Ahana's POV

"Kyun?" I asked.

"Aapko adoption papers phirse sign karne honge... tabtak Manvi ko hamare saath orphanage jaana hoga.." Nilima said helplessly.

I held Manvi's hand and said "bilkul nahi.. Meri beti hai ye kahi nahi jayegi.."

"Ahana ji please.. Bas ek din ki baat hai main jaldi se adoption papers ready karwa dungi phir aap le aana apni beti wapas apne paas" she tried to convince me.

I denied.. "No.."

Manvi said "mumma mumma suno.."

I looked at her and asked "kya hai?"

"Sirf ek din mumma.. Phir toh main aapke paas aa jaungi na.. Aur ye legal papers bas formality hai.. Hamara maa beti ka rishte pe toh iska farak nhi padega" she said.

I sighed deeply.. "Kabhi nahi sunti hai tu meri.. Thik hai jaa.." I said leaving her hand.

"Aise bhejogi toh main kaise jaungi.." she said dramtically.

I smiled hearing her.. "Jaa.."

She kissed my cheek and left with Nilima. 

I was inside the room, I packed my things. I will be now moving to Virat's home as his wife. Oh my god, I never expected something like this would happen to me. It seems like yesterday we use to fight and argue.

"Ho gaya sab pack?" I heard his voice.

I looked at him and said "I am your wife.. Aisa kaise ho gaya?"

He smiled.. "Ab ho gaya.. Kuch nahi kar sakti tum" he said winking at me.

"Ye bahut bura hua... ab tum meri beti ko aur zyada bigad doge" I said fearing.

"What do you mean by tumhari beti? Meri bhi beti hai wo.. And she will be now Manvi Singhaniya not Manvi Goenka.." he said.

I argued with him "no.. she will only be Manvi Goenka.."

"No.. she will be Manvi Singhaniya.." he argued.

We started to argue, he left the room in anger. I also sat down on bed crossing my arms around my chest. "Sunta hi nahi hai ye.. Apni manmani karta hai.."

I moved out of the room taking the bag. Virat picked up the bag and moved out of the house.

I looked at Aditi and Anoop, I hugged them.. "I will miss you.."

"Milne aati rehna.. Aur manvi ko bhi bhej diya karna" Aditi said.

I smiled "haan mumma.. Ab toh wo khud yahan aane ki zid karegi.."

Anoop said.. "Take care bache.."

I nodded affirmatively and left the house.

I sat in front and he dozed off to the orphanage. A silent prevailed between us.

"Bol rahi hun main Virat.. Manvi ka naam wahi rahega jo pehle tha" I said..

"We will see.." he said with a mischievous smile on his face.

After about 20 minutes, we arrived at the orphanage. I got down and went inside. We went to the office.

Nilima smiled seeing us.. "Aayie aapka hi wait kar rahi thi main.."

She took out the papers "ye lijiye sign kar dijiye aur phir apni beti ko le jayie"

I took the pen and signed the papers.

Nilima said "Viratji aap bhi sign kijiye"

Virat also signed the papers. He whispers in Ahana's ear "now I am legally Manvi's father.."

I glared at him to which he smiled.

Nilima said "well ab Manvi ko aap le jaa sakte hai.."

We rushed out to Manvi's room but we could not find her there. I sighed.. "Kaha hai ye ladki.."

We heard the horn sound, she was inside the car. We headed out and saw her sitting inside the car. She waved to us.. "Jaldi aao.. Mujhe new ghar jaana hai"

I smiled seeing her excitement. I sat inside the car, followed by Virat. He began driving, after a few minutes Manvi questioned "aap dono mein firse jagda hua?"

"Haan manvi tumhari mumma ne mujhse jagda kiya" Virat said.

I replied "tumne mujhe jagda kiya.. Mannu tumhara naam manvi goenka tha na pehle ab bhi wahi rahega.."

"Hey bhagwan.. Aap dono phirse mere liye lad rahe they.. Agar aap dono ne ladna band nahi kiya na toh main wapas orphanage chali jaungi" she said giving us warning.

"Haan phir yahi se uthake bahar fhek dungi tujhe" I gave her instant reply.

"Offo mumma.. Mera naam Manvi Ahana Singhaniya hai.. Adoption papers pe yahi likha hai.." she said.

I was shocked hearing this, I checked the adoption papers it was Manvi Ahana Singhaniya. I glanced at Virat.

He said.. "Ab tumhara naam toh chin nahi sakta na...."

I smiled..

After 15 minutes, we arrived at his bungalow. Manvi screamed "Waao.. akdu uncle ke ghar aa gaye hum"

She jumped out of the car, I get down and we headed towards the house.

Virat unlocked the house with the key, I entered inside along with Manvi.

I was shocked to see the wall in front of me, it was Manvi and Virat's pictures hanging since childhood.

"Are ye photos to maine lagayi thi.. Akdu uncle kitne ache hai.. Abhi beech mein na aapki aur mumma ki photo lagaungi and we will be a happy family" she said excitedly.

Manvi moved to her bag and pulled out something. There were few pictures, I was astonished seeing our engagement and wedding pictures. She was there, she had attended and seen everything. I sighed..

She hung the pictures and smiled.. She also hang a picture of three of them "Perfect"

"Mumma aap akdu uncle ke room mein jao aur main upar waale room mein" she said.

"Tujhe sab pata hai?" I asked

"Yes mumma.. Main yahan bahut baar aayi hun.. O teri.. Purane ghar mein mere teddies clothes sab honge.. Chalo na akdu uncle leke aate hai" she said moving towards virat.

"Uski zaroorat nahi hai.. Maine sab already mangwa liya tha sab tumhare room mein hai you just to arrange it" he said.

She jumped on her toes hearing this "woohu.. You are the best chalo help me set up my room"

She held his hand and pulled him upstairs. I smiled seeing their bond, the bond of father-daughter. A girl needs a mother the most but she needs a father to whom she can demand everything. Virat was just the perfect father for her. I moved upstairs and stood at the door.

Manvi was ordering Virat and he was arranging the things according to her. I smiled seeing this..

Virat's POV

Finally, Manvi was with us, I was missing her badly. I was following her orders, I just can't deny her. The day I met her accidentally, I never thought she would become a reason to live. I was now bound in relation, a father I was. It was a great feeling, which I can't describe in words.

"Papa.. ye teddy idhar bed pe rakho acha lagega" she said.

I nodded and moved but stopped when I heard something different. I turned back to her and asked "kya kaha tumne?"

"Wo teddy udhar rakh do.." she said smilingly.

I sighed.. "Usse pehle kya kaha tumne.."

"Akdu papa.. Aap mumma ke husband hai toh akdu papa bolungi na ab.." Manvi spoke.

I cupped her face, instantly tears of happiness flown down my eyes. I hugged her tightly.

"Ab aap mujhe senti mat kijiye.. Chalyie kaam kijiye" Manvi said.

I smiled.. "Sirf tum mujhpe orders chala sakti ho.. Baaki kisiki main sunta nahi"

"Acha..? lekin mumma ki toh sunte ho na aap" she said teasingly.

I looked at her.. "Shaitan.. Chalo apne kapde cupboard mein lagao.."

She nodded and started arranging her clothes.

I moved out of the room and came to the bedroom, Ahana was arranging her things. I hugged her from behind.

She smiled.. "Ho gaya baap beti ke orders..."

"Haan.. ho gaye" I replied.

She turned towards me and smiled "thanks Virat.. I misunderstood you every time but you still took care of Manvi.. Tumne bhi uske saath wo rishta banaya jo maine joda tha.. Sahi kehti thi manvi uske akdu uncle ache hai.."

"Toh finally tumne maan liya main acha hun.." I said winking at her.

"Itna khush hone ki zaroorat nahi hai.. Isse zyada tarif tumhari nahi kar sakti main" Ahana said.

"Uski zaroorat hai bhi nahi manvi hai na.. Wo karegi meri tarif.." I said

"Are haan.. Pata nahi kaisa khana khaya hoga usne itne mahine.. Main acha sa bana deti hun uske liye khana" she said and left the room.

I followed her and showed her the kitchen. "Should I help?" I asked.

"Nahi.. I will manage" she replied.

I moved out, I saw Manvi sitting on the couch and watching movie. I sat beside her and asked "kya dekh rahi ho?"

"Papa ye movie haaye.. Varun Dhawan he is so cool.. Mujhe milna hai usko mumbai le chalo na mujhe" she demanded.

"Beta wo bada actor hai.. Aise kaise milega?" I asked.

She made faces.. "Aap bhi meri baat nahi sunte.. Huh pehle aapne kaha tha main badi ho jaungi toh aap mujhe le jaoge ab nahi le jaa rahe.. Katti aapse" she stood up and ran upstairs.

I sighed deeply.. Her memory is really sharp, she remembered what I said to her at the age of 4.
