at his cutie and fed her fully..

Teju : abh muje sone do.. 🙁

Karan : thik hai laddoo.. Tu bass yahaan pe rukho, mei tumare liye wet tissues laata hun..

He went and take wet tissues and wiped her face and mouth..

Teju : sunny.. Muje sona hai.. Please.. 🥺

Karan : haan toh soh lena.. Kon mana karra hai..

Karan lied slantingly, keeping his head on the headrest and made her sleep on his chest.. This time Teju laid on his full body..

Karan : laddoo kya karri hai? 😳

Teja : muje aise sona hai..

Karan : par baby, mumma papa sab aayenge na tuje dekhne .. Aur uncle aunty bhi aayenge.. Voh log embarrass feel karenge na..

Teja : hmm.. 🥺

Karan : Tu pehle jaise so na.. Raat me aise soja.. Thik hai..

Teja : okay..

Teju changed her position and kept her head on his chest, snuggling in close. She hugged him tightly and fell asleep in no time. The room was filled with the tranquility of her gentle breaths and the warmth of their shared moment.
