Teju called Rahul, instructing him to cancel shoots for the next week.

Karan : Teju, bhook lagri hai kya? Kuch khaane keliye order karun?

Teju shook her head to no..

She sat on the chair and closed her eyes, her mind fully occupied with her father's treatment. She contemplated shifting her father to Mumbai soon.

Teju got up and went outside the hospital to call Arjun

Teju shared what happened and expressed her confusion, seeking Arjun's advice.

TD chuckled a little, while Teju gave angry looks to Karan 😡😠

Karan : uncle, Teju ne joh decision liya voh sahi hai.. Aapko Mumbai shift hona chahiye.. Aap aur aunty akele yahaan nhi reh sakte hein.. Hume bhi tension hota hai.. So please aap Teju ki baat maan lijiye

But aap ye bhi toh socho, jaise Teju ne bataya, agar aap teeno Mumbai me ek ghar me rahenge toh tab bhi aap dono ko akele hona padega.. Teju ko night shifts hai.. Uski schedule bohot tight hai.. Kuch emergency pe bhi aap dono ke saath koi help keliye nhi honge.. Issliye bolra hun, aap aur aunty humare ghar me raho... Aap dono ko ek company bhi milegi na.. Mumma aur papa se baat karsakte hain.. Aap dono ko lonely feel nhi hoga.. Sreetu aur Omi bhi hai.. Acha timepass hoga .. Please uncle.. Mana mat karo ... Agar Teju ko naye ghar me jana hai toh voh chali jayegi.. But mei aap dono ko mere saath hi le jaunga..

Teju in her mind : What happened to him suddenly?... Is he real? .. Do his words hold truth? He is asking my parents to stay with him.... But kyun? ... Aur ye kya hai😒muje baga raha hai... Td looked at Teju, silently asking her what to do next with his eyes.. 

Teju closed her eyes for a while and thought about this.. Since her upcoming schedules were tight, she couldn't take off and stay with her parents... Also she couldn't leave them alone, because her father's condition is getting worse.. Also she couldn't be selfish..So accept what Karan said..

Karan stared at her with hope..

Karan in his mind : laddoo maan jaa na.. Please.. I don't want you to stay away from me.. You are a good friend of mine.. I don't want to lose you.. We will stay as friends like before..you stay with me.. That's enough for me..

Finally, Teju nodded, bringing relief to Karan. TD was also fine with this decision, after all kon Teju ke baat ko kaat sakta hai 😜

Karan : abh Teju bhi haan kar diya toh aap dono humare saath hi rahenge.. Deal ✊

Karan forwarded his hand.. Td too did fist bump with karan.✊

At the corner of her heart, Teju felt happy to see her parents getting comfortable with Karan.. They are bonding very well which makes her both happy and sad..

Karan continued talking with TD for some more time while Teju left them alone and went outside.

Km : Teju, sab thik hai na?

Teju : haan aunty.. Everything is fine..

Omi : Teju, doctor se baat hui thi.. Unhone bola kal uncle ko hum discharge kar sakte hein..

Teju : ok bhai.. Amma ( maa) , uncle aunty elarayum veetuku kootitu po (uncle aunty ko ghar leke jaao) ..Ask them to take some rest there..

Tm : haan..

Teju : Aunty, uncle, Sreetu.. Tum log maa ke saath ghar jake rest karo..

Kd : Teju, we will stay in our friend's house..

Teju : Uncle, no need.. Maa, take them home..aur haan, kuch khaana khilado..

Tm : okay Teju..

Tm took Kd, Km and Sreetu to their home..

After they left, Teju sat on the chair, and Omi joined her, immediately feeling her head on his shoulder. Omi gently caressed her hair.

Omi : mei ek cheez puchun?

Teju : yes..

Teju stayed silent for some time..

Teju hold his arms and snuggled more into his embrace.. Omi positioned her head on his shoulder.

Teju  : bhai.. I am confused..

She opened up about her conversation with Sreetu.

Teju : She is telling me that I am in love with Karan.. But I am not, and I can't be.. Kaise bhai, aap hi batao.. We've known each other for the past 20 days.. Bass.. Itne hi din mein pyaar kaise ho sakta hai.. And I can't love Karan.. He deserves better and moreover, I can't get diverted... Dad and mom trust me a lot.. I can't break their trust na.. Agar pyaar hona hai toh first sight me bhi ho sakta hai.. Agar tu Karan se pyaar karti hai toh khulke kar.. Pyaar karna koi gunaah thodi hai.. Agar nhi karti hai usse pyaar, toh tuje itna sochne ki zarurat hi nhi hai.. Tu pehle jaise hi reh.. Usse baat kar, usse pareshaan kar.. But avoid mat kar..

Teju stayed silent processing what he said..

Omi : Tu ye bata, do you like him as  a friend or not?

Teju : haan.. He is a nice guy.. I love talking with him.. He has more knowledge about everything.. Usse bohot kuch seekh sakte hai .. He is fun too.. ☺

Unknowingly Teju smiles while talking about Karan... Omi noticed this and chuckled in his mind..

Omi in his mind : pagal.. Ye toh pyaar me hai.. But denial mode pe hai.. Koi na, maan jayegi..

Omi : toh you continue talking... It's normal Teju... Jaise tune bataya, may be its an attraction..agar voh hai toh koi baat nhi.. Sabko kisi na kissi pe attraction hoga.. Uss ek cheez keliye kisise baat karne se thodi back off karenge...

Teju : you are right bhai... I am sure about myself.. I don't love him.. Its just a mere attraction.. He too thinks me like a friend.. So avoiding him or ignoring might have hurted him na.. Shit.. Bhai mene ye kya galti kardia.. 😣

Omi : it's okay.. Usse baat karke sorry boldo..

Teju : thanks bhai.. Love you so much 😌😌 you opened my eyes... Aapse baat karke acha laga.. Bhai... Ek aur cheez hai..

Omi : kya?

Teju : voh mene ye confusion ke chakar me Rahul se ek ghar doondne ko kehdiya.. He too found out.. I asked him to get the rental agreement and keys ready... But today, Karan convinced Appa ( papa) to stay with in you guys.. Now what will I do with that house? 😥

Omi : tu bhi na.. Itne jaldi jaldi bade bade decisions lene ki kya zarurat hai.. Ek baar mujse bhi puch sakti thi na? 🤨

Teju : sorry bhai.. That time, I thought to stay away from Karan.. That's why I asked Rahul to find a house .. Abh iss problem keliye bhi solution do na..

Teju pestered his elbow with her fingers..

Omi : okay okay... Rahul ko call kar.. Aur boldo ki abhi nhi chahiye.. Simple.. Aur haan doctor se baat kardia mene..uncle can travel through flight..its safe for him.. So aaj monday hai, Thursday hum Mumbai vaapas jayenge..

Teju : bhai.. You guys may have lots of work.. Aap sab Mumbai jayiye... I'll bring mom and dad.. I can manage..

Omi : I know pagli.. You can handle everything.. But agar tera bhai hai tere saath toh tuje akele ye sab karne ki koi zarurat nhi hai.. Mei bhi tere saath hi rahunga.. Hum sab ek saath Mumbai jayenge.. Okay..

Teju : okay.. Then I will show you the best places of Chennai..We can go to Mumbai on friday...so that we will get atleast two days to spend here ..

Omi : ok done.. But vaapas jaane ke baad tereko aur Karan ko bohot kaam karna padega.. Bohot hectic schedule hoga..

Teju : voh toh hai.. But we can manage..

Omi and Teju stayed in the same position..both slept because of tiredness..He kept his head on her head and slept 😴..

Karan came out of ICU ward to have dinner and he noticed a beautiful view and decided to capture the moment. Meanwhile, He realized that neither Teju nor Omi had eaten anything since morning. He went near Omi and began to wake him.

Karan : Omi.. Omi .. Get up.. Utho..

Omi woke up with a jerk .. Due to this, Teju also woke up..

Teju : Karan.. Why are you disturbing my sleep?.😠

Karan : Excuse me, madam.. Aap mujse baat karre hein?

Karan acted as if he didn't know Teju..

Teju : your name is Karan, right? Toh tujse hi baat kar rahi hun..

Omi : tum dono jagada karna band karo.. Aur chalo, muje bhuk lagra hai..

Teju : muje bhi🥺

Karan : ussi keliye uthane aaya tha.. Par ye ladaaku mujse ladne lag gayi..

Teju : Did you say something?

Karan : haan... Tu hai ladaaku ..

Teju : tum

Teju pointed finger at him..

Omi : bass karo yaar.. Fir se shuru kardia.. Chalo chup chap..

The OmTejRan trio headed to the canteen, continuing their playful banter and enjoying their dinner together.
